This place has the best pictures of any I've seen. They look so real. I like it here and think I'll pull my lounge chair up and relax til the sun goes down. Then maybe another moon lit stroll on the waters edge. It's relaxing to just read this thread. This was a great idea for some enjoyment on a serious web site. Another storm winter weather warning. Ugh. I prefer it in fantasy land.

Hey maybe before the moonlit stroll we can go here
and have some good tropical drinks
After this week a good drink sounds almost like a requirement!

Nicki-beautiful bird that reminds me of a macaw we had when I was young. His tropical temperament hated the South and me;however,he was a lovely bird. Your bird pic is so lovely;matches our great drinks.
Hazel-sorry more bad weather may be brewing. You are right abt the tranquility and super pics here. Glad you came-nice beach support here with good friends, too. Not crazy abt storms myself:but,we have a real strong foundation to keep us safe and great conversation.
Angelcharlene, raising my hand to vote for both the lovely place and great drinks. Perfect for a beach get-away just visualizing all of the sites we can visit. Thanks for the pictures as I can just see myself in the vivid shots I see.

Hello Beach Friends, Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was in Florida ( at the REAL beach ) last week, from Friday till Monday, and I'm leaving to go back this Monday till Friday !! I can't wait to get back there.
Charlene, those drinks look great !!!
Wow, Nicki, that is a beautiful bird.
Hello, Iris and Hazel, and every one else---I'll meet you later, for the moon lite walk !!!0 -
Hi girls, haven't had time to ome to the beach and I am so ready.
Char, thanks, I haven't even had time to check to see who was kicked off of AI. So who is the one there who looks like John T?
Susan, if you talk to Cheri, please offer my condolences on this sad day.
Candie, we unleased a picture monster! Good job on the pics.what a lovely place.
Iris, my hubby says he thinks the headaches are from the combination of glucosamine and condroiton. I'm impressed that you can type so well on the blackberry; I have an iPhone and have a hard time typing, and forget text messaging!
Nicki, nic pic. Thinking tropics.....
Hazel, weather my way s supposed to storm, storm, storm but I'm thinking the storm may bypass us. It's been raining but not like they were talking about.
Sorry girls, quickly skimmed. I'll try to come back later.

Nicki, nice picture.
Margo, I'll tell Cheri next time I talk to her.
Barb, you were just in Florida. How nice. I just found out my brother and sister-in-law are moving there. Cool.
And I love all the cardinal pictures. we have lots around here and just bought a bird feeder for them.

Iris .. you had a macaw that hated you? LOL Tropical birds are beautiful though I agree!
Barb .. It's nice seeing you again, I'm glad to see you drop in! Wow, you're going back to Florida again!?! Wait, are you the one building a house there? Forgive me, tamox brain happening here! Iris, please help me, you have a memory sharp as a tack!
Margo .. this guy ...Jason Castro
Margo, I also take Glucosamine, Chondroitin & MSM (all in one pill) 3 times a day .. I don't get migraines though!
Susan, We have lots of cardinals by our house also. I should put out a bird feeder for them.
Time for that moonlit walk. Looks like another lovely night for one.

Hi everyone! How abt one last walk and then-it will be time for bed.
Barb-I think we should all go with you to Florida. Wow,I know the beach was grand. There is that feeling that cannot be copied nor the sights and sounds. Enjoy!
Angelcharlene-you are kind abt my memory. I was much sharper before menopause. Now,it is where are the keys and what did I come downstairs to do? LOL. I think that faithandfifty was having a winter home built in FL. Is that right, faithandfifty? The macaw was teased by my cousins and guess who did not get bitten and guess who did? They could run faster!
Susan-that is great to have relatives moving to FL. Now,you can go see Mickey more times. Maybe all of us need to go there after we do some beach visiting.
Margo-glad the weather has not been as bad as predicted. Do you have lots planned for Sun? I know you always have awesome meals, too when does your cooking group next meet? You could publish a cookbook with so many great recipes.
Thanks for so many neat pics to brighten up a rainy day. The water should be blue tomorrow as clear skies are predicted. I will walk over and see the sailboats tomorrow at the marina. That always is such a nice sight here on the coast. Happy Sunday!

