so had the appt with Tenille Teachers and the specialists and ADHD with Aspergers tendancies seems to be what is strongly suspected. Cry My son has the same diagnosis so I know whats ahead of me to get Tenille to the point i have gotten Derek. he made honour roll this term and now has a network of friends but good lord it was alot of work teaching him social skills, study skills, self monitering skills, more so that the average child and here we go again I feel so tired and beat up right now cant my family catch a break.....sigh....one day at a time, one foot in  front of the other and just breathe..

    hugs

Oh Kymm.  You will get there.  At least you know the drill.  But not fun.

I am taking a break, but need to get back to work.  Also need to get in a walk as have a fun evening planned.  Dinner and an evening at the Aveda place in Bellevue.

Should be fun.....in recognition for some of the work I have been doing. - Claire

Fort Worth Flower DeliveryHere's my spring bouquet for every lounge lizard!!!    Sending many extras for you to give to family and friends!!!   Meant to send them to you last night......what can I say?????

As far as lymphedema (LE) goes, what NM posted is pretty much what I remember being told by my br surgeon--all that, in addition to just no needle sticks or BP in the at risk arm.   BUT, nothing was ever mentioned to me about compression sleeves and flying and I logged some whopping huge air miles before I ever heard about potential problems with flying.     There is (or used to be) a pretty good lymphedema thread here at bc.o.    Think I was even told no manicures, because could get an infection from a cut cuticle that could trigger LE.    I think that even now, LE is something not understood by a lot of doctors and the info you find when searching may be a bit outdated.    What is difficult to remember is that we are all so individual and react in individual ways to our treatments--just because Jane Doe developed lymphedema because of flying, doesn't mean that you will.   I've hot tubbed; I've had scratches, cut my finger--put on gloves (when I remember) to do yard work but often forget.   I do insist that no BP or needle sticks in that arm--and so far, every time I've been in hospital, there is a sign on my door and over my bed that boldy states NO BP NEEDLES RIGHT ARM....    Anyways, just another "fun" potential gift/side effect of our treatments.

Love the shidiot (even shitiot) word!   Is that truly a Canadian word????    I lived near the Canadian border in the upper penn of Mich many years ago.....what I thought was hard to understand was how the locals would end every sentence (whether asking a question or not) with "Ehhh?"

gotta run--our storms weren't s'posed to hit until late tonight--all of a sudden it is dark as can be outside and thunder is rolling across the hills--maybe I can get revitalized from all the electrical energy flowing around outside!!!

     later...............

Kathy- So happy your parents will be here soon!!! That is wonderful !!

Kymn - Wow sometime I'd love to know more about how you worked with the social issues - I know you have your hands full right now but sometime I'll remind you and send you a PM to ask some questions if you don't mind.

Claire - thanks for the additional info. I think I have had BP done on that arm as it didn't occur to me however when I had my colonoscopy they were very careful well that is until that electronic BP machine went off the exact time they were administering the anesthesia both in the same arm and it back up and the pain was indescrible but needless to say I was screaming and it takes a lot for me to scream infront of people.

I'll have to be much more aware so thanks to all.  Bought some flowers to plant just hope I don't kill them before I can get them planted.... cheers all - it is past happy hour!!! guess I should wait till after I plant a few just so I don't mix up the fertilizer with the drink! Blech!

THANK GOD IT IS HAPPY HOUR! Puleez Pants, would like my "regular" except make it a double!!! Been that kind of a day. Junie, thank you SO MUCH for the pwetty fowers for all of us! What a sweet surprise.

Kymn, Sorry about the dx for your DD...but glad that you are such a "hands on" mom, and will do everything possible to help her. Thats a lot to digest! Oh, look, Jocks is waiting at the massage table...he has it all ready for YOU, and also has your rye drink with a looooong straw so you can dwink while you lie on your tummy!! (((HUGS))) for you, Kymnie.

Lori, So glad you had quality time with the g'kids. BUT a McD with chandeliers and Chinese food??? When we were in HongKong the only thing special was a type of teriyaki burger...that was good though. How kewl is that!!!

Sounds like a lot of us have issues with our RIGHT ARM...me too...that was where my nodes were taken, and the only place they thought I had bc....glad I had the bilat mast as the biopsy showed it in my L side too.

