You ALL are so hilarious!!!! Chrissy - Glad you are back and sounds like you are being well taken care of!
NM - Love the dust bunny that follows- oh my do I have the real ones here.....! Still looking for help on house cleaning so might be a while. Also trying to get rid of stuff - not doing too well yet.
My BIL's surgery is this afternoon around 1:00pm. Hope all goes well for him. I know my sister is worried she is even trying to be nice to me so she must be scared.
Kathy - congratulations on finally getting the floor done - Woohooo!
As for shopping - I once sent my SO off shopping for groceries with my credit card ( he isn't that nice). It was while I was still recuperating. So I write out all the brand names and put a star next to it if I have a coupon for it and mark whether you have to buy one or two to get the coupon. It wasn't a terribly long list but it had some Easter candy for the kids on it with coupons.
Well, you know how in the front of most stores around holidays they have all the holiday candy? Apparently he didn't. He went to the regular candy aisle and of course the coupons don't work on the regular stuff and somehow he bought about 4 times the amount of candy I wanted. The whole shopping excursion took him almost 3 hour and I'm thinking there was only about 15 items on the list - none strange at all. So haven't tried that again...
His sister and BRI are coming into town tonight. I have known him almost 4 years and finally finally he has unpacked his apt. from his Divorce. I couldn't go over there as really there was no room to move. I had helped him update his furniture but you couldn't even see it. So somewhow in the last few weeks he has actually cleaned up his house and yesterday I helped him hang pictures. Almost looks like someone lives there! Made me so angry though as he has this big leather ottoman and I put the tape measure down on it and he totally blasts me for it saying it "could" dent it. This from the man who broke my sideview mirror on my brand new car - not my fault it drives different from my car, sat on and broke one of my Mother's antique chairs- not my fault I just sat in it (yes he is very overweight), broke my grandmother's wine glass - not my fault I didn't see it on the counter. But of course the second time I'm at his place I'm in trouble for the tape measurer which I picked up from the ottoman where He left it..... I think it is time for him to go back to being off again.
Kathy - yikes about the tornado possibility - that always scares me terribly.
I'm sure I missed a lot -
Beanie- I love Bullwinkle! Glad you found your card - hate it when I just don't know what happened to stuff makes me feel like I'm in that old movie "GasLight".
Karen - yay to 6 mos apts.
I'm due next week for apt with PS which I dread as it is after my tatoo's and I'm not happy with them or how painful my back still is and the muscle under my arms and now an odd - well it isn't a dent not really sure what to call it but just looks different. Anyway not looking forward to that apt. And need to make an apt. with a nose PS to see if they can fix what the other one messed up after it was broken so badly. Would love to be able to really breathe again even in time for pollen season!
Cheers All!!!

Hi again girlzzzzzz,
Oh yeah Beans, I forgot that I really did like the avatar of you better (thanx for reminding me, Dorothy!). Just thought the moose was so cute, but yeah, do get your pic back up again! Soooo glad you are safely in the mountains. Anything better on the family issues???? Sure hope so!
Well, all you wiener dog luvers here, they is a controversary going on right now, about a wiener dog race this weekend during the ice hockey game (intermission I guess). I think it was in Pensacola that they had one last week? Didn't know if you have heard of it. Anyhow, this was the link from one of the tv news articles....
http://www.waaytv.com/mediacenter/local.aspx?videoid=2240462
Very loud here, as he is finishing up one area of the flooring....then the molding goes on....then I have my PS appt....then I will have to touch up the molding.....then I want to paint the DR....BUT this is progress!!!! All while DH is on the phone, on the sofa, with tv news programs on, and laptop in his lap! Such is life!
Lori, I would love it if you could add the DILLIGAF Bar & Grill to the HTL....very good find there!
Chissy.....do take it easy for a bit, okay?
ChEARS!

