Three tree, I worked in a mental health clinic that a large deaf program. The alarm was so loud it was painful. Everyone went outside to get away from it.

Good evening sweet friends. Hope you all had a good day today and found something that peaks your interest.
@threetree That sounds dreadful for everyone in the building. I hope the residents remember it's awful for pets to have to endure. I know when our smoke detector goes off, the dogs round outside and try to jump the fence to get away. I'm right behind them.
@mara Guess my prompts are not working tonight. Hmm, or maybe it's just me. Mara I really like the meatless burger that you were able to change into a big mac. Lunch is so expensive, that a $10 savings is great in this economy.
Please disregard this post if it's TMI. I'm hoping to find anyone that has similar problems to share with and ideas to prevent in the future. I found a small amount of blood in my urine recently. It happened again and I had the most intense pain that I believe was from kidney stones. I passed one at home. I then saw primary Dr. that insisted I go to the ER as she worried about sepsis, etc. The lengthy weight in waiting room allowed me to pass another stone. They finally scanned my abdomen. Lots of blood in urine but no signs of infection or stones. ER doc prescribed peridium to clean out urinary tract. Humana declines to pay for it, but there is a generic over the counter version. They gave me a pain killer via IV and I had an awful reaction. I thought my head would explode. I was so confused I didn't recognize the route DH took to get us home. Once inside I still didn't recognize my own home and layout. DH thought I had a TIA, but I felt it was the Tramadol infusion? ER doc offered Morphine on top of this and I said absolutely not. I still have a headache but brain fog is almost cleared. No specific findings on urine analysis. Recommended a urologist, who I will definetly see. Anyone deal with this situation? I drown myself drinking water, so that is not a solution. Thanks for reading and I apologize for being so lengthy.
In your pockets for good scans and good days, too.

@irishlove I am so sorry you are dealing with kidney stones, I can imagine the pain they bring along. In your pocket to get this resolved without a med that causes head pain.
Got Herceptin today, got up before alarm which is good I guess.
EDIT re Herceptin, did not wait long for doctor or the Herceptin. Just got results of ECG, heart is in good shape. While waiting for my Herceptin, someone down below was hitting the cymbal down below. No problem except they did it five time super loud and my whole row of people jumped up each time it happened. Oh well, when I got a chance to mark the end of a radiation treatment, I was known to hit that thing pretty hard too.
Started laundry early, need to finish up. Setting mental schedule, need to divvy up by the half hour, decide something full of protein and carbs, start with making rice, opening lentils and still got beans, may have a bigger beef pie as well, should be healthy enough to see me through all day appointment between MO and Herceptin. Bringing couple of granola bars to eat. Not sure what else to have. Need to make appointment for MRI on Sunday tomorrow then off for the next almost 3 weeks. Get MRI result on June 2 with RO. Just checking no further necrosis.
MEAL 1 Did not want super heavy meal so took 1/3 cup rice, 1/3 cup lentils and about same amount of beefless ground, boiled in maybe a cup of water, added sour cream and onion seasoning and garlic butter seasoning. Just boiled them a minute on high stirring constantly, turned off heat and put a lid on. It was a little watery so strained it then put in a bowl. Added a little ranch dressing and a little caesar dressing, was filling enough and as said, not heavy at all. Bringing 3 granola bars since there for a while. I am OK with that.
I do hope everyone has a good day and in pockets for all.

Irish - geez, you can’t seem to catch a break - bad tooth and kidney stones on top of that. Hope you get some relief!
Shana - how is your recovery coming along? It will take some time to start to feel better after what you endured. Your body needs lots of rest.
Here for pocket duty for all in need.

