Okay gals, bring out those tornado drinks again! Right now we are under tornado watches, with warnings all around us, and headed this way. Schools all closing early, and I had to postpone our glass installation (duh!). Junie, hope you didn't get bad weather last night or today. Hope everyone else is okay too!! Ridin' out the storm.....Thinking we need a storm shelter at the HTL, so will get the TT's right on it. Of course, totally stocked with booze and mixers!!!

That is a beautiful picture Lori! Good thing you weren't on the real Titanic. A company here, years ago, gave a similar name to their large pontoon boat with large enclosed room that they would have parties on...well....you guessed it...they were actually in the boat harbor when a wind shear happened, which sank the "Scitanic" and many perished. I'll never forget that, cause I always wondered why they gave it that name (sorta like jinxing it). But anyway, thanks for sharing that picture Lori....you both look terrific!!! Gotta sign off...bad weather is approaching quickly.....

Hey, Loungettes! I'm here, but tired, this was a get up at 4 am day for me. So glad I don't have to get up that early tomorrow. So many people at risk for tornados! Praying that everyone stays safe. A storm shelter is definately a good idea for the lounge.
Waheni--being born and raised on an island I can tell you that no self-respecting sailor would set foot on a boat named after or very much like one that sank--it's bad luck. I'm surprised they could find anyone to crew the Scitantic!
MrsNice--so sorry you're feeling achy and sore. If the percotini fountain doesn't help the Tenders can break out the dilaudid fountain, that usually works! A couple of those while soaking in the hot tub does wonders for the aches and pains.
I think we need to assign Chrissy her own personal tender to make sure she gets home ok!

Does anyone have a "work up the wazoo" recovery potion???? I am juggling abuot three simultaneous projects plus did an exploratory phone interview this AM. Made it the next step which is to do a face-to-face meeting about possible fit including potentially contract work. So back to the website to prepare.
Did I mention the other three balls I have in the air including an exploratory interview next week with a different firm. I am getting better at this. The point is to make it to the next step. Believe it or not a labor shortage here in Seattle in what I do, so a question of the right slot.
Anyway.....one to go Mrs Nice, so you will be DONE with the next round. Not that bad. This is from someone who had 12 dose dense rounds. If you can get out and walk, it helps mentally and physically.
Chrissy......I would be in an alcohol fog if I were waiting it out. So glad you are able to see the lighter side of things.
Beans......stay out of the wind. Also watch the wet leaves. I am saying this because I went flat on my butt last night, and this was before I had any wine.

Whew...Pau Hana Time...finally! Tired of being in the closet, w/all the survival stuff...had so many tornado warnings all afternoon...someone spotted one about a mile away from us, but so far, no damage that I have heard of. Looks like the midwest got it pretty bad! It amazes me that they can pinpoint each area at the minute the storm or tornado should hit....the doppler radar system was developed here, by a former weather guy. Sure is nice to know if you are in danger or not...plus they call our home if we are in the area that is about to be hit, since the entire county is under the alert, you know when to take cover (small subscription price)...well worth it!
Hope all you lounge ladies are doing well tonight! Sure has been quiet here at the HTL. Love the pics NM....cracked me up!!!!

My BS keeps saying to keep it to 1.5 servings a day...a serving being 4 oz....well heck..that is not likely when my hubby and I are enjoying a wine tasting or having a nice bottle over dinner. It is nothing for us to split a bottle over a nice dinner.
I figure with all the improvements I have made in my diet.....waaaay more fruits and veggies....and I have lost 29 lbs..... and I am exercising........I will cut down on drinking my wine, but I am not giving it up.

Went to discuss possibility of a wig today, not even sure if I will need it but wanted to just learn - well what I learned is that because of the color of my hair, they would supplement with YAK hair. So, if I have to do that, I guess I will change my screen name to YAKHEAD.

OMG--talk about storms!!! Sorry, Wahine--we must have sent ours on down your way. Had the door in bedroom open that goes out to deck. dH woke up SOAKED from rain blowing in! He jumped up and shut the door; wind was screeching and howling. He checked ceiling in fam room and it wasn't leaking--yay!!! maybe we finally have that resolved and can redo that ceiling. Talked to neighbor tonight who has lived here for 20+ years and he says was the WORST storm here that he's ever seen/heard. I slept through the whole blooming thing!!!!
My friggin' sinus infection is out of control. Had a dr appt today but they called and cancelled it....can call tomorrow and they will put me on a waiting list....WTF!!! Been trying to see dr for 3 days..... (my first experience of rural dr who has a medical problem and apparently no back up....) Wanting to leave Thurs for little get-away for dH birthday and return home late Friday to have the B&B opened for friends coming for several days....fridge still at repair shop--they don't know when it will be ready.......how do you you have company and no fridge to stash stuff in????
Lots of little crappy things that don't mean jack shit in the overerall scheme of things......but, I am weary of it all.......

Remember that time there was a lot of junk in my trunk and I brought it on the bus and we had a nice big bonfire? Can we do that again? I'm accumulating junk again and today was a total crappola day... woke up with a headache and NO INTERNET CONNECTION, sick DD (who is now whining about her life, mostly due to her own choices), really lame and rude support tech, wiener-dog was needy, DD2 frustrated without Internet, truancy issues... ahhhhh! Didn't sleep last night cuz I had a nightmare about those officers at my door and couldn't shake my headache all day.

Thanks for comments on the pic. Junie it is one of those tour things in Pigeon Forge TN. It was quite interesting. They had actually over 400 artifacts from the Titanic. Your ticket was a passport with the name of a person that was on the Titanic and at the end there was a memorial and you could learn the fate of your person. Both DH and I were Stewards on the ship and we both LIVED!

Yikes, Me is late to 2da par-tay...and all "wixxed mup" (thank chrissy)...I just want to say HEY! and I'll check back later gater to ketchup as I get to go for anuder dwive but just 1.5 hours each way to Oly for rad rad sim and a joyride in the ct scanner and I think I get my very foyst tatoos - now that is rad. so got MF'd but the good thing about the white counts is it got my cytoxan dose cut in half - yippee. I was wondering how I was going to get through 2 more of these cycles. So from here only 1 more MF, 12 more days of cytoxan at half dose, 14 days off but start rads ll/16, then only 2 more F's (they will drop methotrexate when double downed with rads) and 14 days of C pills....33 suntans in there somewhere...and about 10 cases of gin.So the confession drink looks rad and an so do the umbrella drinks an pwetty flowers... I will confess I screwed up the coffee this morning three times. Finally got the right about of whisky and cream in it. Vodka just didn't tast sweet enuf for the cheerios this morn so instead I used rum, yum rum, yum rum. Now I think for my trip to Oly I will mix my crystal light with the vodka and I think that will get me through the morning. I'll be back latR to catch up on the drinks I missed....can wait for that and a couple a dog beers for sure to start.

Lori, I found a strainer, and will wear a blindfold so I can get those critters outta the drinks....thought you could keep me from drinking them all,huh???? J/K.
