Oh my, that looks too cold for late April.

Went to Tai Chi at lunchtime…it was 74…now I feel guilty. 🤗TT

I am concentrating on getting 4500 steps in daily, not going above or below. Seems to be working, still very tired at times through the day. Put in a mile or so on the bike.

Yesterday, I went to HIT & Dance2fit, with a long hike with the dog in-between. Today was Pilates/Stretch & a shorter dog walk. Tomorrow, we are at an out-of-town wedding, so I won't get an exercise unless I can convince my DH to dance with me!9

McBaker: Sorry you have been feeling tired. wtg with keeping your steps within the limit you want.

Ruth: Have fun at the wedding. Grab your dh's hand and lead him to the dance floor.

I walked yesterday. Today I continued cleaning out our church's craft/junk room. So much stuff! The plan is to keep or donate the useful items and get rid of the old. Some of the old is at least 30 and 40 years old. I'm recycling when possible, going to try to sell CDs (lots of them) at a store that pays cash for things like that, tossing the unkeepable. It's a sweaty challenge bc there's not air conditioning and the room is hot.

My Thursday evening class was cancelled…got the notice when I was walking to the car to go to the gym, so frustrating. But got to the gym yesterday, that make 3x this week. Better than the only 1x the week before, but I really like it better at 4x or even 5x.

Happy Wedding Ruth, and yes to dancing at the wedding! TT

We had lots of fun at the wedding & even did dance! I did some yardwork & utube exercises when we got home. We are predicted to get a big rainstorm in the middle of the night. We very much need rain, but would prefer to skip the 'storm' part of the forecast!

TT: I'm sure that was frustrating that your class was cancelled, especially since you were prepared and ready to go.

Ruth: Glad ya'll danced. Hope the storm wasn't too bad.

Today I went back to the craft room at the church to continue going through stuff. I'm recycling all the posters, VBS booklets, boxes. Getting a workout bc the rooms are on the 3rd flloor and I was up and down the stairs many times.

It was a windy, raw day; but we got 2 inches of much needed rain, abs are happy about that! Bruno didn't even want to go for a walk, so got his exercise by chewing up toys & bones. I went to Zumba & HIT.

Got to they gym on Sunday for my peak effort class of the week…and hope to get to Tai Chi at lunch today.

Off tomorrow for a couple of days of business in DC, so have lots on my plate to do before end of day today. But looking forward to a DC trip in early May — so much nicer than my next trip up there…mid-July is a miserable time to be in DC weather wise.

    Happy last of April…TT

    Did some housework

We got lots of rain & wind, but no storm. So we are happy!

Yesterday. I took a walk & a couple classes. This morning DH & I got up early and drove 75 miles so Bruno could go to a rehab boot camp for his bad hip & knee. While he was exercising, using an underwater treadmill, getting lasered & massage; we went out to breakfast, shopped awhile & took a 45 minute walk in a nice park. I did a weight lifting class when I got home.

    TT: Have fun in DC!

    m0mmy: Housework never ends.

Ruth: Bruno has such good parents. Hope he is improving.

My exercise continues to be cleaning out the church storage room, moving and lifting heavy boxes. Going up and down stairs. Going back tomorrow.

I went to HIT this morning, cleaned out some flower beds, drug out some summer clothes, took a dog walk, and went to a May Day march.

Still working at the church's storage/craft room. Up and down stairs carrying heavy items and bags. Some of the storage tubs haven't seen the light of day in decades. I'm recycling, throwing away, donating lots and lots of supplies to schools and Girl Scouts. I'm glad I'm doing this bc I was afraid some of the men would just throw everything away rather than deal with it.

Gonna do a workout this morning and a little housework. Trying to get our rental a little more ready for a visit from a former colleague of hubby's from Connecticut. Even though the place is pretty clean, I want it a little more cleaner for company.

I'm walking walking walking and then sitting sitting sitting…being in a city for business is all about those two!

I'm usually in DC this first weekend of May on business and typically go to a local pub for dinner and watching the Kentucky Derby with a lively crowd…did that in 2022 and caught covid for the first time after being safe for nearly two years, ugh…still not happy about large crowds.

    Happy May! TT

On Saturday I got to visit with my granddaughter. She's 6 months and and such a good baby. I love giving her a bottle. Melts my heart!

Had nice weather and lower dew points today and yesterday. Walked yesterday and this evening. My sisters visited today and we had a great time. They came to pick up some of the supplies I've been sorting through in the church's storage room. One sister volunteers at a place called Classroom Central where teachers can get classroom supplies for free. I'm still sorting through things in the room. It's amazing how much stuff was stuffed in there.

Got to the gym yesterday…and am on track to go 4x this week. I can only hope as I have already planned my schedule to allow this.

We are now in finals, so our schedules are all upside down. TT

    Fun family times, wonderland!

Hope you had fun with your company, mommy.

Ah TT, the upside down end of the year schedules, I remember them well!

I cleaned the house this morning, went on a dog walk & to CORE. We used a big ball with all of our exercises, I will be sore in different places than usual!

Tai Chi today for me…we are still in the fresh springtime days, walking across campus this morning the lawns were being mowed and the new grass "green" smell of childhood was everywhere!

    Happy Wednesday, TT

We are also having lovely, springtime days! We dropped Bruno off for his next rehab session & headed to the nearby bigger town where we spent a couple hours in the park walking and reading. Then we met our friends for lunch & I spent $$$ at Shields for (the dreaded) new swimsuit and some capris. On the road to pick up the dog & plan to go to Strength tonight.

Got to the gym last night for a stretch and core class taught by an instructor who is also a trigger point massage therapist…somehow she makes us do moves that the day after I feel like I had a deep tissue massage!

Will get to gym again today at lunchtime which makes 4 days this week…TT