Irishlove,
Blood in the urine is a symptom for many, many conditions — some worse than others. For example, blood in the urine was a symptom that my father had colon cancer and my father-in-law had stomach cancer. But, it could mean so many other things. Definitely see a urologist!
4 -
@irishlove Sheesh you absolutely can’t catch a break! I’m sorry you had such an awful experience with trying to get pain relief at the hospital. I would definitely want to know what they gave me. I wouldn’t want that again.! Hope you get in with urologist quickly 🤞🏻Continued prayers and big hugs your way🤗
@mara51506 Glad herceptin went smoothly and your heart checked out just fine! Sounds like a good day😊

I slept OK last night, peed alot post Herceptin but not surprised, was accessed and had saline going til drugs arrived so that is fine, in between visits to the rest room it was fine. Woke up earlier today, had to book Sunday June 28 for an MRI in the afternoon. Weird but whatever. Just have to go in a different door since cancer centre is closed. No biggie. I am sure the Paratransit will be fine.
Got laundry, when do I not though 😂. I am wanting some clothes done up and some regular cloths, got tons of those. Have to laugh at myself too, I use regular hair bands, not rubber the other kind to do up cords or if I am halfway through eating, wrap up the package and put an elastic on it. Anyway, thought I lost them, ordered more, then I found the originals, goodness gracious.
I am thinking about food of course, I may in the interest of getting more stuff used up at the same time, take couple of eggs and crack into a large bowl, chopped beans in cheese, lentils and beefless ground. Need smaller amount of everything. I think something like that would be good, put all in the microwave. I will see, sure I will post meals I decide to have.
EDIT I did wind up doing my version of a dump and go. I spray a regular bowl, I added some garlic butter seasoning, sour cream seasoning, a bit of caesar dresings as well and a spoonful of sour cream, added two eggs and whisked the eggs, seasonings and dressings. Once whisk done, added third cup of regular beans, 1/3 cup canned lentils and handful of black beans along with some shredded cheese. Heated all in my microwave, 6 mins 30 seconds. Removed the bowl, sliced everything up, added regular mayo and some ketchup. It was pretty tasty.
It is very dark here, radar maps shows a period of thunderstorms but that it clears out this afternoon. I do hope all have a good day, better weather and in everyones pocket.

Hi all
Irish love that we visit sounded awful. I hope you feel better and get your tooth extracted soon. I had tooth extracted and a year later got osteonecrosis of the jaw. I read an article about stopping zometa b4 extraction which my doctor did and it says that is not a good thing to do now. Oh well who knew I’ll try to find the article and share..
I read along daily but am quite overwhelmed and it’s been difficult to find a moment to respond. My mom (93) been visiting since June 1. She’ll probably leave middle of July before DH starts his treatment for liver cancer. Gd has her heart valve repair July 10.
I got to see an oncology dentist after Moffit head and neck discharged me bc they only want to do surgery for osteonecrosis and since I don’t need it yet they won’t keep me as a patient. New dentist told me that I cannot take amoxicillin every month long term as was Moffits plan. I kinda knew this but they said that was all that could be done and of course the chlorexidine mouthwash that discolors teeth. Ugh. New dentist prescribed pentoxifyline to increase blood flow and promote healing. I took one pill and se was awful. I’ll try again tomorrow but today I couldn’t make myself do it. He also suggested hyperbaric chamber. Has anyone done that?
mara I have tried some of your recipes. The ones you say are tasty. ThanksThreetree the fire alarm tests must be startling even though you know they’re scheduled. I hope it’s over now.
Waving hello to everyone
Take care
Tanya

@tanya_djamila I don't know how I missed that your DH has liver cancer. So sorry to hear that. I hope that his treatment is very effective and gives him many more years. He seems like such a lovely man the way you describe him comforting you during scans, etc. Glad you have had your mother visiting but hope it is not all too much for you.
I have been sick four out of the last six weeks-both respiratory/flu bugs. Was finally allowed to have anti-biotics today. Hope they will do the trick on this sore throat.
4 -
Chicagoan his diagnosis was accidental while getting a caravan on kidney they saw liver tumors. Then he didn’t want the kids to know until they confirmed with biopsy bc there was so much going on. Thanks for the kind words. Always good to keep up with everyone. I hope the antibiotics does the trick quickly for your lungs. Yes my mom is a joy but at this time it’s helped me emotionally having her around.
have a good evening and I hope and pray your medicine starts working quickly.Tanya

