how about drinking?

I do love all the pix of critters! Of course no snow here in SoCal, just 20mph winds and 40 degree nights. I'm not complaining - I'm enjoying wearing long sleeves for once!
I guess I failed to mention that I do still have my 5 boosts left, but instead of starting yesterday as originally planned, I get the rest of this week off and then go back next week for 5 boosts, then I'm really done. At least my skin will have a chance to heal a bit; the worst area is exactly where the boost will be focused, so it'll probably break down again/more after the boosts. I'll now have a plan of attack starting immediately so hopefully it won't be as bad.
Thanks to all you ladies for your kind words, understanding and welcoming spirit. It helps SO much. I'll remind myself to drop in during the day more, since I'm on the west coast and by the time evening rolls around, ya'all are probably snoozin!

Hi, loungies--waving a weak hand at you all! Too tired to crawl off sofa nest I've made and hit the bar--sure hope I feel better soon! Don't feel much like communicating--have had a couple really rough days----BUT, wanted to let you all know how much I enjoy reading all your posts each day!!!!
Hopefully I'll be chiming in soon instead of sleeping all the time and popping pain pills! I'm not a very good patient that's for sure--but my DH is being an absolute superhero!!!! Big huggggssssss to all.....
BOTTOMS UP!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Junie- so lovely to see your posts and so happy your DH is so wonderful!!! I'm happy for you. Take care!

Ladies, we must send the tenders out to find Honky. I am concerned. If we don't hear from her by tomorrow, we must all get on the bus and find her. It is not like her to not chime in for so long.
Beans, I sure would not have been so courageous to the outside world had I not had you girls. I am a very strong person and I have thick skin (a prerequeisit for my yob)! Having BC though, I think I am still trying to drink enough to stay in denial about it. I am so very fortunate that I only needed Tammy to keep the bad guys away and it breaks my heart thinking about those of you having more aggressive treatments. I was in the waiting room for quite some time at my onc. visit yesterday and just talked to the pretty fish in the aquarium. I was surrounded by some very sick people and I felt guilty. Yet in my peabrain, I denied I was there.
To all of you friends that are still hearting alot, whether physically or mentally, I pray that you all feel better.
Claire, as always, your post had such a possitive and motivating attitude. You are DA woman!! I really do look up to you.
Kathy, such a sweeeeet story about your P's. God Bless them, 70 years and married twice to each other....gotta ♥ that!!! I hope your finger is better. And watch where you walk, you are injury prone.
NM, I just love love love your pics. I always laff, really laff when I see your pics and the narration that follows. You are so whitty and kewel. Hey, is that your baby in the pic? Very cute, I love that dog. Well I love all dogs including DH. Ha! We are going to AC for the weekend. He will gamble, I will pretend and get free dwinks!!! I hope Junie and Kitty can join me at the casino!!
Chrissy, get some sleep girl, poor baby watching news all night while such tragedy was happening. I am going to the chapel to pray.
Well I am going to pop a fukitol and get back to dh. I will try to catch up with the rest of your girls later. I have to pack. Kathy is coming to help, playbacks!!!!
Cheers, beers hugs no thugs!! Barmen, get me another and another and another and another and another.... (if I was able to copy paste on mozilla, I would have had 100 "and anothers" added to this message. Ok, Dofey, OUT!

It's getting to be happy hour!! Junie so good to hear from you!! I'm glad to see some other cheers n beers! Going for some outa sight merlot and cheez-whiz - j/k - ha ha ha!!!

I am here...where da beer? Went to Dr. yesterday myself and got a big needle.....sorry NM! I'll be bock to normal soon. So sorry for all you gals going through the trt still (Mrs Nice) and those waiting for the sh!t. (Kymn) Hate to say....we are all in it for life. Let's try to live it. As Chrissy would say......PANTS, BRING ON THE DRINKS!
P.S. All you gals with the bad weather, I am sooo sorry. Hope everything is ok with your loved ones Chrissy! HonkeydEdited to add: Ellie, your leapord coat
story split me up!

