Glad we have some visual now...I think our bar is going to start being "standing room only" once the word gets out about underpants and his understudy. Way to go! Okay guys, snap to it, lets get all these gals a drink!!!

i think i need to start a support group for ladies addicted to new zealand sauvignon blancs.

i have fallen hard for them.

louis martini 2006 cab is tasting great and available for about 10 a bottle.

but what am i to do about my love affair with those new zealand whites?

drink more is the answer i came up with...Laughing

I think I heard one of the guys say they also do massages. Think I will take him up on that, maybe over by the fireplace!

Goldie, was the massage any good?

I think that I'll have a bushwhacker and check out the action at the pool table for a few minutes, see if I can win a few quarters.

    Hi drinkin' buds ~

Lori - I think you found us some EXCELLENT Underpants!  And I think they should give US a massage (and drinks, of course)

I sucked at pool last night!  First time I've played in years.  BF Mark's daughter's 25th birthday was last night so we took her and her BF to dinner then to a big bar that has about 20 pool tables.  I think I could play pool everyday and never improve.  I can make a game last for about 45 minutes.  I really get my money's worth LOL.

I was never much on box wine, but my budget has forced me to try it, and I gotta say, the Black Box Shiraz isn't bad.  I'll have to try the "box in the luggage" thing.

So - there's all this news about the State Dept issueing a travel warning to Mexico, but I think that's mostly around the borders, not Cozumel.  Plus, I'll be in 40-70 ft of water much of the time, so I guess if they want to find me THAT bad, then they can come looking for me.  Actually I am working about 60 hours a week right now....being abducted by a Mexican Drug Cartel sounds pretty good some days Cool

It was so warm here today, around 80.  Of course the wind was whipping but it made me want to drink a beer in a frosty glass, so guess what I'm having....

    Hope everyone is doing well.

    Cheers,

    Donna

hugggsssss to all!   Donna, your winds blew right on over to us--had windows and doors open to catch the spring smells/breeze--and closed up when the winds got to gale force!   It's all or nothing, it seems!  Love spring and after our horrible winter, hope we have a pleasant one!

sending you a PM re Cozumel.    Please take those alerts seriously, but you won't be in a hot zone and should be just fine!!!   You'll have a great trip!!!   Report in when you get home!!!!

I'm loving the reports on Bushwhackers, so that is a for sure on my list of drinks on next away place!!!

all--be well; stay safe; BOTTOMS UP!!!!

Well I must say, the massage was wonderful. But I opted to give him one. Wanted to rub my hands all over that well chizzled bod! I would now like to have one of those bushwhackers, think I would like to try the first one, with ice cream.

Taking my bushwhacher over to the pool table and putting my quarters (that I rolled "Underpants" for) on the table. I used to play pretty good, but haven't played in years! After that, think I'll slip over to the "pool bar". This bar is a pretty darn nice place! More like a resort! Perhaps we should come up with a name for it!

Donna, so good to see you girl! I know the 3 of you had a good time. The weather here the last few days has been real windy too. But that is the norm. It is blowing the pollen from the juniper trees and playing havoc with my allergies, of which I just aquired about 5 years ago. So nite time is a bit*h, to say the least. Hot flashes, sweats, sneezing, sniffling, itchy eyes and nose.........Underpants! Please hurry with that bushwhacker!       Sorry bout that.....Have a wonderful time in Coz, be safe and yes, report when you get back. Send me some pics. My son is coming to visit Sunday for a week, I am really looking forward to that. Enjoy that frosty beer.

big  s  i  g  h  pulling stool up close to bar and hunkering down...temp today has dropped from lovely--windows/doors open, to closing and turning up the thermostat!    grrrr--my daffodils are starting to bloom, but they've been through snow/ice before...For whatever reason, I am weary of this winter and wish it to be gone!  poof!!

Next couple of rounds are on me!!  Hoping someone comes along to keep me company--depressing to drink alone!!   huuugggggssssssssss, junie!

Pulling a bar stool up next to Junie. A sister shall NEVER drink alone!

Putting my arm around her shoulder for a gentle hug. "Pants" fix us up" "Can't have a depressed girl in this here bar, not allowed."

Enjoying a nice red Bordeaux I picked up in Brussels last week. Laughing

I bought some scotch in Scotland recently and I decided I don't like one of the bottles. WTF? I'm just going to have to give it away I guess.......unless one can cook with it???   Undecided

Cheers to all my drinkin' buds!

    Hey Buds~

J - you don't like one of the bottles as in you don't like the way it tastes or looks?

I think I already know the answer to that Smile  Mark LOVES what I refer to as "nasty scotch".  He loves the Islay peaty scotches, which to me just smells and tastes like a camp fire Tongue out  What scotch is it that you don't like?

I'm currently polishing off a bottle of Dancing Bull Shiraz.  Not bad for a $11 bottle.  I admit....I've drank more tonight than I should have..shame on me. I hope Underpants doesn't spank me for it Cool

Hope everyone is doing well.  I am trying to get phyched up for my Cozumel scuba trip.  I REALLY need to get away and decompress from the J-O-B.

    Cheers,

    Donna

HA! I buy my scotch duty free at the airport before my flight and since the rule is, "no drinking 8 hours before a flight" (stupid FAA!!!) well, I can't exactly taste test the scotch, ya know? So I go on what the description on the bottle is and/or what the sales person says. The one bottle just wasn't to my liking but I just may try it again. I've had Islay scotches and they are smoky and salty and I did drink a bottle of that (not all at once!!!) so I do drink all kinds of scotches. My current fave is still the Highland Park 18 year but they didn't have that last time so I opted for two others I'd never had before. I'll just enjoy my 2nd Bordeaux from France (by way of Brussels) and then re-try that scotch, which was banished to the basement!

CG, have fun on your scuba trip!!!

    Cheers!

    Hey Pants!

Let's start Friday night off right. I'd like to start you'all off with a hug and a round of whatever. The fire is burning great so I think that I'll have a Kahlua and Milk while we all howl at the moon.

I know there aren't many scotch drinkers here (maybe one other???) but I must recommend Johnny Walker BLUE label. Had some last night at a restaurant and all I can say is that IT is now my new fave - very smooth and actually drinkable neat.

    Cheers!