Good evening sweet ladies. This forum truly is loving, supportive and informative. @tanya_djamila May I join in wishing you strength and peace with your families medical challenges. How lovely you have your Mama to comfort you and you her. I saw your GD also has a serious surgery coming up, too. Love and prayers for healing for her, too.
I can not locate a dentist willing to take me on. The dentist that had done the root canal retired. The other local ones do not want the liability of working on this tooth. Guess they heard about osteonecroses. I have heard about the chamber of healing. It's widely used in European countries with excellent results for healing.
@chicagoan that's a long time to be suffering from respiratory/bug. I'm betting amoxicillin will clear it up. I knew I was sick and had to take a break from systemic treatment but I was able to start appoints to clear some of these annoying medical things up. Lung Dr. tomorrow. Haven't seen one since diagnosis 3 years ago. Waiting on insurance approval for a urologist. Had one in Boone but not her in Palm Coast.
@mara51506 You make me feel guilty that I do not have the cooking skills like you do. You sure hit the protein, etc. elements needed .
In pockets for scans and all your needs.

@tanya_djamila I am so sorry your DH has his own cancer to deal with and you GD dealing with heart surgery. In all of your pockets for sure. I am glad you found some of my cooking tasting good. I like to hear that. I like posting stuff I like but also am honest if something does not taste good as well.
@chicagoan I am sorry you are dealing with illness of the lungs and such a sore throat, I hope the drugs chases it out of your system quickly.

good morning Everyone, I’mreding thru and getting the gist of what tou are all going thru
. @irishlove i totally empathize with you and many of or days are hard to deal with. My DH has dealt with kidney stones, He had 12 and had lithotripsy done to zap them away. After all those lithotripsies he had online mor big one that he would never pass anyway, the the asshole urologist kept pressuring him for surgery, After the last lithotripsy never broke up the stone.I did damage a blood vessel that was veery painful Andi several weeks recovery. So his Cardiologist recommended he see a Nephrologist in stead of that greedy urologist, who always pushes surgeries an “rororooter “ work The Nephrologist is wonderful.he sees him one every 6 months.. He told my DH no mor lithotripsies for you and now, every time that urologist sends DH for scan he alwas lies and ells him the ston grew an a new one is there too. But DH is wis to this jerk uro guy., because the Nephrologist told him his blood work first came back “kidney failure”, which he said this was only the damaged blood vessel from the lithotripsy.. He also put DH on a medication that blocks any new formation of stones.. It’s expensive but it’s called Potassium Citrate which is an enzyme my DH dowsn’t prodduce. Which causes new stones to form. Once he went a whole month without filling the Script and a new ones started forming that the Nephrologist said don’t worry. It’s so small you’ll pass it.. so now DH takes that script religiously and knows from his Nephrologists scans there are no new ones.. Unlike what the asshole urologist is always pushing🙄
@tanya_djamila I’m thinking of you and your DH deaaly wigh his liver cancer. I’m so sorry to read this Peayers gpong out for you sweet girl.
@chicagoan , I empaathie with you. I’ve been dealing with ll this too and it’s exhausting.
🥰@mara51506 I love the pic of your super kitty with the towel around his shoulders🩵🐱
saying Hi to everyone else. I’ve been feeling like crap all week with lung pain & coughing. I went for NM Bone scan & CT on Tuesday. A long day when you don’t feel well.. Sunday I’m going for an MRI, Of spine & pelvis. I’m so frustrated because the results have not shown up ye on My Chart Ugghh😫

