Good Morning Everyone: No pictures, no time for me today. I woke up late. Trying to down this coffee as fast as I can before I hit the showers.
I still have a little nagging headache, dont want to go to work, but they say 85% of success is just showing up. Hope thats true.
Have a great day.

Hey all! Just saying hi! xo Colleen

Liz and Neesie....when you contact your travel agent for warm weather trips, count me in. We have LOTS of ice here today and many school cancellations. I've already slid into the ditch on the lane and I'm ready to head for warmer places. Deb..we didn't get much snow to send your way, just this glaze of ice and I don't think you want that! Gripe...gripe....gripe! LOL
Hope you all are warm and cozy this morning. I'm off to tackle "house decluttering." I may reappear later if all goes well!
Have a good day ladies!

Hi girls, just now getting around to reading. The graduation party was a success. My sister and her ex, who hate each other (she moved up here with her kids and he took her to court, they went back and forth with custody battles and then she was dx with cancer and couldn't fight him any longer - he got the kids and she paid him $800 a month in child support), shared the expense of Jennifer's graduation party. Everyone got along great and it's the first time in over 15 years that all my kids and hubby went on a "vacation" together. Brought back memories. I was so tired last night I went to bed at 8:30 and slept until 4;30 this morning.
Vicki, what movie did you see, and where do you see a movie for $3.50?
Odalys, how is mom?
Neesie, did hubby manage to keep the water in the hot tub from freezing? We had a large one on the deck in our bedroom and the motor went out so hubby took it out, rebuilt the deck until we get a new one. I miss it but don't want to spend the money on one right now. Oh, just read that your hubby managed to unfreeze the pipe.
Bren, I laughed when I read your post about putting on the big girl panties. My daughter was whining about something the other day and I told her to put on her big girl panties and deal with it. She was laughing so hard she almost fell out of her chair, she said she loved that saying.
Nicki, I saw that episode of Semi Homemade. Too lazy to make the frame though. I laughed at your zit theory.
Vickie, I have the elf yourself of Shannon, Kirsten,, Jacob and Jocelyn; it's hilarious.
It's so cold here this morning I don't want to get out of bed but I must. Time to shower and go to work. Love you all.
Margaret

Vicki drive safe the ice is terrible here....
OK flying by but dropping off wood for the fire and thinking hot cocoa and tea for others... hugs

Vickie, love the elf pictures.
I'm hoping all the oklahoma girls are safe and have electricity. We managed to escape most of the ice here. I will call Cheri later and make sure she made it.
Liz, Donna, Wild? ya'll ok??
Lisa, I feel like I know all the women in that picture. that's great ya'll get together so often.
Odalys, love the cartoon. I don't think I have one tiny hormone left in my body. But you know I have been one week without Arimidex. This is my christmas present to myself. I feel better. But will go back.
And Vickie, have you signed on yet today?
MB whose kids are you trying to steal. You get really need a big family doncha???
Nicki I missed the zit theory. I'm sure it was a good one. Wanna hear mine? I had zits when I was a teenager. I was one of the kids you feel sorry for. My skin was really oily. Now I have soft moist young looking skin for someone who is 58 years old. All that oil paid off. LOL
Margo, I can not believe you are whining about cold. You live in Marin don't you. Now, if you couldn't face another day, cause the 49ers are such a sucky football team??? That I could understand. I watched the whole painful thing yesterday.
boo, joyce, neesie, colleen, ritajean, bren, hi to you also.
gotta get back to work.
hugs,
susan