Hic...ohhhhh that dwink is sooo good Pants!!! Hits the spot! Been on the run all day. Drove 30 min out to the country where my hairdresser has her shop....well she had to go to the dr and has strep throat....but the other gal got busy and forgot to call me. SO I still look too straggly!!!! Had errands, and then went to my bank, still far away, for the car title that we are giving away. The darn driver of the car transport calls DH and says he will be at our house in 20 min, and we need the cash for him to leave my mom's car. WTF???? He was supposed to call the night b4 to make sure we would be here....and wasn't supposed to come till the 21-24th. So thank god I was at the bank, although I had just gotten into the safe deposit room . Had to get money out and drive like a mad woman to get here in time. THEN he doesn't call back for an hour!!! Meanwhile DH has the a/c guy here, and our unit was a lemon to begin with...he found leaks in the coils all over....but the full warranty (parts, labor) was just the 1st yr, and it is 1 1/2 yrs old now, and been off for months. Don't know why our a/c guy never found the probs...he even had us pay to run new copper pipes all up from ground level, thru the fireplace facade, into the upstairs attic to the unit. But, he died in Dec, so I can't be upset with him. Hope it can be fixed b4 company comes, as just the downstairs unit can't do the whole house. SO then car driver guy calls and he is down the street, so we just walked to meet him! Was able to call my parents before they left for the airport and let them know we have their car! DH left to get it washed.....so filthy. Oh Kymn, it even was in Ontario, Canada...and that driver got hit (not killed, thank God), so this driver had to get the cars from that transport and drive down here.

Sawwry.....didn't mean to be OT, but the day just had me spinning my wheels and not getting much done...and now I really need this happy hour!!!! Anyone joining me? I promise not to talk about my day anymore!!!!

OK, just one more teeny tiny thing...the car driver was diverted in Austin TX with all the fires....and a lot of cattle were trapped....he said he rammed the transport thru the fence so some of the cattle could escape...which gave him a flat tire too. But over 100 died...he kept trying to get them out, and finally when one came out, then a lot followed. Sad for the others, but glad he could save a bunch of them. Ok, I'm done.

    Pau Hana! Barmen!!!!

    Hey chickies,

NM glad to see you back.Awesome pics as usual.  Hope you feel better soon. You know once those Anti-b's kick in, you will feel better quickly. And I betcha wish you were a mouse in the room when your FORMER coworkers noticed you were MIA on Monday. I am so happy for ya, Kim. I will have to show DH the pic of the naked folks in church. He loves being naked and I am not kidding. He is very active in church too. Tonight, he made me dinner and I came in the room to find him pantless. He can be a shidiot (love that word)! Do feel better.

Kymn, sorry that your Tenille has these issues but you know that they are manageable with lots of persistant. I concur with Goldie that you are a wonderful Mom.  And for the record, my Flyers are hot. They were missing four key players last night and still kicked ass.

Goldie, sounds like you had such a nice time away. It must be really cool having grandbabies. I still think you are too young though.  Your comment about HD's mouth and PT was funny. I forgot that she was supposed to get that fixed.

And you HD, probably will not even read this (sob sob sob).  I cry every day that you are not here. Don't ever worry about your crooked mouth, I know you are too embarrassed to show your face here. but you have not seen mine yet. It is almost as fugly as my chest.

Junie, thanks for the flowers, you are the best! I love flowers and will happily accept a boquet everyday. You sound good, I hope you are feeling well. And did you say that you are having another party, BYOL (L=lampshade)?

Claire, I know you will not mind that I made your tulip pic my desktop pic! I should've asked first but know you would say yes. If you need me to remove it, I will lol. I really love that. I have tulips in my front yard which I only see when I come in and out. They are finally all in bloom now. Sadly, they do not last long.  Hey, what's for dinner? And thanks for cooking something special for me last night. You knew i do not eat halibut although I never told ya.

Raquel Risque wisque, thanks for turning me on to the JD honey, yum yum yum. You are da best sister I have here. You too good to me, girl! I am exciting to see "mom and dad". It is so cool that they will spend so much time with you. try not to be a stranger, I always enjoy your posts.

Stanzie, good luck with your flowers. Do try to get them in the ground before they die. I have done that in the past and know the feeling. What did you get? I usually go wild with flowers but this year, it is not in the budget. I make my own hanging baskets and usually buy at least ten flats of annuals. One flower I bought last year, called diamanthis or something like that, came back this year and are beautiful. I even have some planters by the pool with them which made it through the harsh winter.

