Hi girls, haven't been around for a few days so have some reading to do but did hear CY's news.

CY, hugs to you.  I hope you enjoyed the concert and the Nutcracker.  You and your family are in my prayers.

Neesie, we buy a wreath for Joe's mom's grave every year; one year we bought a small Christmas tree with ornaments - would you believe someone stole it?!!

Vickie, good luck with the new job tomorrow.

Odalys, glad to hear that mom has stablized and is home.

Nicki, powerful post.  Wanted to tell you, Comcast has been acting up for a few weeks now and today was the final straw - Joe and Ryan were watching the 49er game and the high definition was like watching slow freeze frames, then the TVs would freeze.  TV was better if it wasn't on a cable box; even the internet was down.  So the boys (and Ryan's friend who had come over) were all in the back bedroom laying on the floor and the daybed watching football and they were not happy, especially after not being able to watch Thursday night's game.  I called Comcast - they gave me a credit for $89 and some odd cents since the problem had been going on for two weeks, and they gave my sister a credit of $50.  It's working fine now.

Bren, don't forget, I want to ride the magic carpet tomorrow for Shrink and CY.  Was it Nicki who was making wakeup calls?

Slonedeb, Neesie is right, don't worry about sending cards; enjoy the ones you receive and I think you will receive many.

I better sign off now so I'll be ready for tomorrow morning bright and early for Shrink's and CY's appointments.

Cy - I am so sorry about your new diagnosis.  You are such a sweet, courageous lady.  I am humbled and amazed at what you are able to accomplish while fighting the beast.  We are here for you and will be picking you up tomorrow for your appointment.  They say there is strength in numbers, I hope you can feel our strength because there are so many of us praying for you.  We will keep you in the middle of the circle until and will continue to surround you with love.

Shrink - The magic carpet is headed your way.  God be with you tomorrow and may He guide your medical team through a successful surgery. Don't worry, you are not going to wake up during the procedure...that only happens in the movies.  I am bringing plenty of cinnamon rolls, coffee, and dove bars for us girls who will be going give you to the hospital and waiting for you outside the OR.  Don't you worry about anything, nurse Nicki will make sure the docs have all they need in the OR and will keep them focused and I will make sure everyone has all your medical information ready at their finger tips so they can give you the best care possible.

Slonedeb - so sorry to hear about your shoulder and how you were treated at the pain clinic.  I think the doctor at the pain medicine is negligent and I sure hope your doc reports him.  You could have had a stroke with such high blood pressure.  Good heavens, hearing how you were treated makes me so mad.  That doctor should not be allowed to get away with it.  Please take care.

Vickie - good luck with your new job tomorrow.  I hope everything goes well for you.

Gina - So sorry you are having such a rough time with you girls and chemo.  You really deserve a break.  (((((hugs)))))

Mena - If you are reading this...I am praying for you sister.  Sorry you are having such a rough time and wish there was something I could do for you.  I miss you very much and do hope you are not pain this evening.

Charlene - Nice to see you posting.  I hope you are feeling better and are able to cuddle up with your babies.  How are your beautiful daughters?

Well, computer time is over.  I need to get to bed.  Sorry I missed so many.  Love and hugs to all the CG's from A to Z.

Time to turn in for the night but wanted to just let everyone know you have beenon my mind all day.  Just been thinking about how we have truly become part of a family - probably closer than lots of families.  I see your faces and I put voices with names - how I imagine your voice  would sound.

Cy, I hope you truly enjoyed your weekend.  Make sure when you see the neuro guy tomorrow they give you a big room.  That Magic carpet is going to have to leave very, very early to pick up everyone but we'll be there.  You have our hearts and we have your hand.

Shrink, be jumping on that Magic Carpet as we come riding your way.  Hope you can get some rest tonight; we have your hand too.

Nicki, your words rang loud and so very true this morning when I read them. Thank you for saying what many of us just couldn't find the words for.  Don't forget to wake me - I'm kind of a sleepy head.

Bren, swing by and pick me up and then we can be on our way.  Looks as if there is some bad weather around that you're gonna have to deal with as you guide the Magic Carpet.

SloanDeb, sorry to hear that you have injured your shoulder too.  I agree with everyone else, don't worry about cards; just enjoy the ones you get.  There is always next year.

Charlene, hope that you have gotten some rest - you have had a busy weekend.

Vickie saw on the news a few minutes snow in New York so I figured you wer getting some also.  Hope your power stays on.  Good luck on the job tomorrow.

Margo and Denise - hugs to you both.  I agree, WHEN is Susan coming home?

    Night everyone, Brenda

here I am at 1:30am, I can't sleep and an anxios about tomorrow. And waht the future hold for me.