We got snow here....just not a lot which is a good thing. Two feet in the mountains so skiing will be fab. Hoping Beans is waking up to it.
I have missed very little of the things I have thrown out in my life, and very few things that stayed with the house which my ex got. I am enjoying being forced to travel light. I am even learning to throw out past tense sports attire. (The wearable, but baggy stuff.)
The Chilly Hilly is the official kick off to the cycling season. I have done it three times, ranging from nasty sleet to bright sunshine. Last year was the latter, and warmer than most events later in the season. I did it with a friend. Short course, and late start as I was doing Taxol then. I walked most of the hills. But I did it. The trip back on the ferry was the most breathtaking I have ever seen with waning sun on the snow-capped mountain peaks.
However, I am planning on taking advantage of the 2' of fresh snow in the mountains.
LIVESTRONG was the really nasty weather event last year. It was in June and we froze in the pelting rain. They aren't doing it this year in Seattle.
Chrissy.....glad you are fine.
I need to get rolling. Fortunately, I don't have an early AM thing to get out, so am lazing about. I need to get ready for a phone meeting later, but I am in good shape there. And I need to do some networking.
Kathy....I was married to one of those. He had me so well trained that I realized on Sunday that it was OK to let the two guys lash the skis to my roof rack on the way back. (I did this with one guy on the way out, as the others weren't ready yet and we needed to get moving.)
Off to do my exercises and start my day. - Claire

Good Morning Ladies, sorry I have MIA the last 24 had a really busy day at work yesterday and between that and the bone scan didnt get any time to post. When the machine was around my head I just imagined myself at the HTL with Dorothy swinging in the hammock and Kathy and Beaunius bellied up a the bar, I was lounging by the pool and before I new it the thing was past my head. I will have to conjure up those images during the MRI that and some adavan will help lol. Watched AI last night too I agree will get more into it once they narrow it down some. Also America's Next Top Model started last night lol I am so addicted to these shows.
I missed so much I dont have time to go back and read everything but loving the DILLIGAF. I printed off the pic NM found for us and have it posted at my desk lol. Only I can see it buts it enough to give me a smile if someone pisses me off.
Was talking to my Step daughter last night and was telling her that we werent sure when I would be starting Chemo but that it was definetly part of my treatment plan and she says well it could be worse you could be like me and have burned your hair (she fried it with her straighting iron ) just got back from a trip from hell ( poor thing went to an all inclusive trip to cuba with some friends) and had 2000 dollars stolen from your account ( someone stole her pin number and drained her bank account but bank is putting it all back in today)...WTF...lol oh to be 18 again and living in your own little bubble on your own little planet. What could I say I just said yes dear your right it could be worse.
Am looking forward to joining you all for drinks tonight. Rye and diet here I come.Have a great day all see you tonight.

Okay, so one of the first organizational things is that I got all the beach kotex in a nice little first aid kit. Then DH says there's a bunch more [mountain] tampons and what to do with them...so I shared with him all I lernt here, that they're good for cleaning up spills and chemicals and blood and maybe when he does oil changes...I got a very blank look and I have a lotta this stuff, cuz it when it came to flo I really kept my bases covered...every suitcase, brief case, handbag, cosmetic bag, bathroom cupboard, glove box, etc. got a little stash of the goodies for "just in case." I have a feeling I'll be finding these for years in different pouches, oh me.
Next I got a lotta summer clothes packed up and got my winter clothes out cuz it's eenie meenie chillie beanie at 9 deg this morning and we got 3 inches of snow last night. I really like junie's idea of just throwing all the old crap out and oh boy, oh boy, buying a whole lotta new crap - yippee!!! But for now, up in the attic go all the summer clothes until I get organized - ha ha ha!
Got out jogging in my screw shoes yesterday...did my 40 min plus walking and yumping yacks. Plus adding in 4 up and downs on the hill. Felt really awesome!
o went another day. I was just so glad to get off the phone with fam-O-drama. Makes my heart ache and my ear really sore.
Now I get to ketchup on posts I missed while simultaneously waiting all day for happy hour. Oh I have one thing new to tell you too...that is I caught myself last night for about 3 minutes not thinking about BC. Wow, it was weird. Maybe there will be more minutes of not thinking about it in my future? Will wait and see...Anyway, I sure have enjoyed your posts and pics this morning. Luv N hugs, ~ {Ʊ/(Ơ) Beansies

