After all this excitement, glad I am waking up to a peaceful morning.   Looks like we may even have sun.

    Kathy.....hoping the weather calms down.

Kymm....hoping no cold.  All you need at this point.

Chrissy......praying for your daughter.  So sorry about your FIL too.  You certainly have your hands full at the moment.

DorK.....I am very glad that you are taking care of yourself no matter what happens.

Husker....I know all about lack of patience, but your hair will take its sweet time growing out.  Not a lot to be done.

Pineapple sage is a fun plant to have.

Anyway DorK, hope you enjoyed the rack of lamb I couldn't resist for dinner last night.  I roasted potatoes, carrots, and parsnips, and cooked the last of the St Pat's Day cabbage to have with.  Beyond yummy.  The carrots and parsnips were like candy.

Speaking of culinary herbs, funny story.  I pinched a large branch of rosemary a few weeks and put a small part I didn't use in a jug on my kitchen bar.  Anyway, it rooted!!!  So will give to my friend who has a large garden.  Who knew rosemary roots itself???

This is reminding me that I need to refresh the planters on my balcony, and yes, I need some more culinary herbs, and a nice cherry tomato. - Claire

Special thoughts and prayers going out today for Chrissy and her family, Junie, HunkyD, Kymn (hope that cold stays away), and Dorothy. (Hope I didn't miss anyone, please let me know if I did). Lining up dwinks on the bar in a big assortment, so when needed you can just grab a bar stool and dwink up. Inflatable church is open too. Love and Hugs to those having a hard day today, procedures, etc......

Already 2 deaths in AL a short time ago...very close to our county, and its heading this way again..keeps tracking east. Stanzie, I think some of it is tracking north east, so hope it won't get to you. Our worst weather is predicted for this afternoon/evening (large hail too, and we haven't moved the truck into a garage yet....gotta do that soon). Thanks for adding my name for today Stanzie, I didn't think of that. Tomorrow i know we have Kymn and Kristy having tx, and Junie has another dr appt, and I am requesting prayers for my brother tomorrow too.

Rain, rain, go away, and don't come again for SEVERAL days as we have flooding out here in the country already (where I lived a few yrs ago.....we were on the mountain, but the highway and all roads below are flooding now). Lotta trees down on roads, houses, power lines down, about 30-45 mi away, already. A lot of large trees are being uprooted, because of all the rain we have had lately...ground is saturated, so winds can easily uproot these huge trees.

HD, please let us know how you are doing today....many thoughts and prayers going out to you.

Sirens just started again...I think my dogs will be very  hoarse soon as of course they bark everytime they hear a siren!

In between storms.....I was chatting with Lori while in the closet while DH went to a safer place, and dogs were in garage. BUT the storms and tornadic weather will continue several more hrsl. Heard of 4 deaths, and a high school being hit in our county. DH just came home and said there is a HUGE tree at the corner of our street,, uprooted, then he drove by my parents house and it seemed ok, but around the corner, also on the lake, a HUGE tree came down on a house. This is a big house too, so hope they are ok. Guess I'll have to go with him to the clubhouse when the next round comes through. Yikes!

    Hi Loungettes,

So much fun and an interesting scientific study about wed wine. I read but don't have anything much to add as there are already a number of good comments. I love wine, so I dwinky. In truth, I don't dwinky that much and I follow my doctor's advice about it...just here at THE VIRTUAL bar I think it's fun and silly to dwinky GALLONS OF VODKA for breakfast and wear my lampshade while dancing on the table top and shopping for a kewl hat to wear to the Royal Wedding and while I practice curtsying 'n stuff.

chrissy - I'm so sorry to read about your FIL...my prayers are with you and your family, sure hope your daughter's sugery went well.

wahine - take care in all that weather, did your parents get to Alaska okay?

    Stormy- love the hats!

Claire - hope the sun lasts!

Goldie - our weather is still unusually cold too, weird weather.

NM - hope you are doing okay at the new job!

SAS - nice advice for anyone going thru a divorce.

Barbara - thanks for posting the wine study!

I second wahine, prayers to all my girlfriends...is that bus getting ready to go again? I'm hoping it's full of likker so we can cruise away in style and comfort! HD - hope you are doing well!

Kymn - hurray on your blood counts and on half way!!! wooo hoooo!

You know, it is snowing again right now, man, crazy weather! Oh well, calls for a nice drink. How about a WEATHER AS STUBBORN AS A MULE cocktail?