@shanagirl I am so sorry you are going through so much and are in my daily prayers. It is hard to go to tests when you feel so bad and then not to get quick results. Growl! I totally understand about your DH kidney stones and the fight with his urologist. My DH has been battling kidney stones for 50 years. He had his first surgery not long after we were married and has been on medicine ever since. Fortunately he had a good urologist who put him on medicine even way back then although fortunately medicine and treatment has improved since then. He has been managing his treatments for a long time. He rarely has problems anymore. All three of my kids passed stones in their late teens so we know there is a genetic component somewhere perhaps relating to the lack of the enzyme. It is not from me since fortunately I have not had to face that battle.
@tanya_djamila Your family has been hit hard too and you are on my prayer list. I am sorry for the dx of both your DH and GD.
@chicagoan I hope the antibiotics do their job and you can get better so you can function, get back on treatment, and enjoy some summer.
This morning as I awoke and was walking to the toilet my bladder let loose and I wet all over myself and the floor. It was a total surprise as I had no sense of urgency. I took a shower and cleaned up as much as possible but will have to return with a good mop and disinfectant as soon as I have some strength. I have been battling a UTI and yeast infection but this is ridiculous! Just when I was hoping today would be a good day! People have no idea what additional atrocities we go through!

Well, we had tornado weather in Ontario, sky had that green cast that scares me a bit yesterday. Did not notice anything here except the green sky and the repeated blaring warnings on my game phone. No damage that I can see.
Doing up some laundry, cold water as got a colourful shirt and am not looking to change the colour on other stuff. My new swiffer sweeper and reusable pads are coming today. Wanted something easy to fit under couch to sweep underneath on the regular then can choose to vacuum up later. I also have cooking prep I am thinking of doing.
I am thinking of doing up a box of kraft dinner, that has been done, kept aside the extra water in another container, have had two servings of kraft dinner, both with lentils, second smaller bowl had kraft dinner, beefless ground and 1/3 cup canned lentils. Added the noodles, lentils and beefless ground. Put in 1/3 cup of the sour cream and onion water reserved. Added some veggie crisp crumbles and ate them, they were really good.

@tanya_djamila Sorry to hear you and your family are all dealing with major health issues. I can’t imagine how frustrating it is to still be dealing with Osteonecrosis also! Cookie54- Thank you for the shout out. I was going to post later when I have more information. Here is my update so far. I had 3 Enhertu treatments, and we did a PET scan. Unfortunately, the PET showed no response from the Enhertu. My MO is taking my case to the tumor board this next week. I will know more after that.
Saying HI to all.
5 -
Saying many prayers for all the difficulties my MBC sisters are facing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. I feel I could list all of your names😢😢. Comfort and hugs.
Shana - I hear you about scan results. I had my scans on 6/5. Got the bone scan results in under 48 hrs but took 3 weeks for CT results to show up. And this is in a hospital with a medical school! Had a kidney CT done at a competitor hospital and got the results in under 24 hrs. Go figure. Thankfully all results are stable.
Very frustrated with back pain - had SI joint steroid injections at beginning of the month. Only lasted 3 weeks. Scheduled to have the facet joints done in lumbar area and am wondering if it’s worth it for 3 weeks of relief. Steroid injections used to last a couple months and now down to 3 weeks.
Here for pocket duty for all with upcoming tests.

@candy-678 ugh i’m so sorry to hear that you haven’t seen any response from Enhertu.. I can only imagine how disappointing that is. Well we will hold onto faith that there are great minds coming together at the tumor board meeting to come with another plan for you… sending big hugs your way💕
@goldensrbest sorry you’re still struggling with the back issues. I hope the facet joint injections do the truck. I understand how debilitating back issues can be go through with my husband all the time.🤞🏻❌⭕️