Kathy - funny about men and their groceries... we have a male friend who has never been married but built himself a huge house and recently remodeled and enlarged it. I was curious about his choice of appliances for the kitchen, having recently replaced mine. He said, "I don't need new appliances, I don't have a wife." But guess which appliance he replaced? The fridge. DH and I went to his house to watch a movie in his new theatre room and he and DH stood in front of the open fridge, admiring it. Congrats on the floor... my pavers need to be sealed again and I just can't figure out how to do that with so many pets running around. Maybe booties?
Wiener dog races... what's next. Mine won't come out from under the covers today... snoozing away between the sheets (don't tell DH) with the cats curled up on top of him. Can't picture him racing anywhere! Although he does get a "wild hair" in the early evening and he is the fastest thing on earth.
wonder if they'll be wearing their buns? Well they are awfully cute when they run, with their little legs and their ears flying.
Claire - I'm starting late today too... nice to not have to leave town today and don't have a meeting until 10... which is very soon. YIKES!

Kathy, I clicked that link and was not able to see anything about the WD races. I do love watching them and have actually spent time on youtube looking at these races, they crack me up.
A-storm, I know what you mean about trying to replace/re-group the kitchen floor with dogs. I do not let my dogs roam my house and replaced our kitchen floor last March. It was rough as I had to keep my furbabies outsie and they were not happy out there for so long. I love your pics, too cute.
Kymn, good job in pretending you were hanging at the HTL while having your scan. I did not mind my bone scan but will admit that my tech was eye-candy.
Beans, your suggested uses for Kotex cracked me up. I can see me trying to sell that one to my DH, "honey, use these to wipe the oil from your fingers". The nurse at my PS office has told me that they work well for drainage when needed and are cheaper than the large drain pads. I can't say I have not had a pad in my bra more than once! Everyone pics are so cute, keep em coming.
Hoping that Chrissy is still in bed and resting comfortably. You girls do rock. Hello to the rest of you, hope to catch up with you all again tonight. If I have missed anyone, I am sawry, blame it on Jack!
Ps Kymn, if you need help with posting pics, I can help. Beans and Kathy helped me figure it out and it took me a long time to realize what I was doing wrong.

Sure Dorothy that would be great, I fiugred out how to print them off here at work so I could get a giggle everyday but am CI (computer illiterate) and get post any.

Wahine - so glad to hear you got nice flooring and I really hope it's not like the cartoon NM posted!
Claire - hope you have a fantastic ski day!
Junie - wow, 4 dumpsters and 0 arguments, and no whining? I know I couldn't manage that, I am programmed for at least one whine per minute whether it's needed or not. Glad you don't miss the stuff and I'm sure getting new stuff is way fun. Your ancient stuff makes me think of our camping stove. I bought it ages ago and on it's first camping trip I spilled oil and it caught on fire. DH grabbed our fire extinguisher and put it out quickly but the stove was a mess!!! I wanted to throw it in the dumpster after that but DH said it became a part of our memories so he tried to clean it up. It has worked perfectly all these years, but it's really UGLY!! Love your lightbulb story, and so glad you sound like you're doing so well!!
AStorm - So glad you found your wayward debit card. Love the crabby people pic, I think they become like a toxin to my system and I want to shake it out and get back to my center - oooohhhhmmm. Purging helps that too, but garage sales are like toxin too so watch out for that.
Karen - congrats on graduating to 6 month checks - wow! I just started tamoxifen in Jan, and was also told I'll be on this or AI for 5 years. Glad to hear you Dad is doing okay and insurance will pay for glasses - whew! I'll take NED over ARTHURitis any day!
Chrissy - yeah for you, I'm happy to hear you're doing well, that is great news and thanks for sharing the upchuck part too!
NM - such great pics today, love the kitty on the glass floor and OMG the pooch and the big dust bunny - and I love the DOTD, yeah!
Goldie - thanks for sympathies about my fam stuff, it's been driving me nuts and I just have to stay out of it from now on, stay away from stuff that is toxic to me so I can heal. Your mom sounds frustrating too, but like you say, you love her and I sure love my fam, just have trubble dealing with em sometimes. That's so funny you found Dilligafs B&G!! Great pics I really enjoyed them!
Dorthy - It was me, but I got all shy after I posted me pic and really Bullwinkle is the real me! Actually Natasha wasn't bad either...I really wanted to have long black hair. I watched Adams Family as a kid and wanted hair like Morticia, so funny you would think I had black hair. Anyway, thanks for the nice words!!
Stanzie - Your avatar is so cool! Sure hope your BILs surgery goes okay. I was just reading about your candy adventure too then realized I have gotta get on the snow, so I will hafta come back a lil later to finish catching up.
You gals are all so totally awesome and wunnderful. Thinking of you all Kymn, HD, Dee hope I dint miss anyone...Take it EZ N See you at happy hour!

