Silly DorK....I was here last night, but you were sleeping...zzzzzzzzz. HOPE you didn't weally sleep since 8 am as in your post....LOL! I was the one that provided a soft landing for Kymn's zip line ride. But I have been awfully bizzy, so sawwry I haven't been on as much as I would like. THEN when I did a LONG post yesterday am, I lost it.....sheeeeeet! Too easy to hit the wrong keys on this netbook. If we ever get a heat/ac guy that wants to show up so we can get our recently installed unit fixed, then I can use the desktop upstairs again. Hard enough to use the treadmill....have to have the ceiling fan on as well as the built-in treadmill fan on, just to not overheat! Glad you finally got that well-deserved shower!!!
NM, Whew, glad the past 2 days are over with for you! AND that you are feeling bettah. Good luck (although you don't need it; you will ace it) on your 2nd interview!!! YAY! Almost there! Um, uhhhhh, yeah, TMI, but I think Kymn is already used to the "down there" area being sans hair. Never knew about that possible causing probs peeing though....thats funny! Liked your tickly tongue pic! AND the big fat blimpy rat......can I blame my weight gain on being afeard of twisters??? Will indulge in your "Job Interview" dwink....sounds like a good one for morning!
Kymn, That pic of the meth dog was hilarious!!! Thanks for adding the zip line to the HTL. What a fun addition! It was so crowded last night, and Lori kept running in line first, so I think I will try it this am. WhoooHooooo.......wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.........thump! That's fun....still landed hard even though landing area is padded.....cause I have gained weight... .
Sawwry for giving confusing directions to my lounge chair last night, JuneBug! Had to have a *little* fun....LOL. It really WAS funny watching you turn this way and that way though. Here....a fresh icy bucket full of dog bears for you.....forgive me????
Karen, Remember here, you do NOT have to choose which wine to partake in....have them all!!!
Husker, That was funny about one kid thinking you look like a grandma....but remember anyone just a few yrs older than them prolly looks old! I first became a g'ma when I was 47, and looked young then. Ran into someone I had dated just a couple yrs earlier (b4 I met my DH), and he always thought I looked good, and made some comment about how I was throwing Norman Rockwell's depiction of a grandma out the window! That REALLY made my day! And I always have to prove I am over 50 to get a discount, so that helps too! So now my oldest g'dau will be a teenager next month...YIKES!!! But thanks for the comment about not wanting to offend any grandmas.....no offense taken, and I don't think anyone here would take it the wrong way. Esp nice though about the other kids comment....LOL!
Beans, Now don't be working tooooooo hard!!! We miss you here!
And HD, come on down! Where are you? Hoping you aren't still feeling under the weather.
Poor DH spent all day yesterday, till late last night assembling his new grill. Still a little to go, as a part was put in the wrong way at the get-go...why do they always have parts that are just a smidgen different, but they don't mention it in the supposed *directions*???? I had to get him out of several probs with it, as he doesn't usually put things together. I think next time he may listen to me when I say to get one that is ALREADY assembled!!! I did that twice, and don't do grills anymore! LOL.
Humpity, humpity, Pants is up on the wall. Lets all catch him so he won't fall! Happy Hump Day to all!
Kathy

OOPS Lori....takes me so long to post while watching the morning news, that I missed your post! Funny comment about us being in the closet....hope everyone doesn't take that the wrong way! I know you said that cause that is where we go to hide from tornadoes, but you do remember that has another meaning! LOL. Were you sleeping on the zipline last night? I did a couple of quick posts.....maybe I am using invisible ink????? LOL. Have a GR8 day!