Beans, no internet today? I hope you are having a happy fun filled day and not fighting for a connection. Hey, I need me some more Beanglish!

oops, nearly lost this so will hit submit and get to the rest of you fine girls. In the meantime, ROUNDS for all. Tiddup (as Chrissy would say)....and CHeErS!!!!

Risque Whiskey, sorry I bumped you. I did not refresh my browser. Geez, what a busy day you had! Have another drink. I know by my typing that I also need to drink some more, lots a more!

I read the discussions today on LE. I was told no manicures too. Never told to stay outta the hot tub and won't ask! I had nodes removed from both sides but my doc told me that it was alright to have pricks and BP taken. They were going to put my last IV in my feet but when my doc came in, he again ok'd having it on my hand. This all makes me really wonder after reading all your posts.

Where is Lulu and Kristy? I hope you gals stop in the lounge and have a drink with me tonight.

Kristy, I hope you have been able to get some z's. It really sux not being able to sleep. I hope you are still feeling good.

NM, I just showed DH the pic of the naked girls in the pew and he really laughed. He said to tell you all hello. I can't say enough how much I look forward to your posts, you do the best job here

Who am I missing?? Raise you hand, please so I see you!

So I have been worried lately about finances and it is making me miserable. I feel that BC took so much from me and I am spending too much time worrying about everything. DH is so happy-go-lucky and I am very tense and have always been. I have been getting bitchy at work and am holding on to many resentments against people. I lost my connections that I had in with loan consultants who originated loans. I HAD so many that requested me until I went out for my bmx. Once I came back, my entire territory was moved. I used to process just Texas and had so many connections. Now I am paired up with these jackass consultants who will bring any crap-app (application) in the door. they throw it against the wall and try to make it stick and is usually does not. So I waste my time with these non credit-worthy people who have been mislead by the jack asses I am paired up with.

Well thanks for hearing my vent. I have more and will try to let it out but am mentally exhausted from negative thoughts that keep racing through my brain. I think I need to have a few shots of JD. Pants, bring me two and hold the diet please??

Peace and love to you all!

( me tinks my peace in da bottle)

I saw all these shot glasses of JD lined up on the bar,and so I followed them to the end, and lo and behold, that is where I found you, DorK! Glad that the TT's are keeping you hydrated, as you seem to really need it tonight. So sorry you lost all those contact...that sucks! BC takes so much out of us anyway, that it seems doubly unfair when finances are involved too. (((hugs))) for you, dear twin. I will tell mom and dad you said hello....funny they had us as twins, and in different years too....think they remember? LOL. You will come out on top, I know you will. Just hang in there, and you will build up all new contacts and do even better than before. Don't give up!!!!

Hi Ladies, so much activity tonight!

I did sleep better last night...ran the humidifier (have had dry nose and the saline gel wasn't cutting it), which also worked as a white noise machine! Except I had to get up at 2:30 and 5:30 to go to the BR (sigh), but was mostly able to get back to sleep. I cut my steroids in half on my own since nurse never got back to me, so hoping that will help a little tonight. Sometimes we just have to take our health into our own hands.

As for BP and arm sticks...My sentinel node biopsy was only 3 nodes and BS said no problem with having stuff on that side, but onc, lab gals, nurses, will not touch, so even though surgeon says yes no one else wants to take the chance. Thank god I have a port for most of blood work. They never get it the first time and used to go to the other arm, but now are stuck with one.

Kymn, thinking of you as you work with your daughter and school. As a school counselor, I have worked with a number of kiddos. They are all so different, so individual, and it takes a team. Not just mom and dad, but teachers and all who interact with your children. But not the best timing, eh?! At least nothing needs to happen today or next week. If nothing else, dealing with all the BC crap will give you a voice when you are working with everyone. You'll know what's important and what isn't. And don't forget your DH can help too! This isn't just a "mom' thing, although it seems like it sometimes, doesn't it!

DH's birthday is tomorrow. Instead of baking a cake (sorry dear...no energy, too tired!) he is getting Cake Batter Ice Cream from Cold Stone Creamery! His idea...brilliant man.

    Wahine....OMG!

I am hitting the tub again...too much time on my feet shopping. What will I take tonight? The V* Fusion w/glutamine just isn't cutting it. How about...hmmm...Colorado Bulldog! Haven't had one of those in years! (DorthyK...ya might want to slow down a bit...ur mamma may be a bit shocked by your request. Or is she used to that by now?!)