Hi girlfriends,
Got to my PS appt b4 2 pm and didn't leave there till 5pm! He is SO busy, even has patients come to him from NY. Yippee....I will have another surgery, but glad of it. I ended up with the fat settling on the sides, under my arms and HATED IT...ins won't cover lipo, but he said it will cover cutting it out....I will have a scar on ea side...big deal, I will just be glad to have it gone! That made me SO happy, as that was the only part I have hated. I showed my boobs to the scheduling lady, and she was so impressed, she couldn't quit talking about them....said I should show them off. She said I should wear a tube top and let it slip....oops.....and show my boobs to everyone....LOL. Downfall is that they can't do it till the end of June unless there is a cancellation.
Oh my, what excellent pics again! Beans, I need a scale like that! Would be a good reminder. Sawwy the link didn't work, Dorothy. I tried to get it on youtube, but when it would load it kept closing down my computer, so I didn't want to give THAT link to anyone. THe link I sent was from the tv station, but maybe it won't pull up the individual videos? Anyway, if they do the wiener race here, maybe a better link will be posted.
Love all the uses for pads and tampons......so funny though!
I am having a late happy hour all by my lonesome. Sob....will need to cry in my dwink! Loving the new floor....hired that guy to put a new kitchen faucet at the townhouse, which he did after the floor. I figured he could do a lot of things. Where is everyone????? After all, it is THIRSTday still... Oh hi Kymn, I didn't even see you, my eyes were focused on my typing! GOOD to see ya here! Nice to have someone to drink with! Hey, wanna take our drinks in the casino and try our luck? Gotta grab that free money from the ATM on the way in, though! Cheers! CaChink!
But.....DILLIGAF??????
Kathy

Highlow everyone, yes it IS Thirst-dey and I am so excited that twomorrow is Fried-dey. I am popping in for some dwinks and some gambling.
Kathy, no worries on the WD races, as I said, I have seen them on youtube and surely will be on the news this weekend if this is the weekend of the big race. Those races just cwack me up. And you go girl, you wear that tube top and let those purdy girls out. I still touch mine alot at work and "rotate" them and now and then get caught. I do it when I am on the phone with a client or agent. Mine are not yet pretty enough to show off but they still feel so good.
Kymn, come on, let's go to the casino with Kathy, funny as my HD is in Atlantic City tonight with his DD (prior marriage). I did not have the balls to ask for the day off tomorrow so he went without me. And check it out, they have AI on the big screen at the casino.
Oh, I misspoke in my earlier post about the dust bunny pic, at a quick glance, I thought it was a kitty and not a dog. Ya see, I sneak into BCO while at work. I am not sure if I should be there but I guess the internet police would block it if they did not want me there. I like to mention that I am taking a "break", that way if anyone in management said anything, I will tell them it was during my break. I try to read the posts and comprehend everything then quickly close them before a boss steps into my cubicle office. I get paranoid, especially cause I am dwinking on the job (as if they do not know)!!! DILLIGIF??? Really, now does it?
Let's dwink, Pants, bring me a double and the other girls triples since i started before them. Oh look, a lot of noise over there, seems someone just hit big, is that Junie??
Cheers, ears and dogbeers. Sounds good to me anyway