Hi Y'all as some people say down here. I have posted but me no see them......? Who is stealing my wonderous posts?
So, to catch up - we are fine but apparently our neighborhood got hit hard by the storms. So many around me don't have power and won't for a couple of more days. When my friend and her kids left yesterday they had a terrible time leaving the neighborhood with all the trees down. Had to have been at least mini tornados as I didn't even have branches down where a few doors down lost huge tree and are covered in debris. My ex who lives about a mile away have trees blocking both ends of his road and a tremendous tree fell one street over fell into two back yards and the whole top of the tree is covering his entire back yard. He said it was horrifyingly scary when it hit. So very bad storms here..... I think more on Friday. I'm at the "top of the hill" and have lost a lot of the big trees right next to my house ( not to say there are not plenty tall enough still to hit the house) but I worry so about lightning strikes as well..... gulp!
Husker - so funny about kid's comments - I worked several years at a pre-school and just stayed in stitches about all their hilarious comments. One little girl had had an accident and she didn't have any underware so I had to go to the lost and found stash. She went with me and we found some that would fit. She looked at them and shook her head saying " I don't know Miss Margaret, those look like the kind to give me a wedgie"! So funny! She wore them but she made a point of pulling on them as she walked by me and turned and made an anguished face. I'm sure you only looked like a Gramma as you are older than the deraded age"10" which most kids deem to be totally ancient till they are 9.
NM - I know your interview will be spectacular and they will be honored by your interest in the position!!! I can't imagine anyone not hiring you on the spot. I'd even hire you but no clue as to what I'd have you do but perhaps keep me entertained with all your cartoon and pictures, jokes and drinks.... Oh yea and all that vast medical knowledge - yup knew there was something I was forgetting! That and the kind compassionate heart.
Kymn - I'm sure your blood tests will be great and have a fabulous trip!
Claire - I'm thinking we need that scone recipe, please???
Astorm - I so admire you for the whole driving thing... my son turns 15 in October he is already checking out cars. He like Mustangs and Corvette's - oh heaven help me!!! I've already told him it will be used and it will be safe other and once we narrow down the safe choices and price range he will be free to pick out the which one of it all..... He looked at me like - "you have got to be kidding, please be kidding" - so I then said Ok you can drive the mini-van - that got him quiet in a hurry.... LOL. I'm wanting to be the first to take him out driving but I know my ex will beat me to it. Now don't get me wrong, I have no desire to teach paralllel parking just that first thrill of driving an actual car.
Karen - Oh, I know kids can and do ride bikes and are perfectly safe - I "should" have my kids ride to school but I'm the one who is chicken. I think because I remember how totally wild and irrisponsible I was riding bikes as a kid.... sigh. That is wonderful she wants to go to the library - does she have a cell phone? I'm sure that would have helped my Mom if we had had cell phones back in the dark ages....
OK< missed it who went ziplining? Isn't it a blast? I took my kids this past fall and it was amazing!!! Loved it! And yes I'm not good with heights. Once before a show they needed someone to climb the scaffolding to check one of the followspots for this futuristic show of Julius Caesar and silly me volunteereed. I climbed up no problem but then because it was so high (90 feet!) it swayed at the top.... well my little hands clenched down on the rail and actually to this day have no memory of anything past that. Found out they had to hold the show 20 minutes - big cost as it is was a Union house- and I have no memory of how on earth anyone got me down..... so if I can do it.... goldie - have you ever done the Groupons in your area - that is how we went zip lining - it was so cheap couldn't pass it up. They have some wonderful deals - you just sign up.
Hello invisible Kathy- I was wondering who I was bumming into in that dark closet - hope you are alright after one of my son's stepped on your foot, the other hit you in the head with that box and my daughter tripped and just knocked you down on the floor and then she sat on you! She really didn't "see" you! Glad you are alright from the storms!
Dorothy - doesn't it just figure something will get you out of the shower or a bath..... why is it enjoying the joys of water gets interrupted - what is that aqua - interrupti?
OK, so back with you all - still wondering who ate my posts....... sniff sniff sniff......

