Good Morning Everyone! Ahaha I see Tgirl is wearing the early morning crown today. I was up at 5am - I really was. Just finished exercise again. Whoo Hoo 5 days in a row. I also tried doing the push ups standing - now thats easy.

I cant tell what kind of day its gonna be, still dark. Cant see any stars so I suppose that means it will be another cloudy day. Chilly and in the 30's. And my snap dragons? Would you believe they are still blooming! I know for sure come spring I will be planting them again. Otherwise everything looks pretty yucky. The trees and perennials have really gone into hibernation.

Kristin: I do believe my 3rd A/C was indeed the hardest. The last one seemed easier - maybe psychologically cause I knew it was the last one. Your getting there girl!!

To all of you with little children and getting chemo - I dont know how you did it. When I wasnt at work, I was at home in bed! Has to be very hard trying to take care of little ones. So hang in there.

Tracey: I hope you are feeling better today. There seems to be an awful lot of flu and colds going around. Sweating is good! Whenever Im sick, I wait for the "big sweat" thats how I know I broke the infection. Stay in the medic tent. We will put you in quaranteen, but its a mighty big area. Drink lots of water - and take tylenol for a fever. Not Acetamenaphen though - heard they just pulled the generic off the shelves. Stay well.

Kari: Oh it was so nice to see you come to the circle. Thanks for the update on Mena. How is the new house coming along?

Mena: Yes, this site is slow. Type something quickly then save. Then you can go back and edit and not lose your posts. We do miss you here in the circle. The other day I went back looking at old posts and found that picture of you. The one where you are in a bikini - thanks to Peggy. Oh how I laughed when I saw it again.

NS: Dang insurance! I really believe it is the insurance companies that are now making our health care decisions and that makes me nuts. I hope you like your PCP. With HMO's the less tests that are ordered, the more money the doctor makes. Its very sad, cause we as a nation here in the USA just take it. The insurance companies are making huge profits. Yet, when we get sick - everything is a battle!! And yes Distorted Humor is a doll. His colts win. Thats all I can say. Breeding? He is really good at breeding. Right now he has his eyes on Mazer the Tazer. But since she is a baby he is patiently waiting until next year. Then we will have a mule!! A really fast mule!

Cheryl: Im so glad the surgery is over and even happier there were no side effects to the anesthesia. I think one of the things that is keeping me focused on exercising is talking to all of you about it. So if I come on this site at 5am you will know I was lazy that morning. One day at a time! I would love to join a health club that has a pool because I do love to swim. Im pisces and we love the water. But if I joined, I would probably never go. At least here at home, I have the room and some equipment.

LauraGTO: Oh my the car is beautiful. It reminds me of my sister. He name was Angel short for Angelica. She loved GTO's. Had a black beauty in the 70's. She always loved fast cars. She was the odd one in the family. 3 girls and 1 boy. All Italian with dark skin and dark hair. But not Angel. She was a blond! Blue eyes! We used to tease her that she was a mailman baby. Lost her at age 46 to Ca of the Ovary - but I gotta tell ya the GTO brought back some great memories.

Well, My time is up. Time to shower and go to work. Such a hum drum life. Get up, go to work, come home, go to sleep.

Got some warm cereal cooking. Oatmeal, Farina, Malt O Meal. Great toppings too. And if you dont like warm cereal, the fruit salad is great this morning. Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Have a great day. Enjoy your cake

Officials Say Missing Boy May Be Alive
His Mother Committed Suicide After TV Interview
    By JENNIFER KAY, AP

MIAMI (Nov. 15) - Investigators have renewed their search for a 2-year-old boy whose mother committed suicide days after reporting him missing, saying he may still be alive, authorities said Tuesday.

A witness said she saw Trenton Duckett with his mother, Melinda Duckett, hours before his reported disappearance, said Capt. Jimmy Pogue of the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Investigators have not clearly determined the mother's whereabouts in the 24 hours or so before the boy went missing.

Melinda Duckett reported her son missing Aug. 27, telling police she found a cut in his bedroom window screen when she checked on him around 9:20 p.m. Melinda Duckett committed suicide Sept. 8.