Beans, you don't like da cheese whiz? I thought it was a delicasy in certain backgrounds. Mmmmm! I like to squirt it on the rim of my wine glass! HD

Junie, thanks for stopping in for some boo's. I am waiving right back atcha and wishing you well. I hope that you feel better with each day. We missed u more than you know. Kymn, I see you in the rye. Drink up, the tenders have everything here. I hope that you are able to figure out the best treatment for YOU! You will be alright.
Ellie, I cracked up at your comments about standing outside in your leopard coat and I laffed harder about your DH saying you looked like a thug. Have you tried joining quitnet.com to help ya overcome that nicodemon? I know that feeling of guilt that comes with being a smoker. DH has taken photos of me sitting in a corner, in the rain w/ slippers and robe and hoodie having a smoke. I have quit but am fighting it bad. There are days I feel that I do not care but I know it is bad and I tell myself that I can stay quit. Plus, it is expensive, you can buy more likker if you quit!!
HD, sorry about the big needle. I am glad you checked in. I was getting emotional last night in watching the htl video, seeing your face and missing ya too much. Hang tough. btw, I wish I was blonde, i'd have excuse for my dummy-ness haha!!
Stanzie, I really do wish I kept up with my love for the arts. I may have told you before, but my dream yob was to be a pro musician.
Astorm, funnny story about your WD. Mine are the same way, they hate the cold and hate rain. My middle furbaby loves laying on my heat vent. I had to get her a name tag that is flat on her collar...one day a few years ago, I came home from work to find her tags stuck in the heater vent. It is funny now but not at the time.
Well I must go now. Drink up, cheers and beers!!!!! Tits up!!!

Quick pop in - Dorothy - why kind of musician? I don't think there are time limits on music, maybe some levels of professional but if so you can always do it for yourself! Yes? My wonderful music teachers who taught me when I was 8 through high school are now both in their 80's and both in wheelchairs. The wife was voted a few years ago "World's Best Voice" teacher and I'm not kidding. Last year the Met Opera had 4 openings and three of those places went to her students. Her husband retired a long time ago but keeps getting job offers. He used to have a television show and still recordes piano music CD's. Now as usual he goes in and plays for about hour straight with NO music. They are truely amazing! They are also the smartest people I have ever met. I have never found a subject they didn't know volumns about. So they are such an inspiration. He had cancer 5 years ago and she has had hip replacements and all sorts of knee and foot problems and nothing gets them down. Ok, really didn't mean to stay and write so much.....

Hi Ladies....
Checking in. Just shaking my head as learned why the work problem I have been wrestling with on and off for the past eight weeks was so difficult. We weren't given all the information! So it finally all made sense. I can't believe all the hours my client and I wasted, and all the worry. For nothing. We are just all so tired with reworking things, and then reworking them again.
I keep thinking it's treatment, but things on their end too. At least it makes sense now, and similar to what I suspected all along.
The great news is that I will be able to celebrate my birthday w/o worrying that I am playing with half a deck. Well I was, but it is because I wasn't handed all the cards. Different story. YAY!!!
I have to present for my other client on Saturday, so need to have it all ready. But should be just fine as know what I am going to say. Then on to a bicycle ride to keep the bod fit.
Right now, I am waiting for my Potatoes Anna to cook and crisp up to a fine turn. Will have with the rest of the stew. YUM!!! These are some of the free potatoes from when I bought the stew meat.
And with some red wine which I am already sampling for "quality purposes".
Beans......was thinking about you during my walk. You will rapidly increase in energy over the next 2-3 weeks. Then, a long and much slower recovery to full strength. You will be doubting if you are ready to do things, then learn that yes you can!!!
Mrs NIce....you will get there too, but are back a ways. I think though, that you are past the worst. So just staying the course.
I am not going to share quite everything I have planned for my birthday next week But will end up at a wine bar with a super film, friends, wine, cheese, and chocolates. I expect to be smiling even if walking is a trifle on the difficult side.
Life is good. - Claire

