Poor tattoo artist because the rendering is not artistic, the hair is more than he actually has and he's not cheeto orange! Plus the tie is polka dotted! Don't think I have ever seen him in anything but a solid colored tie.

Great memes. Also, Biden doesn't wear diapers, lifts in his shoes or a girdle.

What they are up to now which is not a real good look for Reps. or their party and I'm pretty sure they are not helping the Orange Turd at all. I still say not only a waste of energy but likely at some point in time in the future a deep regret. And Squeaky Bible is totally pathetic.

If she cried it should have been for the babies he had locked up in cages and then she should have quit. Most of them were too enamored of their positions given to do such a thing as walk away or utter resistance of any kind. Moral jellyfish.

We are just so upside down right now. Stupid Reps. making fools of themselves showing up at a trial that sure seems like it is likely to end in a conviction — yet there they are kissing the ring and other areas. What must people from other countries think of our parade of fools and ass kiss**s.

Just between us I do in fact find it maddening that they still refer to the orange one as Pres. Trump. As though he EVER was at any time. Hillary Clinton had it right from the beginning. He was a REAL puppet and while he made a lot of the choices the majority of them were really wrong.

I hope a conviction is not long in coming and then we can get on with the remainder of the trials and put the orange sideshow to rest once and for all. He is VERY un-viable, and I'm amazed at the cadre of fools putting themselves out. Republican party = Charade.

I am feeling very discouraged about the upcoming election. TBH, I feel as if we will experience great upheaval in our country regardless of the outcome of the election. I was speaking with friend yesterday who feels that the Biden campaign is being to passive and low key in its approach to campaigning. She wants to see the campaign blanket the airways, billboards and any other pathways with scorched earth exposure of all trumps machinations while also doing a better job of touting Biden’s accomplishments. Basically, they sling mud, accusations, and lies about the Biden administration so she believes Democrats should act in kind. I understand her point, but I am having trouble with the idea of sinking to their disgusting level.

But here’s what I’m really down about. If Biden wins, I suspect a sizable chunk of the Republican Party will not accept the result and foment further upheaval and likely violence. If trump wins, there goes our democracy. I truly feel very down over this. Can anyone give me a little hope? I have never felt this way about the fate of my country. I never imagined that my country would be standing on the precipice of disaster.

I'm sad to agree with you, exbrnx. I don't think the spell will be broken until D.T. has exited the planet……at that point, I pray that it is not too late to get back to some sort of civilized 'normal'.

While I am trying to remain optimistic, I have to admit that I am becoming increasingly concerned about the election. Should Biden win, I suspect that DT will not go quietly. So many people have bought into the idea of “rigged and stolen” elections that it’s not a stretch to imagine that there could be trouble should DT lose. If he wins, the cast of characters that he will bring with him this time will be even worse than those who served under him previously. I find that truly disturbing as so many of them are either evil, hateful people, or morons who are hell bent on destroying our current system of government.

The election is still several months away and my hope is that the good work that is being done by many grassroot organizations to register voters and support reasonable, decent candidates for the House and Senate will be fruitful. As a friend always says, “There is reason to be hopeful, but not complacent”. It is incumbent upon all of us to encourage all like minded folks not to give in to despair and make sure they vote. As disappointed as I am by many of our fellow citizens, I have to believe that there are more decent people out there quietly going about their business who will let their votes do the talking.

I took that to mean that Hicks was as much a Reps. jellyfish as the rest of them. In my mind she only cried because she still for some ignorant reason wants the orange thing to continue to love and value her. She left one time but did not stay away, foolish person that she is. She is as guilty as anyone but CRIES because she had to tell the truth. How amazing.

I have to hope that in the end there are enough of us. I do have a whole lot of worries, but the one thing the media wants to do to most of us is scare us to the core. So we tune in. Yet, there are things to feel very apprehensive over. There are Reps. who will try to keep the 'rigged' election story going — why wouldn't they it is mainly them who do the rigging. It will be be a scary time this next election, but Trump is not I don't think going to be viable at election/nomination time.

I do think if the work is put in we can come through. I also know that there are things that go on behind the scenes we are not privy to and so I do hope many possible events are being handled even now this far out to minimize bad actions and bad actors.

    From Hufffington Post

Although Donald Trump eagerly accepted Joe Biden’s offer to do two presidential debates, folks from Trump’s campaign weren’t as enthusiastic.