Melinda Duckett remains the primary suspect, Pogue said.

"He could still be alive, and we need people to start looking for him and stop assuming he's passed away and that we're not looking for him," Pogue said.

The witness reported seeing Melinda Duckett with the boy at a restaurant in Belleview on Aug. 27, Pogue said.

"She believes she saw Melinda and the baby during the time that Trenton is unaccounted for," he said.

More details will be released Wednesday, Pogue said.

Trenton's father, Joshua Duckett, said investigators now share his belief that his son is alive. He also declined Tuesday to release new information about the investigation.

"They're just going on the same theory I've been going on," he said. "I'm still 100 percent confident he's alive and well. It's just a matter of finding him."

    GM Circle,

Well, it's a nice morning at this end of the circle. Just about freezing at present, but supposed to rain later (so long as we don't have to shovel it I am happy!). Didn't take notes this morning, boy if you miss one day, it's busy.

CherylG, so glad you got that map to work. Added my name and bookmarked the page. Thanks.

Vickie, great pics. Strange that Nathanial got Strep throat whenever you had chemo. wonder if that was HIS stress response! He's such a cutie. Glad you enjoyed the 'Sons' page.

Nicki, woohoo 5 days! In a row! I am lucky to get 5 days in in a month! Have to get to Curves today, and WW, and groceries. Bought a pilates tape 6 months ago and still haven't looked at it! I'm pathetic that way.

Tracey, hope your feeling better soon. I got my flu shot yesterday and hope to avoid all the other stuff going around. Sometimes hard to do working in a hospital environment.

Cheryl, glad your surgery went well. Hope they didn't mind all the horses and wagons in there with you!

NS, sorry you are having such problems with Insurance. I can't understand how they can refuse things like breast MRI's etc when you are a BC survivor. How the h*** do insurance companies know what you need. In my mind if the doc says a test needs doing, that should be it. We don't have that problem in Canada for which I am eternally grateful.

Laura, loved the car. My son thinks the nitrous idea in cars is 'wicked' (good). Says it should be in all cars so you can zoom sometimes!

Have missed many. Hugs and prayers for all who need them.

    Cheryl,

    Great job on the map.

I have gone thru the first 38 pages of posts and have a list of where everyone is from. I will PM you and we can decide about adding them.

Niki, you inspire me to get cracking with excercising. Walking here in winter is not always fun - I live on the top of a big hill and it gets very windy. Brrr. Am checking out some equipment - maybe a treatmill?

Girls - hate those insurance companies - have since the days when I briefly worked for a manged care company and saw how it deteriorated into a money machine when it was sold to a bigger outfit. What is supposed to be "medically necessary" is often what is "financially necessary". Between my husband's medical stuff and my BC we would be more than broke if we were still state-side.

Anyway, in my travels through the old posts I ran into some wonderful pictures - great men waiting in the bushes near the campfire, classy outhouses, circling wagons, buffalo chips and wonderful children laughing and playing. Good for the soul.
We should resurect some of those and resend them - especially in these days when we feel so heavy. Need to be able to play again and feel light.

Anyone for winter camping? Say at the beach - a warm Carribean or Mexican beach?

I just talked to my daughter. Nancy Grace is coming there Thursday and Friday and constantly calling her SIL and FIL wanting to interview them...they are telling her "no way...they have nothing to say to her" but she isn't listening. My daughter is just wishing that whoever has him would just drop him off at a safe place and let the police know where he is so this can all be behind them.

anyway...I'm rambling a bit...so excited and hopeful again.

    Good Morning circle girls,

The article on Trenton gives so much hope or maybe its my wishful thinking but I am crossing my fingers that the little boy is found.

Cheryl-great job on the map. I went in and added my location. I also liked the idea that you could pick what your person looks like because most had dresses on and well I am not a dress kinda girl,,lol. Great Job!

baldeagle-you were busy going through 38 pages and getting locations. You go girl. I have at times gone through some pages and it was nice to reflect on what the circle has grown into. Thanks to NS for getting the circle going.

Its a rainy day on my end of the circle. We are predicted to get the high winds and possible tornados so better belt down the wagons or they may go sailing.

