how about drinking?

I am just getting on to dinner. Started with wine, but have rutabaga and Yukon Gold potatoes a-roasting in the oven.
I too am thinking about Chrissy.
Had the most fun conversation with one of the young women who manages the building. We are both skiers so were comparing notes. As in, we are sore in the same places!!! (Quads are talking to both of us big time.) We are also thrilled to have it snowing outside, as more great skiing in the offing.
She is also learning to appreciate wine. I am really so proud of her as she has had a very challenging time of it and is doing just great in life.
I need to do downhill skiing again too. Certainly next winter if I don't get there in the next couple of weeks.
Nice and toasty tonight, and mellow from the wine. Life is great. - Claire

Look at me I figured out how to put in a picture yippeeeee. That definetly is time to celebrate Pants a round for all the women in my circle. thank you ladies I love you
WOMEN IN MY CIRCLE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------When I was little,
I used to believe in the concept of one best friend,
And then I started to become a woman.
And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,
God would show you the best in many friends. One friend is needed when you're going through things with your husband or male friend,
Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom.
Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your children and their activities.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.
One friend will say, 'Let's cry together,'
Another , 'Let's fight together,'
Another , 'Let's walk away together.'One friend will meet your spiritual need,
Another your shoe fetish,
Another your love for movies,
Another will be with you in your season of confusion,
Another will be your clarifier,
Another the wind beneath your wings. But whatever their assignment in your life,
On whatever the occasion,
On whatever the day,
Or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,
Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ..
Those are your best friends. It may all be wrapped up in one woman, But for many, it's wrapped up in several..
One from 7th grade,
One from high school,
Several from the college years,
A couple from old jobs,
On some days your mother,
On some days your neighbor,
On others, your sisters,
And on some days, your daughters.
So whether they've been a friend for 20 minutes or 20+ years,
AND ONLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO,
Pass this on to the women that God has placed in your life
To make a difference. Including the one who sent it to you.
Thanks for being in my circle.0 -
OH Danm Damn Damn the pictures didnt work booo hooooo oh well guess that means we all need another round, sorry girls I will figure this out one day

Haha Lori! I'm not sure how to do mine... I had the implants replaced after the nip/areola surgery so they aren't in the same place on both sides and I still have a dent... sort of like ( o ) { 0)... I'm thinking about getting tatts to correct the shape of the areolas. I wanted to get hearts tattooed on instead of nips but DH thought that was too weird.
My house smells yummy. DD2 works at a bakery and has been bringing home bread every night so I made Claire's yummy bread pudding and I baked some croutons with a lot of butter and herbs at the same time. Dinner was braised escarole, apples and grapes with rosemary, and porkchops. Oh, and a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Can't wait till the bread pudding cools a little -- it smells heavenly! Thanks, Claire.

No worries Kymn....you will get the hang of it soon! Just ask Stanzie, she has mastered it now!
Gail, Can I come to dinner....huh...can I, can I, can I ????? Sounds sooooooo yummy!!!! Bet your family enjoyed it.
Shoot...I keep losing my posts! Anyway, gotta hit the hay as I have to get up super early again (and I am NOT a morning person!). Sorta pisses me off that about half the boxes of flooring had been opened and taped up, AND most of the flooring in those boxes has a lot of defects so I am having to pull them aside. Me thinks someone had a big job and took the best pieces and filled other boxes with all bad pieces and then returned them. Not supposed to do that! Cause the boxes that had the ties on them had MUCH better quality pieces. aaarrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! But if it ends up looking good (fingers crossed) it will be sooo nice to cover up this subfloor we have walked on for 6 months! Nitey night girlz!
DILLIGAF (I am liking that, junie!)

I need to try braised escarole. Sounds yummy, and couldn't face kale or chard again.
I ate some more of the pud today. Am anxiously awaiting your verdict, Gail.
Lady I made it for last Friday said it tasted "like something you would get in a restaurant", but then, I am a much better cook.
One of my faves, and so easy.

Claire - it is awesome! I served it slightly warm with just a little whipped cream. I would not hesitate to serve this to dinner guests, especially since you can pop it in the oven while you're finishing dinner and it smells so good. Now if I could just figure out what to do with excess kalamata bread...