    Glass: Collins
    Garnish: Lime wedge
Method: Pour all ingredients into ice-filled glass and lightly stir.
1 shot La Fée Parisienne (68%) absinthe
½ shot Freshly squeezed lime juice
    Top up with Ginger beer
Comment: Ginger beer and the length of this drink
tame the absinthe within but its presence is evident.

    collins

    Cheers! ~Beans

Update: Still watching weather carefully, will evac when they say we should. BUT so far it damaged a mobile home park my DD's SIL lives in, so she had to move their family into my DD's house, just a few min ago. Took out a mobile home park about 30 mi away also, plus our head weatherman lives near there and he was on the phone till he saw the tornado w/ debis heading right to him....said it looked like an F4. Was glad he FINALLY went into his tornado shelter! Update:They just reported that his home WAS hit! My younger DD and family lived in a nice subdivision a few miles from us (10-12?) and it got hit pretty bad..these are mostly 2-story homes just maybe 15 yrs old or so. (They live in TX now), but their friends reported that. LOOKS LIKE A LONG AFTERNOON/EVENING.  Can you spare Pants for a few hours, I think we need some stiff drinks here!

Stanzie, Is it hitting near you yet? Please be careful, lotta tornadoes w/ index of 10. IT is so weird watching all of this unfold. And I dread seeing/hearing the damage/injuries, etc it may have already caused.

    Hi Friends,

I am popping in for pau hana -already one. I am letting DH come home tonight but not sure how it will go. I am nervous as is he. We have never been through this type of thing but the issues have always been here. He wrote me a nice letter at work apologizing and telling me he is humbled by this experience. My heart feels both of our pain. I pray that things go smooth,I can not have more days like the last three.drinking

Kathy, I just came out of the chapel and ws praying for you and your people. Those pics are wild. It does look like a beautiful area, so green and so pretty. Stay safe now, ya here? And to the rest in harm's way, please be safe.

I wrote alot and hit sometihng and lost all but my first paragraph. I would love to catch up but since i JUST now got my internet back, I am too far behind.  Sorry to be selfish here, will try to do better another day.

I see my PS next week and we will talk about getting my left tissue expander back. I want to wait a few more months as I am just starting to feel really good and have had the longest period of time in the past nine months without a surgery. I had eight in 8 months and never really fully healed until now. I am just not quite ready to get cut again.

Kristy and Kymn, I hope all goes easy tomorrow and that the SE's are minimnal.

Got to go, DH will be "visiting" any minute, God, please make this go smooth, I can't ride this roller coaster any longer.

Love all you girls, well except one that i just like a little lol. You know who you are (-----)!

Sending thoughts of peace and love to all of you great woman and i thank you all for letting me into your worlds! A round of hugs is in order....and drinks too, why of course!!

Tiddup! (thinking of Chrissy as I say that).....

Lori - The whole time I was dealing with the divorce I kept saying I didn't want to be a "divorced person". We were married in the Catholic church and promised "til death" and everything. I married my high school sweetheart but after knowing each other for almost 10 years our actual marriage lasted exactly 1 year. He went on a hunting trip with my dad on our anniversary. I dreamed that he was terminally ill and was actually relieved that I would still have some time left to enjoy my life solo, until I realized it wasn't true... then I had the epiphany -- I was way too young to be dreaming about widowhood as an escape. Amongst my high school friends I was the first to have a serious relationship and the first to marry. But they caught up with me -- now they have all been divorced at least once and their kids are older than mine. It took me 10 years to consider marriage again.

Kymn - the brown should be lovely on you!

Kathy - that looks awful! Sure hope there is no damage to your beautiful home, or person, or pets. We'll just bring the bus around and then hightail it out of AL till this thing settles down! We need to escort Kymn and Kristy to their cocktail sessions tomorrow anyway..

Beanius - nice nose! That drink looks like something you drink by the pitcher... Ok!

Claire - it's hard to kill rosemary... I'll bet there's some growing in my belly. I gave up on a veggie garden a long time ago and decided to just grow herbs cuz it's easy and I use them a lot. I do have some nice lettuces and a couple of tomato plants now that I have a drip line. The lettuces are great cuz it encourages you to eat salad every day... the more you pick the more they grow.