Hey Junie girl......you just sit tight and we will make sure you get what you need. I'll get you a straw for your ML dog beers and bring you a cup (ha ha ha, you know what that is for!)
Astorm, what part of Mich? I am a Michigander too. Grew up in St. Clair Shores and Sterling Hgts, then raised my kids in a little town called Hadley (Between Lapeer and Flint)
Another needle HD? Dang! It's been how long since your surgery? Cracked me up with your cheeze whiz on the rim of your wine glass!
Missing my NM giggle this morning I think HD scared her off with the big needle!
Glad to see you are on "quality control" Claire. That is sooooo important!
Beanie Beanz, so glad to have you back as well, and starting to get out of the FUNK. I think if you have enough dwinks the Beanglish will just roll.
Dorothy, I actually don't think, that being in denial is such a bad thing. Especially if it can take your mind off it and make you forget about it. As long as you keep up with your appts, tests and Tammy.........why not! As for Kathy's parents, hard to tell what you mean when you say "70 years and married twice to each other". That 70 yrs is how long they have been together, they are in their 90's........did you know that? Did your daughter get her car out? Glad you liked the video, it was fun to make but took me MONTHS.
Chrissy, I haven't had the telly on much, but glad to hear that things are not as bad as they could have been. Such strange weather we have had EVERYWHERE!
Stanzie, that is so great that you still keep up with your music teachers. So sweet of you.
How about a GIGGLE drink today?
Cola, Creme de Menthe, and Gin.
Pour Creme de Menthe, Gin, crushed ice and top with Cola. Serve in high ball glass!
Urban Dictionary definition of "Giggle Juice"
Juice that makes you giggle at the most pathetic things, otherwise known as beer and/or booze. Giggle juice is a collective term for any alcoholic beverage that has the ability to instigate frivolity or laughter. Large quantities may cause the subject to fall down...... and may even result sleep... Zzzz Yo mate, you got any giggle juice on ya?
Found this, looking for a picture to go with the drink. Think it will do! Made me giggle! The BUD WEIS ER frogs. Now these are NOT shirts on these ladies.

Finally got to talk to my SIL today. They still don't know if they have a home or not and it may be a few more days before a neighbour can cut his way through the debri to find out for them. They are still in Townsville as the road is still underwater because of the amount of rain this storm bought with it and there are streams of traffic blocking the highway. The SES (State Emergency Service) and the military have been deployed to begin the clean up but by all accounts, there is not much left of Tully and Mission Beach. Neither were large communities and for that everyone breathes a sigh of relief as if they had been larger the devistation would have been far greater. We have had one young man (23) confirmed dead due to the storm and apparently there are a few more people missing. It is going to be weeks before the total cost of this storm will be known........both economically and emotionally. Having been through a cyclone, I do understand how they are feeling so my heart goes out to each and everyone of them.
Great pic Goldie...LMAO! Thanks I needed that.
Well drinks are in order but first I need to cool off in the pool then I think I'll just laze in a hammock. PsNts!!!! something with a zing please........I think a whiskey sour is in order tonight!!!!!!
TITZ UP!!!!!!
Whiskey Sour
1 shot wiskey
2 shots lemon juice
Place shots in a cocktail shaker over ice and shake till chilled and frothy. Dip the rim of an open cocktail glass in white sugar and pour the cocktail. Enjoy!!!

Oh, My Goodness! That pic is sooooo funny!
HD didn't scare me off-- I had a sleep in this morning, didn't get up until 7 AM!
I'm very happy this morning, I've lost 2 pounds after weeks of exercise and eating better (better, not necessarily perfectly). Yeah ME! The new laptop should be delivered today, so I can retire this one iwth the missing keys and sticky keys and old, slow functioning. Got lots of housework to catch up on but also have some energy to tackle that chore with, a win-win for me!
JUNIE!!!! So good to hear from you! Take your time recovering, and pop in when you can, we're keeping a stool, a hammock, a pool floatie, a swim-up stool, and a slot machine stool open for you.
I love the idea of Giggle Juice!
Bottled Giggle Juice
2 limes - halved
2 lemons - halved
1 cup sugar
2 cups vodka
ice
In a large jar, combine fruit, sugar and vodka. Fill jar with ice. Tightly seal with cover. Shake for 20-30 minutes.Giggle Juice Punch
2 bottles dry white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc, chilled
5 cups lemon-lime soda, chilled
2 cups white grape juice, chilled
6 limes, thinly sliced crosswisePreparation
Make ice block:
Fill medium metal bowl with water and freeze overnight.Make punch:
In large punch bowl, stir together wine, soda, and grape juice. Add lime slices. Just before serving, remove ice block from freezer and defrost just long enough to be slipped out of bowl, 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer to punch bowl and serve immediately.0 -
Great pictures ! Both Goldie and N. M. However Goldie the one on the far right sort of looks like my late step-mother and what do you all think her face is really saying? N.M. if I made that punch my kids would be trying to get to it for the soda! They don't get it often which not sure if I'm creating monsters cause when they do get it they go crazy.
Raining up a storm here and more coming. Chrissy - speaking of rain, I do hope your SIL and family's home is alright.
My son's ski trip with school was cancelled due to weather in north Ga., SC. and NC. He was awfully disappointed.
N.M. - Wow - Congratulations!!! both on losing weight and getting a new lap top! Happy!
I've been really trying to lose weight too..... slow going but trying. Will try and get in exercise later today. Claire, you keep us going...... looking forward to hearing about your big birthday party!
0 -
YAY NM!!! You not only are getting a new lap top, but now you have less of a "lap top". Congrats on losing weight and exercizing!!! WooHoo!!!! I've been trying, but too scared to get on the scale and see those high numbers. I did get up to over 300 revolutions with the hula hoop, so trying to do that too. Love all your pics, esp the "doggie punch bowl"!....lol
WOWSA, we have so many dwinks today....lotta DOTD's! Lori that pic was so cute, and I am even more thankful for recon & implants, or I might look like the lady in the middle....or worse...LOL.
Chrissy, Sorry to hear that some deaths have happened with the cyclone...sad that already 1 was found, and more are missing. And how scary and sad for your SIL and family to imagine they have prob lost their home. Such sad devastation.
Junie, So glad you were able to post. We all miss you and love you, and can't wait for your full recovery!
Oh HD, owwwwwwws to having to have a big needle again! Ouch! Hope you are healing really well though. You have been through SO much!
Yeah, Stanzie we have lots of rain too. They have a "state of emergency" for the counties below us as they got a lot of snow and ice. We had ice on the streets overnight, but ok now. Can imagine how disappointed your son is, for the cancelled trip.
To GIGGLE JUICE! And TGIF!!!

