    Hi gals,

Will not be there on zoom again tomorrow, it’s my last Monday of radiation.

Finished 10 radiation treatments, five to go. Seems like it’s working, the skin nodules have almost all dissolved, it’s what it’s in the underlaying skin layer now to dissolve more. It’s all less red and slightly pink so that is good and some areas normal color… fingers crossed it continues. MRI yesterday for the neck and spine to check on those lesions, which had resolved and did not show on the latest PET.. but we’ll see. Radiation has been fine, no SE really, just sleepy a little earlier in the evening. I can manage the discomfort on the breast as the skin breaks down and heals, it’s all good. The weekends are awesome, cause I feel so good and energetic with no treatments. Did a short cardio and stretch routine early today, and then made fresh carrot and apple juice. I see both the RO and MO this coming week, will fill you all in when I get back to group. Today is a cooking day and a long walk planned day, just love the fall on the east coast. Cool weather, sweaters, sunshine. The Carboplatin dose I’m on is a low dose, so does not effect my energy level that I can notice. We’ll see if it can help stabilize the skin METs from progressing.

Hope everyone is hanging in there and doing well today. This MBC path we travel has many demands, with ups and downs, turns and curves and surprises and disappointments along the way. And yet we persevere which is amazing really, nice to know we have each other to cheer for and give and receive good wishes and care… wherever we are and however we land. Happy Sunday ❤️

@rlschaller - so glad to hear that you can already see some positive results from your radiation and are not feeling any major side effects. Good luck with the remaining 5.

Love your positive attitude. Enjoy your weekend. Sounds like it will be a fun one. You rock!

Hi all, I will not be on zoom next week, and wanted to wish everyone a wonderful holiday ! My stepson arrived from CA yeah ❤️ and son and daughter-in-law coming down tomorrow, and then a week of cozy family love. Very Happy. Scans competed this week, day 10 of new treatment no major complaints, life is good. Ready for the new year with love and light.

@illimae i saw on another thread it’s your 24th wedding anniversary next week, 🥳 and stable scans 💐👏. Awesome news.

hugs and love to everyone - Rhonda

rlschaller - Have a wonderful holiday. Can't think of anything nicer than what you've described as a week of "cozy family love". The best!

To all of my Zoom family, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Kwanza, and may you have a beautiful day with family and friends. I love you all. For those of you without family or friends around you, I am wrapping my arms around you (Rose) @Rosebessie and anyone else. It’s just my husband and me this year. Big hugs to all of you, and thank you for always being there for me.