Lynn48-glad you go your flu shot and hope it keeps the nasty bug away. I got mine about 2 weeks ago and hoping for the same thing.

Tgirl-nice crown you got this morning. Sorry if I was snoring so loud while you were posting but that is my best resting time.

Speaking of resting I think Peanut Annie Oakley was a bit cool last night because she was at the foot of the bed under the sheet and comforter just resting away. I had to run my hand down there and pull her out. Normally she is at my chest resting but this morning she was deep down inside. It was raining out so we were quiet the sight going out with my umberella holding it for 3 little pups to do their business. Needless to say they had getting back inside on their minds. The 4 new pups just rain out but had no clue as to what they were supposed to be doing. I got them back inside and crated with an extra blanket to snuggle in after I towel dried them off.

Lets see,,somebody asked how many pets I have. I think the correct answer is toooooooo many.

    1. Chance-rescue golden retreiver
2-Shad-a black lab that recently showed up who had been treated badly but turning out to be a great dog. No one ever claimed him of course.
    3. Bandie-Australian Cattle Dog-Blue Heeler whatever name you prefer-half dog half monster and instead of herding cattle she herds the little dogs.
    4. Orion-A 6 pound rat terrier who is a cuddle bug and spoiled rotten and loves his and I do say "his" pink breast cancer blanket. I think he was supposed to be a girl.
    5. Spunky-A rescue Chihuahua that is a whopping 10 pounds. Hes just like a crabby old man but cant help but love him.
    6. Molly- 4.5 year old donkey
    7. Lucy-4 year old donkey
    8. Mazer the Tazer-8 month old donkey who is full of herself.
    9. Maggie-2 year old goat
    10. Molly-2 year old goat
    11. Libby-new rescue part terrier part whatever very young
    12. Emma-new rescue part terrier part whatever very young
    13. Jackson-the hefty one of the new rescues part terrier part whatever. very young
    14. Abby-new rescue part terrier part whatever very young

I think I spend more on animal food than I do on people food.

    Laura-love the car!

Wow Nicki 5 days in a row. Exactly when should I start feeling guilty??? hmmm I will think on that one.

ok I know I have missed so many but work is busy so will try to check back in later.

Good morning girls. I think the kidlets gave me a cold. UGH. I am all achey and feeling a bit crappy this morning. And I slept till 6:30. That never happens. Still have not heard from endo about my test results. I am getting annoyed. Have left a message every day since Thursday. So not cool. Also finally broke down and called my gyn yesterday for rx of effexor. He has been pushing it since my ooph but I have resisted. Decided I'm tired of having to take sleeping pills to get 5 hours at night. Well the bumm didn't call me back either. I am gonna get a complex.

Amy, yowsers, thats a lot of critters.

Susan, glad all is well. Cracking up that you forgot.

    Liz, are you sitting today?

    Laura, very very cool.

NS, I have a Mini too. My kids call it a "go cart on steroids"...I call it my little beep beep. I love my car.

    Hugs to Mena.

Nicki, only 16 days to go.

Vicki, O my what a babe. Can I have him when Theresa is done?
Don't know whats up with the little one but he will be in my prayers.

Lynn, I go to Curves too. Today will be day 3 since my ill fated vacation adventure. I'm achey but feeling much good. Well except for this dang sore throat and achey back.

Ok...here it goes...I took a few notes and I'm on my lunch break so I wanted to write to you all.
(all that I could anyway...please forgive me if I leave anyone out)
NS...thanks for the Trenton info...praying my heart out and it just made my day...to believe he is alive and well is so wonderful. I watched the news conference...WHY oh WHY didn't this women come forward earlier!!!
Lynn...I think that Nathaniel's strep was stress induced...seriously...that poor guy got so sick every time I went for chemo! I loved the "sons" email...so cute and true.
Cheryl...oh the map is wonderful...it makes us look like we are so close to each other!
Christine...I think Theresa will share...after she's done with him.
Amy...What a little zoo you have. Batten down the hatches honey...can't have you blown to Oz.
Theresa...I have been eating all morning! Raisin Bran for breakfast then buffalo chicken pizza at 10...now rigatoni for lunch...I just can't seem to get filled up. No chocolate yet today though...I think I'm due.
Nicki...My "no smoking bud"...how is it going...only had a couple of slip ups yesterday and I'm doing ok today. It helps if I'm really busy and my mood certainly plays a role too.
Jeannette...I am more than ready to pack up and become a beach bum for the winter.
MB...10,000 steps a day! Are you trying to kill us LOL! Ok...I'll try it but I may have to crawl to bed tonight.
Shirley...rest rest rest...drink drink drink...we can't have you sick too. Glad your doctor finally listened and called you back with the prescription...I thought I was going to have to call him and yell for you.
Thanks Kari for the message from Mena.
Silvergirl...where are you? When is that baby due...coming right up if I remember right.
    ok...times up...back to work...
    Hugs all around

