Hi ladies, haven't really read back so will pick up from here.
Shrink, good luck with your surgery Monday; we'll be thinking of you. Whoever is driving the magic carpet will come get me so I can be with you too. I had a bilateral with free tram and can't remember if my experiences will help with yours - chemobrain.
Nicki, Vicki, and Gina, glad you guys are seeming to get the circle back in shape. I for one am tired of all the BS going back and forth - we all have much more important things to worry about.
Sue, glad to hear Adele is hanging in there. Please give her a hug from me.
Odalys, I'm sorry to hear that mom isn't doing well. I was there last year with my mom and she seems to have stabilized. Hubby was always very close with his mom and when she was so sick, he told her he was ready to let her go and we got the call at 6:00 the next morning. Keeping your mom in my prayers.
To all I haven't mentioned, you are in my thoughts.

Good Evening everyone,
Will be my last post from Va. as I am heading home tomorrow. Going to be awfully hard to leave these two little ones behind. Tammy got a Christmas tree today and I put the lights on(oh, how I hate to do that job!!) and then Lilah and I put on the decorations. She is so excited and just keeps going "A Kristmas tee, A Kristmas Tee".
Vickie - thanks for the words to "A Wonderful World" - I love that song - don't do well trying to sing it but love it.

Denise, having worked in medical I've seen things that make you itch just thinking about them. Try cutting off a cast and have roaches run out - had raw places from trying to stick a coat hanger down the cast to get relief.
Bren - how you doing? You decorating any yet for Christmas?
Nickie - hope you had a good day. Has been kind of windy here today - that always makes me think of you.

Odalys I know it's hard to watch you mom go through this. Just be sure to let her know you love her and that you are grateful for all she's been able to give you.

I have chemo tomorrow and see the Onc. Think it will be the first time Scott will actually be able to see her too.

Evening ladies...
I have been gone quite a long time...over a week ago my mom flew cross country from Florida and hardly left my side for the whole time..my husband threw me a surprise 65th birthday bash at our local country club on Sunday and there were 75 friends there to greet me..what a wonderful time...we had the family here for TDay so I had alot of work to do...then just as we were leaving to take my Mom to the airport we discovered a leak..it turned out to be a leak in our copper line in the attic and had been doing it for quite a while...so the plumber and the dry out team all discended on our house for the day..we have to have the quipment running until Friday..lots of noise...
So now I have to read back tomorrow...

Good Moring Everyone! My comcast has been on the fritz and I couldnt get onto the computer. I have been awake since 4AM going crazy.
Then right before its time to take a shower, I see this cable laying on the floor. I plug it in and Im back online. Of course now I have no time to talk other than to say hello. I will catch up will all of you tonight.
I missed coming here so much this morning I almost called in sick! But then I thought I only have one more sick day left and better save it for when I need it.
So much for online shopping. Im at work at get a telephone call from my DH. Says he got an "I got my eye on you" tshirt. Asked him whos name was on the package and he says yours! Geesh! Anyways, I have a bigger box coming and told him he cannot open it.!

Here's Nicholas at 2 1/2 weeks. He's a month old now! Thanks for reminding me about checking the oil in tank. It's been a week, so I better go get my trusty stick and do some checking today!
Maybe we should all got to Vegas with you and do Pinkstock out there! Actually, the north rim of the grand canyon isn't far from there. Or Bryce Canyon in Utah. Or Snow Canyon in Southern Utah is in St. George, which is a hop, skip and jump from Vegas. Lots to do there. Zion National Park is near there. Also, the north rim, like I mentioned! The most beautiful country on earth!!

Nicki: The bugger snooped! My DH gives me so few ideas for him for Christmas, that he just about knows what it is before Christmas! Thanks for the heads up on the Scabies (Ginas site)........trust me, that is the first thing I thought of. Supposedly he is being seen every other week by a nurse from VA..........they gave him Benedryl and one of the Cortisone Creams.....Sad to say, I have tried to avoid human contact with him.....gloves and hazmet suit........perfect combo for this one!
Okay, went Christmas shopping today..............I really hate big malls! These malls where they are 2 stories high................they mess with your mind............go in one store, take an elevator down to their main floor, walk out into the mall and ......................you're totally lost. Cuz you go in on one floor and there is another exit on the other floor. I know, I'm hopeless..............need a damn GPS to go shopping! Yup, I'm a small town girl!

