Cam the wedding is September 28th.........trying to pin DD down to make some decisions is like trying to catch a hummingbird!.......lol.......believe me when I say there have been loads of discussions and not any decisions ......hopefully that will be rectified over the next few weeks as I need to start the sewing. I just hate it if things are left to the last minute.
NM still ordering the DTD......that one sounds like a right goodun as we say down under.....lol......mmmmmm......me thinks I'm gonna need a lot of those in the coming months......or maybe not as I really do need get things done.......lol.

Lori, DD wants the wedding decore to be shabby shique so I'll be sewing all the table runners and chair bows and doing the decorations. My sister is a florist and her gift to DD is all her flowers including bouquets, buttonholes and corsages. Once all those things are done I will need to make my own outfit as I have lymphadema in my right arm and underarm so no commercially made clothes fit......grrrrr! They don't make the armholes big enough to accommodate the swelling........not sure yet what it will be. I had thought that if I can loose enough weight ( yeah I'm on that treadmill again) I may wear a beautiful green silk sari that my girls gave me a few years ago for my birthday. I have only worn it once and that was for that particular birthday dinner but I really need to be at least 20lbs lighter for it to look any good. Oh! The decisions that have to be made.......lol.

Lori u picked a good tendah to share u'r time with, and we all know when u'r done u'll share him with all of us. Lori I have a goofy back now (never did) 2 discx that are like shredding and the lower vertae is doing the same--(personally I think 2 yrs of chemo did a number on it) but now one will say that but now one Dr. said he saw cancer there. But I don't think so actually, but another Dr. said it was inoperable for me???That why the test they know exactly what I have they are just checking for cancer now--I know I keep repeating my self on this cuz I hate that awful tube even when I take something I freak out and I've been in that damn tube a bunch of times too. I will be taking stronger pain meds at least--but it seems like I have to just live with that--just hoping there is no cancer--that's all.
And orange I feel so bad for u gals who have all this pain cuz of fills or whatever it is. It doesn't seem to go away easily I hope u have good meds to help at least.
Well Chrissy that what u get for being so creative and having so much talent. After all the less u know, the less anyone expects of u. I've lived by that all my life. But really that is a lot of work but the dress u described sounds lovely, but is wonderful to be able to make u'r own. I know what u mean one arm feels fine in something and the other feels like 2 sizes to small.LOL What I have done is get a dress that sleeveles, wait I never show my arms, but I have wraps that cover to the elbow and of course has sparkle so it livens up whatever dress I have or I have worn a matching shrug that covers to the elbow too and this way it's almost anytime of year--but I don't wear my sleeve or hand stuff then--Since I can not sew or make anything I've learned to improvise and it works for me. U've got lotssa work to do--u better have a couple of drinks to get u going--everyday of course.
Oh I hope Dorky is doing al right.
Lori we did get a lot of snow this time more came last night--but it will warm up soon so it will melt.

You have probably been on anti-hormonals for a long time…the way I understand it, we need hormones to keep our bones strong…so degeneration wud undoubtly happen if no drugs to help it…like Xgeva and others. Wese will b der wif you on Fri to help you…keep you laughing so’s you don’t freak out in da tube…you can count on us girlfriend!!

WooHooo love your DOTD NM, the Lost Is Found...soooooo appropos! And then look what Lori found!!! And she isn't sharing??? And she isn't even around anymore??? Mese tinks she snuck off wid de dwinks and de ting she found!!! AND mese hears some noises at the back, dark corner of the HTL, ya know,where that comfy bed is??? LOL... Well NM you shouldn't even try to keep up wid mese....wese iz going to Ireland and Madeira, Portugal next....in a few days actually...will get to see Bernie and her Dh on our way back to Ireland from Madeira...will spend 3 nites in Dublin, but not staying on the way over (just 5 hrs in the airport, before the next 12 hr leg of the trip!). THEN....I just reserved annudder twip today....going to Paris and Prague the end of May.. yippeeeeeeee! Was too good a deal to pass up, and included hotels w/ bkfst and flights from our home town to Paris, then to Prague, then back home.
I spent ALL DAY making my turkey soup...I swear I put everything in it....had 2 big soup pots on the stove, full. Yest when one exploded, half the broth went everywhere, as the glass lid flew up and back down again. Then the stove (glass top) didn't work....but after pulling it out and trying to get all the broth out, it seemed to work, so put it back in place (slide-in). SO we get all the broth out of the fridge today to try to finish the soup and the darn stove didn't work AGAIN (its just 2 yrs old). So flustratin. BUT when DH checked the plug at the baseboard behind it, it was loose...one of those big plugs and we had the big outlet for it put in when it was installed 2 hrs ago. So he used a hammer to bang it in....LOL....so far so good, but afraid to put the bottom drawer back in, as yest when we put it back in, it stopped working again. Must be hitting the outlet and plug? Weird....so we just ate, very early for us, but the soup was finally ready and oh so good. SO will have happy hour in a bit...jest doing things back-ass-wards I guess!
Big HUGS to all, SO GLAD our Chrissy is BACK! I had sent out an APB a couple of times for ya, too...we all mizz you too muchliest when you are a no-show. I thought the wedding was still a yr away...time flies! I like Cami's ideas of the wrap, and wear sleeveless....if you don't have time to make a new dress. I hate to show my arms, anyway, and I don't have LE.

