Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?

We spent the day in the backyard. Ended up a crazy day. Here’s my pool:

I said it was “vandalized” like the reflecting pool in DC. Storms took their toll, so much pine tree debris was in it. I had to dump the DE (earth pdt in the filter) and replace it; added liquid chlorine and a bag of chlorine shock. Put the vacuum in it tonight, just got it out with help from a head lamp I put on. LOL

It’s all cleaned up, for now. I’ll put in another bag of shock tomorrow morning. The rest of the day is calling for rain. Today’s weather was perfect so I can’t complain.

I did take a break to read my book while I added water to the pool. Anyone who owns a pool knows where this is going… so I kept reading until I jumped up, having over filled the pool. Then I had to drain some water, adding work to my day. Haha!

I’m hoping you all had an enjoyable day, with less work than I had.