Gail. There is a savory version with cheese (think cheddar). Would be orgasmic with kalamata olive bread. Plus wine and a salad. - Claire

DD broke up in hives today....woke up with a large area on her stomach....but anti-itch creme helped and it went away....then this afternoon, more hives....lookes like welts....so off to the doctor.....doctor said it was probably related to the virus she had and the "body was winning" and the virus was ending...he gave her Rx benadryl.....poor DD was miserable by dinner time....hives were spreading...she was a mess.....thankfully by bedtime, hives were gone....hoping none reappear in the morning.....We both had the day off from school as it was a 4 day week-end, but she doesn't want to miss school tomorrow....
Talked to mom this morning and dad was sore. His pcp said for dad to have abraisins checked at the hospital...he sees pcp on the 28th (already scheduled appt and pcp didn't see need to see dad sooner since ER didn't give dad any meds)....I'm not sure where the doctors office is in relation to the hospital or if it is connected...the doctor is a psychiatrist....his sec'y was so worried about dad that he went to see dad in the ER.....I thought about the sueing bit....I think it would be the office bldg that is responsible....don't know if it was in the parking lot or on the walkway just outside the bldg.....Ddin't talk to mom tonight, so no updates....will talk to her tomorrow.....
Calling all canuks!!!! Any good leads on cheap Rx...my DD told me what they pay for Rx a month and I just about had a coronary....they don't have Rx coverage...and since they already take Rx, any coverage stinks and is over priced.....I'm going to google and see what I can find out....Not sure why her in-laws wouldn't have the info as they are native Torontonians!!!! TIA
I'm guessing that Chrissy has already had her surgery...forget the time difference between OZ and Denver....I also wondered what OZ stood for...or should I say, where the abbreviation came from.....Chrissy....thinking of you and wishing you and easy recovery....
Kathy....Where do your parents live? My parents have been in S. FL since 2001...moved from Cincy....they love it there....retirement community with all sorts of activities and friends...but it is so far from denver.....as long as mom is healthy they will stay put....Never thought I would be part of the sandwich generation.....was talking to a friend about this and friend said his sister said everyone is part of the sandwich generation!!!! he goes, she doesn't get it!!!! My parents are on the young side, but when my mom was my age (54), she had been empty nest for over a dozen years....I'm still raising kids!!! I can't complain about that as I'm thrilled to still have my youngest DD at home...she was very planned and very wanted!!! My mother had kids young...or maybe I should say I had kids older and "old"...I was turning 42 when Miriam was born!!!
Junie....love those 2 abbreviations you wrote...but it took me a couple times reading them to get it.....
NM...just forgot what I wanted to say about your post.....
Claire...skied out!!!! you must have really over done it to say that....
Think I need to start taking notes, so I can respond to everyone, or most everyone....I think this is one of the most fun threads at bco.....
3 month check up with onc right after work tomorrow.....wanted to get some things organized for the appt....but I'm too tired to do it now....so unless I get up early tomorrow, it won't get done....at least, I need to write down all my current meds and any questions I want to ask him...DD #1 wants me to ask him about connection between the pill and bc....she has been on the pill for 7 going on 8 years due to ruptured ovarian cysts...she said today that she wants to quit taking it, if it increases her risk of bc.....she currently has a cyst on one of her ovaries, but is asymptomatic...they found it from a transvaginal US after an abnormal pap, blood in her urine and I forget the other issue....she keeps getting UTI's....and of course they don't know why...she is on a strong antibiotic because the last one did not clear up the UTI....DD is only 24...
Going to go make my lunch, take some ibuprofen and ambien and crawl into bed....sweet dreams one and all.....Hugs, karen

I think tomorrow is kalamata strata day! And I'll have to get in an extra workout to burn some carbs.