Hello everyone. Its such a fun time of year. I hope you all had a wonderful day. Im home late from work, dont have much time but wanted to say hello to everyone. Between my comcast going out and work I have had some board withdrawal.
Margo: Second package came today. They sent the wrong hat. They are sending a new one and I get to keep this one! 5 items came in this tiny little box so he sorta knows but doesnt know everything I got. Glad your having a few drinks on me. Im tipping my glass of Pinot Grigio to you right now.
PurpleMB: Well let me first say Im sorry I missed crazy Bob. He sounds like a hoot! Pretty funny about DH getting the boob. Maybe I should send him a box of coal? Im just really enjoying the holidays so much this year.

Bren, I was thinking today as I was driving home that I didn't remember if I told you how cute your grandson was. You posted his picture about the time I was getting ready to leave for Va and I couldn't remember. He is a doll !!! Did you have a good time at your sisters for Thanksgiving? You going there for Christmas? Give me a call if you need to bring your hubby this way anytime soon.
I'm tired and I have work that needs to be done tonight. If I don't stop and do that now I'm gonna make a mess. Hate being gone and coming back to work that has piled up.

Yep worked all week. got ot on Mon & Tues and short 1.5 today cause of Che,o and Onc appt.
Chemo is working again and onc was very happy to hear that I've only had minimal pain this week. Still sending me to the pain clinic next month though. Wants to find a better way to manage what pain I do get since I'm so sensitive to the pain meds.
Scans won't be til mid Jan except for Brain MRI that is this Friday.
Won't go back to doing the avastin until all wounds are healed and that could be a long time. But will stay the course of the Abraxane until we get the Jan scans done to see if it's are still working good.
Need to remember to take all my meds this week as I was really bad about it the last two weeks.
Getiing tired and have an early morning again so I'm off for bed.
Sorry I haven't responded to anyones posts but please know I'm thinking of you all.

Good Morning Everyone! What a joy it is to have my computer back. Another busy day for me. I have 2 meetings and 6 hospitals to go to. How dare my job ask me to work!
Vickie: Good morning sunshine sister, although I know there isnt much sunshine in your house today. I am so sorry about your dog. Its heartbreaking. They are like family and it hurts when we lose our best friends. How is Nate taking it? Such a sad thing to happen. Just sending you a big hug today.

CY: What great news. The chemo is working again. I have heard that abraxane is good stuff. Dont worry about posting a note to everyone. Just come here and check in as we do worry about you alot. Its a good feeling this morning. I have a big smile on my face to hear the chemo is working again. Love ya!
Bren: Your new grandbaby is just so darn cute. Glad I made ya laugh yesterday. Especially about the DH thingy.
Shel: Im sorry you are having to go through all of this stuff. Glad that you have Tina to help. She is a wonderful person and good friend.

Vickie: I just feel so bad for you and Nate. I dont know what I would do if I lost my Mister. All of my animals are part of my family. They certainly are an extension of me. Some of my saddest times in my life were r/t losing one of my pets. Hoping Nate is doing OK. Hard for a little one his age. Shoot hard for us at our age. Sitting on the comfy couch listening to funny memories from you!
Joyce: Oh boy, what a great topic for your first support group. When it comes to the top 20 stressors in our lives, the Holidays are in the top 5! You have to let us know how it went.

Newsletter from the "agency" today...........All Colostomy and Ostomy care (including changing bags) are to be done only by RN's!!!! This is getting ridiculous..................and can't you see us calling a RN to service a House/Hospice Client everytime the above needs attention!
As far as the "itchy" client...........it wouldn't be the first time I've brought in APS.
Isn't it about time Susan gets her Fanny home? I think I'll give her a call and tell her just that!
I received a Christmas Card from Cheri today.............Cheri, if you're reading, I miss you and wish they'd relent and let you come back!

Hi everyone hope everyone is doing ok is mena sick i havent seen her in a while tell her i will be praying for her i miss talking to her girls ive had rough day i was sent to a pain clinic where i was treated horrible the pain doc said a stage 4 cancer patient didnt need pain meds every month so he refused to write my pain meds or my pain patches for me so i am in real bad pain tonight and afraid i am going to go through withdrawls he said i was doctor shopping because i had a cancer onc and a family doc girls i dont know what to do about my pain my legs hurt so bad from the cancer and my spine it is also in my ribs and liver he said all i need is motrin and i cant take mortin because of a ulcer he also made me show him where they put a rod in my left leg i took that as he didnt believe me about my bone cancer and he had all my reports there in front of him what would you all do i am so scared of how bad my pain will get after ive been on perocets and pain patches for so long please pray for me to get through this love deb from ky

Slonedeb, big hugs!!! Can you call your Dr's to tell them how badly you were treated? Gosh, this just doesn't seem right..they are supposed to help you. I will prayer for you not to have that much pain.Try to think happy thoughts...think of us all surrounding you with our love..perhaps it will help you.