That was me Dorothy and just in time i need that money as i just ordered 4 beau beau's today .Hope they fit and look good.Cheers Kathy I was prolly behind pants when you came in checking out his assets lol thats why you didnt see me right away. I am having a nice glass of wine right now but its just not cutting it. Pants bring me a rye and diet and a round for my girls. I think we shoud go skinny dipping so kathy can show off her ta ta's lol. Anyone else care to join us.0
-
I'll join you Kymn as long as you don't mind one missing and one hung low? I can do with a little exercise as I'm just too damn spoiled sitting her being waited on....LOL
0 -
Why Chrissy, you deserve to be pampered. And you know we don't mind that you have a missing girl and her former twin is a saggin, we still love you. My girls are not too purdy right now either but I will show them off just the same.
Kymn, why is it that when I look at Pants' assets, he gets embarrassed yet when you look, he shakes it up for you and let's you touch? Hmmmm......
Ok, night night girls, it is nearly 10pm and it is time to count sheep! Sleep well my breast friends ♥

Nite Dotty! Count well.

Yeah, Chrissy, Don't do any exercize yet! No worries about TaTa's.......we have all shapes and sizes here! Hope you don't have to take the pain meds too long.....and not a good subject, but those stool softeners sorta are necessary with the pain meds, so hope you have all the bases covered.
Ok Kymn, need you to decipher the Canadese...what are "beau beaus"???? Sounds pretty risque to me....lol. I may pass on the skinny dipping...my tatas are good, but the rest of me isn't! I even talked to my PS about tummy tuck, face lift, all the stuff to be gawgeous...well, yeah if I had $30k sitting around with nowhere to put it but in my PS's hands! I couldn't believe how much $$$ it is! Guess we are lucky the bc recon's are covered! But they took those naked pics again...yuck! And I had never gone back for my "after" pic, so had to do that too. Needed a stiff drink after that!
Ohhh....DH said an earthquake hit Hawaii, but no injuries or damage, and about half the strength of the NZ one. Sure a whole lotta quakin' going on! Hope everyone stays safe if the storms hit tonight!
ChEARS,
Kathy

Wishing you all a very happy happy hour! Luv n Hugs ~ bEaN

Kathy, hope the quake in Hawaii didn't damage too much and no-one was hurt?!
No exercise wanted really just wanted to sit in the pool and try to look cool.....lol.....oh by the way, got all bases covered well with the pain meds things are movin along just nicely an coz I'm being a good girl, I think I'll just have a coffee tonight........or ....maybe.....if I visit the percotini fountain as well, I might just be able to have a glass or two of wine.......yup! that's even better than coffee. Who's on the deck tonight? Did I see Beanie poke her head in the door? Enjoy your night girls!
TITZ UP!! Arms too if you can!!!....LOL

Kathy - quick pop in - so if the fat settled under your arms - why won't insurance pay for it as it wouldn't have happened if you hadn't had BC? Just wondering since I have blobs under my arms but he says it is muscle so probably can't do much unless the nerves didn't get cut all the way - hmm? I had such a tramatic picture at the first PS this one never even tried to take pictures which I was and still am very grateful about.
Sorry to hear about Hawaii! So much is going on these days.
Just got word about my BIL - not as good as hoped for. they did the colostomy but found the cancer is attached to the bone and inoperable so they will be doing chemo and radiation. No idea what kind of prognosis that gives him - he is 72 in wonderful shape and totally healthy other than this wretched cancer!
0 -
nite dotty nite Chrissy so glad your feeling better, I am ok with saggy mine dont exactly stand up and salute anymore either but while I still have them i will show them off lol
0 -
Hi Stanzie, I prolly wasn't clear in my earlier post....sawwy! Yes, because he can cut it out it should be covered, but wouldn't be covered if I wanted lipo there instead. OR at least that is what he says....they go exactly by the book. I know others whose PS' have done lipo there and coded it as being caused by bc., but miine sure won't do that. But I was thrilled to know that I can have it done this way and have it covered. Yours is muscle???? Strange, huh. Shoot, I hate to hear that about your BIL. Hoping and praying they can kick butt on that cancer with chemo & rads. Poor guy, it'll be a rough journey.
Glad everything is moving along, Chrissy!
Already under tornado watch, and storm hasn't arrived yet, will be here a little later tonight. Hope you are watching the weather too, Stanzie.
Don't want any of this...
- Or this.....