Happy Wendey eben-in girlz. Me had a good night with DH and had a great talk about our relationship. He went back to his Mom's and will keep doing that for awhile but I am thinking maybe there is a chance we may make it back together. I feel much better, things got ugly and it is very emotional for both of us. He was very upset that I made such a drastic decision and is trying to come home to stay. We will see in time how that goes.

My damn internet is down again - I am going to call them and make them give me credit, so aggravating.

So Beans, I am here helping the tenders pack the bus for our road trips tomorrow.Would'nt it be funny is we all showed up in our fancy hats? The folks around us, cept fer Kristy n Lil Kim, would not see us cuz we'd be so teeeeny tiny, they would only see hats. We would keep our girls laughing all day as we drank gallons of vodka, beer, whiskey and wed wine. I can't wait!

And you chemo girls, welcome to the half way point, we will be partying like it was 2010 as we did when our own Beanie finished her tweatments. We will be there with you and holding your hand. Ye haw, you gals are doing great and I am one proud bwest fwend/sister. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Kathy, you alright there? Haven't seen you post and you know we worry. I hope you can drop in tonight and tail us that you and the gang are ok.

HD, my green fwend wif a crooked smile, <<<hugs>>> coming to you. I hope you come in more often, it is really gwate seeing your beautiful green face and that beautiful blond hair. And your smile too. I am thinking we could have a fund raiser event and help git you fixed. I will organize the event. Pants will even strip for us gals for $100 bills which we get from the free cash machinie thingy. You in? Don't be shy now, we love you.

Chrissy B, thinking of you and your DD. Sending more hugs and prayers.

Junie, you wild woman, where are you tonight? I hope you are not getting storms. IF they come your way, please do put on the metal lampshade I just picked up. I was looking for shoes for the royal wedding but found this for you

Astorm, I also enjoyed your post too and can really relate. I am the only one in a family of six who has divorced, both of my sisters have been married over 25 years and my little brother was widowed then remarried. We never think that things could end up ugly after being so much in love. But there comes a time when we have to do what we need to do to stay happy. So are you coming on the road trip tomorrow? Can you help me buy a hat?

Kymn, girly, you are next but going to hit de submit button as I keep losing my signal here. My damn neighbor should move his wireless router to the other their house.

Kymn, do you have your hat yet? And can you help me learn to curtsey? I suck at it, my knees do not want to cooperate.

Lori, wow I am surprised that it has gotten so cold there. I will have the tenders serve ya up a nice warm breakfast in the morning, what time is good, 5am? I just remembered that I also need shoes for the royal wedding, I was going to wear my sketchers but since the other girls wanna look glam, I figured I would find a pair of eight inch platform shoes so I can look down on that skinny princess to be. She is trying to be one up on our own Princess Kymn and we can't have that.

Husker, do you want to practice some drinking songs? I enjoyed playing with you at church. Do you know the song "100 bottles of beer on the wall"? Not many people know that classical piece but it would sure sound great in harmony, ya think? And how about we order a baby grand for our next bus trip together? Have you even been on the bus yet, I drink so much when on board so do not remember.I'll sure be thinking of you tomorrow sister.

Claire, thanks for dinner but I am feeling great remorse.  All I can think of is poor Mary and her little lamb that we ate for dinner.  How could we (does someone have a kleenex, sniff sniff).

Well it is after 11pm and this chick has a big day tomorra, end o monf ~sigh~. I will chug down these last two drinks and get my ass to bed, with my dog....nothing like warm wieners in bed :-)

Peace out girls, sleep well and know that God loves you all!! Nighty night.

    DorK, OUT!

DorK....I use "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" to get me through boring stretches of cycling/skiing.  Especially, the ski back to Hyak which is 2k of B-O-R-I-N-G!!!

Had the rest of the lamb for dinner tonight.  Such a piggie as needed a bit of good cognac to make things an evening.  First WA State asparagus, and was beyond delish.

Wishing for quiet and boring weather.  Perhaps a bit warmer here in the NW.

Good luck to anyone getting infusions tomorrow.  One more to check off.  Onward and upward!!!

Spring is a time of renewal, and hoping all of us move in new and exciting directions.

Chrissy......realize as the antipodes, you are facing winter.  Hoping that all went well with your daughter.

