Wow, beautiful Sahalie you are good at that game.  Don't you feel a relief when the cupboard and ice box are stocked and you don't have to do it again for awhile?

Julz, tears are flowing for you and your family, prayers are also.  I hate to see young people going through this stuff. (or anyone for that matter) but it seems very personal with you, my sweet julz

Foots, did you ever get the help you needed?

Saint, Do we get before and after pictures like trading spaces then we get to vote!

Shrink, your outfit sounded perfect.  I wanna come in spirit too, when you feel those angel kisses on your cheek like a breath of fresh air it will be your beach friends

Heymoose, Wings, Biker, Faith, Sige and everyone else I missed I love you guys and will be back on later tonight.

Good Morning!! My laptop is all amuck...... on DH's, so I don't have to go bold to start. LOL.

Love the moon being placed into the heavens, Spar.

Sahalie, I knew you'd come up with some b.e.a.c.h. doozies!! Didn't you just love Celia's entry?

B.E.A.C.H. = Beyond Earth All Can Heal

Last night we had a girl's night out at the Drive-in Movie. YES. Just like you remember. We pulled in our pickup truck and then were entertained by teen agers playing volleyball, youngsters on the slide, everyone setting up camp for the movie in their chairs and blankets..... we had such a good time. Kinda like the pre-slumber party heart-to-hearts I remember from junior high.

The only thing left on our list is minature golfing -- which is done with enthusiasm here, too.

Julz, praying for your Sara as I begin the day..... and Spar's aunt, and Saint as she waits for results and Footie as she battles the windmills that make for frustrations...... those are the prayers at the top of my list this morning.

Shrink, I just love hearing about your ensemble!! Sounds like you've found something fantastic. You're gonna need to have a mighty big table available for all of us beachettes to add to your celebration. Get our name cards ready!!

Lisa, I can't remember if you've gotten back to your west coast sights or if you're still out east?? Travel mercies upon you.

Spar, does your daughter have a store? I missed that concept, if you'd told us that before. Sounds like more fun projects up your sleeve.

Footie, you've really had some "clunkers" in the bedside manner and support department. I so wish that everyone in the health care industry was able to express their care for our health in a supportive and professional manner. Hugs sweetie. Squeeze those lemons.

Sige, I think it's about time for you to swing thru with eye popping pictures.... I hadn't realized that you were Canadian. That makes us a genuinely international beach!! Love that concept.

Jasmine, are you still reading back? It's been a big week here, hasn't it? I want to see your watercolor efforts.

Sahalie, thanks for the hug. I'm a BIG hugger and will accept them whenever they're sent.

Celia, what amazing inspiring images will you conjure up on your beach walk today? I wonder if you realize how much your 'finds' mean to me?

Saint, what's your good Father have to teach us today? I appreciate getting to know him thru your insights.

Margo, are you dancing around on one foot, starting to hop -- your departure is nearly at hand!

Janny, are you out on the big bikes with WingGirl? She's heading to the MI picnic to meet up with nEEsie as I type. We really do need to get our beach pals together.

HeyMoose I think you're still out on campus somewhere.... hope that you're having a lovely weekend.

I need to make a list..... just hate the thought of leaving someone out...... A to Z and back again.

This week is our juggling act with airports. Noelle needs to return to Maryland. DH's uncle is arriving to fish the big waters here..... so they will pass each other in the skies. Later in the week I will be flying home to OH to do a presentation in Cincy to start their school year...... I need to get that act organized -- in my putzy computer. Will be waving to the waves periodically.

hugs and squeezes all around the beach....... sunscreen reminder, it's still summer!!

Lisa, you have figured out the secret of the beach......if you have the beach in your heart, you find the beach in everything, everywhere....

