    @Rosebessie lol the advantages of being bald, you can’t pull your hair out! My hair is slowly growing back in again with the Carbo / taxotere combo which is strange, as hair loss usually is part of that chemo. I joke with my DH it’s my Buddhist nun look, as I don’t wear my wig around the house.
    I was able to move a meeting so should be able to come tomorrow. Fingers crossed ❤️❤️❤️. As it’s Super Bowl Sunday, and we don’t have a rooting interest in the game, we plan to watch with the sound off and order in Mexican food.

    missed yesterday due to travel but our first day of the Florida birthday trip is great and so warm.

    Hi everyone, I usually go to the Monday meeting, but won't be there this week because I will be working 9-5. I just wanted to share that my Wed PET scan (my first since switching to Talzenna) showed an almost complete response. Only one previous spot still showed up (femur) with an SUV of 1.1 compared to 3.1 on my Nov scan. It's a great result, but of course in the back of my mind I think "yeah, but for how long?"

    @mozuke1 that is great news. So glad Talzenna is doing such a terrific job for you! Woo hoo. 🙌 . I know, cancer sucks, and dealing with the normal up and downs of metastatic disease is the norm for us. And with that said, yeah for this result today. Happy for you. Wishing it lasts a long long time. 🤗 Rhonda

    @mozuke1 I am so happy you’re having a response. I hope it continues for years.

    So I had someone I used to work with years ago message me on Facebook. He was an old coworker from where I left in 2014, 11 years ago. I would say we have talked on the phone once since I left. He Facebook messages me maybe twice a year. He wrote recently and said we needed to catch up. Then he wrote again today to say Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

    I am getting to the point where it’s getting harder for me to want to talk on the phone. I’m perfectly fine with texting, but there are a lot of times when I’m fatigued, especially later in the day.

    I wrote him back and told him I appreciated that he wanted to catch up but that I’m now on hospice, and I just don’t have the energy to talk due to fatigue. He did know I have cancer.

    His response: “No problem. Just get better, Kris💚💚”

    All I can do is laugh. What the hell? I just put a heart on his comment. 🤦🏻‍♀️

    kbl it so hard to lose a pet I’m so sorry I have a vision of all my pets meeting me after all of them I also feel as a responsibility of determining when it’s time is so hard but a part of pet ownership much love going to you

    @kbl Nice that an old friend reached out, and yes all you can do is shake your head and laugh. Love that you put ❤️ on his comment. Sounds like the fatigue is getting more prevalent. Hope you can allow yourself the rest from engaging as much as you used to. Sending hugs .

    I spoke to the RO today and have a Ct mapping appointment for Friday for my second round of radiation for the new skin Mets. See my Northwell MO tomorrow and regular infusion, Lymphendema PT on Thursday, and hopefully will hear from dermatology with a appt for the biopsy. So many appts ! At le ast it’s spring break this week and I have the time.. Hugs to all ❤️I might miss Mondays call next week, I’ll keep you posted.

    @rlschaller You are correct, I am feeling more fatigued, and I’m finding I don’t really want to converse by phone too much, I’d rather text at this point. I just don’t have the stamina. I am going to have to let my sister-in-law know, who can sometimes call multiple times in a week and tells me how good I sound.

    I’m sorry you’re dealing with so many doctor appointments and have more skin mets. I hope the radiation can help and also that your PT goes well.

    @kbl thank you. I’m glad I have a new plan , and will follow it through , hopefully we’ll get the Mets like we did the first time round. Hen figure out the chemo after, I have 3 drugs I have not tried yet, plus they have a clinical trial for me if we choose that. I’ll deal with o h ne month. See how I feel and what they recommend. Meanwhile I’m so Grateful my job gives me the flexibility fo all he appointments and treatments,. Though it is tiring managing it all.

    Honoring where you are and what you need is so important. I hope you texting with your SIL works out . Resting and at the same time letting go of others needs to hold on and encourage wellness, can be both supportive and tiring I would imagine. Centering yourself for peace of mind and peace of body is key. Sending hugs and light ❤️

    I missed a few mondays now. I miss you all and hope everyone is coping as best they can.

    KBL no one listens to us because they cannot fathom living with end of life concerns and cancer. It’s not their life. I hope you save all your good energy for what you want and need to do like grandson and daughter husband, family.

    I have a new niece born Monday morning at 5:30 am. I got to welcome her into the world as my sister in law was left alone. I loved it she’s beautiful.
    my daughter had a surgical procedure last Thursday so I was in Philly helping with transportation meals and kids. I helped the kid s help each other. Got to go to longwood gardens with a friend. The new conservatory is beautiful. Take care all
