Hi Since the standard of care for early TNBC has changed and now includes Keytruda (Pembrolizumab) with chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant setting, followed by Keytruda alone for 9 cycles in the adjuvant setting, I was wondering if everyone on the current regimen could share their experiences? How has it affected you? Have…
Hello, I’m curious what the community here has experienced in terms of time from diagnosis to start of treatment. I am concerned about accessing treatment and delays where I live. Dec 9, 2023: found lump Jan 19, 2024: ultrasound and xray, suspicious Feb 1, 2024: core needle biopsy, clip inserted, additional ultrasound and…
Hi. My 30 year old wife's been diagnosed with TNBC. Unfortunately our treatment right from the start has not gone as per the standard algorithm. In fact her 4cm lump was determined to be a fibroadenoma and excised by a general surgeon, and it turned out to be tnbc with LVI, ki-67 65-70%, necrosis present, closest margin…
Hi all, I am hoping someone can help. I was diagnosed with invasive, aggressive, triple negative breast cancer in May 2023 with some micrometastasis in 3 out of 4 lymph nodes. Have had surgery, chemo and radiation therapy. Apparently 5% of the cancer was oestrogen positive and my oncologist if leaving the option to take…

I’m finishing up NAC chemo 4 rounds of a/c, 6 rounds of Tchp, to be followed by a double mastectomy and rads. Did any of you have chemo after your surgery/rads? I know it depends on the results of the surgery pathology report but just trying to get a handle on what is to come. Could you share your experiences?
I've been searching everywhere to find a peer to peer group, to maybe find someone who has been diagnosed with my same form of breast cancer as I figure out what treatment path to take. I was diagnosed with TNBC on September 18th. I have since been on a whirlwind ride of getting doctors to respond etc. Here are my details:…
Breast Cancer Vaccine Update Dec 7, 2023 Dr. Justin Johnson explains early results from three small studies on a vaccine for triple-negative breast cancer. Dr. G. Thomas Budd, an oncologist, and Dr. Justin Johnson, an immunologist, are collaborating on research looking at a vaccine to prevent triple-negative breast cancer.…
I was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. Because my tumor is aggressive and fast growing they flipped the treatment around from doing surgery first and starting chemo instead. I have made my decision from the choices I was giving which basically was double mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery. I…
