Hi all. Good to see that everyone seems to be okay. I am winding up my radiation with 8/9 being my last day. I have 3 more boosts to go!! I am still doing a clinical trial of Avastin every 3 weeks and I have about 7 more doses, so more treatment for me after rads, but I can definitely say that I fought this beast with everything and gave my all!! Blessings to all....

Amidoneyet - how are you feeling now that rads have been completed?
Indominable and ILinda - chime in and let us know how you are doing when you get a chance.
Blessings.

Hi Village, welcome to the club that we were not given a choice to join. You will find lots of support here that you won't really be able to duplicate anywhere else. This thread is not always active as we get tons of information from the other threads but do come occasionally and let us know how you are doing.
Meanwhile, I urge you to check out the "Chemo" threads, and I believe there is also another triple-neg thread too (you can see I'm here but I'm not TN; just somehow only post on this AA thread). You will get loads of support and information on those other threads and will make many cyberfriends.
Good luck and if you ever feel the need, you can also PM me (click on my screen name or the 'private message' link in upper right).
HUGS

Fighter_34 - YES - you have the right name! Welcome into this club that no-one applied to join. We come here, to this thread, occasionally but the other threads are much more active so please read/post on them as well as you will find amazing support from the sisters who have gone and are going through. Yes, you may lose your hair but it's much better than losing your life. Think of all the cute wigs you can model!
Here's also a link you might like to checkout as well: http://www.sistersnetworkinc.org/index.html
You are limited to only 5 posts a day until you reach 50 but feel free to PM (private message by clicking on any member's name) which are unlimited in case you need quick information.
HUGS.

Hello Ladies. So glad to hear that all the ol'timers are doing well. Village, Fighter-sorry you are in the club but know that you are not alone and will be supported.
And it's true, Patoo keeps us lifted in prayer.
And Village, please make sure you have looked at the Calling all TNs and the chemo discussion threads (especially preparing for chemo) which are very informative. I did TAC x 6 and rads. PM me with any questions. I'll start checking in more frequently.
All is well here. Have repeat scans in October in anticipation of one year post chemo (which is when my onc counts my first year out.)
God Bless! His grace is sufficient.

Hi everyone. I've been MIA for a month but still thinking of you all.

Hello!
I pray everyone had a peaceful and joyous celebration of the birth of our Savior! We had a wonderful quiet Christmas with immediate family (and food). Will meet the rest of the relatives for New Year's celebration.
Patoo-is it true that you went on another mission trip? Where? was it for the whole month? You look great in your new picture.
Linda-miss hearing from you!
I pray health and peace for all. Hopefully, those of you in the mid-atlantic and north are not too snowed under. 2 words for you-snow blower!
God Bless!

Indomitable1 - if I get a snow blower, how will I get my exercise in the winter? Looks like it won't be until 2012 when I join you in FL, although it's been a little nippy down there lately. (still better than 18 inches of snow with 3-4 foot drifts to shovel out from under!)
Yes, I was on missions trip to Nicaragua in November but it was only 9 days.
Praying for a safe and healthy 2011 for you all.

Anybody going to the Sisters Annual Convention in May? I met Karen Jackson, the founder, at the C4YW. What a dynamo! In addition, they are having a doctor from Jefferson, Dr. Edith Mitchell, present on TNBC and life after BC dx. Great conference by the way!

Are you going? Aside from church and family gatherings I really don't do conventions. I'm not a "group" kind of person - guess it's the introvert in me. If you are going, enjoy!

Thanks MSPhil! Congrats on your cancer free status!
Patoo-you're kidding! You are no introvert on here! There is so much that I learned at the C4YW conference and there was something so inspiring about seeing ALL the Survivors-up to 26 years out! And that was of women diagnosed as YOUNG women. So, I am expecting the Sisters Annual African American Breast Cancer Conference to be awesome. They are even having a gospel brunch.
God Bless Everyone & Special Prayers lifted for iLinda!

Hi Indomitable1 - yes, I am very much the introvert. It is super easy to "appear" extroverted when behind a computer screen and keyboard. Life of the party - yeah, right! Actually there is a thread somewhere on BCo for introverts.
So, I'm sure the Sisters conference will be awesome for those who enjoy that interaction. I know several sisters from the local NJ chapter who will be there so have fun and enjoy the gospel brunch for me.

Hey Ladies!
Linda-so good to see you back on the boards! How are you doing? You have been in my prayers.
Rogam-I met Dr. Sullivan at the Young Survivor's Conference and he was awesome. There were a group of us who had dinner with him. Those who had already had surgery had only wonderful things to say about the group. I just don't feel ready yet. I, too, will keep you lifted in prayer. Congrats on your 3 year survivor status. You go Girl!
Patoo-Hope you are well. Heading to Baton Rouge next week for the Sisters Convention. Looking forward to it They were really generous with scholarship funds. It should be awesome.
Had my 2 year (post diagnosis, not treatment) checks last 2 weeks. Praise God!
God bless you all with continued peace and health.
