    Goodmorning beach friends.

Sahalie, love that coconut on the beach, it looks so fresh inside and I wanna eat it.

Julz of  the beach, if your find any more porches post em for me.  We are not sure exactly what kind of porch we are building on yet except it will be the whole length of the house.  Need walkway and garden suggestions also.

Celia, I fnished up my heart last night and added the sea glass like you suggested and that made it. Will take a picture later and post it.

Jaz, have a great day and I will come back later to catch the surprise song of the day

If the men working on leveling the house today don't need us to be here we are going to the city to finally celebrate our sept 3 anniversary, then when we get home my daughter is coming to see the house for the first time.  So it  may be a while before I get back on today.

Faith, do you have your mind set on the mountain background yet?

Heymoose, let us hear from you

Sige, keep the beach active and post some weird ones

Saint, did you go through photobucket from picaso?

    wings, loved the beach light

biker, anymore trips planned or just cleaning out the rv for later

I love you all and have a great day.

Good Morning All from the scorching end of Sand Dune St.

Julz.  Yum.  And Jazz will love the bunny on the water glass!

No fog this morning.  :  (

101 here yesterday.  Again today calls for a repeat.

I just watered the wazoo out of the front and back yards.

I always think of pets who may be left outside in this heat with little or no water and I

    get very upset.

My water bill will be to the moon the next couple months but I don't give a fig cuz I need

    my greeness.

Spar.  Your creation of the heart with glass is beautiful!   It turned out so pretty.

I make wreaths each winter after all the leaves drop from our grape vines and my

    wisteria vines.

Did you guys know you can work and weave wisteria vines into the prettiest

wreaths as they are usually narrower vines than grapes.

I make them all sizes from on the door size to small petite wreaths.

This year I will borrow Spar's idea of adding glass.

Did you use florists wire to attach the glass to the vines or glue gun?

I just had a light bulb moment!  Hah.

I'm going to bring home as many beach treasures of the small kind from our trip t

hat I possibly can and incorporate them into my gifts of home-made whatever.

The humming birds are humming and the waves are waving so off I go.

    Have a great one.

    I Love this picture.

    Julz,

We sell some very expensive clothes, and shoes, too.  Upstairs, they sell lots of Home Decor items, also kind of pricey.  They just got in some Christmas decorations!  Also, there is a kitchen, with some samples of a garlic herb dip, some spreads to go on cream cheese, a pie mix that is quite good, and some nuts, sea salt peanuts, jalapeno peanuts, and a fancy Chesapeake Bay spice trail mix.

You can play anything except Country music!  Our party has started, and we are just sitting here watching TV, and waiting for the storm.  It is sunny, but we have had some rain and some wind, but it isn't really expected to get going strong til late tonight/early tomorrow morning.

    Hi spar!!

    Take care, my friends!

sige, i love your mysterious looking finds.

lisa, i love all your vacation pictures and collages. I hope you had a splendid time!

jan, good to see you after your vacation.  it's hard to go back to work after vaca!

thank you everyone for compliments on my heart with glass.  I did use a glue gun.

Sahalie, I may take up your idea of making a wreath with our grape vines.  This is our first year to grow grapes so all we know is what we learned on the internet.  Do you just cut off the vines and they come back next year?  To add beach finds would make them really special.

Celia, those are some really strange finds, I like the fingers but that face creeps me out.  My dauhter and grandkids are on the way to see the new house so gotta go and meet ya on the beach later. Hugs to all

Spar.  They are really easy to make.  Free which is a happy part.

    Family & friends love them.

Since it's your first year to grow grapes check your areas suggestions for pruning your vines

so they don't go into shock etc.

Are they new little snippets or established vines already in progress?

If so find out how to prune them (in case you don't know the in's & out's yet).

Prune first thing in the morning when they are most ply-able.

Start with the first one tucking the end under the size circle you want

and weave in and out with as many vines as you want thickness.

I use a glue gun to add seasonal things such as leaves. craft store finds or some I

leave plain and just use a wide ribbon for decoration.

I have one on my door now with Fall colored leaves on it.

Christmas I have one with holly berries on it and a big fat ribbon.

You can buy them but home made is a zillion times better.

They have a look to them "made with love"

To make the wisteria wreaths just wait till everything is off the vines then cut long vines.

    All sizes.

    Same with grape vines.

I make tiny ones that fit over a door knob just for fun.  Or for on the Christmas tree.

You could make small ones and put the name of your kids and grands on each for

    an ornament for them.

Spar.  With your creative imagination you'll have so much fun with these.

    It's all fun.

    Sahalie, I love your wreath!!!