Kathy - OK- how on earth did you learn how to hula - hoop. I have tried and tried and I can't seem to get it? Any inside tips?
0 -
AStorm - I too loved your WD "no cold nose" story and yes daz me.
Mrs Nice - hope da boosts go with no prob, for me doz were da eZ-est.
Dorthy - which part of deNile do you live? I'm on the northwest end.
Oh HonkeyD - glad to hear from U!!! Sorry bout a big needle - yucko! You have been through so much! But at least you found the cheez whiz...I was trying to figure out what would go best with merlot: cheez whiz, li'l weenies, or fiddle faddle...settled on cheez whiz and great idea to put it ON the wine glass, thanks for dat idea!
Stanzie - enjoyed your story bout music teachers...I took lessons from a sadist in high school...first lesson he yelled at me and actually got clippers out and cut my fingernails off...kinda killed my musical interests, though I still sing-a-long with the radio when no one can hear that I sound like a wounded hound. So glad you had nice folks to learn from.
Claire - yes, I bean able to kick it up a notch this week, now added some yumping yacks and gonna add some girly push-ups. Glad yer deck is all there, whew!
Goldie - LOL at that frog pic - OMG where did you find dat??? Goes great with Giggle drinks, so funny!
Chrissy - hope your family is all okay...I would like to join you for a cool off in the pool and the whiskey sour will go great with giggle juice and fiddle faddle.
NM - congrats on your exercise/eating paying off! And yippee to a new laptop! Love the giggle drinks and the punch bowl is sooo funny - ha ha ha !
Geawd wahine - the hoola hoop and giggle juice have me going wild!
So much fun today, but I think I might burn up - so hot today from hormone changes. I guess the tamox is working so that's good. Hope you all have a great day! BARMEN!

NM.....wishing you the best of luck in the new world of Office 2010. Getting a new PC is wonderful, but I do have to say the Windows 7 and Office 2007 took some getting used to.
I did the upgrade a year ago, and was thrilled to get rid of my old PC too. Love my Sony VAIO. I chose the first week of Taxol to do the deed. One of my friends mentioned that it went well, because I was low on energy and actually read the instructions.
So I would lay in something like Hypnotiq to match the blue language. I was not alone in it, and I couldn't even drink a year ago.
Chrissy - hoping the Biblical rains subside soon and that damage is minimal.
I am trying to get my brain back to the matters at hand. The first day in some time I haven't been under tremendous pressure in the early AM, so have been taking things easy. I have a rewrite to start, but am going to ease into things today. And not work all weekend.
Think it's cycling again tomorrow (after my presentation). - Claire

Fooey, I just checked the FedEx tracking and the new lap top won't make it to Maine until Monday. Oh, well.

Fooey NM!!!

