@chicagoan - I had the best intentions to pass along your regards on the call today, and then we didn't return from Fort Worth until 20 minutes before the call and it escaped me. You should drop in on the message board for the Stage IV Zoom calls - I'm sure people would love to hear from you.
@candy-678 - good to hear from you. Hopefully your GI issues will settle enough for you to get a handle on managing them.
@cookie54 - I'm glad your cellulitis(?) is responding to meds. It sounds very uncomfortable.
@mara51506 - as ever, you seem to have a tight grip on managing your days -appointments, transportation, and a variety of meals. I don't like to eat the same thing too frequently (except chocolate milk 😉) and you have fresh ideas every day.
@threetree - good news on scans! Sending a little extra energy your way.
So, as promised, our short trip to Fort Worth was to celebrate my daughter's engagement - which I knew about before she did, lol, and managed to not give it away early. The engagement was a surprise for her, followed by a surprise gathering of friends and family afterwards. I guess it's a good thing she said yes. Lol. I'm very happy for her.
II'm going to try to get my annual vaccinations tomorrow. I'm a little behind schedule this year, but I want to take care of it before I travel next week. Hoping for the usual mild side effect of feeling a little run down for just a day, then getting on with it.
Love and hugs to everyone in Mel's Living Room.

@seeq I hope your vaccinations go well tomorrow. I have been procrastinating myself this year but fear my PCP may want me to get them when I see her next week. It is just a little rough adding Taxol to the mix.
@threetree You and I seem to parallel a lot. Congratulations on your scans yesterday. I had mine today and my results showed a favorable treatment response with similar to slightly decreased metabolic activity of metastatic disease. So the Taxol is doing its job.
@candy-678 and @cookie54 I will continue to pray for your improvement too.