LMAO, Stanzie...you are funny! Darn, I wondered why I emerged from the closet all black and blue! LOL. Anyway, I just sent you a PM, not knowing you had just posted! I like Groupon.com as well as LivingSocial.com....we buy lots of deals from them every week. I finally had to get a folder w/ dividers by month, so I could put the deals in the month they expire. Don't want to forget about any! Good way to get your DS to stop wanting the fancy cars! Don't forget that what you do for the first one, you need to do for the other kids when the time comes. Since I was widowed when that time came, I decided what amount I could get a decent used car for, for my oldest DD. If they wanted something better, THEY could pay the difference! But it backfired a bit on me, as when my youngest DD was ready for a car, she wanted my Buick wagon, as I had gotten a newer wagon. Well, the value was LESS than what I spent on the car for my oldest DD, so I gave her the difference in cash! At least she had gas and fun money for awhile, but that was sorta funny. WQW that is some horrid damage in your area! Glad you were spared. SCARY!!!! We have some tall trees and that is always a scare that it will fall on our house. OR like you said, lightning is scary too, as it does hit houses. Lightning destroyed a house in our neighborhood, hitting it around 1 am when they were asleep (they got out safely), but took it to the foundation. We were in HI, as it was in Dec. Only now are they starting to rebuild it. I had mentioned this earlier,as it is so strange to see the very tall columns left, on the front porch!
Have a GR8 day ladies!

Of course you know what I meant by being in the closet!
I have not tried Groupon, will try and remember to check it out. Had a friend in CA get his daughter her first ride. He got her a jeep that was a stick. It was kind of noisy and she had to shift gears, so that way she couldn't be messing on the phone! Texting and talking.
Beans, I keep forgetting to ask how your reddened area is doing. I think you mentioned going to the doctors?
DorK, you are smelling much better love! j/k

Good to see you back, NM! You are a much better DOTD hostess than I -- you always select the perfect cocktail and your funnies are too much! Really missed you... glad you are feeling better. I know your interviewer will be so impressed... you'll have multiple offers and have to choose!
Speaking of choosing, I'm really not wanting to visit Portland colleges on semester break. I could use a little break for DD1 and DH and I really don't want to leave WD (he is used to sleeping with his peeps!) and corgi cuz she is old and I worry about her... and the contractor will be tearing out the floor in the main bathroom and I worry about what he may find... worry, worry, worry... wish I could just stay home in my quiet house and study.
DD2 drove to a friend's house yesterday... I was thinking it might be time to get on the freeway, but NNNNNOHHH! There is this loopy on/offramp where it looks like you are getting on the freeway but you don't... she freaked out and lost her focus and ran through an intersection without stopping (there was no stop sign. but still...) Truck had to slam on his brakes... then she was nervous and passed her friend's house so I got to give her a lesson on how to turn around in a narrow street... she put the car in reverse while it was still moving! I made more noise than the car - MY BABY! (I mean the car)... made her park and I took over cuz she was too nervous, which of course upset her cuz no one wants to be seen with mom driving. WHEW! I think it's dad's turn to take over driving lessons for awhile... I need a break!
0 -
OMG Gail, I think you not only need to stay in your quiet house and study, but maybe go SOMEWHERE ELSE till DD2 has learned how to drive! Boy, that sure is scary. THANK GOD the truck driver was able to stop. Do they still have drivers ed at school? My youngest DD was at the Math & Science school in Mobile, 6-7hrs away, but they did not offer it, so she took it during the summer. But since we had recently lost her dad, I really didn't care if she crashed (as long as I was the one to die, and not her!). Such a difference than when I was helping my oldest DD practice...not sure who was more worried...me or her. Good luck....might have to stay around the perco fountain for awhile to calm down and THEN go back out with her!!!
Lori, not only groupon.com but livingsocial.com as well. Sometimes they have crap and just online stuff, but most often will have nice restaurants, lessons, etc. Just bought 3 deals this am for a chinese restaurant. Yeah, of course I knew what you meant...I was just kidding ya!
Taking a break from working outside...actually got quite hot! Lots of repairing and painting to do on some areas b4 the rains come back on Friday. DH actually finished the grill today and it works!! YAY!!!! Now to put the huge one out by the road. Hmmmm.......maybe this calls for some champagne? I could smash the bottle over the top of the new grill??? NAH....wouldn't want to waste it!
ChEARS!