Charlene, I wish I was building a house there !!!! But no, Just going to get away from the cold for a little while. My DH is retired from the Navy, so we can fly for free with the military. We finally decided to take advantage of it. I never flew before, so Florida was perfect for my first time, it only took 3 hours, and it was pretty cool ! Maybe I'll try Hawaii next !!
It is a nice night for a walk, I was just outside and the sky is full of stars.
Ok Ladies, I'll be back next week, don't party too much without me !!!
HUGS0 -
Good Sunday morning!!
Just relaxing at the beach before I start my day. Nice cup of tea while I post. My fav place in the whole wide world is the beach...even our virtual one. Tho, I do like the 4 seasons here in NJ. Today will be in hte low 40's so some of this snow will melt. The snow covered trees look so pretty tho. The academy awards are on tonight. I love that show. Hopemy favs win.
Junie,my younder DD lives in PA and she always has so many deer on her property. They are so graceful,I love to watch them. 1,000 daffodils...must look so pretty. Hope you get to see grandbaby soon...boy or girl?
Brenda/BMD,I love the beach too
Emelee,beautiful pics
Jas,Cat Stevens...he is on my ipod
Cheri, prayers for you today as you take your brother to his final resting place.
Amy,hope your shingles are disappearing
Iris,a walk to see rainbows sounds lovely
Charlene, beautiful cardinals. I love birds. I have a conure parrot.
The red and white drink looks like a Miami Vice...pina colada and strawberry daiquiri in layers
Nicki, same about RRB here in NJ
Bluedahlia,love your avatar
Barb, how nice to be in Fla away from this cold. Gladyou enjoyed your first flight
Here is a pic of our state bird...an eastern goldfinch
Yellow is my fav color too.
Have a great day...
One quick question...how do I get the pics to be bigger?
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

Char, what a nice pic to wake up too. Jason Castro, I'll have to watch for him. Hubby would get severe headaches when he took the glucosamine and chondroiton and they would stop whenever he quit taking them. I haven't had one as severe as Friday's in a few years.
Susan, that's great to have relatives in FL.
Iris, I'm laying in bed typing this now and the wind is howling out there. The rain they predicted hasn't hit but it's gusting about 40 or 50 miles per hour. Think I'll stay in today.
Barb, that's great that you can fly for free. Is it easier than flying standby with the airlines? I can fly for free too since hubby works for the airlines but sometimes it's not worth it.
Candie, is that what a a Miami Vice is - pina colada and strawberry daiquiri?
I definitely need the beach with this weather we're having.

Good morning beach bunnies. I got our lounge chairs all set up in the best spots, fresh fruit for breakfast. We all look gorgeous at the virtual beach in out teeny weeny bikinis. I am so glad I found this place. Angel, you post the prettiest pics, in fact, everyone here does.

This is where Im headed today. Need some sunshine and warmth. Gonna just relax, feel the warm breeze, and spend alot of time thinking about how good life is - here at the beach.

Good morning Beach Ladies. Well, I'm heading out today to enjoy the sunshine we haven't had for about a week. Here's a quick remedy for those who partied last night.
0 -
Good morning beach beauties .. another beautiful day on the beach today. I love the sound of the ocean .. it's so peaceful.
Iris: I think you're right that we should go with Barb to Florida! My mind has really suffered since I hit sudden instant menopause with my ooph last Oct. There are some sudoku books around here obtained because Audrey enjoyed doing them .. I think I'll have to dig one of those out. I'm going to have to work my brain to get it sharp again!
Barb: I wish I was too! LOL That's right, that was your first flight last time! Just think, now the possibilities are endless where you can go! Will be thinking of you while you're in Florida this week .. have a blast!
Candie: I always enjoyed watching the academy awards but I don't go to movies anymore. I think I'll turn it on anyway to see all the glamour! Does your parrot talk? I used to have parakeets. Really pretty birds. We don't have a state bird (we have a state game bird tho .. the ruffled grouse .. not so pretty lol). Our state animal is the whitetailed deer. Are you posting pics from photobucket? I love both a strawberry daquiri and pina coloda so would probably enjoy a Miami Vice .. would never have thought to put the two together tho!
Margo: Jason is the one who played his guitar with his song ... I forget what he sang .. but Simon said he was among the top 2 of the night, and I agree. His face resembles Travolta and some of his expressions. Maybe it's his eyes. Regarding the chondroiton and glucosamine, everyone is affected differently so that very well may be what caused your headache and your DH's. If I looked it probably is listed as an SE..
Hazel: Thanks so much for setting up the lounge chairs this morning for all of us .. enjoying the fresh fruit. We are all beach babes here for sure!
Nutty: Thanks for your kind words for Cheri yesterday

hahaha Jas, another great classic .. love it! enjoy your sunshine day!

I love soduku! They are great ways to pass the time waiting for doc appointments. But I have to have the books with the answers so I don't get too frustrated.

Alwayshope, great song again today. I look forward to the Surprise Song of the day. They're always good ones and take me back in time. Perfect for the beach.

WOW!