Off for an early night. - Claire

Dear loungie friends--just rec'd an e-mail from Wahine's (Kathy) dau in Alabama.   Kathy and DH are fine and house is undamaged but much damage around them.   They may not have power for a week.  And, Kathy is out of battery on her phone.   Hopefully, she'll be able to get it charged up somewhere and check in with us.    Ms. Wahine--you all take care and we'll be sending Pants to AL immediately-----he's bringing all the likker you like; a hammock; a massage table;a chainsaw; and a generator!!!!

It rained here again most of the day.   After my dr appt we drove around a bit--much flooding; roads blocked off; washed out; lake is almost over two main bridges and one bridge (the one we use the most) is under water.   Have another dr appt tomorrow and have been trying to figure out how the heck we're going to get there--it's over an hour's drive away.   All we can do is try--we'll leave early...Mother Nature must really be mad about something!!!!

Heading out to the pool with some dog beers and tranqs!!!!   hugggsssss to all!!!

Quick check-in. Have to do the steroid slam (20 mg-5 pills) here in about 30 minutes and again at 6:00 a.m. (lordy, what a deal). Am packing my bag for chemo #4 of 6. Getting closer!

Glad all are safe tonight. What a storm. It is time for all this rain and bad weather to come to a close.

Dorothy, I vaguely recall "99 bottles"...I'm sure once we get started it will come back to me. I also can sing/play a really sweet "Show Me the Way to Go Home...I'm tired and I wanna go to bed". Know the rest of that one? I bet Kymnie can sing that one too! And this time we'll quit messin' with the microphone, 'cause turns out she really can sing :)

Good news today. I did genetic testing for BRCA1-2 and was so scared it would be positive as I am triple negative. But it came back negative. I've been weepy with relief all afternoon. So canser is NOT hereditary-just sporadic/random. Was so worried for my sister and two daughters. They have no idea what this means for them for me to be negative, but I bet you guys do.

So...still have things to get ready, need to get my list of questions/symptoms for the onc, and line up the little green pills.

    Good night and God bless!

Hi girls, Oh my!!!!!  Kathy i'm sure glad to hear that you are okay!...........such terrible weather all round! To answer you query, no I haven't been divorced, married to the same fella for 42 years come July........that's not to say he hasn't driven me mad at times but there again I guess I've driven him nuts at times too......lol.......but we complete each other and always have.  I married him for love at the ripe old age of seventeen and I love him still even with his foibles.  He is a very caring gentle man who has mellowed with age just as a good wine should.

Mareike made it through the surgery just fine!  I have been with her all day and aside from the nausea from all the drugs, she is doing very well.  The surgeon called me when she had gone through to recovery and said that the piece of disc pressing on the nerve was even bigger than the first one so no wonder her pain was worse.  He said that he had a very good look in the disc space to make sure that there were no loose pieces before closing her up.   So, needless to say, we are all breathing a huge sigh of relief.........most of all her, now it will just again be healing time and the doc has told her to really take it easy for a minimum of four weeks before she can start to gently ease her way back into PT.  God I hope she does what she's told!

Unfortunately Arie and Camille didn't make it to Cairns before FIL passed.  They left this morning on the 9.40 flight and arrived there at 1.15pm to be met by Arie's youngest brother and his daughter.  The Funeral will be held on Tuesday next so they will both be staying for that and I will take the grandsons home with me in the morning and keep them there for the week.  Unfortunately, they will both miss a week of school but that is just too bad and I'm sure they don't really mind.

Love n hugs to all and thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers. Chrissy

Kathy, sending prayers to you and the folks affected by the horrific tornado outbreak, glad to hear you are safe. I saw coverage on GMA and it is terrible. Popping in the chapel to say prayers for all of those affected. I am so sad for you and you fellow Bamians.  Hope everyone else is out of harms way. Big hug to you my sister. Hope to see you back soon and also hope you get power back sooner rather than later. Love ya!

Good morning my sweet loungettes. I will read and reply while having my wonderful breakfast that my dear friend DorK had the Tenders make up for me this fine sunny morning. And 5:30 was perfect timing......I am usually up earlier, but for some reason stayed in bed this morning.

Kathy, although I was laughing at you, running in and out of the closet to chat, I am watching the news this morning and it's just horrible! But indeed a beautiful area. Is that your house in the last picture?

Beans, thanks for that stubborn mule! We are supposed to get freezing temps again over the weekend, but highs hitting up to 80.