Karen--you were going along so well with your long post, then got to me, and I LOL! Thanks for making my morning brighter!
JB--don't worry about getting to know us, it will come with time and enough booze. And we NEVER pour our own drinks here, we get waited on hand and foot! That's why the glasses, mugs, etc are so big, and why there are straws that are 4 feet long--they fit from the glass to wherever we are, whatever position we happen to be in at the time!
Chrissy--Here's to a quick and painless recovery. The percotini fountain is all up and running, ready for you whenever you can get in. Oh, look, Pants is getting out the lovely, comfy recliner that massages and has heat and cold and parking it next to the Percotini fountain! Which side do you want to be on, the right or the left?
karen--often the doc's office buildings are owned by the hospital, so it's all one big happy family. Injuries that occur in the building, on the walkways between buildings and parking areas and in parking lots are the responsibilty of the owner of the business. IF you want to go that route. Best to ask about the billing--will it be billed to insurance? Probably shouldn't be.
Kymm--are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer? The pics thing works differently for each one I've found. It's crazy!
Lots of stuff going on today. I got a call yesterday, can pick up some work today so I've got to get on the ball and get myself organized and out the door. Gotta remember to take out the trash, too, before I leave. I've missed the trash pick up the last couple of weeks and it's building up in the basement. . . .
DOTD: Trashcan Punch
2 parts Everclear
3 parts Fruit Punch
1 part Fruits
Best served in a Punch Bowl.Slice the fruit. I recommend strawberries, oranges, lemons, and limes. Then mix the punch and everclear together in a clean trashcan with ice. Hawaiian punch is my preference, but you can use any sort of fruit punch. Make sure you use ice and have a blast.

Morning Loungettes! Karen, You are right about this being one of the most fun (I think the MOST fun) threads at bco......that is our main focus....having fun! This is after all, the Drinking Thread and we are a fun bunch of gals!
NM, Ohhhhh *memories*....is that everclear like grain alcohol? I think I mentioned that "punch" we made when I was first married....soooo potent but tasted like grape juice! Hope you day goes well!
Karen, My parents live in Hawaii....we all grew up there, and go back to my Great-Great-Grandparents arrival from the island of Madeira, Portugal. My GGG'pa invented the ukulele with 2 other men that were on the same vessel. So he is in the book of Hawaiian history. My mom has lived on the mainland for several yrs with her late DH (my late stepdad), and my parents remarried a few yrs ago, when both were widowed. My dad has never left the islands, and, at 94, I am not so sure he will ever *really* want to move.Hoping he will, though!
OH, in all our explanations of the stuff we have at the HTL....for the newbies....we also have those little drink umbrellas that we put over our boobs when we are getting the nips done....so we can still lie in the sun, but protected! Sooooo much here, it is just a real utopia. Well, gotta get moving so I won't still be in my bathrobe with the flooring installer gets here. Hoping and praying he does a good job and it looks like it matches well, and he doesn't get injured (we have had our share of that with workers!). I don't even care what he looks like....welll.....maybe if he looks like eye candy that WOULD be a plus....LOL.
ChEARS and DILLIGAF,
Kathy

Kathy, that is terrible about your flooring! How could they even think they could get away with that. I am so sorry. That's probably why they made you wait so long. They were waiting for the other person to finish up so they could give you their leftovers! I hope there is enough there for you to finish.
Karen, glad to hear your dad is doing ok and your DD as well. We use to get Rx's in Mexico. At first we would just drive to the border and walk over. Then found out that one of the places we went to had an online store as well. Never had any problems. medsmex.com Haven't been there in years, as we have coverage now. Expensive, but we have it!
Love the lawyer cartoon NM and the trashcan drink. I think we have Jocks and Hunk drag it out by the pool and get us all one of those straws. I so have a visual of that......lol!
0 -
Oh My Lori.....Is he really hiding a hump behind those pillows....LOL. Happy Hump Day to you too.....nice to be midweek for those that are employed. Well, installer isn't eyecandy, but young, and very polite....as long as he does the work good! Showed him the defective boards, and realized only 3 out of 8 boxes were still sealed...the other 5 were "restocks". LIke when contractors do a job and pull all the bad boards out and repack them in a box and return them, only having to pay a small restocking fee! $hit! Not fair to then sell them to us as new merchandise, not supposed to even be seconds. Wish I had realized that when we first got the wood delivered last week.
Well girlz have a good Hump Day...esp with the good visual Lori supplied us with! And we can enjoy NM's drinks. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Hi Beautiful Friends, Been having UN-FUN with more fam issues...nothing I did, just some of the others aren't getting along and with all the phone calls and melodrama it's driving me crazy. Anyway, I got over here to the mountains and it's been snowing. Not a lot, all is well here. I couldn't believe how much stuff I could fit in my car and it took forever to unload. Now it's all in these huge piles in my garage - aaarrrgghh!
Been wantin advice from junie on going thru all this garage and attic full of @!!! and I agree there's too much, but how will we ever agree on what gets dumped?? I mean I look at all HIS stuff and think "I really don't need THAT" and he looks at all MY stuff and thinks it's junk. Should be fun spring cleaning at our house...I better start drinking now! cHairs n Dog Beers, Please!!! ~Beans
P.S. All my dust bunnies and their great grand kitties got here safely too!