Spar, I am deathly afraid of tornadoes.  Living in PA, I have no idea why.  I am always looking for the funnel cloud when we have a bad storm.  Hurricane Hannah is expected to hit here tomorrow night, so I tied the deck furniture to the deck supports.  It has taken flight in the past.  I love how your heart turned out.  Good job!

Hey there Celia!  I love those sand sculptures you posted.  Really, really interesting.

Yes all, I finished cleaning out the RV today.  The trips are done for the season.  We only need to winterize it and put the cover on.  I guess summer is officially over.  Well, every where but here, lol!

Hi to Faith, Foots, SoCal, Julz, Harley (got a couple of those), Shrink, Jasmine, Wings and anyone else I missed.  Have a great weekend!

Since everyone's been sharing their arts and crafts projects, I thought that I'd take a picture for you of the set of stools I painted years ago. It's always been one of my 'favorite' projects. When we sold our 'big' house, we brought them up here. We sit on them at every meal. We were thinking today that I painted them over a dozen years ago.

Wings, if you look closely you'll see a lighthouse on the rug below.

Wow, Faith, wonderful imaginative stools.  Love them. Thanks for sharing your crafts

Sahalie, dh said no grapevines for me but my mom has lots of wisteria out on her 20 acres so I can get that there and to make a christmas tree with home made wreaths would be right up my alley.  I love that wreath you posted with the letters and stuff on it.  Thanks for giving me the idea.

Julz of the beach, celebrate goodtimes un hu.

Today is the first day daughter has seen the house and she loved it, there is so much storage but it will still be awhile probably at least a month before we can move in.  Maybe longer.  Was hopeing to have a big thanksgiving bash because my son and grandson are coming in from Maryland.

Biker do you guys not do any fall camping?  That is my favorite time to camp but then we use a tent so no air conditioning,  Just can't take the heat anymore.  It is only in the 80's here today but it is so humid and mosquitoes are flourishing.  I hate them.

Foots, how are ya?  better hopefully.

Hi, hugs, and love from A to Z

Hey Beachie Kids! I thought I had escaped the back-to-school-blues, but they sneaked up on me yesterday! So I made myself go out Thurs & filled today with plans---worked out ok & now it is the weekend!! ....Now I'm gonna try to respond to all the posts I just caught up on--but apologize in advance cuz I will never succeed in remembering everyone!!

Sahalie--Thanx-I love my "woofy-dog" he is pretty cute! I will NEVER understand how I ended up with him---I have always loved big dogs & shunned toy breeds--but he is my chemo-pal & light on dark days!

Spar- I do not have picaso--I was proud of just one pic at a time using photobucket!! You have no idea what an accomplishment that is for me! LOL.. LOVE your creation from sticks & stones!

Spar & Sahalie---did you know you can make small Christmas trees outta those vines? Start at the top & then keep wrapping down getting larger each wrap to create a cone-tree! You may want to use a bit of wire or string to anchor the layers from time to time! Then add the glass, shells or whatever--you can even put a small cool light bulb inside the cone to light up your tree.

Julz--TY! I love coconut & Kool & the gang! lololol

Harley--you will have to become our personal shopper & let us know the best deals when things go on sale---shopping-therapy anyone???  At least it leaves something to show for the $ !!

Biker---I grew up never fearing hurricanes-even when they sent us home from school early! But living in the mid-west terrifies me--TORNADOS??? All I can imagine is the witch in Wizard of Oz!!!!

Celia--your pix give "sand castle" new meaning!!!!

F&F--your abundance of talent never ceases to amaze me! I am in awe of you!

Sige--OMG! If that story is true I have to wonder why they cut the chair in half instead of just pouring ice water on his lap!!!!!!!  LOLOLOLOL

I need to go rest in my new bedroom that is about done except for carpet---you all be well & stay strong! HUGS

sige, is that a new picture of you, very pretty.

Good idea on making a cone shaped Christmas tree, I probably will try it all.

Everyone have a great evening, I have got to go rescue my DH, granddaughter is putting eyeshadow on his lips and lip gloss no telling where and smeared hand lotion in his hair.  Now he will really need a shampoo.

Night everyone.  Sleep good. Stay safe.

Lisa- I am turning blue waiting for more pix! LOLOL

Margo----open your suitcase! open your suitcase! it's crowded in here! Did you forget you took us along?>?? LOL

Shrink----more tales & pix of the romance please---tho you did NOT take us along we still want news.

Wings--I LOVE lighthouses too & would love to do a national tour of them just like some men tour baseball parks--wouldn't it be a great trip??

jas- I promise I will take pix of my amatuer painting to post by next week--enjoy your weekend!

Foots--hope you are doing well & will come play on the beach soon! I'll keep a candle burning for ya!

If I missed anyone else SORRY--blame my chemo adled brain!!!  HUGS--be well & stay strong