Gail, I have some herbs and lettuce growing too, but glad I haven't put my pineapple sage out yet, as the freezing temps would have done them in. I am actually on my 3 rd marriage. 1st one was right out of H.S., and I later found out that he started cheating on me just 6 mo. into the marriage, I stuck around for 2 years hoping it would get better (which it didn't) and ended up pregnant with my son. Met my 2nd husband, who adopted my son, and we had a daughter. Married to him for 20+ years and just fell out of love, nothing bad, he was a great husband and father, but he did not want a divorce and was quite devastated. And now I am with Darrell for 11 yrs now.

DorK, glad things went well for you and DH....but good that he knows you are messin around! Hold your ground.Too funny about the fundraiser for HD, but great idea! And heels are a must for the Royal wedding, as well as a matching purse and no white or cream is allowed. Heard all of this on the news this morning. LOL @ warm wieners in bed!

Junie, glad you got the update on K. Hope you can get to your appt today. Do you still have the Ark? I hear ya about Mother Nature being mad. Our sales are down 50% because of her!

M....I mean Stanzie, I hope your weather didn't get as bad Kathy's and you are ok as well.

Karen, YES you need more than 4 hours of sleep, holy crap girl. Glad you had a wonderful time with family.

Kristy, so glad to hear you are BRCA negative, what a relief for you. I can only imagine how happy you are. A friend of mine here was positive for that, her daughters tested and one (maybe both) also tested positive. But the one, who hadn't had children yet and wanted to, went and had a double MX and a hysterectomy

Chrissy, what wonderful, kind, sweet words about your hubby. Congrats on 42 yrs! Good news about your daughter, and we all hope she takes it easy too! Enjoy the boys!

Kymn and Kristy........we are they with you today! Hoping you can handle those rough days without too much trouble, hang in there.

Ok, I have my dress, and will reveal later. Of course, mine is pink. Still have to shop for a purse.

Kathy, hope to hear from you later today.

Breakfast was sure good Dork, thanks again.....you are a doll! Now for a drink.....hmmmm. I think A ROYAL COCKTAIL:

Whisky liqueur brand Drambuie has created a cocktail to celebrate the announcement of Prince William's engagement to Kate Middleton.

At the centre of the Engaging Dram, created by brand ambassador Jamie Stephenson, is Drambuie's Royal Legacy 1745 expression.

Stephenson said: "The engagement is such big news I was keen to do something to celebrate, and what better way than with a special dram of Drambuie, an iconic drink with historic Royal links."

According to the brand, its blend of aged scotch whiskies, heather honey, herbs and spices was first created 260 years ago for 18th century Scottish royal Bonnie Prince Charlie.

The cocktail is a mix of 20ml Drambuie Royal Legacy 1745, 5ml lemon juice, a dash of orange bitters and 100ml rosé champagne, all stirred in a mixing glass and poured into a chilled flute. Garnish with a twist of orange.

We had a tad more of the white stuff last night and this am the temp is 32 but really not too bad. We are in a canyon and don't get too much wind here usually. Please drive carefully. Last year I had to postpone one of my last chemo's due to stupid weather, I sure hope you can get to your dr safely.

DottyBabyDoll - So glad you sound so good and like you and your DH are talking things thru. I bin married for going on 16 years and sometimes we drive each other crazy, but we have always been able to talk thru sh*t and admit our faults and be happy together. We also almost always have two homes, like now we have the mountain home and the beach home, so we spend some time apart which is what you are doing right now and I think is sooooooo smart. I am wishing you two all the best!

Karen - Good to hear from you! So glad your holiday was good, now get some rest and don't get sick cuz we need you on the bus to get these gals thru their next chemos.

Claire - great idea to use 99 bottles of beer for the boring parts, I will try that. Thanks for the wishes that we all move in new and exciting directions this spring - same to you!!!

Hoping that NM chicky baby will show up again...did she get such a great job that she has dumped her drinking buddies here?? NM, NM, where are you????

Husker - Congrats on getting to #4 of 6, you are getting there!!! Keep on truckin' and it will be over before you know it. Congrats too on neg for BRCA! I was also neg and understand the relief for family members, I was so worried about my siblings and their kids (I never had children). I was told that if I had been positive, each of my sibs would have a 50/50 chance of getting it too, including my brother. They have such beautiful children and grandchildren, oh my, you just don't want anyone ever to get this crappy disease, so congratulations to you!!!

