Dang! It's 'bout time you gals showed up! I was way too lonely & bored! Peggy - had to resort to looking for funnies by my lonesome. Glad to have some company. Although, I am about sacked out! Can someone else keep watch for a while, if I turn in?

Brrrrr, it's cold outside; been collecting wood to put on the fire. NS, I'm ready for some of that chili, I made some cornbread. Hot chocolate sounds good tonight too.

My wagon is covered in a quilt from my great grandmother's house. It is torn in some spots but the sun shines through them. I have radar and anti ballistic missle system next to the cast iron skillets and the cuisinart.

My Red Ryder is locked and loaded. And I have a place for a constant feed into the NIH and ASCO so I can be the first to tell my sisters about the newest things that will keep them safe and with us for a long, long time.

I have a special seat just for Ned. He travels with us always... never know whose wagon he will slip into and suprise with a blessed result....

I have two horses who have been with me forever and I have my sister's horse Phantom for me to ride ahead and scout new campgrounds.
    image

I also have my trusty guide... he watches out for me and keeps the vermin low and is warm in my sleeping bag... he can spot an intruder from a mile away so beware beast!

Great because he can sing the oldies to me! Love them--like Allentown and Born in the USA. Maybe he will even have the E Street Band do some sing alongs....

Fine by me--bring on lots of friends because the grub is good and the company is fine. It won't be "chili" long if we have a nice, toasty fire going!

Don't know but think I sure wouldn't mind finding out. If you need firewood, you might ask Bruce to assist--looking at those arms he could sure carry his share.Whoa....

Sorry to arrive so late. I brought some help to widen the circle as we have lots of new sisters that will be joining us tomorrow. He has a pretty big spread of his own so he should be a big help. For those of you still up, this is Robert, Robert Redford. No, NS he isn't going to try any of his "horse whisperer" talents on your horse!! He'll be leaving at first dawn, so let him rest gals.

My wagon is green and is covered in a red tulip quilt made by my Maw Little. My table is covered with a croched coverlet and my gown is fancy smocked by her too. Thought I would fix everyone her chicken and dumlings (Pennsylania German Style)tomorrow so I will need that big fat black cast iron pot. I can show off her crochet table coverlet when we eat. Marla, do you think some of us could join you on the hike; I can't go far but it is so lovely here. Peaceful and powerful place.

I am going to have to put on a sweatshirt tonight. There is a touch of fall in the air; crisp and clear. If you listen closely you can hear the windchimes ever so softly and a soft breeze plays at your hair. The fire is brightly reflecting in the campsight tonight - I look at the flames and they are dancing; maybe before I arrived the girls did a healing dance by the fire and the fire has continued that dance. I have found this has been a magical place filled with love, compassion, strength and hope. Hundreds are here and more are coming because we have sisters carrying heavy loads. We do what comes naturally when one is hurting - we protect our sisters. We are like a wedding ring - a circle not to be broken, it has no beginning and no end - it is forever.

Robin, Rhymee, Mena, Denise, Cheri, Marsha, Katz & Sara, Gwenn, Pennylane, Diane, Shellills, and new diagnosed Lisa, we hope you have found comfort in our wagon circle; that you have felt the love and the power of our prayers. We pray that you are stronger knowing we are here and that we care; that in the lonliness and darkness of the night when fears creep in, you know we are the friend beside you.

Sleep well, grow stronger; The Force of the Sisterhood is standing watch as long as we are needed. Blessings to all sisters. This circle is strong and can take lots of wind, rain, snow and sleet, even stand against those that want this wagon circle to move on -not yet, we have much to do; we are still needed.

The Force of the Sisterhood is on guard!!

Well I'm also ready for the night shift. Sounds like I made it just in time. NS, your chili is wonderful, as is your taste is music, ahem, or should I say musicians. I think I need some help getting some wood, maybe I could borrow Bruce for just a few minutes.

Oh wow, Naniam you brought the horse whisperer, I don't know anything about whispering to horses but I'd be willing to learn, lol. Your making chicken and dumplings tomorrow......yum! Wow, I bet I've gained 10 pounds on this wagon trail, but it's okay, it's for a good cause.

On a serious note, I hope that the wonderful sisters that we are circling are resting comfortably, and can feel how much they are loved. Hoping that they get great news soon.

    Love and Hugs,
    JoJo

Vicki - that was the song my x-DH and I danced to at our wedding. No wonder we are still great friends and nothing more. I do love Louis and that song.

I'm here watching over all of the sleepy-heads. Thinking of positive energy, good thoughts and peaceful prayers.

Did someone mention rain on the horizon?

(Here Comes) That Rainy Day Feeling Again
    The Fortunes

Here comes that rainy day feeling again,
and soon my tears will be falling like rain...

It always seems to be a Monday,
Leftover memories of Sunday always spent with you.
Before the clouds appeared, and took away my sunshine.

Here comes that rainy day feeling again,
and I'll be dreaming of you baby in vain.

Your face is always on my mind, girl,
I'm hoping you're soon gonna find, girl, your way back to me,
'cause if you'll say you'll stay,
the rainy days will go away...

Here comes that rainy day feeling again,
and soon my tears will be falling like rain

It's 4:20 am, and I'm still up having just been stricken with terror: As Namian put so perfectly, "the lonliness and darkness of night when fears creep in"...so here I am, and I do feel the love and it is overwhelming. You will all help me sleep tonight..well, today...

The terror is partly due not only to progressing mets, but another lump that needs to be, well, you know how it goes...so I am petrified and I came down from my cushy hotel up yonder to hang with my girls hahahah....I brought the cheesecake my boyfriend brought me tonight to share with you.

Thank you again for the love and prayers. I think I'm gonna skooch in with one of you, pssst...move over...you, there...with the gun...I need all the ammo I can get...let me in...Mena...xo

Early morning watch is on duty. Seems like I slept through alot of fun going on at the circle. But, Im awake now - warm coffee in hand. Im wrapped in my blanket. I made it for myself during all of my chemo treatments. So its keeping nice and warm - yes there is a nip of fall in the air.

Its sort of nice sitting here. Its quiet. Gives me time to be thankful for having all of you as friends. Sending out powerful waves to calm all of you special ladies who are dealing with new lumps, chemo, reoccurance, etc. Not gonna let anything that even resembles cancer to break through this circle.

My wagon is white with a big red cross. Im the medic lol. Here to take care of anyone that needs help. So please send all those tired boys to my tent. Please!

Hot biscuits with chocolate gravy sounds awesome. Im gonna run down to the lake for a bit - need to wash up and feel like swimming naked. Shhhhh! Dont tell Peggy.

And Mena. Im chasing that fear away with my iron cast skillet. You should be safe tonight.

And darn, I missed having a coors with fancy. Maybe I will see her in the barns when she wakes up. Well, after the Coors, she might be getting up later.

Sleep well all of you. Morning has just arrived and Im here to protect and serve.

Oh my! Intruders are about. Im keeping watch. Not gonna let anything sneak in while my sisters are sleeping. It must be the smell of the flaps jacks drawing them close to our camp.

Be well, stay strong, and dont give up.
