Isn't wagon circling symbolic of the whole 'support' idea???
Jean, I just read about your eye. Get in here in the middle! It is so comfy and warm, I almost forgot I had a problem (until I banged my head on my daggone hammock pole!). That's gonna make a pretty CT picture!
I'm wishing good stuff for you.

Mena, My martini earlier upset my stomach. I think I'm off the hard stuff for good now. Did we make it up the hill? Is that where we are now because the valley down below is beautiful? It's so much clearer up here. I can almost touch the stars. Catch you all in the morning. Everyone have a safe and peaceful night. Pleasant dreams....

Hi Rhymeee, I'm here with you for the night shift, I'm a day sleeper too, so I usually grab the overnight shift. So glad to have you back, it's kinda lonesome on this shift. We really have missed you, try not to get lost in the woods again, lol.
To all of our sister's in the middle of our circle, I hope that you have a peaceful night, and that tomorrow will be a better day. Mena and Amy, I'm so sorry that the chemo is making you feel so bad. Jean, I'm glad that you are safely in the circle tonight, we will keep you safe and pray for everything to be okay. Sleep well sisters, you are loved, and protected.
Love,
JoJo0 -
I am on for my shift too- but Carrie, please keep those dogs away from my cat. you know chocolate lab is his favorite flavor!
Everyone in the circle rest well, know that your chemo side effects are lessened in the cool mountain air... and jean you come here and have some chocolate mousse with me...
and let's leave some room for Stef (Boobbuster) hopefully she saw my other post to her and she will come by for some soothing chicken soup for the tummy and the soul.
The stars are bright tonight...I see Venus...she will be visible for the next month or so... she is not only the planet of love, but of harmony and peace... may her light shine on all of us.0 -
Hi Everyone. I guess I am on the late, late shift as usual. I have kept all of you in my heart and prayers.
The night air is crisp and I know fall is upon us. Oh, did you see that beautiful sunset? There were reds, oranges and at the distant edges a light blue. When I think of the warm colors it was as if heaven were reflecting the warmth of this circle. There is a mist over the mountains tonight so there will be a heavy dew in the morning. All is quiet in the camp now and I have time to enjoy the beauty of the mountains but I realize that it is in the valleys that we grow. In the valley we are one, supporting and needing each other. Often when we reach the mountain tops we forget the lessons of the valley. Oh, sisters, my prayer is that we never forget our time in this valley called breast cancer. May we never turn away from our sisters; may we never forget our pain only to inflict pain; may we always be that helping hand to pick up a stumbling sister.
To all sisters, whatever your pain, it is in the valley we unite and we reach the mountain top hand in hand. Rest well dear ones.0 -
Amen, Brenda.Love to you, and comfort and love to everyone here.

Good morning to you all! I have fresh bottled water for everyone to start the day out right. I also have fresh fruits, along with a watermelon fresh off the vine. For those of you that like a little more for breakfast, we have fresh homemade buttermilk biscuits just like mother used to make along with some good sorghum syrup that will stick to your ribs and everything else for that matter. Good slab bacon and plenty of sausage to feed everyone. Don't forget to scoop up some butter and put it in your sorghum and mix it up just right. You will know you have it just right if you scoop your buttermilk biscuit through it and it's so thick your biscuit comes apart.
I slept through yesterday after getting my 8 hours in at work so I missed alot. Xeloda is kicking my butt! I sure hopes its doing what it needs to do to make me feel this bad. 2000 mg every 12 hours. Is this a normal dose. Man its rough.
Ok I will quit whining now. Heres hoping everyone has a wonderful day and sending positive energy to all those that need extra support and a shoudler to lean on. Cancer is a powerful thing as we all know but with the strength of us joining together we can beat anything. Amy0 -
OMG. I just woke up. Guess the safety of the circle worked. Im usually up at 5am and its 9:30!
So have we reached our new destination yet as I sit here with a cup of coffee, trying to wake up. Oh yeah, and too many bloody marys last night makes a nice girl not so nice the next morning lol.

OK ladies---FIELD TRIP! Consult at 2 p.m. this afternoon for 1.7 x 1.8 mass. I am going to look mighty funny going thru town followed by all the wagons but who cares! Looking funny has never been a problem for me before just as long as I have my makeup on. Hot fudge sundaes on me for everyone afterwards! You'll know which one is mine---it will have Zanax sprinkles on top!

A field trip...cool. I'm packed and ready to follow you. Zanex sprinkles...I'll have one of those too!!! Couldn't make it without my Zanax.
Trying to imagine a wagon train through Syracuse...that would make the news in a hurry!
lv2cmp...wow...that's quite a breakfast! I'm camping with you from now on!
debbyfive...I'm here to stay until our sisters are all ok...guess that could be a very long time but worth the wait!
Chemosabi...hooray for a good nights sleep...your well protected here.

Oh silvergirl I hate to hear that but that leaves the rest of the % that it wont be mets. I know that doesn't help right now as all kinds of thoughts go through your head.
((((((wrapping my arms around you silvergirl9114))))) its ok to lay down in the floor and kick and scream and yell out that its not fair. Sometimes it does help.