    Afternoon girls,

It’s cold and very windy here today. We lucked out and didn’t have any power outages here but south of us have a lot. I do hope they get those people’s power up and running soon.

Colleen, I need to hit the exercise tent. A Nordic Trak sounds great. I’ll add the treadmill as my mom never uses hers. Actually, she would but I’ve forbidden her to get on it if she’s there alone. Since it’s so cold, guess I’ll be heading over there to do my walking.

Kristin, #3AC was my worst. Just remember that you’re getting close to the finish line. I admire all of you that have small children. You’ll be here for a very long time for you kids because of your fighting now.

Laura, love the pic of the car. Any news yet?

Cheryl, I played with bravenet last night. So glad you figured it out. I posted myself. Thanks for all the hard work. Glad you didn’t get sick from the anesthesia. I’ve done that myself. It always makes you feel so much worse.

Kari Lynn thanks for the message from Mena. I’ve missed her and hope she’s doing okay.

Nicki, I’m so proud of you. I don’t exercise everyday which I know I should.

Tracey, hope you’re feeling better today.

Vickie, oh wow! Great pics. He is in such great shape.

NS, what a wonderful thought that little Trenton is still alive. I do pray he is. Wish Nancy Grace would give it a rest. Doesn’t she get it? They hate her.

Lynn, hope the weather stays with just rain. I don’t think I’d last long in Canada with the weather there. I’m such a wimp when it comes to cold.

Amy, wow! What a nice animal family you have.

MB, I need to live closer to you. I could use a personal trainer/motivator. I know 10,000 steps is the goal. Today I’ve done maybe 20? LOL Okay, I’ll do better tomorrow.

Sher, sorry you’re feeling bad. I woke up today with a backache and feeling achy also. Hope it’s just the weather. Yep, I am sitting today. Haven’t done a blasted thing and don’t intend to. I’m not even going out today. Today is a “me” day. Think I’ll stow away for the cruise. It sounds like so much fun and relaxing. Hope the Effexor helps, I know my Lexapro does. Grrrrr on the docs not calling you back.
Okay, I’ve missed many again. Prayers for all.

    Hugs

    Afternoon Ladies!

Cheryl - very cool, posted my little self on the map - thanks

Nicki - man! now I HAVE to drag my sorry butt to the cardio machine before my son gets home from school (but did nordic trak again yesterday, so I think that's 2 days this week!)

NS - Wow, very encouraging news about Trenton. I remember that story from the news last month, but then didn't hear too much else about it.

Jeannette - you are too good - I have a hard time reading and retaining the posts since my last login! (OK, well not reading, but definitely retaining. scroll, scroll, scroll she goes!)

    Wow Amy- mucho critters indeed!

MB - was trying to do 10,000 steps a day right at the end of radiation per my PT. At one point I said, "so I should just walk around pointlessly to reach that number of steps?" (Duh!) She kept a straight face when she said, "it's the steps that matter, you don't need to actually have a destination"

Liz - I think a treadmill is a great addition. Perhaps one of those bicycle pedal things (without the seat) too! And a juice bar!! LOL

OK, don't want to time out. Enjoy the rest of the day. I guess I'm off to the gym...

BTW The blues are lifting a bit for me, hope the same is true for everyone else. Deb? How are you doing?