    Hi LadieZ......

Was out at a dinner and Aveda spa night so just checking in.  The most horrific story about the cattle.  I am so sorry for them.  Glad some made it though.

Needed the shoulder massage, which really helped with all the cycling in the wind.  Then they asked how I would describe my hair, and I had to admit ignorance.  I really have no idea except that it is very soft now, needs color or looks awful, and still growing in.  It also is shaggy and needs a cut.  (This is different than "getting shagged".)

DorK....rebuilding your network is the pits, but you will get there.  Life goes on whether we are there or not.  Use a lot of honey, and they will soon be eating out of your hand.  You need to make sure they all owe you.  Then you are home free.

Have a ton of work to do in the AM.

We are finally improving on the sun/rain ratio, and it's a lot more like spring.  You are welcome to use the picture as a screen saver Dorothy.  Flowers last so much longer here than in the East as cool temps and grey skies.  Daffodils started blooming at the end of February.  We still have the later ones.

Anyway, sleep tight everyone....... - Claire

    Hi girls,

Kristy, so glad you hear that you had a good night sleep - here is hoping you had another one last night.  And such great words to Kymn, you are so right about teamwork. And you are right, DorK needs to slow down and relax!

Speaking of teamwork, I have to apologize to my boss yesterday as I complained about doing something for a coworker who was out of the office for Passover. It is not my nature to talk back to a boss. I was taught that if a boss asks me to clean the toilet, to say yes ma'am, where's the brush. lol. I let my personal issues get in the way of doing what I was asked and do regret it.

Claire, you said it well, life does go on with or without me. I have been using the honey but not getting far. Will just have to persevere.

Kymn, you had me tearing up when I read that you would not change a thing about your DD. That is just such a beautiful thing to say. She is lucky to have you as a Mommy.

RRW, I hope your parents have a good flight, let us know when they arrive. You are so blessed to have them.

I have to get to work now but will try to pop in during the day. I thank you ladies for being here for me. I had to give up my shrink when my fee went from 40.00 to 125.00. You girls are better at giving advise then any psychologist out there and you are all free. Love you all very much!

Have a stellar day. Peace and blessing you each of you!

Junie, thank you for the beautiful bouquet!

Aloha mom and dad! Kathy, that was quite a day, I hope today will be better.

Kymn, my grandson has Aspergers and the behaviors too. Well, he hasn't actually been diagnosed by a doctor and is getting tested in school right now. They will have an IEP at the end of the month. I have been trying to get this done for quite a few years now. I could see it when he was 3 months old. He is very advanced in reading and math.

DorK, you are funny lady and there is not a fugly think about you and I forbid you to say that again. Or you will be in BIG BIG trouble missy. And thank you again for the compliment! Love the BYOL. You are also doing a pretty good job on your Beanglish.

Stanzie, I bought some flowers to plant as well. Our problem here is that we could still get a freeze. I got some Nicotiana and Phlox. The hummingbirds like the Nicotiana. I also have some dianthus too Dort, and it comes back every year. I like that they bloom almost all summer.

Husker, such kind words for Kymn......yes, she will get through it. Happy Birthday to your DH..........is he sharing his ice cream?

Ha ha ha........my bill is in the mail Dork!

I am so thankful they dont have ODD with it as alot of kids who have ADHD also have this so I feel lucky there.  Oh and STANZIE yes you can ask me anything dont have to wait till I am feeling better this is as good as it gets for awhile lol.

Hi again girlz! My parents got here, safe and sound. Cannot believe their flt wasn't delayed in ATL, unless the storm didn't go there. It hit here betwn 5:30-6:30 am w/ 60mph winds right in our neighborhood. Lots more large trees down, or split down the middle. Good thing there are so many here, as it isn't too noticeable (exc for costing $$$ to remove). BUT on our way out, glanced towards our townhouse and saw a large tree down...panicked and had to drive by as we have 2 large (tall) birch trees in the front yard. Well, it was the neighbor on the corner, 2 doors down, and his tall bradford pear split in half...lying across the neighbor betwn us....took down part of her dogwood. Looks bad though. And huge one down on the main road. Then a bad accident on the way to airport which is just a few min away.,,ambulance already had someone on the stretcher. WHEW....was lucky the tall trees at our parents house did not break!

