I sort of figured it would be Niecy, she hadn't improved as much as the others and couldn't quite keep up at the level of the other dancers. And as Sue said she was very gracious about getting the 'boot' she said that she had lived her childhood dream learning to dance.
Let's get our guesses in, who do you think will win the mirror ball trophy? I would like to see Erin win but I really think it will be Nichol even with the drama from Monday night (crying during the recap of the week rehersals).

I admire Niecy for being so gracious. Class Act. I am betting the trophy will got to Nichol and Derek, mostly because of Derek's creativity and some credit to Nichol's abilities.

I think Nichole and Derek, also. The judges seemed totally enamored of the 2 of them! That can't hurt now, can it? I think Derek is FAB. I miss his sister Julieanne on the show this season.

I heard that Julieanne may be back next year since her acting career isn't going as planned.

I think Derek is like the energizer bunny. Erin is doing the Vienze (sp?) waltz - my favorite, but I think she should wear an actual dress.

I think Chad should go tonight as well. He has made great improvement, but he just isn't in the same class as Erin, Evan and Nichole. I have been a Nichole fan, but I have to say - Evan's passo blew me away last night. {Edited for typos because my keyboard is lousy)

I missed the ballroom dances last night but saw the latin dances. They were all awesome. Erin is doing so good, I too think that tonight is Chad's night to go home. What's up with bringing Kate back on the show on special assignment?

Sheila, I think all the contestants might be comng back for the finale. I also heard mention that Jake the bachelor will also dance.
I am sooooooooo looking forward to seeing Kate "dance" (if that's what you call it) again.

I know they all come back to dance in the finale but I thought she was coming back in a 'co-host' position.

I know Kate is acting as special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. I thought she and Tony were doing a dance either this week or next.

Anne, I remember now it was the special correspondent on ET. I thought that once she was off DWS I wouldn't be seeing her much, I don't have TLC, only basic cable.

Great show last night. I couldn't watch the entire show tonight but did see Chad and Cheryl being voted off. Wow, can't belive next week is the finals already.

I also thought Chad was very gracious when he got the boot. What a handsome man he is. Both he and Cheryl were supposed to be on Jommy Kimmel last night but it was way past my bedtime and I didn't see it.
It should be very interesting next week to see who wins.
I loved the little stories and flashbacks that they did in regard to the professional dancers on the show. I didn't realize Derek had a ton of sisters. They are all gorgeous. (even Derek!) And the college teams showing their stuff......the team from Utah was outstanding.

If anyone also watched Entertainment Tonight, did I hear right that Chad and Cheryl are indeed an item but they don't want to say anything specific until after his "dating" show (ala Bret Michaels and Ray Jay or is it the bachelor?)? If I were Cheryl, I would respectfully suggest that a "dating" show really wasn't necessary.

I missed ET last night. Anne, if what you heard was correct I would also tell Chad to forgo the 'dating reality' show. It seems like every season there are a couple of 'romances' between the professional dancers and the celebrities they are coaching.
A loved the college dance teams strutting their stuff, we need more like that, get the kids in the spotlight more. The one team that had been formed in the past 6 months (brain fog on who it was) was good, considering their lack of 'experience' on the dance floor.

Sheila, I am so ready to watch the show with you. It is only one hour tonight.
Kate making that kind of money is making me puke. I read the link that you sent and might email the tv station. SHE was the big draw for people to watch????? gimme a break. She was such a joke. Boy, wish I could come up with some idea of how to make big bucks by being a jerk. I think she brought viewers because her estanged husband said she couldn't dance. YUP, he was right!

Evan is a nice guy but I wasn't impressed with his free-style dance. It just looked like a mish-mash of different steps, it didn't seem to flow well. Erin and Max dance was lovely, very romatic. Nicole and Derick looked great, like Lenn said, he saw quite a few different ballroom dance steps and it was full of energy, even though they missed the last lift. I am predicting Erin and Nicole as the final two.

Hi Ladies. Computer problems kept me away from here but I've been watching the show. I have to admit the free style was very disappointing this season. The other seasons have all been so much fun to watch but tonight did not impress me at all. I didn't get Erin and Max's dance at all and Evan's dance felt disjointed. It's going to cost him the trophy. Tonight should be good! I too think it will between Erin and Nicole. Wow, I think this is the first time it's between two ladies. See you then!!!

I wonder if Evan had let Anna do the choreography the way she wanted, if their dance might have been better. It seems that he took over.

Evan: doesn't deserve to win. 1) he can not do Latin dances well; 2) poor final dances.
Nicole: deserve to win. A complete dancer in all styles although the free dance was not all that memorable. Wish Derek hasn't made those two obvious mistakes, first lift her off the floor at the end of the rumba, then had trouble lifting her up at the end of the free.
Erin: has a real chance to win. Most improved dancer of the session. It took gut to do that free dance routine in comtempary style which is new and refreshing. Big risk but they did it. I applaud to them.
What's with Anna? Can't imaging Cheryl Burke sitting there sabbing before the final.

Yay!! Do think the best team won--especially after their "Rollin' on the River" dance--thought that was spectacular! Thanks to all who answered all my many questions about the show early on in the season....not sure I've become a die-hard fan, but will check it out again next season. Thanks!!!

I have to admit that I missed the show and had to watch on my computer. Felt bad when Erin got the boot as I thought she was going to beat out Evan. They were all so good. I do think Derek and Nichole deserved the big win. Again, i think I threw up a little in my mouth when kate came back. She made a ton of money and I agree with her that nearly 90% of the people detest her. She did get plugs in for her new shows. I miss seeing her kids. I guess kate plus eight begins on June 6 and a twist of kate in the fall. I would like to see her kids but I question her mothering skills.Too self centered. I was disappointed the someone at ABC thought she was a big draw. I, personally, found her painful to watch. But to act like a fool for 1/2 million bucks, she is smarter than I thought.
