    ok...
    the stinking horse are loose...
Bruce won't sing without a crowd...
    I'm starving...
I'm hearing strange noises in the woods...Bruce won't check it out...only has a guitar, no gun...what kind of man is that!
Coyotes are circling and I know there's bears out there and I'm pretty sure Carrie's hiding buffalo chips under my wagon to use later for reasons unknown!

Where is everybody...did you all run off to Lini's hoe-down...? Geez. Sorry NS...bored silly here so I'm taking Bruce for a bit.

Good afternoon ladies. My wagon is large and warm. Instead of the traditional white, mine is covered in Tie-dye colors. The back is beaded to catch the light and covered with bells. I guess I’m just a gypsy at heart. Inside you will find warm fluffy blankets and cushions and music playing all the time. It smells of sweet grass mats and a quick whiff of the seashore. You will always find the cupboard in the back filled with great food: fresh baked bread, berries ripe form the vine and chocolate…always chocolate! There is always room for a sister who is weary and needs a safe place to rest, or one who wants to sit up all night and chat…I’m always up for an all-nighter with good friends. I’m off for a walk before supper. While I’m walking be assured I am thinking of all of you and saying a prayer for peace and healing.

Mena sweetie, last night I slept in a hammock in my backyard. I filled it with blankets and pillows, listened to the crickets and stared at the stars. I felt like my little yard was filled with all these sisters in tents, or sleeping bags or whatever it took to be there with me. I feel so much love I could burst (but hopefully not an artery) HeeHee! I apologize! That's how I handle stess.

Honestly Mena, feel us with you always, always, always.

Cookie, (oops) I mean NS, dinner was scruptious!!!

    Love,
    Denise

Oh man, God is definitely with me tonight. My BF just walked in with his guitar...acoustic...one of my all time favorite sounds in the world...we've got some Nirvana, Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac omg...I had no idea he was this good!

Please, gather 'round...he even sings hahaha...I had no idea...this is pure joy. Really I am joyful! Wow...the simplest things...

Last night the cheesecake, tonight this...what's next?

Love to all of you and rest well...I wish you could all feel the way I do right now. God knows, you've helped me get here and for that I am forever grateful...Mena...xo

NS, dinner was great, as usual, and I've finished washing all those dishes. I'm ready for some music by the campfire.....Vickie, I built the fire for you. I'll take over watch for now.

    It's the buffalo chips!
    Yeah
    The milkmaid was very pretty
    And Farmer Brown was friendly
But then, there was the buffalo!
    I gotta say "oh no!"

There's buffalo chips to your left side, to your right side, and all over outside! (Y'know it!)

Deese, darlin' you are MY kind of woman. What a wonderful idea. I live in the country, and I keep my windows open so I can hear the night sounds. The crickets sing the most lovely lullabies!

I am like Peggy, just checking in. Can't stay. It is warm here and there is love. There is lots going on and I am not myself and AlaskaDeb I would come into your wagon and but it is one of those days you would think you were in the middle of a river. Have fun. I will continue to wrap all of you in love and prayers. Brenda

Yes I am a Jersey Girl. Go to the shore almost every weekend. Bruce was supposed to marry me way back when. Then that Julianne Phillips took him from me..
But now that he may be back, we can fight over and then share him. Isn't that what sisters do??

Ok- always wanted to go Bruces jersey shore.. and I don't live that far! So you used to date him??
    Then he wrote about you-
Are you Mary, Sandy, Terry or Rosalita?????
    be still my heart.

Hit me with some of that, NS! I could use it. My nerves get messed up when I read the nonsense going on 'round my sisters!!! And I'm not kidding about that!

We got back from our hike - this is what's on the other side of those mountains...

    image

Beautiful, isn't it? Thought you ladies would like the view. Didn't find the end of that darn rainbow!!! I was hoping to run into some leprechans and a pot of gold!

Are there any leftovers? I'm getting some rumbly in my tumbly.

do you know how hard it is to be in NY and have a long hair cat and a groomer who lives in OHIO???

All I can say is - he is starting to look like Bob Marley.

I wasn't going to join you on the wagon train cuz' I hate dirt and dust and bugs and stuff. Then I went back to the OP, and read this thread's purpose; circling the wagons around our sisters who need us now during troubling times. I can take it all - but please! Guarantee that there won't be mosquitos!

Emotions are high right now so please, please let's not lose any more of our more prolific/funny/informed/caring sisters. We need one another more than ever.

Awwww. Anyone up for a group hug?

When my daughters were in high school, we went to Asbury Park one summer. It was completely awesome!Quite ethnic, but still the shore.Pink clowns of cement which blew bubbles out over the beach.A boardwatrlk, arcades, and all over, Bruce, Bruce, Bruce(his music, being played on the boardwalk PA)!
We had our fortunes told by Madame Marie.
Bruce & the E Street were gone, but not very long gone.

    Rosalita come out tonight!

Wild storms? Oh they scare me. Thats why I was huddled in my wagon and slept through it all. But Im awake now. Back on watch, making sure all of my sisters are safe.

Ahh! The smell of coffee first thing in the morning. What could be better.

Yuupers! So I'm sitting here thinking of all my friends. Im stomping my foot and waving my Italian finger. Not gonna let anything bad cross this circle.

As I sit here and contemplate. We are strong. We take care of each other. We are invinisible. We are women.
