Bren - Nice room and the tree looks great! I'm so glad you are enjoying it. Was Mr. Tim surprised? BTW- I'm not so sure about the memorial today. Maybe because I worked through some of the feelings yesterday. I don't know, my emotions are all over the place right now. Sorry.
MB - Thanks for the invite. I wish we could get away to see some snow. But, I've been summon for jury duty. I'm on telephone stand by for two weeks starting 12/24. I'm hoping they don't call me. The problem is I can't leave town until they dismiss me. BA-HUMBUG!!!!!

So glad you are feeling better today. For heaven's sake ... now jury duty standby! I just write back and tell them I'm mentally unstable. I've done jury duty twice already .. that's enough. BahHumbug is right!!
I've looked into holding a march in front of the White House. It's pretty easy to get a permit. Just have to pick a date, fill out a form and send them $50. So, I will give this some thought and see how much interest there is. Even one person can make a difference.
Thank you again for making such a warm difference in our Christmas. It's really so lovely.

Hi Girls,
Just popping on quickly..........the snow is flying.........about a foot and now we've got the winds. Power is here and there so I'm working with the generator...........hope to get back when the generator isn't so busy! Hope everyone is staying safe and warm.......

I hate to add to the bad news. My mom has taken a turn for the worst and we don't know if she will make it through the night. Her vital signs have dropped significantly, she barely eats, and all she wants to do is sleep. When I got to her house, I sat next to her on her bed while she slept. She opened her eyes and told me she is very tired and she thinks God is calling her but she did not want to go yet because she does not want to add to my troubles and give me such grief. I couldn't stop the tears. I hugged her and told her not to worry about me because I am okay. I love her and I understand if she needs to go with God. I don't want her to suffer anymore. She deserves to rest. Since I was lying next to her, I placed my head on her shoulders and she kissed my head and blessed me. She fell asleep again. When I left her house she was sitting up on the sofa, wrapped in three blankets because she is so cold. Dad, my sis and brother are with her. I wanted to bring Steven home. He doesn't really understand what is going on other than he knows grandma is very sick and she may join his other grandma in heaven soon.
Ay....sorry for dumping all this on you. I just feel a need to let you know and ask you to please say a prayer for my mom (Marta) so she can find peace. Thank you.
My heart is hurting. It feels like someone has stuck a knife through it. I have to go now. I'll keep you posted.

Odalys, 30 years since Saturday Night Fever??? I remember sitting on the floor in a line at the theater to get in to see it opening night. Then I went back to see it again. Sorry to hear about your friend.

Glad you think the memorial is a good idea. I'm working behind the scenes with a few gals to see if we can pull this off in the early summer in Washington DC. Odalys had a great idea ... and I'm hoping to run with it. I'll keep everyone posted on our progress.

Oh lordy...........left her at 5:30 this morning................this body doesn't do 5:30 in the morning well anymore! I was supposed to get my GD Sunday morning and keep her overnight because her daycare/preschool is closed for the holiday. Well, the storm yesterday prevented that. Sooooooooooo, DH took me to their house this morning (they all work together).......The hour trip is the pits in traffic. Actually, this morning when the roads were bad the traffic kept moving..........coming home tonight the trip was nearly doubled.......stop, go, stop, go...........................I think my DH planned it that way so I'd feel sorry for him making the trip daily!!
They have the roads pretty well cleaned up now, but not a school in most of MI was open today!
I hope you all saw that I spoke with Robin yesterday............go MIA and you will be found ladies!!
Full day tomorrow.......that stupid "work" word is getting involved again..UGH!