AAARRRRGGGHHHHH...don't know what stupid key I am hitting on the teeny puter, but darn it I had a long post and hit that stupid key and *poof*.....$hit that is frustrating!
Anyway, want to say that I am so glad you made it there safely Beans! Sounds beautiful with all that snow. So sorry though for the family $hit...seems to have hit a lot of us lately. Hoping that will calm down and not rear its ugly head again. Poor dear, you are too sweet to have to be dealing with that. Some Hugs for you (((Beans))). I really was ROFLMAO at your post though. I can relate....much easier to get rid of "his" stuff! LOL. Hoping junie can help you there...she and her DH did a good job of purging. IF she is not up to it, check out the flylady.com website....lots of good ideas on how to purge, organize, etc.
The flooring guy is STILL working....came here at 8:30 am and it is now 5:30 pm...he'll prob work another hr or so then some in the morning. And he is doing an excellent job....really looking good!!!! Yay for finally covering up the subfloor! BUT that means I am LATE for happy hour....will not be able to join youse galz for a little bit. Can someone puleez dwink for me....pwetty pwease????? I will join you all soon.........

I'm thinking DILLIGAF (pronounced Dilly Gaff) should be our lounge mascot~~
0 -
LOL NM....cute mascot, but I agree about the DILLIGAF as something that we should adopt as our byline! And your pic is spot on!
YAY I finally got to open some moscato and dig in.Cannot believe after all these months we not only found the flooring to match, but found a very dedicated installer. DH already gave him a BIG tip, as his work is awesome! It is so amazing to see beautiful flooring again, and esp in the hall replacing the carpet.
Thanx to whoever started dwinking for me at 5....I knew you all would come to my rescue!
DILLIGAF?

Kathy.... Thrilled about the flooring.
Beans....One of my friends asks her family to rent her a dumpster each year for Mother's Day.
Just got in from my walk. Snowing. Sure glad I didn't register for the Chilly Hilly (did the short version last year) as most likely will be icy. Getting revved up for skiing which should be fantabulous.
And a glass of good wine to celebrate getting out some of my other consulting work. Headway is good.
AM seminar has been postponed again. Talk to you later. Glad I don't have to get up for the seminar. - Claire

Hey, Beans.....(and sorry, so hard to read all the posts and think how much chatter is here that I just can't absorb and respond to;.......) but, wanted to tell Beans that we managed to pitch 4 dumpsters full of stuff without ONE argument or whine--somehow, it just worked out fine!!!! Even today, there is not one thing I miss AND am still finding little things that I am tossing away!! (Now, on he back side of all this good get rid of shit, I am also ordering NEW shit as fast as I can find it on--line!!!! Can't wait for my newest order to be delivered!!!!)(don't panic!!! some of this is to replace ancient stuff that we each brought into the relationship like 25 yrs ago------this is all good!!)
Had me a DILLY Day!!!! falls within the DILLIGAF......am learning to laugh when I am so friggin' irritated I could scream! DH does his damdest best and I write down what I want from store and boy, do we have some funny incidents.........ref'ing some purchases from above, I bought new lamps for several rooms--so "light bulbs" was on DH shopping list today......he came home with TWO bulbs. I was flabbergasted--he was so proud of whatever energy wonder things he'd found and had me reading about them.....and I finally had to ask---what about the other 3 lamps on order?????? And, that man doesn't miss a beat--"all but two of the lamps are on back order; I'll get more light bulbs when those ship......." I had to Laugh!!!!!
We fired up another portable oxy tank and off to dinner with friends tonight; had such a good time. Miss Hunky Dory--I came home with a handful of $1 scratch offs ( the Keno games sucked the big one!!!).....so, am having fun with those and have broke even with what we paid and still have some to scratch off tomorrow--everyone think S E V E N!!!!!!
maybe that little oxyco whatever pill is kicking in and time for me to grab some dog beers and head to the pool!!!
huggggsssssss to ALL!!!!!!!