I love the BYOL DorK...forgot to mention that, and was reminded in Lori's post. I think that can be as popular as the DILLIGAF! Nice to have our own acronymns! I will have to tell the parents later about the welcome.....but sawwry I foigot to ask dem bout bwringin some "willy". He did bring me a guava though....yummmmmmm!

Lori, Love, luv, luv the camel with "implants".....so kewl!

    Happy Day Girlz!

Hi Kymn, Usually we don't get so many severe storms. Had an unusually cold and snowy winter, so wonder if every season this year will be extreme? Could have more storms today and overnite too. BTW, glad you got  some sleep last night (yay!), and loved the picture!

Junie, Chasing you down with this bucket of dog beers, but you keep disappearing! Think I saw you follow Hunk behind that slot machine.....Surprised.

Dream of Jeannie Beans, where are ya? Hope you still can get online, and are doing ok! You must get a kick out of us "trying" to learn beanglish...seems like DorK has caught on quite well. I'll sign up for a class if you decide to teach one...LOL.

Kymn-most surgeons don't know squat about LE really but are supposed to give you these instructions after a mastectomy or any lymphnode removal. Many docs don't believe LE actually exists. There are physical and occupational therapist that specialize in LE management. I was lucky enough to find a Med Onc that worked in a system with 2 LE therapists and referred me to them. My Med Onc also knew about gabapentin for the pain. Usually bc survivors find out about this from each other or something like Reach-to-Recovery. Unfortunately for me R2R never responded to any of the 3 referrals that were made, so I had to find out this stuff the hard way,. There is a Lymphedema section on the boards, and Binney is an expert in explaining it, how to tell if a therapist has had good training, and all the details. The risk of trigger LE is wny you can't have blood pressures, blood work or IVs on the side of the mastectomy. Women with bilateral mastectomies SHOULD get IV, labs, and blood pressures done on their legs and not their arms, but it can be a challenge to find medical personnel willing to do that. So ask your doc for a referral to a Lymphedema Therapist to find out what you need for protection. Protections and prevention are key, since it doesn't go away after it starts. Actually, I did some research and found a study that suggests that it is ok to have an IV started in the at risk arm, but blood pressures are definately OUT.

Stanzie-Yeah, that's the problem. We aren't well educated about LE risk by the medical community. Lymphatic fluid travels through very delicate tubes to nodes - the same nodes that get swollen and sore when you get sick-and when you take out one of the nodes you block the fluid that used to flow through that node. If it can't find another node close enough by to flow through the fluid starts building up. Since lymphatic fluid is high in proteins it's a great medium for bacteria to set up shot and multiply. There is a specific massage pattern that is taught to people with LE (it is very, very light and gentle) but the Swedish or deep tissue massage is thought to mash the delicate paths and also push the fluid the wrong direction (away from the body or heart). Scar massage is a totally different form of massage, localized to the scar site. The head from hot tubs is thought to bring extr4a blood to the surface and then fluid leaks across from the blood vessels to the lymphatic system, increasing the swelling. The lymphatic fluid may be just keeping up with things until there is an infection, which brings more blood to the area and has bacteria. Since the lymph's job is to take that extra fluid off and screen out the bacteria, if the node is missing all that stuff just sits there and collects. That's why we're supposed to avoid scratches, wear gloves gardening, and treat scratches ASAP. LE can develop up to 50 years after the surgery that set it up. Carrying heavy things with that arm is a risk factor, but recent research indicates that weight training helps prevent LE.

Men who get radiation treatment for prostate cancer are at very high risk of getting LE in their legs, but it usually gets diagnosed as venous insufficiency or some other circulatory problem rather than as LE. Most docs are totally ignorant about LE.

Wahine-Docs aren't educated enough to recommend compression sleeves to prevent LE, the few that have any knowledge of LE would order a compression sleeve after LE showed up. I personally do not wear my compression sleeve when I'm flying, but I do wear it every time I go in for an appointment or procedure to remind people NOT to use that arm.

Claire-I am actually feeling better, on day 6 of a 7 to 10 day cold, so I'm on the getting better side now! I avoided hot tubs until my breast was taken off, then, since the area with the LE was gone, I allow myself to use them again. I'm not going to live my life not doing things out of fear of LE, especially since I know that it can pop up even if you do everything "right" just like the beast can!

