A plastic surgeon was not available for my cousin's mastectomy. She has been using a crocheted "knocker" for years, and the whole experience was so traumatic for her that she has had no interest in getting further surgery. Never thought of getting lefty taken. She fed my babies better than righty, who was troublesome almost from the time she budded. Good riddance after so many biopsies.
I missed the dog-show!!

My Dalmatian passed at about 12 years. He had glaucoma, ended up blind in both eyes. But he got around fine in the house and in the yard. Only when I called to him while outside did he get disoriented, I learned quick to just go get him. Then I noticed a swollen lymph node in a hind leg. Turned out to be cancer. I did put him through some treatments, but should have probably stuck with steroids. He was my love bug. He’s buried in my back yard, wrapped up in his comforter, with a few toys I think.
My driveway was postponed again. Big storms hitting now, but earlier was just a short rain burst. I kind of expected it. We’re now shooting for 9/9, fingers crossed. Right now 30 miles north of us is the bad storm - rain, lightening, hail and a tornado touched down. I think my area will be spared. It’s dark & windy and maybe we’ll get some rain.I spent today dusting everything, downstairs, upstairs and the front porch too. I took the robot vacuum upstairs with me, after it recharged from the downstairs & porch. Pledge & Windex were my assistants. How it gets so dusty I don’t know. Vacations back to back really didn’t help the house, but they did help me!