Chrissy - I love your story about your marriage, so nice to spend your life with someone who is so good, he is so lucky to have you...isn't it neat how people mellow with age? I'm older than my DH so it's been fun to see him change and mellow over our 18 years together (married 16). So glad your DD is doing well too after the surgery, and I hope for a speedy recovery.

Goldielocks - I'm glad you admitted to laughing at Kathy running in and out of the closet, I was too, but dint wanna say anything - he he he! Yeah the news is awful so I'm glad she is okay...I think we will have similar weather, but probly not at high as 80's, just freezing at night, then maybe 60's any way we are posta have sun so I look forward to that, but I might head back to the coast this weekend. My apt in Seattle isn't until May 18 but I'm thinking of going over and cleaning and stuff...Cool info about the Drambuie cocktail, that looks delish this morning, ooooooooo, thank you!!!

Well I'm off to shop for my hat and shoes and purse and all a fluffy pink frock, then will be skinny dipping at the pool and looking for dog beeers! Have a great day galz, TiddyUP!!!

    Hmmmm, this one looks nice...

    Hi all -

The storms were terrifying last night.... still want to hear from Kathy as Alabama was hit really hard!  Said 128 killed in Alabama - 202 killed overall in the southern states and number may still rise. We watched and were ready to go to the basement till around 1:40. I even called my ex at one point as it was headed up 85 straight for our area but winds pushed it more eastward at the last minute. My ex with my kids - all asleep upstairs hadn't been paying a bit of attention! UGH!   The weather people on TV were astounded last night - they said these were storms like you see out in Oklahoma not here - they had some scale and said usually it only gets up to a 7 even with a tornado - last night they were up to 9.8 and they couldn't believe it. The radar was even picking up debris in the tornado which they said had to be large to show up - like houses and cars and such.... very scary - Anyway, Kathy please let us know you are really alright!!!

Dorothy as to my name - with all the weather - appropiately think "Gone With The Wind" - southern..... then I have a story to tell....

Chrissy - glad the surgery went well but so sorry about your FIL. Hope I'm getting all this correct.

Remember the man from the choir who is supposedly going to The Wedding - hmm his story now is not holding water so either he is someone and is covering up who he is or he is mentally not doing very well... eeeeks. The weather now is sunny but chilly! How weird is that!

Ok, will try and get a picture of my cat - as that hat was really just tooooo funny! I think for tomorrow we should all get on and bump into each other and critique the hats and such and heaven forbid if someone wears creme or white! Gasp, Sputter, Wheeze........

Kymm..... no one in all the weird-ass suggestions I have read for enduring chemo mentioned ear plugs!!!  Sounds like you could use a pair right now.

What about taking a nap, and CLOSING the door behind you.

Feel better and try to take the long view.

I finished the dentist and have a haircut in a couple of hours.....the de-shagging (which is not related to a recent "shagging").  Need to look spiffy for next week's conference.  I also need to do a clothes try-on to make sure things look the way I remember them looking.

TitZ up everyone.  Hoping the weather quiets down.  I can't imagine those storms.  So scary. - Claire

Beans, you will look lovely in your red dress!

Ms M......did you find a dress to go with your sunflower hat?

Kymn, I hope you don't crash into that wall too hard. Perhaps you can ask your folks to be a little quieter and you aren't really up to answering all of their questions right now.

Lots of prayers going out to those affected by the tornadoes. So sad!

Well, I have my attire, but I am unsure of which purse to use! Choosing a dress to show off the long beautiful legs I (used) have!

Lori, you look smashing.  Just a quick pop in.  Kathy, my god I am glad you are ok.  Those storms certainly did some horrific stuff.  Stanzie...glad you were spared also. La Nina to blame? Or, are the Myans correct with their calendar and this is just a small warmup for 2012?  We have certainly been seeing some catastrophic stuff across the globe lately.
I had my eye surgery yesterday and I have to say I was definately the youngest in the place and I am not young.  Thanks for all the well wishes.  It was not a bad surgery at all.  I am also like Chrissy as I am a one husband woman.  We lived together before....to my mothers sheer horror but decided to get married when we wanted to have children.  We have shared everything from the best to the worst.  He has been my hero along with my son. I would not change a thing other than this F&cking disease.  Sorry to those that feel it has been a blessing in disguise.  It just doesn't seem that way to me.  Now, I am off to find a clean, pressed tee shirt that I can wear tomorrow.  Waving to you all....from the elbow....only waving the elbow....not the hand.  Her Majesty taught me that!  Laters!  HD