Hi,
Can someone explain what this thread is about?
Thanks!
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Glad to see you posting here. We PM'd once about doctors in your hometown. I copied this below, as it explains the thread much better than I could. Please stay and visit with us!!! You'll recognize BMD and SoCal right off the bat.
Welcome to the Wagon Circle.
I think you will like it here.
The women in the Circle have found their way here from the Newly Diagnosed Forum, the Moving Beyond Forum and the Recurrance and Metastatic Forum. You see, there are no criteria to becoming a member here. Just like there is no criteria for getting breast cancer. We all, somehow, wound up with it. We may be newbies. We may have completed our treatments, we may be trying to live in our New Normal after we have completed everything they have asked of us, and we also may be facing our biggest fear: having done everything we could possibly do to beat it and it has returned.
All our cancers are different. No two pathologies are alike, all our realities of having this disease are different too. That is why all our Wagons are so different. You will see every shape, size, color and adornment on these wagons. But as different as they are they are still in a circle, a circle of strength, courage, friendship and hope. We have been blessed to have found our Sisters sisters who understand everything we are going through and just get it without our having to explain.
We gather round the fire and keep each other company, share a hug or a tear, laugh a great deal of the time, and do our best to keep those of us who are going through especially hard times feeling safe and loved and cared for.
We are family. We take care of each other and even have a place for your kin should you want to bring them.
There is no membership- no special code- the ticket of admission is an open heart. Just come on in and make yourself at home. We have plenty of horses and mules too. There is always an open spot by the fire . No matter where you are in your journey, if you want to be with women who understand what it is to live with this disease, who all become newbies again with each scary test and scan, who all have walked the same path you have, then just follow the smell of the woodsmoke from our bonfires and come join us among the laughter and the cocoa and the stars.
Love,
No Surrender (g)0 -

whew...good evening cg's...been a looong day. Overslept...posted but before I was finished the power went out...stayed out about 5 minutes but by then it was too late to repost as I had to get moving. Lots of ice here...schools were on a two hour delay...left for work and it was freezing fog about halfway to work then freezing rain...fun ride NOT! Hope all our girls in the path of this nastiness are safe and sound. I understand that OK is getting hit really hard!
GINA...YIPPPEE...YOU ARE DONE...MERRY CHRISTMAS...HAPPY NEW YEAR...WOOOHOOOO...You go curl up with Ned and enjoy!!!
Hi Lisa...gather around the fire (its in the lodge for the winter!)and join in...we are a friendly loving bunch.
Slonedeb...glad that things are improving a bit for you...hugs.
MB...ready for Cocoa Beach yet LOL. I promise not to bring "Night at the Museum". Its in the 80's now...grrrr.
Margaret...we saw Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" at a very old, small theater in Owego...its really cheap to go there so thats the only place we go. Not the most comfortable place in the world and not overly warm either but if you take a pillow and dress warm its fun. I'm surprised someone hasn't remodeled as it is a landmark and has lots of beautiful woodwork inside.
Nickster...are ya feeling better? Time for the headache to depart!!
ok...gotta go check on the other thread...see who's dreamin besides me. I'm dreaming of summer LOL.
Love and hugs all around...
Vickie

Hi everyone, so far my area has managed to keep power. Wild/Jan has lost hers and I'm not sure about CasinoGirl. She's in the Tulsa area which got hit hard. OKC got hit the hardest. I have my wrist surgery tomorrow - I'll pop in when I can.
slonedeb - so glad you're home. Rest and take care.
Everyone be safe on the roads (ice) and stay warm. Those of you who are fortunate to live where it's gorgeous all the time - watch out! LOL
Hugs
Liz

Stopping in to say hi, I have not been here for a while! My computer time seems so limited these days and I don't have time to stop at all the boards to make sure I get to all my friends! That will be one of my New Year's resolutions....to try to make sure I visit every one of my favorite threads at least a couple of times a week.
I was feeling really awful for the last couple of days, but this evening have started to perk up. It figures...just in time for me to go back to work tomorrow (I had taken today off to do Christmas shopping, but got nothing done because I felt so crappy).
Gina, congrats on your last chemo! Doing the happy dance for you!
Vickie, how did Nate like the movie? I am thinking of taking my Nate...I think he is around the same age? My Nate is 9.
Lisa, glad to meet you. Where are you in your journey? I just had my last herceptin a week and a half ago, and I just started tamoxifen. My next mammo is in January (I had a lumpectomy) and I am already getting nervous.
I have a muga scan scheduled this week, although this is a no-pressure one because I am done with the herceptin anyway. I guess my onc just wants a post-treatment test to know where I ended up.
Have a good evening everyone! Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
*Hugs*
Kristin

Gina-Great News!! Merry Christmas!!
Slonedeb-Glad you are home,it always feels better being at home.
My oldest son is coming home from the Air Force on Saturday. First time in 4 years he will be home for Christmas. He is finished and does not have to go back. They can call him back up to 4 years. Say a prayer that doesn't happen. He has seen enough!