Another busy day... ended up in San Francisco, which wasn't even on my schedule but there were problems to solve. Picked up my trench coat while I was there and you'll never guess what I found in the pocket... my debit card! I already killed it so it doesn't really matter but I was wondering what the heck I did with it. I've never put a card in my pocket before. Weird.
Beanie - sorry your family is cranky. I prefer to see mine online but even then it can be difficult when someone has a hissy-fit. Maybe we should read this:
I know what you mean about the junk purge... been meaning to do that myself. DH wants to have a garage sale. The only thing I hate more than going to garage sales is having one at my house. Plus, all that junk is good stuff!
NM - I like your DILLIGAF.
Junie - Men can't shop. I think there is something wrong with them.
Got a glass of wine and I'm heading for the Jacuzzi cuz tomorrow there may be a storm coming in and I need to warm the old bones...
Nighty-night all!

HI Loungettes...is that our name for each of us??!! saw my onc today for 3 month check up..I graduated to 6 month visits....I wondered if/when that would ever happen....as he was filling out the paperwork for my next appt, onc looked through my file and said Feb 2006, then he goes come back in 6 months......Needless to say, I am happy about less frequent visits...Wonder if I should start seeing my BS surgeon again....move her appt to in between one of the onc appt....I skipped my visit last year and haven't scheduled and appt for this year...seemed silly to see both within weeks of each other.....
I stopped taking AI's in March 2010 after enduring them for 3 1/2 years. At the end of my visit, my onc said to let him know if I ever wanted to try an AI (or tamox) again...I told him I doubted I would, but if I did, how long would I have to take it....{he says that your not covered when not taking it (duh!!)}...but his answer was get this 5 years!!!!! and possibly 10!!!! Forget the number of the study, but onc said I think 4000 women were enrolled...the study is now closed and it will take several years to have the definitive results....but the thinking is leaning to 10 years!!!!! I made a comment about another 5 years and at least he said, if having problems stop....thats when I said, I endured 3 1/2 years....and onc agreed with that comment.....So he will continue to watch me closely.....and at this point in time have no desire to take AI's....
Mom took Dad back to the ER today to have his wounds checked....arm looks good and so does eye......Dad has to get new glasses...his can't be fixed, but Mom said insurance will pay for them...I told Mom what you gals said, but I think it just went by her....don't think she even wants to think about sueing....as long as Dad is okay is all she really cares about....
I told onc that my knees hurt when its cold...and he said it sounds like arthritis....so do you think husband is jealous of all my male friends....1st there is NED and now arthuritis....wonder who else I can add to the list.....
NM.....I'm glad that I made you smile....
I'm falling sleep while writing...well it feels that way,...but you know by the time I get the laundry out of the dryer and then walk down the hall to bed, I won't be able to fall asleep!!!
Wishing everyone sweet dreams and a good Thursday......Any news from Chrissy?

Hi girls, I survived to fight another round!!!!! Thanks for all the company it was just grand and much appreciated by me but the surgeon got a bit uppity when Dotty stood on his toe just coz she wanted a closer view.........lol..... mind you, I didn't feel a thing. I'm back at my DD1's house being waited on by her and the grand sons....bless their little hearts. Just had another upchuck and GS2 was up getting me water and tissues and turning the fan on me so I didn't overheat. I have a feeling that i'm gonna hafta add mophine to my list of no-no drugs as this has happened the last three times it's been given. Overall, I'm feeling pretty good and the pain is not nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be.....thank goodness! Obviously there are restrictions of movement while it heals but in general, it's all good. Well now, I think I may need to visit the percotini fountain and find myself a comfy hammock..................Oh, what did I miss? DILLIGAF?..................explanation please!....................PaNtZ!!! DOTD please and keep 'em coming!!!!
TITZ UP!!!!!