Hi girls, whew what a day already and its only 1230, only have a couple of min so will try and catch up quickly. Doc said my blood was a bit low but that was good it was borderline and he says that means it is working????OK then, but on the shitty side he said to expect delays as we are hitting it with another go around tomorrow I prolly wont bounce back as quick and chemo number 3 will be postponed a week, that really disappointed me I just want this done , I dont want any delays I already marked the damn chemo days on the calendar for petes sake lol. Also the nurses and The Onc were shocked that I was still working and that I only missed 4 days of work said I wasnt the norm.....huh....guess they have never visited this site before and seen all the strong woman who still work during treatment . he said you work for me now lol and I said ok then give me a paycheck he laughed, he also liked my wig I know I know I need a picture of it for ya all.lol.
Ok sorry if I forgot anything about the appt will fill you in later have to run
Love and Hugs

Wahine - Yay wahine you are here today! I hate it when a good, fun, long post goes BOINK! and it's gone! JuneBug, that is so cute, I love that name! But wassup wit da wrong directions for JunieBug? Don't worry, I'm not working hard, just working stupid, ha ha ha. I wish I could bore you with all my goofy mishaps that eat my time and produce zero. Part is this slow Internet connection, then I hadda take quite some time to get all the vodka outta my laptop. Just stuff like that...ya know, stupid! LOL at your poor DH and the grill, at the start there was a problem? Oh that's awful when it has to be redone...you were so nice to help him get it done.
NM - Soundez like Ur feeling better, yay! I have sum interview tips for you...
Tip # 1 is to give em yer best smile!
Let them know how cool you are and how hard you work:
Don't act bored (even if you are):
Just go ahead and beg, PWEEEETTYY PWEEESE:
If they say something stupid (most likely) try not to get angry:
And be ready to use the Flying Biotch Slap at any moment:
When itz all over, be sure to get a good night's sleep:
LOL at the DorK's remedby off yer keyboard, ha ha ha ha! Hey, BTW, I use carbonite too and it worked great last yr when my old compac died suddenly. LMAO about the hair down there and the pee direction, OMG how funny! Yeah, the Meth Lab was so funny that Kymn put up!! Great DOTD and again I willy willy hope dat intaview gowes guud!
Goldie - I keep meaning to tell you ma allergies aren't too bad, mostly congestion, tanks for aksing! That is funny about hiding in the closet, what wahine said, and yeah, Billy Bob? Wassup wi dat? And tanks for aksing bout my superboobie, it has calmed down a lot and is feeling more normal...just guess the rads can do fun stuff for quite a while. I have not been yogging or yumping yacks, darn, I miss that, so now I'm just superboob-power-walking and doing joga stetches and of course, poppin a lotta fukitols and margatoonis. I bet you are having gorgeous weather...I have been so dreaming of northern AZ and southern NV...
HD - Hope you are doing well and can stop by for a dog beer soon.
AStorm - Hadda laff at being lopsided, Seems I was always smaller on one side, then it got a lumpectomy and was even smaller. Then da uder got 2 lumpectomies which kinda evened em out cept the lumps were top on one and bottom on d uder, so kinda ended up with my highbeams out of alignment, now the post rad one has taken the lead...will see what comes next, ha ha ha! Datz neet U got some new lipstick. I always love getting new make-up. I usually get Lancome because it's one of the few lipsticks that the smell doesn't make me gag...A long time ago I posted that I get their champagne color. I haven't used Clinique. I don't know what the zip line is...??
Claire - Hope you get your computer probs fixed soon. Half speed is no fun. Out here in the mtn we have satellite Internet and it's faster than dial-up, but not nearly as fastas the cable we have over on the coast. It takes sooooooooo long to get stuff done. Then with my laptop guzzlin bloody mary's the other day I hadda dry it out...seems to be okay but a few keys are a little sticky, grumble, grumble. I'm jealous of yer Waterford crystal wine glass...I don't have any of those, but I know they are beautiful. All my good stuff is in the attic or on the coast so I bin dwinking my fancy merlots outta plastic cups - yuck - no class at all! It's still been darn cold over here too, I keep saying to myself, soon it will warm up and get sunny! We have been seeing more birds over here too. They are so delightful! Now it's dumping snow again, dratz!