So sorry about your sister...very tragic.

    lizws -
No news yet. Thanks for asking. Everytime my phone rings, I jump 10ft off my chair. God I hate this.

    purplemb -
    I would take a vintage/old car over a new one anyday! A hearse...hmmmmm that's different (unique)!

    Wow-
You ladies are BUSY! I don’t have the time to even begin to reply to all the posts…my memory stinks!

I am climbing out of my blue mood....thanks for everyone who asked. I have found if I just get my butt in gear and do something, anything really, I feel better. I am trying to find the level of activity that keeps me busy without wearing me out too bad. I think I am starting to get a bit more energy, which is nice.

Our weather has been more like mid January than mid November. We have had air temperatures of about 5 to 10 degrees above during the day and 5 to 10 degrees below zero at night. If that were not bad enough, we have had winds up to 45 MPH. I don’t even want to know what that makes the wind chill. The only saving grace is when it is this cold we have really sunny blue skies. The sun is nice. I tried to take my dog for a walk yesterday and could only stay outside a few minutes. It was just too bitter cold. I think I will stick to the treadmill for a while.

So, I’m off to the “no more blues tent”…love the makeover by the way. And then maybe I will hit the exercise tent ***insert shocked looks here!***
I have a few numbers to call for yoga classes. Do I get credit for exercise if I just make the calls?? LOL

Hug and Prayers to all (especially little Trenton today…may God be with him)

Dropping in for a quick afternoon hello. Get all your wagons ready because I have a bone scan tomorrow so might need a little support. This will be the first scan since the return. I also have a oncology visit and treatment tomorrow so wont have my normal check in time of about 10ish. Ok ladies saddle up its going to be a cold wet ride but we are tough and can handle it.

Amy...all saddled up and ready to go. We will be with you all the way. Have lots of rain gear, umbrellas, the chocolate fountain (we'll have NS bring an extra since we have so many girls now), hot chocolate, bagels of all kinds (and some fruit for dipping in the chocolate fountain so we can claim we are eating "good" food. Don't worry...all will be better...praying for it to be so.
Deb...how are the Christmas card exchange lists coming? Hope that we have lots of sign ups!
Gonna go watch CNN and Nancy Grace (as much as I don't want to see her I want to see what she has to say about Trenton tonight)and call my daughter to see what's up.
    Love ya all
    Be back later
    Vickie

Holy Hot Tamales! I can believe what chatter boxes we were today. I dont have much time this evening, but wanted to sneak in to say hello.

Vickie: This is wonderful news. It would be a miracle. And to find him right around the Holidays. Yes, truelly a miracle.

LauraGTO: I hope you get the results soon. We have you tucked in the middle of the circle.

Amy: Oh my - big day tomorrow. I will have to get Distored Humor saddled up early. I can bring mazer the tazer for you as a side kick.

DebC: Now I know why I dont live in Alaska. And who says there is Global Warming?

MB: I have heard that about 10,000 steps. Have to go get a pedometer. I might have one up on all of you - as Im walking in and out of Hospitals all day. Big hospitals, with Long hallways, and Parking lots that are Far away.

Cheryl: I cant get on, its keeps telling me Gateway error so add Chemosabi (Nicki) to Chicago.

To all my other dear friends. All I can say is Holy Hot Tamales - I'll catch up with you tomorrow.

Ok I can't remember where Chicago is on the map. My geogophy is as rusty as my spelling.

It's been very very windy and rainy here in Seattle again.
I spoild myself today. had a massage, then went and had legs & underarms waxed then pedicure & manicure and then did some retail therapy, Darn that all felt so good, but I spent way to much!

Got the horses all saddled up and ready to ride swift like the wind. (which has been about 60 to 90 mph here)

Laura I'm sorry you haven't got your results yet. Darn we just hate the waiting game.
I'm waiting too but for the word that my house will be refinanced.

The guest map is started to take shape! Thanks Cheryl G. I was having such a hard time getting it to work for me.

OK, so we don't get us two Cheryls mixed up you can use my nickname Cy or Cyt.

Hope everyone is dry & warm I'll put a few more logs on the fire with some of the great smelling pinecone that make such pretty colors in the fire, Blue, Green, purple added to the red orage of the fire it's so wonderful to watch