Wahine-great news about the flooring! It make so much difference to a room, doesn't it?
Claire-"Chilly Hilly"? Sounds cold and painful to me!Junie-sounds like you and DH are making progress in a number of ways! Good for you guys! "I'll get more light bulbs when those ship" how like a man! They do think differently. Good luck with the scratch offs.
AStorm-finding your debit card in your trench coat isn't as good at find a $20 bill in the pocket of your winter coat, but it's still good. At least you know no one was trying to use it! Glad your Dad is doing so well. Hope he gets his new spectacles soon.
Chrissy! Welcome back! Glad you did well, and even more glad you are getting waited on so well! DILLIGAF stands for Do I Look Like I Give A Fu(#? We're kicking around the idea of adopting the little guy as our mascot. Point out which hammock you want, and where you want the percotini fountain and the Tenders will set you right up.
I've started my own junk purge. I've started clearing out the sewing room, which for several years now has been the stuff-it-in-there-until-I-figure-out-what-to-do-with-it-room. I literally could not get in any further than the doorway. I can now get to the back wall on one side and have thrown away 3 big bags of garbage! Amazing what can be done 7 minutes at a time. (I work on that for 7 minutes, then work on paperwork for work for 30 minutes, then 7 minutes of cleaning, etc).
DOTD: The New Floor

2 shots Spiced Rum
2 shots Cinnamon Liqueur0 -
WooHoo, Welcome Back, Chrissy!!!! You are so funny......and so alert...how were you awake enough to see Dotty step on the drs foot??? LOL. When I had my bilat mast I got nauseaus from the morphine too, so they gave me something for that. Can you get a pill from dr to help with that? Yes, get the most comfy hammock and Jocks will stand there and fan you, and you can use those long straws to go all the way into the perco fountain, and just R-E-L-A-X! Ha, ha, it was junie that invented the DILLIGAF....she adapted it from something similar, and it means... "Does It Look Like I Give A F##k?". Oh, we are an intersting group of girlz! SO glad you are doing okay though!!!!
Gail, I had to laugh when AStorm mentioned "a storm" coming in. On a serious note, hope it isn't severe. We may get severe weather overnight, possibly tornadic, hail, etc. My DH is a big grocery shopaholic...I mean we are a couple of miles from a grocery store, BUT he feels we have to have our own store here. He salivates when he looks at the huge pantry in my parents new home here. We have 2 large refrig/freezers full, plus he now has overfill at the townhouse fridge; we have cupboards full in kitchen, plus a wardrobe in the garage as a pantry. Sheesh.....my kids know they can come here in an emergency and we can all eat for a long time! He is getting a LITTLE better after seeing all the frozen food I had to toss out when we got our new fridge....not fun throwing money away! Laffing and very glad that you found your Debit Card....of all places!
Karen, Glad your dad is improving! And nice that you got off the AI's last year. I have been lucky that I never had to take anything. Yes, NED, ARTHURritis, and some of us have had HISterectomy.....too many men in our lives...lol.
Thanks Claire, about the floor comment. It looks sooooo goood! Had to get up early again, as he will be back soon to finish up, then I have an appt with my PS this afternoon. Was hoping to see DD and g'kids at the park downtown, but now the storms may be starting by then.
Junie, YAY on another successful outing! So glad you are feeling more mobile....way to go girlfriend! And soooo funny about the light bulbs! As you can imagine, I prob have 10 yrs worth....and mostly the newer CFL's (sp?). You could've come here and loaded up! So nice to have you posting again and sharing those hirlarious moments. VERY GOOD to be laffing istead of fuming!!
NM, It took so long for me to type, that I almost missed your post! Thanks also for that funny about the floor!!! AND I love the DOTD....will have to try that when the guy gets finished today! Many thanks!
Haven't heard the latest yet on the NZ Earthquake. What a disaster!
Dorothy, HD, Dee, RCG, Beans, and anyone I missed, HOPE you all are doing great!!!!!!
Hugs,
Kathy