Karen - Oh I do hope you get good weather for Passover when your parents visit...each day here the sun pokes out a bit, but then it starts snowing again, not enuf to stick, but it's been cold still, only 40 out so far today. Glad your dad is doing well. So nice your DD is riding her bike and loving it, watch out or she'll get addicted like Claire. That's funny you went blank on all the names...we do have a nice group of galz here for sure!!
Chrissy - I know you'll be on the bus to Canada tomorrow, yee-haw, isn't it amazing how quick and small we can get to pick you up in Australia and get you all the way to Canada and then back to OZ???
Kymn - Sure hope all your bloodwork is good today...I musta missed the zip line so I'll have to go back and read up. I'm all packed for the bus trip tomorrow, yay, can't wait to tease your docs and nurses again! I've asked Pants to find a good stand up comic for our trip...he came up with this:
At about 3AM, I was drunk as a skunk. I came home just in time to hear the cuckoo clock cuckoo three times. Quickly coming up with a plan, I cuckooed nine more times, hoping my wife would think it was midnight. I was very proud of myself.
The next day, my wife asked what time I got home, and I replied, "Midnight, just like I said."
She said that was good, and for some reason she said we needed a new cuckoo clock. When I asked why, she answered, "Last night when it cuckooed midnight, it cuckooed three times, said 'Shit!,' cuckooed four more times, farted, cuckooed three times, cleared its throat, cuckooed two more times and then started giggling."So sorry to hear you might have delays with chemo, I had so many, I know how you just want to get it done! But the docs do know when it's best to give it more time...Hang in there and have a dwink with me! Yeah and you are so stong to be able to do this and get to work, you are doing great!
Dorthy - I'm so glad to hear you got stitches outta there and no crap about a missing dang drain. Hurray for 2 months ahead with no surgery, I'll drink to that! Hang in there until you get your girl back, it won't be long I promise. I would love to tell my boss DILLIGAF! (ya wud be talking to mesef tho). Tank U 4 sayin U miss me, I jus hate wens sheets gets in da way a me fun! La la la la Girls just wanna have fu-hun! Arrgh that smoke detector, ours usually go off between 1 and 4 am, aaarrrggghhh!
Junie - So wahine made you late? Did you hear about her April 1 joke on all of us? Wonder if she gave you those wrong directions as more April Fools jokes (j/k). Glad you made it one way or another and I'm always up for a dog beer with ya!
Husker - So glad to hear you're getting thru a little easier this time and not as achy. That's so cool no one noticed it was a wig. So funny what the little ones will say, loved your story about their different reactions to your new look.
MrsNice - Come on back...we got another bus trip tomorrow that'll be a load of fun with bundles of likker!
Stanzie - Stanzie sorry about all the power out and trees down, sounds so scary, I'm glad you're okay! LOL at buming into Kath in the closet, how funny! Oh, gosh and now wahine is all black and blue from bumping into everyone in the closet!
Well see you at Happy Hour, which I hope is soon...Cheers, cHairs and more buckets of dog beers please!!

Kymm......I didn't miss any of the 12 chemo dates, but this is because I had Neulasta support. I did have my red blood cells start to tank around Chemo #4 (AC), and I was so upset with myself. Then I realized that I had missed a performance target. That is how Type A I am.
You will be fine. Important not to have infection problems. But I wouldn't want things pushed back either. I was more tired starting with Round 3, but I still got work out.
Beans....can see the lovely fresh snow on the mountains. Realize this is because I have washed all my skiing gear to put it away. Some of it is still drying.
Gail.....still remember some of the noises my mother made when we were learning to drive. Somewhere between a gasp and a shreak.
I have good news about my computer. I don't have it back yet, but a software conflict as I suspected. They will have to reload my system, but they will be able to recover my files. So relieved. Then I will have to reload all the Office 2007 stuff etc.
Once everything is stable, I will back it up. After that, I will load SP1 for Windows 2007. So probably about three days from the time I get it back to get it where I need it. At least this didn't happen when I was frantically busy.
I realize that I could have had Staples reload Office 2007, but as I told the tech, the $29 is better spent at the wine bar which is where I am headed this evening.
Glad everyone made it through the storms. I am all black and blue, probably from skiing. I am an optimist, so put on the self-tanner this AM.
Happy Hump Day!!!! - Claire