In fact, they were downright “irked,” according to CNN journalist Kristen Holmes, who spoke with Trump insiders after Biden “took over the debate narrative” Wednesday.

Trump had been making fun of Biden at his campaign rallies, suggesting that the Democratic president was unwilling to debate him.

But Biden has now deprived the Trump camp of this spin by agreeing to participate in a CNN debate on June 27 and an ABC debate on Sept. 10, Holmes said.

“Talking to Trump’s senior advisers and those in his orbit, they’re a little bit irked,” she said.

“After we saw this announcement from Biden, after Donald Trump had accepted these two debates, he [Trump] then got on Truth Social to say he was going to accept a third debate at Fox on Oct. 2,” she
added, referring to the former president’s social media platform.

    Biden’s
campaign responded to Trump’s comments about a Fox debate by saying:
“No more games. No more chaos, no more debate about debates.”:

NFL responds after Chiefs player Harrison Butker’s controversial graduation speech goes viral

The NFL’s senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer said the kicker “gave a speech in his personal capacity.”

    May 15, 2024, 7:31 PM EDT

Four days after Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker delivered a controversial graduation speech, the NFL is speaking out about his comments.

Butker spoke to the 2024 graduates at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, on May 11. In his speech, Butker encouraged women to be homemakers while criticizing IVF, birth control, Pride month and more.

In a statement obtained by TODAY.com, the NFL's senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer, Jonathan Beane, said the kicker "gave a speech in his personal capacity."

"His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger."

TODAY.com has also reached out to the Chiefs and Butker but did not receive a response.

The three-time Super Bowl champion told women in his 20-minute speech that they were told "the most diabolical lies" before saying that his wife's life "really started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother."

Butker also said Pride month is a "deadly sin sort of pride." Pride month, typically held in June, is a month dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

The father of two also seemingly criticized birth control and fertility treatments, telling graduates that "there is nothing good about playing God with having children." Butker also told men to be "unapologetic in your masculinity."

He also heavily criticized President Joe Biden and his response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“While COVID might have played a large role throughout your formative years, it is not unique,” he said. “Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues. Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values and media all stem from pervasiveness of disorder.”

The speech was met with strong reactions across social media. Commenters flooded the Chiefs' Instagram page demanding a response to the speech.

"You were happy to have more women as fans this season yet you support Harrison Butker? What an absolute slap in the face to every woman who has supported the Chiefs. Does the team also agree that we are only good to spot out babies and clean the house?" wrote one commenter.

"Cut Butker or lose fans. I would never want my younger brother or son to look up to him," wrote another. "His speech was demeaning, uneducated, misogynistic and laced in male insecurity."

What the F indeed, Divine. I just have to believe these people who live in the dark ages have very little if any perception how a speech like that would sound to most of the women of the world. To say we are not on the same page — are not even in the same millennium. What he says and believes and what the majority of women feel just has no words of comparison, period. The last little paragraph says it all:

"Cut Butker or lose fans. I would never want my younger brother or son to look up to him," wrote another. "His speech was demeaning, uneducated, misogynistic and laced in male insecurity."

Ruth, I do believe as your article points out that we are in fact making good strides in places with Pres. Biden. I always think we could and even possibly should be doing and saying more, but Pres. Biden isn't senile like someone else we know. He has played the political game for a long, long time. It is good to worry because we need that vigilance, but at the same time I just can't spend the next 6 months being afraid of an election. The media portrays one outlier poll and many of us start to sink and that is exactly what is hoped. The Loon seems to get out ahead and suddenly we are doomed. We will be what we can believe — so I just can't let myself believe the worst. Pres. Biden is not perfect and in many ways I wondered if we needed someone younger — not because I thought less of Pres. Biden, but because I knew how difficult things would be for him from the day he first took office, to run and win again. I cannot lose my faith in him now that he knows what he is doing and that he will pick the time that is right (which does feel like it is not coming soon enough) to fight back with a vengeance. Hope, faith, and belief because we don't always get the behind the scenes information that might assist us mightily is overcoming our dread and fears. We can't be complacent and if we knew too much we might be and that would never be good.

So the Loon is now in a corner and he and his handlers are going to have to come up with a reason that the Loon after all will not be able to debate. After all, he is likely not to recall who he is debating or what or much of anything else.