Bummer NM! But you will appreciate it all the more when it finally arrives!
Stanzie, Did you hula hoop as a kid? Its not as easy as getting back on a bike is, but after a bit of practice, it comes back. Also, I got the regular size first and discovered that adults need the larger size hoop, and that made a big difference. Could even come up to your waist. Also good if it isn't too lightweight....some have liquid in them and that really does help. The sporting goods stores here have better hoops, so thats where I got mine. Then if I really keep at it, I might splurge for a weighted one, and some come apart for traveling ($30+). The regular hoops should be from $6-12 or so. If you didn't hoop as a kid, you can google "how to hula hoop" and there are free videos on different techniques. Supposed to not only be good for your core and abs, but for muscles up to your neck. Hope you will try it!
Nice to read some good Beanglish again!!!
Now we may get snow tonight, after all the rain....gotta watch the weather every hour as it keeps changing!
Ciao!

Ooooohhhhh, How bout some whiskey on our wings???Just got this recipe from JD...I think Dorothy might like it!
Here in Lynchburg, we'll being enjoying a Jack and ginger along with some spicy Jack's Baja Chicken Wings. Give them a try and let us know what you think!
Jack's Baja Chicken Wings
2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup Jack Daniel's
Tennessee Whiskey
1/4 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup olive oil
Cut wings in half at joint, remove wing tip and discard. Combine whiskey, lime juice, chili powder, salt and oil until slightly thickened. Pour whiskey mixture over chicken wings and refrigerate overnight. Cook on grill for 15 minutes, turning frequently, and basting with marinade. Enjoy!0 -
Beanie - how was the Cheez Whiz? I used to think "only in America" but then I went to England... EVERYTHING goes with merlot but I haven't tried Fiddle Faddle. I've been on Tamox since 9/01/09... I had hot flashes for awhile but has stopped... oh, but I do "treatment induced menopause" which means no Aunt Flo but estrogen count is still thru the roof. You'd think my bones would be happy with the high estro, but they are not... new onco says tamox can make yr bones ache. I'm going to get a bone density scan JIC but I'm probably being a sissy. Maybe I should eat more cheez whiz... thanks for the beanglish - we missed you!
Hunky - was the needle related to the cheez whiz on the glass?
Junie - thanks for popping in... just take care of youself and we'll keep a barstool waiting and refresh your drink!
Dorthy - some of us call it "chemo brain" but those of us who haven't had chemo are just dwunk. ... my cats and WD have a stand off at the heater vent in the living room every morning. The cat always wins. Never thought about the tags but our vent is on the wall. One evening friends came over with their dog and WD played for hours. Then WD went missing and we searched the whole house, calling him and promising love and treats... finally found him in DD's room inside a sleeping bag she left on the floor from a sleep over the night before. They are funny little things aren't they?
Lori - We lived in St. Jospeh. Then we moved to San Jose (same name, different language) in California... and I accidentally married the wrong man whose name was "Joe". That was the trilogy so then I had to break the connection! NO MO JO .... OMG! I love that photo! Was that taken at HTL?
NM - thanks for the giggles... and the juice. That pic of the dog with the toilet is so funny! My grandma came to live with us when I was a teenager, but didn't want to sell her house in the country. When my dad was checking on it one time, he caught some young men stealing her toilet! They told him they were going to put ice and beer in it for a party. Congrats on losing those pounds... I think I found them though. Sorry your PC was delayed... I once checked UPS to see where my PC was and it was re-routed back to Shanghai! I guess you have to keep an eye on those suckers...
Stanzie - I was raised without soda and I'm not a monster... ok, well I do like wine and mineral water for the fizz but I never developed a taste for soda. We also rarely had chocolate. My mom made herself sick on chocolate once as a kid so she couldn't stand the smell of it - we never had chocolate cake or chocolate chip cookies... I love chocolate now! The UP side to Mom's Alzheimer's was that she forgot she couldn't stand to smell chocolate and became a chocoholic in her last months.
Chrissy and all those down-under - so sorry to hear about the trauma and drama. Wish I could send you some of our sunshine... sending hugs and best wishes instead...