I missed yesterday's post, had part of it then cat jumped up on me and lost it. I was having an overwhelmingly tired day so other than budget boosting gaming and watching of ads, not too much got done.
I am presently doing laundry, need to haul both washers out of tub and think I will take the swiffer spray to get stuff off bottom of tub, not sure if have energy to lift out the pair of them right now but cannot clean tub without removal of both machines and the drain hoses leave dirty water behind in the tub, no lifting attempts until I either eat or sleep some more. Have to get up earlier tomorrow to book Paratransit. Was lucky yesterday as I booked a trip home only 90 mins after appointment but before I started down the worry train, decided to phone Paratransit and rebook pick up for an hour later instead. Easy enough to wait for ride in the hospital and would rather wait in hospital vs outside.
Next week we get into the stupid hot and humid weather, talking humidex of 115 F here in southern ontario. I will be comfy, my window AC goes ridiculously cold and I use a fan to bring down the hall. The split AC is fussy, it runs for a while then runs out of refrigerant. I am OK with that, easy enough to cool down the house at night and shut window since it will feel 90 still. I also don't go out unless have to. Garbage and appointments. Gave up the whole taking the Paratransit places because it was eating up money, just prefer being home and getting delivery instead for groceries and going to appointments.
Not sure on meals, am planning on getting rid of pantry stuff that is years old that I will not use. Need to eat through the unopened stuff, turn stove top stuffing into a bread crumb vibe and use them as a crunchy thing to add to stuff instead of chips, tossing out some chips that have and sub in the stove top stuffing bread crumbs as a crunch. Also debating getting rid of beans from my diet. I find the lentils and rice for example make for a good meal. The canned lentils are really all I use so thinking can donate or dispose of other beans and stuff I will not use. I need to start looking at getting rid of stuff. I have 4 brooms, going to swap out brooms, keep villeda, sweeper vac and the dustpan that came with one of the brooms I bought.
I did wind up having a couple chicken and veg mini pot pies, I added a hashbrown and some lentils and peppers, given all stuff heating up I did also add frozen pepper slices, I cooked on high for 6mins 30 seconds. It was really good. Added sour cream and onion seasoning and caesar and bacon dressing as the binder. Was honestly really good and simple.

@candy-678 It must be so frustrating to learn that the Enhertu did not work after the misery it put you through. Will be interested in learning what the tumor board recommends. Maybe Xeloda would be an option? I thought that was good for liver mets.
The anti-biotics are working for me. I no longer have a sore throat. I still have a raspy voice from laryngitis but I can live with that.
Best wishes to everyone dealing with frustrating health issues/side effects and the upcoming heat wave.
5 -
Good wee hours of the morning. Hope everyone is sleeping well and pain free as possible.
Caught up on everyone's post and I have to say my heart goes out to everyone. It's kinda sad that we just don't seem to enjoy one day of our lives without medical issues that are so serious. I'm weary. Partly due to oppressive heat and MS related problems. I think I give up on a dentist. Do you think Gorilla glue would work by pouring some onto the molar as a sealant?? Just kidding, but I don't have $2000 to pay for out of network treatment. DH had to have 4 or 5 front uppers removed and just received his partials. $5000 with insurance! I have to wait till after July 27th anyway, so I'll keep trying.
I wish I knew how to post pictures of my front garden. I'll just ask you to use your imagination of what it looks like. I have 4 bird feeders staggered out front. Mostly squirrels partake of the seed, but they are fun to watch, so I don't mind too much. DH put a swing up, typical porch swing but mounted to a trellis. So we started training the confederate jasmine to grow up the trellis. May take some time for good results. Passion flower is making it's own viney way to attach to the wrought iron gating. Ah now for my favorite, gardenias. Last two just didn't like where we planted them. This one loves the new spot. We always call our gardenias "Arthur 1, 2,3 etc. Thru the years of living in FL (On and Off) I think this is Arthur 6. Beautiful growth and super gorgeous, fragrant flowers. I Carried them on my wedding day July 4, 1979. Bird discarded sunflower seeds have grown into magnificent sunflowers. One is a huge bushy grouping of many smaller sunflower heads. Makes me smile.
I hope you all have the blessings of flowers to enjoy. In pockets for scans and life's needs.
Irishlove
7 -
@irishlove I am sure the swing and garden are lovely, maybe someone else can show you how to post it.
My MRI was fine but was super hungry when finally got picked up. I did enjoy the music piped in from speakers, hard to hear but got the beat apart from the regular MRI noises. Was also a quicker scan, they gave the contrast first which made the actual MRI shorter. No reaction. Not to worried re the results. Figuring out that worrying before a fact is just too depressing for an anxious sort like me. Thursday will get the results, should be fine, if not find out next steps later. Will also need to book rides for friday afternoon but that will happen tomorrow.
I slept fine, had to lower the AC as the bedroom gets quite cold, works well, I bring the cold to the living room via a fan on the dresser. It will be interesting what the next week of hot and humid weather brings into my apartment. I did have shut the living room window.
Had a couple weird meals, 2 tiny pizzas and a burrito with diced potatoes. Was actually really good, supper was canned turkey and put part of a stove top stuffing package, added random water and microwaved it, stuffing was good, I used queso as a binder. It was quite enjoyable. Tom.orrow will need more beans to be chopped and put in containers and of course lentils.
My cats were bothering me to sit, missed my posting this morning so hope all had a good day, in pockets for everyone
5 -
@chicagoan Glad you're feeling better😊
@mara51506 Ugh yep the same oppressive heat is coming down to us also. I will be limiting my out activities also, may take a ride to the beach to get relief in the ocean. Glad MR went well, hope you're feeling less fatigued this week.
@irishlove The dental procedures are sooo expensive, nobody has decent dental insurance anymore. By any chance do you have a dental university nearby? We have Unn. of Penn and they give a very steep discount, just a thought if that can be an affordable option perhaps. Glad you are finding joy in your garden, it sounds lovely.
In all pockets here for appointments and improving health issues this week🤞💕

