Good morning to all the sun worshipers. This is a perfect day to come here to the beach and let our troubles wash away. It's such a relaxing atmosphere maybe the pretty colored drinks have something to do with that. I brought my beach towel and sunscreen and plan to hang around and just be a beach bum.

Liz - the wetsuit is TIGHT.  Thanks for asking. Tongue out

Susan - to say I'm a scuba diver might be a stretch.  I got certified in Sept, but this will be my first time to dive other than my certification.  And my cert was done on Beaver Lake in Arkansas, which is a lovely lake, but I'm sure the Keys will be a little clearer water Cool

Oh look!  Is that Matthew McConaughey walking toward me on the beach with a tropical drink?  I'll see you gals later - gotta go! Cool

Donna your scuba trip sounds wonderful.

Susan-hello there missy.  I didnt know you were a scuba diver also!  How long has it been since you went?

Liz-how dare you ask about a wetsuit.  Thats just mean!  :)

Hazelnut-being a beach bum sounds like fun today.

Jaz-thats a classic.  Thanks for posting.

Charlene-another day with the girls at home huh?  Hang in there, spring will be here before we know it.

No snow here but still a rainy dreary day.

hi beach bunnies!! i've made it safely thru the blustery snow & am checked into a lovely hotel in Chicago-land. need to go down the elevator and check out the beach scene..... hmmmmm. it's a bit brisk for splashing here today? will have to go cyber-beaching thru these images

i need you bunnies to say prayers for my daughter, pregnant with the twins. she went in this a.m. for her routine ultrasound and it looks like they may admit her to hosp for further testing, stress tests etc. she's freaking out that i'm so far away. they've determined that Baby A is now 3 pounds 3 ounces and Baby B is 2 pounds 7 ounces..... they're concered that B is 'not keeping up' .... i thought that seemed like good sizes for them (at 29 weeks.)

since i resigned as "general contractor of the universe" while genuinely walking beach-side last week, i've got to give all of this unknown to our angels to direct..... but appreciate your efforts to help keep me sane.

hazelnut: glad that you found us, the beach is open for all!

candie: i haven't been in chat a lot -- as i've been on the road so much

iris: i get to give the keynote tomorrow to start the day!! pretty thrilling.

amy: i'm with you in heart, re the shingles -- this too, will pass

    angel: keep those pics coming

scuba-bunnies: tell us all about it

marsha: where are you? i've been awaiting your updates.... have you been able to hold up thru the whole run?

nessie: hope your hobbling better these days

bunnies-at-large: sand castles to you & to you an umbrella drink

Only have a minute so thought I'd say welcome to Hazelnut - the beach is a great place to be.

Wish I had gone on the midnight stroll last night.  By the time I got back from my non-profit monthly meeting, I had missed American Idol (Char, tell me who got kicked off - haven't even had a chance to look yet) and was dead tired.  I woke up with a migraine, which I haven't had in quite a few years, and worse, had to go for my 6 am hair appointment.  Hopefully I will have time to relax with you all tonight.

I'll come back this weekend and say hello to everyone - time to go back to work for now - I should have plenty of time this weekend - it's supposed to storm/storm/storm like it did last month so I'll be home looking for rainbows.

     Okay everyone turn over ...

Hazel, that was just a delicious lunch, thank you!

Faith, I thought for sure Brad would bring Marsha running to the beach!  Your daughter is in my thoughts.  Her twins sound like the right size to me also?  I'm a twin and was born a few weeks early at 5 lbs 4 oz.  My twin was 6 lbs. 5oz.  Will be hoping for everything to work out fine.

Hi to all from the rainy coast,

Glad we got our walk in last night as it has been rainy today. I will not complain as we need the rain. Those of you in icy and snowy areas,be warm and stay safe.

I lost a long post right after the walk last night. If I repeat info, pls forgive.

Sahalie-great to see you here. Bora Bora sounds great!

Shrink-trip to Florida in Apr would be great. I think a trip anytime to FL sounds great.

Hazel-super to meet you! I think you will really like the beach walks and the genuine friendships here. Your food pic looked awesome. Hazelnut coffee flavor is one of my favorite flavors.

Candie-love Sleepytime tea and think of Peter Rabbit's mother giving him that to sleep. My fav is Celestial Seasonings. I began seashell collecting in the 60's as a teen. Glad to meet another collector. Your weather sounds crummy. Glad the virtual beach can take us to better areas.

Amy-hope the shingles are going to start the disappearance act-like now would be great. I know you have had a long week and am sorry for all the stress and pain. Glad you went on the walk and glad the pupsters came, too. Always glad to have another good,Southern friend. Thanks for all the kind words.

Jan-great to see you! I do not think that is a good enough deal to FL unless you add a few names. LOL. Guess whose names I was thinking of? Yep,all of the beach buddies from here. I like what you wrote abt the week. You are right abt moving on and having friends to help us along the way.

Going to not risk losing this.

Will finish on another post-no notepad here.

Angelcharlene-great pics! I am disappointed that Brad is not inviting all of us to a big weekend beach walk However,we will fix him, just have our great food and friends and he will just be missed-life is tough! Kidding,Brad,if you wish to come-that would be just great. Hope your weather soon decides to find some spring. I saw a lovely cardinal today. At first,I thought it was a red blur-love the cardinals as this male had that lovely scarlet color.

Neesie-thinking of you! Hope your PT sessions are helping the knee.

Liz-how are you? Hope that you do not get the crummy weather. Thanks for all you did finding the florist info and all the extra kindnesses for others.

Faithandfifty-thinking of your daughter and her twins. I know you must really enjoy the traveling and what an honor to be opening speaker-congratulations! If you ever travel in NC area, pls let me know as I would love to meet/hear you. Saying prayers for your daughter.

BMD-hope your week goes well. I am wondering if your area is getting the crazy weather.

Margo-great to see you! Hope your head is better as migraines are horribly annoying. Sorry to read of weather issues headed your way. You are such a great volunteer and know you do so much for others.

Donna-I remember when you were taking your scuba diving test. Congrats on the upcming trip to the Keys!

    Jasmine-neat songs!

Nicki-nice greeting for this awesome group, thanks.

Hope I did not skip anyone from the past day or so-not intentional. Pls forgive fruity BlackBerry for crowded posts. I love this thread and all you wonderful beach buddies! See you later for a stroll-hooded jacket.

    Have a great weekend!
    Iris

Faith, keynote speaker...way to go...prayers are coming your way for your daughter and the twins..they sound like a good weight to me...sometimes I think obstetricians get panicky in today's day and age.

    Hazel,thanks for the lunch

Candie-I was the same way when I finally figured it out last year. We were having a cyper Pinkstock party while all the Pinkstockers were at the real thing. Everyone was posting pictures but me so I forced myself to figure it out. Good job.