I think these Buddhist monks who are working on a sand painting would probably agree with that....

i watched some Buddhist monks create a sandpainting in a public library in a neighboring city. They worked on the sandpainting for several days with an audience watching. When they were done, they smooshed it all up, gathered up the sand and were ready to start another one. Makes you think about the idea of the "preciousness" of art--or the lack of preciousness, impermanence, beauty that is fleeting.

faith, you sound like you are having so much fun with family. thank you for what you said to me. i appreciate that a lot. i love finding the works of imagination.

saint, good luck with the tests on monday. i am going to the bigger military hospital on monday for the breast watch clinic i attend. My mammo was clear. I hope we are both successful on monday. i will be thinking of you.

sahalie, you are such a social butterfly!! i am glad you have so many friends and relatives around you. When i moved to the pacific northwest, i got cut-off from all my friends in the Bay Area.

spar, i am glad to hear that your aunt is eating better. i will PM you soonish with my favorite veggie and bean burger recipe.....i'm drooling just thinking about them. i loved the stars and sky pics.

shrink, wow that reception and the cruise sound wonderful!!

julz, i will keep your Sara and your son in my prayers. Sara is just too young for such things. i love the quote about being calm in your heart.

    jasmine, those pics were lovely.

footie, i hope you are successful in getting more help for yourself. I wish that ramp was already built for your use.

wings, margo, bikerjan, sige, and all, have a great day!!

We've had such a great day of fun. Started with a few clouds, but the winds blew it all away and we had an incredible hike through a brand new sculpture garden -- set back in the pines. Just gorgous. From very contemporary pieces, to very traditional.... at a gallery that's been here forever!! I just love that they've added something sooooooo gorgous.

Spent a lovely afternoon with an artist who's work I greatly admire. Noelle says his work reminds her of Kandinsky.  I agree. Only even brighter..... and happier in it's delivery. It's born out of the grieving process of the passing of his daughter at the age of 10 -- in open heart surgery. It was a fascinating conversation.

I thought of how our beach here has brought healing thru our collective art. Thanks to all who "contribute" and weave our tapestry even tighter.

    Sleep well my bunnies.

Good evening Beach Angels.  Its been a busy weekend for me.  Lots of new stuff to learn for a special project.

Spar -- yes, I watched BB tonight and I've been watching the feeds all day today while I worked.  You need to check in tomorrow after the veto ceremony because stuff is going to hit a big fan there.  Either way Dan goes...keep the deal, break the deal....there's going to be a bunch of people upset.

Sahalie -- I'm not ready to show any watercolors yet but thanks for asking.  I need a lot more practice.  I've been using an online tutorial site I found but I didn't get to do anything this weekend.

Faith -- I haven't forgotten about the blessing scarf ribbons.

    Julz -- hugs to you

Hugs to Celia, Saint, Lisa, Sige, Wings, Biker, Mr and Mrs Shrink, Margo and anyone else my poor brain can't remember right now.

    Hey Beachie kids!

Trying my best to catch up here, but not much time these days. Minus linens the home re-do is almost complete (are we EVER really done?)  We thought too late to take b4 & after pix! would have been fun.....now for the 100's of yards of carpet.....

Thank you for the encouraging words while I wait for scan results-----if nothing else I have had LOTS of practice waiting & it no longer seems to bother me. It will be what it is & I have peace with that acceptance.Besides-I have been TOO busy to think about it! LOLOL

F&F my special friend----Father's short, sweet message today--some ppl make things happen, some ppl watch things happen & some ppl ask--what happened? I lit the candle I keep burning 24/7 for us all---Julz, Spar, Footie, & A-Z----your concerns & those of your loved ones are mine as well----prayers & hugs.

Hi grls, hope everyone is well.  I've gotten too far behind again so didn't really read.  Spar, loved the lighthouse for Wings.  Maui is just around the corner if I don't delay it a few weeks, I'll know more in the next day or two.  I do need a vacation tho so we'll see.

I'll try to check back more often.

Goodmorning all, woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep so got up ate a bowl of rice and came to see if anything was happening on the beach.  I was pleasantly surprised to see all the wonderful post.

Celia, I loved all your star pictures

Sahalie and Jaz, it was me that ask to see your water colors, sorry, didn't realize it was taboo.  I am so different, if I make something and its pretty I want to show the world.  Love the painting above listening is a gift to a friend.

I don't understand about the scarf ribbons are we suppose to be making a new one.  The one around Saints neck was beautiful.

Saint, what color did you do your room?  Is it dramatic or calm?

Hope all has a good day.
