Let's see, root canal at 18. bc at 57. Talk about delayed reaction!

Or maybe I'm a late bloomer.

Never had a root canal but my husband did a couple weeks ago.  Does that count?

Sure it counts, Makraz. I'm on tamox but my dh has leg cramps. Another form of sympathy pains.

This is great. I love it. Maybe it was the stress of being the oldest child-or middle or youngest, whichever

I think it was all that white bread I ate before I realized that the brown, whole grain stuff really does taste good.  Of course, living next to a nuclear plant and a toxic waste site probably doesn't help.

I still say it was from stuffing my bra when I was a kid. And come to think about, Tongue outas an adult as well!!!.  The only difference is when I was a kid I used kleenex.

Well.....my crazy husband thinks it's because there are three evil spirits that got into our neighborhood, and three houses in a row got hit with cancer.....sheeesh....!

If it wasn't the same type of cancer, maybe it wasn't the same type of evil spirits.

Actually I had root canal within a year of dx but since I'm ILC the tumor was there several years before root canal.  I still say it's housework!  Or, maybe lack of doing housework and I breathed in all the dust bunnies?

Thanks everyone for the laughs and getting me thinking . . . hmm . . .  I can't decide if it was the Cuyahoga River catching fire, the Mad Dog 20/20, or the all the rain water I lapped up with my big bell bottom jeans.

I think it was from pouring out my sister's clear nail polish, & filling it up with water.   And wearing her blue eye shadow!!!!  Or maybe it was when I used her red hair dye, on her white husky.  I read all the instructions before the dye job. I even did a test patch first.  Hey, give me a break, I was only 6 years old at the time.  The doggy loved it.   My behind hurt for a week.

You could read directions at SIX!  Hey, you're too smart to have gotten bc.  At least that's the impression (being dumb) the media and some researchers would like some of us to believe.

I love the picture of you dying the dog!  LOL

YMB it must have been the spanking you got. In fact lets do a survey. How many people were spanked as a child?  I bet we can make a correlation. "Spanking connected to breast cancer later in life"

After due consideration, I have come to the conclusion it was the weird cravings during pregnancy! I mean our hormones are all over the place and then we do things like....like.....drinking the vinegar out of the pickled onion jar, well don't we..............................?

I'm not joking, YMB.  They built the nuclear plant after we bought our home.  And the one Occidental Plant is now a Superfund site.  Didn't mention the landfill that is now closed and the methane gas.  This area has high incidence of cancer but no one wants to push the panic button.  All kinds of governmental agencies have been here but their findings say we are within normal range.  If I remember correctly, they said that about Love Canal too.  Anyway, officially now I'm a statistic.

I guess I'm a statistic, too.  A victim of Eeeevil Spirits!  Three houses in a row, three types of cancer, skin, boob, throat.  But it will all be okay because my DH has put tiny little bottles of salt hanging in front of each window and door, so they can't get in anymore.  Whew!

Maybe not just the wax containers..but the fact that sometime you just couldn't quite get the spout on the little cartons to open right....maybe you had to get it just right...

I actully have had spam and powdered milk...HMMMMM

Maybe when i was rolling in that pile of freshly raked leaves I picked up a BC bug...

Rolling in the leaves brings back memories!!!! So does Spam! We just recently had spam and eggs.

There was talk of blue eye shadow, but what about green eyeshadow? After my mom died form Ovarian Cancer, I used her green eyeshadow. I had just turned 10 and thought I was old enough. Oha nd false eye lashes, at 4 I put my aunties false eyelashes on and went out in public and got compliments.

OMG had completely forgotten about musk oil. Absolutely loved it...can you even buy it anymore? Used to dab it between the girls...surely that caused issues!

Patoo- You got it. Between the eyeliner brush and the accidental poke with the mascara that has to be it.