Good morning to all, and sending especially good wishes to those who are in the range of that heat dome. Stay cool (you all already are way cool 😉), and know that I am in pockets for all. (I've just been kind of wiped out lately and not able to post to as many individually as I would like, hence this collective hello and hope you are doing as well as possible.) I think of and appreciate everyone on this thread so very much!

@cookie54 less fatigue, today am booking last appointment of the week. Got an echo. Was a busy week, Sunday MRI, Monday booking RO appointments, those results arrive Thursday so Paratransit booked Monday. Now booking for a Friday MRI, get a week off so that is good. Yes it will be hot for Canada Day on wednesday.
Yes, same heat and humidity here, will feel 115 here. Staying home and avoiding all that nonsense. I do not wait outside for the Paratransit, stay in apartment til it arrives and stay inside at the hospital til it arrives so really not much heat for me. Window in living room shut for now and got fan throwing out air from the bedroom, it does a really good job bringing it to the living room. One thing I want to save for is to have a window fan for the bedroom because it is actually warmer in the winter months than summer, no plans to keep the AC in window, may keep it in one of my pink large containers to keep dust out. No point DB taking it anywhere else. Still using my powerful little blower, like a leaf blower except small, blow out the dust on a regular basis. Have not found anything on the lint filter which is impressive, giving a good blow is good as well.
Made the booking for Friday appointment which is good. Need laundry, little bit of floors to be done get the big box of cat litter and food for cats as well. No shopping needed for me except shredded cheese and garlic spread which is a nice mild flavour and 4 more cans of lentils. I may stop with the beans as canned lentils are perfect. 30 bucks for the delivery and tip but it would be 60 if I tried to meet the 35 dollar minimum and decided that just does not make sense. Already set the payments for this order at the bank. Works well for me and the cost to meet the minimum is double the amount I just spent to get what I actually need. I still budget boost as well, I mostly watch ads on an app called just play and play at a game and trigger those ads. Easy, no million dollars but more money than I had before. I have also realized I save no money on the litter and food for cats on Amazon because although it is free delivery, they make me double up like have to buy 2 litters and 2 foods, does not make much sense to me, better to get on delivery from Walmart. Stick with my TV channels on primevideo.
My first meal will include rice, will make that up first, probably 1/3 to 1/2 cup white rice, add seasoning to it, probably some taco and garlic butter type. Make it up separate, once cooled put into a bowl, add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of canned lentils and same amount of beefless ground and some cheese, put the precooked rice, lentils, beefless ground and cheese in the microwave for maybe three minutes, add binders later. Still working through condiments from Mc D, got a fair amount of condiments to go through so might add some mac sauce to give a zip flavour through the primarily queso and spice, very small amounts of each. I will post on the meal.
EDIT 1 Meal 1 included the 1/2 cups of rice, added garlic and taco seasoning to the water rice was prepared in. Once that was done, added to the large bowl, ate up rest of canned turkey, 1/2 cup canned lentils and dumped the rice in. Added shred cheese, just a handful and mixed that in. Queso and garlic spread added to top, heated for 4 mins in microwave. Took out and simply mixed together. It was super creamy and delicious. Fairly nutritious, decent protein too between shredded cheese and lentils. I had one of my many peanut butter granola bars for dessert. It was DELICIOUS.
MEAL 2 Just a bigger beef meat pie, has beef cubes, gravy, potato, carrot and peas. Heated in the microwave and added caesar with bacon dressing, not too much since there is gravy with a bit of salt. It was really good too.
Anyway, stay cool if you can and are hot and have a great day, in pockets for everyone as well. My order of the 2 cheeses, garlic spread and 4 cans of lentils will arrive between 2 and 4 so that will be good.