Hello Circle. Happy day to all.
Starfish-You found the circle. Welcome my friend. This is a wonderful place of love and support. Just jump right in. If you don't post everyday or to everybody don't worry. We just like to know you are here and if you need any special prayers or love we are here for you. The center of the circle is a special place for anyone who needs some big hugs and extra attention.
I got a txt msg from Wild/Jan this morning. They don't have any power or internet and the ice did some damage to their fence but they are fine. The horses are fine too. They have a wood burning stove or a fireplace to keep warm with.
I saw my ps today. I have my stage 2 scheduled for Dec 27. I am sneaking it in on this years insurance by the hair of my chinny chin chin. I decided to skip the nipples and just do tatoo's. I won't get them until next year though.
Off to do some reading around here. Love you all.

Hi gals!
Gina...CONGRATS! What a nice Christmas present!!!! YEAH!
Liz..I saw the pictures of the ice storm in OK on the news. It really looks bad. I wondered how you'd fared. Hopefully you will maintain your power and let's hope the others have their power back by now. Maybe you'll have another day of this wintry mix but it should be heading out pretty soon. They're predicting it to be through Illinois by Thursday night and I sure hope so. We're heading to Tennessee on Friday to take Christmas presents down to my Dad and to check on him. We at least need to be able to make it out of Illinois.
SoCal...enjoyed your picture and really loved the holiday sweater. I used to have lots of holiday things when I taught school but I haven't replaced them lately. I even had socks that played music when you rubbed your ankles together. The kids really loved them!
Well I have LOTS to do and I'm procrastinating....something I do quite well lately, so I'd better sign off and get busy.
Catch you all later. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Good Evening Friends!
Anybody else out there hating Winter? What a day.......left her in heavy fog, quickly turned to "thick rain" then jumped to the freezing crap and then just plain steady rain! I am sooooo glad to be home in my safe, warm little house.
Hoping all you girls in the storms way are safe.............I know OK go hit hard............brings to mind, Liz, WildJan and Casino Girl............I haven't read much yet....but let us know you're okay!
Liz: Hope your surgery took place and you're back home resting by now!
Gina: WOOHOO! I am so happy for you! You kicked Cancers A** again....think you taught the beast a lesson this time and he has run for good!
Rita: You're in! Someplace warm, anyplace warm!!
Someone started a nice rumor that we're dropping in on Madison......she's still warm! Don't tell her though, we don't want her fussing...........or hiding!
Boo: Nice to see you posting more often!
Nicki: I hear ya with the weather! And you guys got it alot worst than we did! Relax.............I'm heading for my jammies real soon!
I got my flu shot and TB test today...............WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, my shoulder is killing me! I've never had a flu shot hurt this way. Oh, and I have a red circle around the TB testing site! Yup, a new form of canceritis! Tuberculitis.............just hope it cures itself by Thursday!
Margo: Sounds like you had a good trip and party. Amazing the exes got along well enough for the event...........my kids 'sperm donor' would never put a penny up for any events...........not even when they graduated high school...........then again, he hasn't as much as sent them a Birthday Card or Christmas Card in well over 10 years. It's Christmas..........don't get me started!
Lisa: Welcome! My pleasure to meet you!
SOCALLisa: Gotta shorten that..........we just have 2 Lisa's now! Very nice picture of you Diego gals!
Joyce: How nice that your Son is coming home! I will pray that he is done and doesn't have to go back..........................I've seen my Son, but this will be the third Christmas that he hasn't been here.
BMD: Good luck with the PS...........and good luck with the stage 2! It just sends shivers up me when you girls talk about getting Tattoos on the tips of boobs............I know the nerves aren't there, but.........owwwwwww!
I have got to do some cyber shopping...........I am way behind on shopping and don't know what I'm getting for the rest of my list.............
I'm going to try and hit the Hamptons a bit later..............Like Kristin.....I have to hunt several threads to find all!!
Kristin: Hope you're feeling better by now..................How are you doing with the CD?
Hugs to all,
Denise

With my folks in town and me back at work I may be off more than I'm on. We are going to try to clear out two bedrooms so my DD and grandkids can move in with us for a while. Wonder where I'm going to put everything????
I'm trying to read but may not be able to post much. Please just know I'm thinking of you all and would be lost without you.
Love to all, Hugs & Prayers.
I love getting the mail.
Madison, I got your package and I have the Cross on. It's beautiful! and I love the other goodies too! Thank you.