Kathy - I stopped caring about naked pix a long time ago. Somehow my body doesn't seem like a private space anymore!
I'm having a crabby happy hour. DH complains about my cats all the time and sometimes I just don't want to hear it anymore. I've told him many times why his animosity toward them bothers me but he just can't stop himself. He didn't even seem like he was in a bad mood, but he started in on DD2... nag, nag, nag (oops, that's what they call it when wives do it - what is it called when men harp on something?) I'm going to hang out at HTL until he's finished bitching. (oops again... what do they call it when men bitch?)
... ok Ima hava nuther coctail cuz I still mad

Kymn, Found an online pic of Grassy Lake that I mentioned to you awhile ago. We stayed in a cabin in Canmore, and hiked uphill to this lake (a kid at the library told us about it). IT was so awesome and you could look to the bottom, with gorgeous greens (I have a neat pic but would have to find it in my files). Included comment from the photographer of this photo:
Grassy Flats Canmore by PJE (20480)
"There is a man who works in Vallhalla Pure in Abbotsford who gave me the suggestion to check out Grassy Flats in Canmore Alberta. He said it was a must see and I was glad I made the hike up to this lake. Its tucked in just below one of the Three Sisters and its only an hour hike from the trail head.
I have not seen a lake with these amazing blue green colors anywhere in my life and this lake really captivated my attention. Below the surface a huge underwater boulder and across on the other side a pathway to circle around to the second lake. Both are a must see if you enjoy the outdoors and hiking in the Rockies. Enjoy."I agree with this person....it was really an amazing sight...hard to capture. Not sure how far you live from Canmore, but wondered if you have been here? Of course the lakes in nearby Banff were so awesome, but we really liked this little lake.
Gail, HOPE your DH will stop his nagging......I have this sign....Kwitcherbellyachin....sounds appropriate right now!

Rules Of Etiquette For Inexperienced Cats
*Download Printer Friendly Document* If you have to throw up, get into a chair quickly. If you cannot manage this in time, get to an Oriental rug. Shag is good.Determine which guest hates cats. Sit on that lap during the evening. They won't dare push you off and will even call you "nice kitty." If you can arrange to have cat food on your breath, so much the better. For sitting on laps or rubbing against trouser legs, select colors which contrast with your own.Always accompany guests to the bathroom. It is not necessary to do anything. Just sit and stare. For guests who say, "I love kitties," be ready with aloof disdain, claws applied to stockings or a quick nip on the ankles.Do not allow closed doors in any room. To get one open, stand on hind legs and hammer with forepaws. Once the door is opened for you, it is not necessary to use it. You can change your mind. When you have ordered an outside door opened, stand half in and half out and think about several things. This is particularly important during very cold weather or mosquito season. If one person is busy and the other is idle, sit with the busy one. For book readers, get in close under the chin, unless you can lie across the book itself. For ladies knitting, curl quietly into lap and pretend to doze. Then reach out and slap knitting needles sharply. This is what she calls a dropped stitch. She will try to distract you. Ignore it. For people doing homework, sit on the paper being worked on. After being removed for the second time, push anything movable off the table -- pens, pencils, stamps -- one at a time. When it becomes time to dislodge a fur ball, choose the dining room at dinner time. When your owner returns home laden with packages, fall down in front of them -- this works best on steps, all the better if the individual is proceeding downward. There is always the chance you may get stepped on, but this usually guarantees a fall and if you milk the guilt that follows it is usually worth it.Should you run into a closed sliding glass door or do anything stupid, never let on as much and go about your business as if "I meant to do that.".If you allow a dog to share your domain you are in luck. Should you tatter the drapes or destroy anything for which you fear retribution, wait until your owner is nearby, slap the dog and run for it. Dogs are stupid and will accept blame for anything. If this ruse should fail simply run and hide. No one really expects to catch a cat.Chase, frolic, and run from invisible entities. The why doesn't matter, it is just expected.Get enough sleep during the daytime so that you are fresh for playing at night between 2 and 4 a.m.Final Note: ALWAYS walk ON the keyboard!
