    Dear Users,

I am talking on behalf of my girlfriend who I suspect has breast cancer. Her name is Jovy Pantoja and she is just 21 years old.

The other day, i noticed that she had some swelling on her breast. It was on the upper portion of her right breast and also on the sides. I was not sure what it meant so i asked her if it hurts. She said it was painful. Also, she often complained about pain in her breasts for around 4 months now. She also has inverted nipples.

She has lost a lot of weight. I had not seen her for 3 months (she is studying back in Philippines. I am in Thailand). We decided to meet up for 20 days. When I received her in the airport, I noticed she had lost quite a lot of weight.

Other things that she often complains about is headache. She always compliains about a piercing kind of pain in her head for which she takes medicine quite often. She told me she has been experiencing it for around 7 years now. we are together for just 8 months. i suspected Tapeworm infection, which could explain her head ache and lumps (due to cysts) on her breast.

We are financially not sound and running a battery of test could be really expensive. I need some suggestions and help from people who have already know a lot about it. I am really concerned about her well being. She is young.. infact very young to be worried about breast cancer. Kindly help me understand her problem and suggest me methods to get relatively cheap treatment for her.

I am looking forward to your response.

     Thank you in advance.

    Aj

Marie- we grew up in the hot south with no AC- so I can relate to all the things that we thought were AC...riding in the back of the station wagon with the windows down....

I used to sit in from of my window at night when the attic fan was on to feel the air come through. fell asleep like that a few times...HMMMM maybe there's a theory in there somewhere..

Patoo- since you are winning....lets go now...zing us!!! LOL

Credit cards - that did it.  Touching that plastic so often, especially when you spend a day at the mall, how many times do you whip it out.  Sweat on your fingers interacting with the chemicals in the plastic...  Yeah, then the credit card bill(s) come in and the stress gets your breast cells all upset and they morph and voila!

So, not only do we get bc but we can't even pay for superior care because we maxed out our credit cards.

Now there's the Patoo we all LOVE!!!! Yep I would be guilty on all "charges" on that one...but HEY does that mean that if we are still whipping those cards out we are risking recurrence????maybe I should be wearing rubber gloves when i flip open that wallet....oh what the heck....i guess i'll live on the edge a little from time to time!!

Nah, I thought of it so I'm immune so you all should just send me your credit cards.  Yeah, that sounds about right, yeah!

Hmm, looking at 2 of my plants and I know they have been dead for weeks although the are still green.  Maybe breathing in dead plant "fumes" gives bc?  My DS wonders why I even bother - he says I can kill silk flowers!

Hey Patoo- i think we are kindred spirits or something because I thought only I could kill silk flowers. So we don't have  green thumb....maybe there's a theory in that too....but you can NOT have my credit cards. (that would make me an enabler!!!) LOL AND i'd miss out on a lot of good shopping.

We've found it!  I also can kill silk flowers!

Maybe what we have here is not a CAUSE but - A NEW EARLY SCREENING TECHNIQUE!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure beats squeezing our boobs for mammos.

I second that vote!!! Maybe we can develop some kind of screening test, make millions and use those cresit cards all we want!!! Heck, if we make millions, we don't HAVE to use the credit cards and thus risk the chemical exposure...of course i've never had money so maybe if I finally got it it would be a sure fire risk for recurrence from some funky chemical reaction...or I'd just drop dead from shock.. Maybe some others will post here that they too can kill silk flowers and the race will be on for the first one to figure out the screening....We don't want to mash the thumb like our mamos, maybe instead of rolling it in ink we roll it in potting soil and check for a reaction...

    Have a great day ladies!!

I have also killed silk flowers.   My parents move to Cape Cod for the summer and several years ago I offered to water the plants in my parents house while they were gone for 4 months.  When my Mom came back she was so happy that her plants were doing great.  She was laughing her butt off as she told me that I also watered her one silk plant, for 4 months.  The pot with the fake soil in it was moldy and rotting.  BTW, my Mom runs the garden club in her town.  Apparently she has the green thumb, not me.

The banana combs that I have worn in my hair is what caused me to have bc.

yeah- had to pull out half your hair in order to get those stinking rubber bands out!!!! Plus it gave you one heck of a headache....HEY maybe that's why it feels like you've been wearing a ponytail too long when you hair falls out!!! COULD IT BE A CLUE???????

what about scratch and sniff stickers?  have we mentioned those yet?  I used to scratch and smell in my room for hours.  Then they came up with gross ones that smelled like rotting fish and garbage pails etc.  Way too many hours scratching whatever chemical off those darn stickers.

Wearing catholic school uniforms, the kind with the pleated shirt and the attached top part that covered our undeveloped breasts.  Can't be good for you.