I'm trying to clen out two rooms so thst mr DD, SIL and grand kids can move in. It will help tham I I think us too. Just not sure how fast I can do it. I'm still going to try to work as much as I can but not sure what that will be. We're all scared some more than others Me I have way to much that need to be done to let this get in the way. My floks will be up here some time late next week, my sister charle lives near by and my ex bil not to far way. They all say they well be here to help. But that's kinda hard when it things I need to decised to keep file shread or give a way. but I will fond a way to let them help me cause I need to get it done very soon

I'm looking into the extreme home makeover any thoughts on what I can say for it? I'd love to have a fully function bathroom and get rid of the mold in my bedroom and family room. I have a1200 sq' house on hust shy of a 1/4 arce. I'm trying to make arangements for one dd and famiuly to move back in and possible anther dd and family to. But the house is just so small.

My income pays the mtg, car & Mrdical ins. if I have to go on disability it wont even beging to cover it.

I keep praying that the good Lord show me the path abut I don't see it yet.

I had a great timr at the Trans Sibaeran Orchartsa yesterday and the Nutcracker today. both were thing I have never done before. it was just Scott & Charlie yeaterday. But today both my DD's and their spouses, my ex BIL Charlie and Scott went. it was really nice family time. WE enjoyed a nice Japanese Steak house after the ballet. Some areas were still getting snow so we all went outr own ways so w3e could get home safely.

Charlie is going with Scott and I to met the neurosuregeon and lean what is in store for me now. I think it will help her to focus and not be so scared too if she hear it from the dr.

    enough about me,

Shrink we will be with you bright and ealy and you will be fine.

Vicki good luck on the dirst day of the new job. Hope Nate is cuddled up in hes horse blanket.

Kicki, my brave warrior, I'm so pround to have you on my side.

    Good morning cg's...

Only have a minute...power has been off and on...really nasty outside and can't be late on my first day!

CY...I love ya so.  Nate uses that blanket every single day...if it goes in the washer it has to be dried the minute the washer stops and back on his bed.  He truly treasures it.  I treasure you...we all do...you are in my prayers constantly.

    Nicki...wake up sunshine sister!

CG's all around...I'm sorry I don't have time this morning to talk to you all...gotta run...will have to leave early to get there on time with the weather.  Thank you all for your well wishes.

    Love and hugs

Don't forget to pick me up on the magic carpet.

Shrink...you are going to be just fine.  Mazer is great fun in the waiting room and sometimes we even sneak him into the operating room to make sure everyone "stays in line".  Hugs to you for your day.

Good Morning, Good Morning!  WAKE UP CALL!  We have a busy day and lots of people to pick up.  Im dressed and ready to go.  Distorted Humor is smiling.  The magic carpet is warming up and we will be off.

Shrink:  Good luck with your surgery today.  Just imagine us sitting in the room with you, and if you get scared, one of us will hold your hand.

Vickie:  Good morning sunshine sister and thanks for twinking my toes.  I overslept!  Have a wonderful 1st day at work.

CY:  Well what is that neurosurgeon gonna think when we fill his room!  So much has been done lately in the treatment of brain mets and I know he will come up with the right treatment plan.  Maybe your house is small, but it will be filled with love.  Im glad your family is coming to stay with you.  As far as working, I know what you mean as all of our insurance is through me.  In fact all of our income is through me.  One step at a time!  Glad that others are going with you as if it were me, I dont know that I would be hearing everything the doctors is saying.  BTW - we are all dressing up in our battle gear!  Hell, I feel like chewing bc up and spitting it out, then stomping on it and crushing it into tiny pieces.  Good luck today.

Neese:  We always seem to miss each other by seconds.  Im a little worried about Distorted Humor.  He hasnt been out in a while and if he sees any cookies, he will start running down the hospital corridors to get them.  Quiet he is not!  Love sick for Mazer he is.

Vickie:  Figures you would have icy weather your first day at work.  I think you got the storms that we had Saturday night.  Now wont you look funny when we swoop by your new job and grab ya.  You can go on the magic carpet or ride Distorted Humor with me.  Good luck today.

Sheri:  I looked down and can see you running to catch the magic carpet ride.  Just swooped down and grabbed ya.  We have lots of work to do today.

Margaret:  OH boy!  Bet your family was upset having to watch the football game on a small television.  Glad your comcast got fixed.   This is really the first time I have had trouble with it - they better straighten up their act or I will be looking elsewhere.  Gotcha covered for the magic carpet ride.  I think its Bren and Mazer at the wheel.  Love ya sister.