Gail, What an interesting Joseph connection....ROFLMAO at your "No Mo Jo". Then you got your mojo back with your current husband, even though he has a different name. Oh, I think I'm getting in too deep! LOL. When my babies were born, I moved to Michigan City, IN (had the horrible blizzard of '78 right after my youngest was born.) Thats where my horrid ex and his entire family lived, so don't have any good memories, except those involving my kids! Anyway, we used to go out to a cute french restaurant that was either in St. Joseph or Benton Harbor, MI. Very upscale dining in such a tiny town. Had to remember the time difference too, even though it was less than an hr away. When I did decorating, I had several customers in St. Joe and Benton Harbor. Small, small world!
Dwink up! (I think we got the word "dwink" from you Dorothy? Or from Beans???),

huggers all!!!! Had my first real phys therapy today--kind of rolled my eyes at DH--they looked waaaay too simple. NOT!!!! Was wiped out ater 5 minutes! Only need to do them one time a day until he comes back on Tues with more torture! THAT is what happens to your bod when you get stuck in bed for 30 days! Cripes! Also, have to learn to breathe a different way while doing them! Much to learn; kind of discouraged but see a dog beer so think I willl go take a little sip!!!!!!
Keep up the daily flow--it's the only thing keeping me going right now!!!!! Just about dried out from the oxycodone--man, that is some nasty crap!!!!! Getting lots of snow just now--ready for it to quit!!!!!!
BOTTOMS UP!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Junie....I thought that was you passed out on the sofa in the dark corner of the bar....trying to hide from the PT person???? Can only imagine how hard it is to do, but you are a trooper and I know you will do your best. Glad you're throwing the drugs to the curb! Sometimes hard to get off of those things. You said just a "sip" of the dog beer....right? We're still drinking the beer for you (twist my arm), as well as the DOTD's. And today there were several to choose from! But guess you have to wait awhile to indulge in some real ML's. Hang in there girl, you are getting better and better every day, just sorry you have to go through all that. It is almost Pau Hana time, so I will raise my glass to your complete recovery.....
To Junie!!!!

Hello ladies! How art thou on this fine Friday??
Kymm - I had lymphatic invasion (and clear nodes) and IDC & DCIS on my 2nd bout of this dreadful disease. That was after a bilateral mastectomy for DCIS. Yuck! I also had positive margins and they had to go back in and then I got clear margins. Thank God because there wasn't much left to hold my implant. I hope you get clear margins, as well. Doing back to back surgeries isn't fun. I will keep positive thoughts for you!!!
Ellie - you make me laugh. I love the WT story. Keep em coming!
I love all the pics and drinks everyone posts! Too bad I can't drink because I got FOOD POISONING this week!!!! Like going through chemo and radiation isn't enough. It was awful. I am still recovering and have to do my speech for Susan G Komen tomorrow.
I hope everyone has an awesome Superbowl weekend! Will everyone be gathering at the HTL for the big game? I'm not a fan of either team, but always like to watch it. Cheers!!!

NM- I happen to work for the company delivering your laptop. There was a service disruption because of weather this week. I hope you get the laptop soon.
MrsNice - I know what you mean about the floating in the room feeling during radiation. I had that feeling too. The worst was when the financial advisor decided to bother me right before treatment and got me all worked up (all because they can't figure out how to bill primary and secondary insurance properly). UGHHH.... I hope the boosts go well for you. It's a lot quicker than the normal radiation treatment.

Kathy - the restaurant was probably in St Jo. They are "sister cities" right across the river from each other but their demographics are polar opposite. I haven't been back there since I left in the 70's so things might be quite different now. Sometimes I think about going there just because it is part of my past, but no one lives there anymore so it seems silly to fly across the country! I have this theory that the dearly departed get to go anywhere they want... we shall see-- but not for a long time I hope.
0 -
Gail, this small world continues...I left there in the 70's also....was there from '74 to Dec'78. Wish I could think of the restaurant, as it had a great reputation. That was where I first had flaming duck. Years later, when I ordered that in a small restaurant in the Bahamas (owned by someone from Germany)... it was just on a regular plate...looked like roasted duck. I asked why it wasn't flaming, and the owner was all flustered telling me how it would have been flaming in the kitchen, but of course wouldn't still be flaming when it was brought out! Sheesh! BUT he also would put a pillow under your feet (ladies only), when you sat down, so that was special. My DH (we were still dating then) did that so much after we returned home, that I had to tell him to stop! It was special at first, then got annoying...LOL.
OK kittycat, now get NM's laptop delvered lickity-split! J/K....just giving you a hard time since you work for that company. Weather delays can result in mucho angryo customers...but NM sounds like a very understanding gal, so I doubt she would give anyone a hard time!
Dwink Up Girlz!
Kathy