Beans, glad you and dust bunnies and babies made it home safely. Too bad it is with family issues. I'm sure we all have those at some time or another. Ours is with my mom, she just refuses to do anything on her own and then wants to complain. She won't even make a phone call. So I basically just tell her that I'm sorry to hear that, and change the subject, which is what she will do when you tell her "well you can call so and so and get that taken care of". If she doesn't want to hear it, then neither do I love. But I love the woman more than anything!
Kathy, so glad you floor is FINALLY done! BARMEN! Lets not forget about the JP boys (Pratt brothers?)
Gail, glad you found that card! I heard this morning that SF might even get snow!
Karen, 6 month visits! Amazing the things that excite us, eh? As for the AI, I would love to be off of them and was so looking forward to my 5 years (I am half way there) But I think if they told me 10, and I could manage, I would take them. It's like a security blanket. I'm almost afraid to go off of them. Have to wait and see what my bone density is on next test, as the arimidex is having fun with them, eating them up, especially in my hip. Glad to hear your dad is ok!
Junie, you have graduated to going out of the house! Good for you girl, you are getting stronger.
Chissy, you got me crackin up this morning with Dotty wanting a closer view!
As for all the drugs, they affect me the same way. I'm afraid to take anything at home, and after surgeries I refuse most of it cuz it just makes me sick. It's like I can't get the $hit outta my body fast enough. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you.
Well things are starting to pick up for us business wise, spring is just around the corner, as is Friday!
Town and dentist appts. 2morry for us
. This one's for Chrissy!

Hey Gail, I forgot to tell you. I searched in Google Images, heart shaped nipples. They're out there! Kind of cute actually. Didn't want to post a pic, as it is a nudie shot.

Chrissy! Yay, you're back. Sorry that I made your doctor mad, I just wanted to see and make sure he was taking good care of you. Thank you so much for posting, I have been thinking of you. I am very glad to hear that your surgery went well and that you are not having a lot of pain. Let your family pamper you. And I will drink some dog beers for you.
NM,I just love your pics, especially loved the photo of the dust bunny and the kitty cat, so very cute. You are usually first to post in the AM. Although I do not post, I do read.
Junie, your DH sounds like a real character. Very funny about his excuse about the light bulbs being backordered. I hope you both had a great time at dinner last night, glad you are getting out and enjoying yourself. You've come a long way baby! Cheers to you my friend.
Where is Kymn and JB? Join me at the lounge for a drink. And HD and Kitty, MIA?
Hi Lori, it was nice to see you at the lounge, sorry I did not recognize you, I did not have my contact lenses in. Oh I see you, you are flirting with Pants again, I will join you.
Beans, nice to hear from you, sorry that the family is giving you a hard time...I hope things get better for you. And I like your new avatar too but liked the pic of you better. That was you, right?
Claire, I always joke that I need a dumpster to clean my house. My dear sister has been helping me with organization and cleaning since my BMX, my sisters rock and my house looks better than ever. And I know what you mean about the multi-focal contact lenses. I am also near sighted, far sighted and have astigmatism. It took me so long to get used to the blended lenses but I think I finally got it after nearly a year of failure.
Kathy, congrats on the floor, it must be nice given you have had the sub flooring for so long. Sorry the guy was not eye candy but life goes on. As long as his workmanship is quality, it really does not matter. I would write to the store that sold you the flooring that had been opened. As for losing posts, I have no idea how we do it so often. I swear that "they", the BCO folks have a conspiracy against us drunks.
Astorm, glad you found your ATM card. I did the same thing once, went crazy looking for the card. I had it replaced and found mine in a blazer pocket nearly a year later. Although finding the card now after it was deactivated, at least you have peace of mind in knowing it never got into someone else's hands.
Stanzie, are you finished your jury duty? Most people hate it. I was a juror on a capital murder case in the early 90's and loved it. Of course getting out of work for several months was sweet.
I fell asleep during Idol last night, I found it boring. I will get glued once they get to the top 12. Well I had better get to work here, I have been here for an hour and only gotten through my emails. Hey I am on break. And DILLIGAF!!! Oh yeah, uh....no.
Cheers, I am popping in for a dwinky poo, don't tell. Mums the word....