Wahine-that honey jack sounds really, really good! I'm going to have to try and find some! Sounds like you've had quite a day! Don't you hate it when you are told one thing and something else happens?

Goldie-I'm with you, I pick and choose what precautions to follow so that my life isn't totally run by fear and restrictions. Sounds like you had a great time with the grandbabies! Good for you!

Kymn-congrats on doing such a great job with Derek! I can't imagine how overwhelming it must feel to be starting that road again on top of everything else. Can't we ever catch a break????

Claire-have a great evening! Enjoy the recognition and remember how much you deserve it!

    Junie-beautiful flowers!

DorK-Glad your DH enjoyed the pic, I thought it was pretty funny, too. And I am very glad the cold is on the downhill side and I didn't need antibiotics this time around. My asthma inhaler has been my best friend for this week, though! So sorry your work gotn changed while you were out on treatment. That is a hole in the FMLA thing-they only have to hold a comparable job, not necessarily the one you had. Maybe someday one of us will get fed up enough and push through a legislative change to close that loophole.

Husker-Colorado Bulldog? Never heard of that one, gonna have to do some research! Colorado Bulldog Recipe

Glad your parents got in safely. That will be so nice for you to see them! I'm sorry your hair apt didn't work out, but I bet you look beautiful anyway and not a bit straggly!! I hate going in so I usually get DH to trim mine in the back and I do the front. Lately I've just been braiding and putting it in a clip to get it outta my way. Sounds like things are a bit hectic right now so I hope all gets straightened out, what a story about the cattle and so many deaths...oh my goodness!

Thanks for another great post!! And a great DOTD Really Good Hot Tub, I've stayed out of hot tubs since I got this fun dx. Thanks for the Lymphedema pic, on the bco site a woman has her arm pics posted, very helpful. LOVE THE BULLDOG!!!!

DorK - I was here yesterday but didn't post, hadda go to town which is an all day thing...anyway, I was here in spirit wid ya just as goofy as ever but kinda quiet, tee heet! Hey I hear you on the finances thing! BC has taken at least half my brain so that makes everything so much harder, it's better, but chemo rully zapped me mind and all the stress and I do think tammy makes me a little spacey plus I'm naturally zoned to being with. My focus has been reeeeeally unfocusedd! Yeah, tense and bitttchy too! I can't imagine how fwustwating it is to have non-credit worthy people wasting your time, I'm soo sawwwy!

So much info on lymphedema...I had been very worried about it all so before rads I found a certified lymphedema therapist and consulted with her. She measured my arms to establish a base point. She said they used to do more of the compression sleeves, but it's really individual. She didn't think I needed that and she told me to live normally and watch out for scratches and such, but she said they will occur sometimes, and bug bites, so just be more careful watching out for that arm. She was really helpful. Yes no blood pressure or IV's on that side and she said to not put on anything tight that would restrict the flow of blood/lymph...so who knows what the future holds.

Not much else new with me...still trying to find a builder...still waiting for summer...still waiting for happy hour, and still crazy after all these years!!!

I just love all your posts and enjoy every word and thinking about you when I'm driving around in circles in my 4-runner...hope you are all having a wonnnerful happy hump day!!! See ya soon for happy hour!! ~ Jeannie Beanie

NM, Glad you are getting lots better and that the worst of it should be over. You are enlightening us very much here....I did not realize that bilat mast (and not just node removal) could trigger LE's. AND that we should have b/p done on lower leg and NOT even the non-node removal side. I did copy some of what you wrote. Thank you....but OMG wonder if anyone will really do that....like going for blood work, etc., esp since it can take years to show up. That pic was horrid...feel sorry for that person! I also copied that bulldog drink, as it sounds easy and like it might be real good. Couldn't see the entire bulldog pic though, as I am on my netbook and that pic is HUGE!!! LOL. Take care, and get ENTIRELY well quick!

Shoot Jeannie Beannie I bumped into you post! Missed hearing from you, and then I do that...sheeesh......forgive me??? Hoping you find a builder soon!! Glad to see you here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kymn - One thing I do is when I'm in the shower every day and soap up, I just massage that arms from my fingers all the way up to my bod and just give it a little help with moving lymph fluid...it's just something to keep an eye on and, like brushing your teeth, kind of a new routine is how I think of it...the lympedema therapist was really helpful in how to prevent it and such...

wahine - glad you bumped into my post!!! good to see you too risque!!!