Odalys:  I have made a special spot for you.  I mean riding the magic carpet with a business suit could get quite interesting.  Thanks for the cinnamon buns.  This time dont let me hold them - or they will be gone in a flash.

Brenda and Candie:  Just picked both of you up too.

    OK - gotta go.

Good luck to everyone.  May God bless us - each and everyone.

Good Morning and been on this carpet for a bit now to make all the rounds. Had a rough time getting in the air here as the wind is really blowing.  Think Nicki brought those Chicago winds with her!!!!!!!

Shrink, got your hand and the surgery will go well.  Thinking already of bringing you home.

Vickie - sorry the weather is bad for your first day of work. Hope the power comes back to stay.

Candie I have had both those procedures and the prep for the colonoscopy was worse than the procedure; but heck, after BC and the treatment I thought they were a cake walk.  Colonoscopy is something we all need; sending you good wishes today.

Cy - Glad to hear that you enjoyed your weekend.  I think we all understand that you were up and had lots of things on your mind.   I saw the Trans Siberian orchestra on public TV last night - I bet you enjoyed seeing them; I sure enjoyed watching.    I know the path seems really dark right now but lets see what the neuro guy says today.  The Abraxane (spelling) was helping so I'm going to have faith that the gamma knife will take care of this too.   Just write and tell your story and why it is important to have the house makeover - how it would improve your life and bring joy and comfort during some difficult times.

Better run.  Have a doctors appointment myself.     Big hugs to all!!     Brenda

I'm ready and waiting.  Dressed in my warm winter woolies.

Shrink, everything will be fine and we'll all be with you.

CY, we're with you too.  You are a fighter, and we're with you to fight that fight.  As far as Extreme Home Makeover, I think it's a great idea - I'll write the letter for you if you send me a video and photos like they said.

Candie, are you having a colonoscopy?  Good luck.  Brenda is right, the prep is worse than the procedure.  I did mine earlier this year and I don't have to go back for 10 years.

Love to all from A to Z.

ahhhh...its been a loooong day.  Power went out in the night, managed to get up on time anyway...got Nate ready...headed out the door...nasty snow and ice...get in car and can barely get out of my driveway...thinking "what the heck, these are studded snow tires!"...get out on the road and can't go anywhere...thinking that the roads are covered with ice...ummm...wrong....flat tire!!!!!!!!!  Called my sister who gave me a ride in and a ride home and called the garage to get it fixed.  What a great way to start the day!  I tell ya...there is a little black cloud following me around again and I'm pretty darn tired of it.  Someone do a rain dance so it will go away!!

Hoping that all is well with Shrink...had a ride on Distorted Humor...that was an experience to remember LOL.

CY...sending more love...you are in my heart and prayers.

Today Scott, Charlene & I went and saw the neurosurgeon. We looked at the MRI done on Nov 30th compared to the one done last May. There are at least two large spots and a lot of small spots on the newsts MRI that were not seen on the one in May. The spots are cellls that got into the brain and have swelled putting pressure. It is not brain tisse that has gone bad. Because of the number of spots it may not be best to go the Gamma Knife route but rather to go the whole brain radation route and if need to done the road go gamma knife. They did another MRI today with a finer look to see if they can tell what the smaller spots are. At any rate I have a very hard and long road to recovery in front of me.
Most likey I will have to quit working as some fuctions may be limited. it can be a few months to a year before we will know all of the affects.
My goal right now is to maintain as much of a normal life as I can and spend time with family. I fell there is still a lot left for me to do and my time is not yet here.

I ask that you keep my family in your prayers as this will be as hard on them as it will be on me. In some ways harder I think for them. Financially this id going to be very difficult but I trust the good Lord will see us through.

I will know more in the days to come as to how we will proceed with treatment.

Right now I'm going to concentrate on cleaning out my house and making things as simple as possible. I've got a lot of stuff to get rid of  and make room for family to be here if they want to be.

well that's all I know for now

Shrink I hope your surgery went well.

Vickie you can have some of this rain we're getting. It melted all the snow here but my daughter is stuck at her house with no water and power going in and out. The roads are closed for landslides and the bridge is out. I told here to pack up a bunch of stuff and get out as soon as she could. I want her and the grandbabies here!

I know you all were with me today and that's how I was able to get the repeat MRI and get the darn machine working, it quit twice while I was in it. they had to call for repairs but we managed to finish the procedure. I think Mazer and Distored Humor both gave it a good swift kick to getting it going again.

Sorry if you got drenched we are havinging a lot of wind and rain here today. I think it's made up for the lack of rain we had last month.

Going to make some rounds and will stop back by in a bit

Love HUgs & Prayers to all

Big hugs and lots of prayers