@mara51506 and any other Canadians out there-Happy Canada Day!
2 -
@chicagoan Thank you for the Canada Day greeting. I was not out, mostly watched my PM make a speech in front of a packed crowd, made me feel patriotic. That was nice.
I slept OK, have my MRI results this afternoon. Not worried, decided it was not beneficial to worry about results as it would not make any difference. Take what I can get.
My last appointment this week is an echo, Paratransit already booked. Hospital called and told me to leave early since there is a lot of construction, I explained I booked it sufficiently early, have no control over arrival time. I found the person I spoke with rude but perhaps having a bad day so I did not return the rudeness.
Planning shorter meals in microwave, need to use up eggs so thinking of putting couple of hashbrowns, 2 eggs, bit of cheese and lentils for the first meal. That sounds good to me. Will post later about it. Thinking my frozen peppers could be good inside.
EDIT 1 I did make a microwave 2 egg, cheese and beefless ground, lentils in there as well, did not add the hashbrowns. Forgot to but figured I would be too full. Seasonings were the sour cream and onion seasoning and the garlic and butter dry seasonings. Binder was garlic mayo. I definitely enjoyed it.I must say I froze due to AC since I need to shut the door to keep cats out. I will remember to turn temp up in bedroom next time, turn down when it is cooling living room. Only 80 F in living room which I do not find uncomfortable in the day, keep split AC on as a fan overnight. It is not humid in the house at all and that makes a good comfort. I do want to open windows but not at this point, needs to be cooler outside. Soon as it is window in living room will be thrown wide open.
EDIT 2 Had a worker over at my place, apparently my toilet was leaking and now need to get the toilet fixed and subfloor as well. May be back tomorrow morning, said that was fine long as I can use the toilet, he said was fine by him.
LAST EDIT My MRI was clear, no new necrosis showing up. Was done almost two hours early so got home earlier which was good.
I hope all have a good day, stay cool if you are in the hot humid zone as much as possible and I am in everyone's pocket who may need me.
6 -
@mara51506 Great news on the stable MRI! Also glad that you are still able to use the toilet until it's fixed..phew! Hot as ever here today over 100 and humid. I was in and out in the yard with Buster and that's about it. Happy belated Canada Day.
2 -
Mara - Yippee on MRI results. Happy belated Canada Day as well!. Heat finally broke here in Wisconsin with some much needed rain. Hope everyone is surviving in this heat wave.