HAPPY HOUR!
Going to find Pants and get a looooooong massage....sawwry galz but I gotta kidnap him for awhile. Been working outside ALL DAY, and scraped paint off, used bondo (and still have it on my hands!), sanded bondo, and primed....geez my back is sore, I wonder why?
Beans, Loved. loved. loved those pics....esp the dogs and cats....had some hearty laffs while looking at them! The "wrong" directions for junebug were just in fun, saying where my lounge was by the pool! And I must have said it in a very confusing way, but I didn't really help DH with the grill....just when he was stumped, I would come by and show him what was wrong.I really didn't want any part of THAT! He wants to try it out tonight, but left at 5:30 to run our errands, so sounds like a late din-din to me! So fun to read your post!!!
Happy Hump Day (again) to all.......gonna soak in the jacuzzi, then find Pants for that looooong massage........

Claire - LOL at you missing you wbc perfomance target! I felt dissappointed too when mine dropped. You are always amazing with how much you can do. Funny that you put your skiis away too. All the teen driver stuff makes me remember when I was learning. My dad took me out in our little manual tranny Datsun and somehow taught me to shift. Then I was with my mom and dad in a different car that was an automatic and had been out with them doing fine, then when I drove into the driveway I braked late and scared them that I was going to go through the garage door. I didn't, just stopped short and gave us all a thrill.
Kymn - one of my last cocktails got postponed due to weather, we just couldn't get there and was I ever frustrated...you just want it to end...Anyway, hang in and we'll all be there so soon...I hope Dotty got the likker that Sugar and Jocks ordered...it'll be a sweeet trip! Cant wait ta see ya!
NE1 else coming for happy hour??? I still have about 20 min of chores then will sidown for a beautiful glass of merlot in my plastic cup. Gawd there really must be some cheetos around to go with it!

OH MY BEANZ, that first picture actually made me jump a little! LOL But glad you are doing good and I love all the puppies on the couch. We have had a few nice days, but it is pretty windy. But that is what it does in the spring here. We are under another wind advisory today. Here is a zip line.
Kymn, that is common, don't fret love! That is why they check those things. You are doing GREAT, and so is Husker.
0 -
Yikes wahine, I bumped into both you and Goldie...yippeee it's happy hour!!! oh my a zip line! wow! I'm there!

Wahiney, you are a whore lmao. Pants shot me down, what do u have that I haven't???
who was talking about the girls that were arguing on a non-dwink thread? I have to tell ya'll. I was attached to a group way back when I was wittel here and the girls turned on me. nothing i said but they went all organic which made them crazy, wish i could wemember which subject.
I jest love you gals. beaaaaaanniousimous, I cwacked the hail up at your pics to NM about the interivew. loved most the puppies sleeping, so very cute, you rock the posts.
And who said that my dotd was not good enough, huh, huh, yes?? Who? I am offended and have my fist up. whale not weally, fists are raised to toast all my lovies.
Kathy, darling, you r ruining your good reputation with that Pant's pants action and on our bus, how could you?? Ughh, i always loose the good ones to the gal with two lovely boobs, why me? poor me! pour ME another drink, dunk. And fu, pants, you traitor you.

0 -
OMG DorK, you are on a roll tonight!!! "I" had a good reputation? Huh? Meesie??? Me thinks Pants just felt sorry for me cause I was working outside like cheap labor today. And shoot if this is the way he rewards me, me thinks I will do the same thing tomorra. Well, after we go and support Kymn that is! Puleez don't be upset with Pants...you know he takes care of all of us, eventually!!!! LOL. Kymnie, we are on our way..."the wheels on the bus go round and round...."