And this time its just me and my DH!!! Will be neat to meet Sinead too! Hope her pregnancy is going well!

OH MY multi-linguist here! LOL. Love *reading* your accents, Cami!!! I hate all your back pain...I forget..when is your MRI? My degenerating discs hurt me all the time, but it not cancer, I just hurt them from working too hard. I swear, at 92 and 96, my parents have less pains than we do!!!

OK I love the pussy--cat--Kat---U have the same back I do? OMG it hurts so much--I'm new with this back thing I have to get used to it and I have a hernia in te front so I hurt all around LOL--Now hurting back and hernia--u'd think I at least vacuumed in my life --I've done nothing--I am the epitamy of lazy, I invented the motionless word, I started a whole group teaching how to be lazy without anyone noticing (that was a work thing) And u'r right my parents didn't have bad backs, arthritis, carpel tunnel, numbness, tingling nothing they eventually died but it wasn't serious, well my mom was, but my dad just died. but they were both old- At my age they were going to parties every week=end and drinkin and going all over. I can barely walk and my dad ate whatever, never exercised, drank alot, smoked most of his life--my mom took better care of herself died younger, never smoked ate better hardly drank and she was still 88. chit what happened. Oh well can't change much now hahaha--Oh and BTW only one Dr. saw cancer--and he's not a cancer Dr. so what does he know anyway. But when all this is done and the know I don't have cancer I get to have stronger pain pills that I'm not allergic to--I''m so happy. But they still have my diarrhea to figure out--that has gotten on the back burner cancer trumps chit.

Good morning, Loungettes! Happy Thirstday! The week is winding down. I've started adding a coffee break in the afternoon so I don't end up the day feeling totally pooped out and it worked well yesterday. Now let's see if it works 2 days in a row!
Chrissy--You could always do what my Mom always used to do when I was dithering about something--she'd tell me I had until a certain date or time (depending on the decision) and then she was going to make it and once she started it can't be changed! Some people (like me) simply need a deadline. As I remember it worked really well. I'm sure your DD will have a wonderful wedding . Are you gonna post pics when it's all over?
Goldie--You don't know Mr. Payne's Purple House? How could you not? Actually, it's a fairly obscure children's book. Probably not even in print anymore. It's about being different, probably not pc anymore!
ORLA--yesterday it went back and forth between snow and rain, and the rain won. Most of the snow is melted now, although there is still some on the ground. Everyone got excited 'cause the sun came out for a nanosecond yesterday! Now the wind is blowing and it's chilly again. Sigh.Cammy--You have my admiration. I'm not sure I could ever get into that tube and you've done it how many times now? Praying for a good report after this upcoming trip through the tube.
Mema---I would so like to see some sun next week. After the clocks spring ahead I'll be struggling to get out of bed, but it will be light long enough to take Sadie for a walk after work, and some exercise would be very good for her (and for me, but we won't discuss that!). It has started blowing here, gusts up to 30 mph expected today. I do like the sound of the wind in the trees. . .
Wahine--You do so much traveling, I am so jealous! Maybe someday I'll get to travel, too, maybe. Right now I've got to keep working. So just keep posting stories and pics and I'll travel vicariously through you! You and your poor stove! Sometimes technological stuff isn't as helpful as it's made out to be, is it? Oh yes Kathy, I will share. So exciting for all of your travels. The only time I have been out of the country was to Canada, and that was when I lived in MI, so just across the river. And then to Mexico, we would drive down to the border, and walk over to get Darrell some meds, and then hightail it back. Ah, and your folks are going with you to Paris.
Cami, you are so right about how people lived longer but still smoked, drank, no exercise, etc.
Mid day coffee NM? You need a cocktail girl! If I did know about Mr. Payne’s purple house, I have forgotten. Kathy always makes us feel like we are traveling with her, I just love it. And you are another one that doesn’t like the “tubes”? Been awhile since I have been in one, but they don’t bother me.

Good Morning all my special gals.
NM u just started dring coffee in the afternoon> OMG that was my staple at work. We had 2 coffee pots at work stron and stronger--We all lpped it up all day. That's when I started redrinking coffee to stay away--especially while people were talking to me--my head would hit the counter, I'd fall asleep so I knew I had to do something And I don't know purple crayon at all (book) I do know aout purple crayons and books just now that one. And don't admire me for anything I like no tests or even Drs. And the TUBE reminds me of horror Oh Lori I admir u for being able to easily do it---my sister too. U people are unbelievable and why does everyone have ba backs---we don't have them in my family--so whatever reason ??? Well none one has ever worked hard physically, maybe that's why--again a stupid thing, but u guys never complain about pain and I'm always complaining. See how wimpy I am.
Lori more snow---we're already stsrting ti warm up a little so ours will be melting soon and boy do we need the moisture--so we can still use more--but this weekend will be rain, maybe. How's it going with the salt stuff???
Chrissy I can't wait to see what u make--it's so exciting to make u'r own patterns and clothing--U know Sept. is going to come fast especially when u have so much to do. And BTW I really like seeing u'r name in the morning for u'r posts--we all missed u.

Well all my thoughts got distracted as so often they do and I have no idea what I was going to say.
