    OK u'r forgiven right now--I will have a champagne cocktail TY--I just ike that word. My SIL just popped his head in and sad Leslie is in her lady days now so watch out. I'm stayin away for shoa. So make that 2 cocktails ( love that word) Oh well I digress--had a quiet Sunday--my sisters is getting herself organized for her 2 week trip--we've never been separated that long ever. Waaaaa--another cocktail pweeze--need my strenghth for a tendah soonly. I likey this drink I haben't had dis 4 a lon time. Just took my pain meds so they will mix niselyest wit me drnk, It's a smalldrnk so I have another por favor--gracias--fast servment.
    Der feel reaxed now--stayin awa from Leslie big time. De lounge is a litle empty but it's stil lite here YaY finally not so dark so early.

    Do you add a splash of sumtin to your bubbly? I like champagne with a splash of peach schnapps......sooo yummy and tastes like a peach! I was thinking (and that is a challenge in itself)....that maybe you can call one of the loungettes while your sister is on vacay. BUT...where will she be? If in the US, then you still could talk to her every day, right? But lean on us if you want to...we are all here for each other!!!!

    Kat I've got the red carpet on now so far I've seen some pretty dresses I would look FAB in hahahahaha I guess pain pills and chanpagne can do that to me--oh a cube of sugar goes in it. that makes it a  (here we go with the word I like) cocktail. At least it did when I was bartending. Long time ago. LOL

    Oh Joey has converted his WII into a full computer on his screen he figured it out how to do it so he said he'd hold a teaching class if I want to know how to do it--BRAT

    Oh, with all the talk today about the step-grandpa getting his DL renewed, and my parents getting theirs renewed at 92 and 96, I have to share this that Karen sent me today...and its SO true. I know my parents always worried that someday they would not have a drivers license!!!

    I've sure gotten old!
    I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that
    make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation, hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends.


    But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

    Kat dat was funny---but so so true. When I worked on the Drivers side zi gave eye tests and did the pictures and there was an old man in his 90's that passed his test when he sat down waiting for me to call his name he was so excited and his wife was saying calm down--when I called his name and he got up quickly he had a heart attack and died right by me--quickly and the best part was the other people saying how long will this take I'm on my lunch hr. That's when I really learned alot about people and this poor man never got his license and he was so happy too.

    Oh halle Berry always looks beautiful.

    Hiney, (I mean Wahine...ha!) I did talk to Shannon. We are like 15-20 mins close! I will scope out your friend's karaoke too. I don't think it's a dive. Loved the story about the driver's license. For a minute I thought it was you that fought prostate cancer. :-/



    Oh Cami, that story is so sad. But he went out on a happy note. The DL means independence. My Mom has macular degeneration and my Dad was her driver. She has really gone down hill. Aside from being married 62 years, when he died she also lost her independence. So sad.



    Me needs a dwink!!! Still don't have a dang cork screw!! Ha! Really, one year ago, I was taking care of my dying father. He died 13 days after being diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Woah...You are very lucky to have both of your parents still Wahine.

    Oh, thats so sad, Beckers. Does your mom live close enough to you that you are able to help her? Yes, I feel very fortunate to still have my parents. ANd they live alone, and do all their own cleaning, cooking, etc. One thing I have noticed lately is sometimes my mom is not as perfectly dressed as she used to be. I may have to help her organize her clothes so she wears her nice stuff again. It does take a lot of time trying to get them to all their dr appts, and help with errands, and stuff they need help with when I am there. Usually computer related, or phone calls,etc. I just got them to move here permanently at the end of summer, so it did take a long time to find all new drs for them and get them seen quickly. That would be AWESOME if you get to see my friend Sheila. She does not know that my screen name is Wahine, so you would have to say my real name Kathy.

    OK, still need to finish watching this Oscar Meyer stuff....

    awww, hugs Becca. I cant imagine losing a parent. I have half lost mese mom to alzheiMARS and dis sad. But I ken still hug her and dat means soooo muchly to mese. I will head ober to de HTL chapel and sez some prayers for yer mommy. it hurts to see dem suffer, mese feels ya.

    Mese binwatchin de oslars or emmanies or whateber dey called. Mese not saw dese here movies. Mese in a cloud. I see one movie all year. And mese at coporn with butter. De mobie me saw not being talked about on dis oscar night.