The HTL has been busy today
Gail...how scary the driving today with your DD....I drove with my DD #, but not with DS....wonder who will take DD#2 when the time comes!!! I'm okay on city streets with the kids but not the freeway....heck, I like to be in control and in the drivers seat!!!
Stanzie...yup DD has a cell phone...promised her one when she started middle school, so she got it last year...she has her sister's old phone number...Its obscene how many phone lines my family has....everyone has a cell phone plus we have 3 phone lines in the house....home, DH office and a dedicated fax line....
Kymn....did you have chemo today or is it tomorrow? I know you talked about blood labs, but couldn't figure out if chemo was today....hope you are doing okay...not sure how your onc knows that the next chemo will have to be delayed based on these #'s....Like Claire, I had Neulasta shot after each chemo so my #'s were okay
NM...how did the interview go today?
Wahine.....funny about the car and having to pay DD#2 because her car didn't cost as much as her big sister's car. I'm sure we'll have to buy DD#2 a car as we bought one for big sister and big brother....I have a 1999 Suburban and think that by the time she needs a car, why should she get a newer car (much newer) than mine, so I'll give her mine and I'll get a later model car....maybe like 2008 or so....would love to buy DH company car, but its only 1 1/2 years old and he only has 10K or so miles and they don't get new cars till over 42K.....so it won't be for a few more years....but its a nice car....Ford Fusion all wheel drive.....they generally get to buy the cars at a good price...
Dorothy....I love my showers....I don't drink coffee, so the way to start my day is with my shower....it wakes me up....
I can't read back because its on the previous page and I'll loose my post if I do...so just sending big hugs to Junie, Goldie, Chrissy, HD, Beans, and the rest of the loungettes....Sweet dreams, Karen
Husker....good luck with your chemo....

Beanie, you funny. I'll have to remember all those interview tips if I ever have an interview. Those puppies are too cute! I'm kind of fussy about lipstick because I'm sensitive to smells and always end up eating it, so it has to look good, feel good, smell good, and taste good. I hate those super shiny glosses that look like glass coating and feel like you have a wad of Vaseline on your lips. BLECH! Most of my makeup is Lancome cuz that's all we have here... have to drive to go to Nordstrom or Sephora, or remember to stop when I am visiting a client in a town that has a real mall. You didn't try the zip line? Oh, Beans, you gotta!
Nice avatar, Lori. It is windy here too... almost a full week of nice weather but there is a storm brewing. Glad that zip line is at HTL where the weather is always perfect.
Sending hugs to Husker and Kymn.
Nighty night, ladies... and Dorthy. JK

Hi girls...I always get to the party so late and I really need to be sleeping, but can't resist seeing what's going on!
DH poured me a lovely red wine today to eat with pizza for supper (haven't had that in awhile) and the pizza sauce tasted 'off' and the wine like vinegar (and it was a good wine!) Was so disappointed that when I had a chance to really REALLY drink I can't enjoy it. Darn taste buds. And I was so hungry too. Darn steroids. But am done with those tomorrow, at least until next week.
Kymn, good wishes for chemo Thursday. You've done it before, you'll do it again, this time knowing what to expect. One step closer girl!
The rest of you have a good time...gotta get my zzz's.
Kristy (aka Husker)

Checking in to the par-tay late as was out doing my own. Anyway, had more than enough wine for the day. Great fun though.
I did the par-tay today as think I will need my wits about me when I get my computer back tomorrow PM. Came back to pasta as too late to cook the chicken.
Gail....may need to keep knees apart for a while.....wink, wink. Then, I doubt I will care all that much
I have more than enough wine in me. But feel fab. Tomorrow is the day I join the rest of the world online. Can't wait.
Got my eBay red jacket this afternoon. So wore on my travels. Looks fab, and beyond toasty. No wonder I feel like the world is mine. TitZ up ladies. - Claire