WOW indeed. Beach bunnies. Our party is getting bigger!! Welcome to our new cyber-bikini-babes.
Thanks for the fresh fruit, the songs, the drinks and the images to keep me going, now that I'm back in the midst of the snow. It's a real blessing to focus on the beauty and be inspired by such amazing pictures.
Had an incredible day yesterday in Chicago and then drove the 6 hours home, to sleep in my own bed.... got here safely before turning into a pumpkin at midnight. LOL. Exhausting, but the sand and the sun and the comradarie here at the beach will rejuvinate me. I feel like instigating a cyber-sand-volleyball game. Anyone want to join me? The weather's perfect at the beach today for frollicking like we're teenagers.
BTW: yes. We are the ones that are building an actual house in FL, to be completed by Nov or there abouts. Just 90 minutes from Mickey. You're all welcome to stop thru on your way, just as soon as there's a welcome mat.
AND today marks week #30 of my dd TWINS pregnancy. After all of the various tests on Fri they did NOT admit her, but have referred her to a high-risk, multiples specialist tomorrow morning first thing @ OSU. I'm grateful for further insight and expertise.
Blessings to you, Cheri in the midst of so much loss. May our goodwill surround you as you wrestle with so many emotions. Know that you are not alone as you grapple with the important questions. We are here as a happy distraction as you consider the significance of family, friends and the stories that weave us together.
Time for cyber-volleyball to begin! I'll be captain and I choose each and everyone of you for my team. Brad & Matthew & George Clooney & Cat Stephens are already warmed up for the first match. Let the games begin!

Wow Faith, twins? I have twin grand daughters. They are 4 yrs. old. We adore them!!!!!!
Howdy there, beach buds! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. I couldn't pry DH away from the computer yesterday. It's tax time! Ugh!
Jas, thanks for the songs every day!
Hi Margo, so you are a big Idol fan? We just started watching last season. I like it! Simon is foul tempered though, lol!
Welcome Hazelnut! I just saw your posts! We love our beach. It's a very warm place and you are right. We are all perfect!
Susan, yes please pass my condolences to Cheri when you talk to her next. So much sadness last week.
Charlene, that was a really cool picture!!!!!
Gotta go now! Things to do, people to annoy!

Happy Sunny Sunday!
What a great thread-seeing friendly faces and lovely views!
Beautiful, sunny and warmer day on the NC coast. The water is blue-not as lovely as the pics;very gentle and calm today.
Candie-I will add Cat Stevens as I think he had "Peace Train" right?I always refer to my iPod when I want a relaxing tune and never thought I could master the tech. Now,I have three and want an iPhone when my BlackBerry contract expires next year. I felt like you were describing abt posting pics-awesome feeling and success. Beautiful yellow finch pic! I rememb when the acad awards came on during the wk and I stayed-up past midnight. The next day would be a long day;esp in high schl-nev missed them-all black and white;fantastic night. Then,it became less of an event after so many TV shows maybe, just me. However, love the clothes, the excitement, etc
Barb-we will miss you this wk. I do rememb your first flight not long ago. Enjoy Florida and Margo can tell you all abt how lovely Hawaii is. She is going again soon and posted the most beautiful pics from there last year. I think a 4 hour flight to there would be pretty neat. See you next wk!
Hazel-so good to see you today. Thanks for staking-out a good spot with the chairs and fresh fruit. Maybe we should try a Miami Vice as that sounds awesome mixing a pina colada and strawberry daquiri-I think. I love the view of the beach and the wafting of suntan lotions/oils. It always reminds me of good times.
Margo-that sounds like strong winds, for real. You are wise to stay home as that is sure not fun to move nor drive. I was at starbuck's last Sun and thought of you. My friend always gets a boring decaf;not me. I love the fun ones-peppermint or caramel. She is better at watching after the caffeine. You always have the neatest things that seem to begin in CA and slowly get to the South. I think Imentioned a new Trader Joe's-will be second one in Raleigh area.
Faithandfifty-cyber volleyball is just the thing. I always loved to serve and play net-not that good at spiking;but, was on sev teams. That was before women really had teams like today-much better today. Great abt your trip and the pumpkin at midnight.LOL Will be thinking good thoughts for your daughter and the twins.
Angelcharlene-wonderful horse pic yesterday. The freedom and spirit was wonderful. It reminds me of the ponies at the Outer Banks that roamed along Chincoteague area. The whitetailed deer pic was very pretty. You have an eye for neat pics-real talent. Is the snow melting at all? I bet Audrey will have make-up days into June. Some yrs,we went on Saturdays during heavy make-up days;kids and adults sure were not happy.
Nicki-you are so right abt sunshine and warmth here. Angelcharlene has really done a great job with this thread. There are super friends here and at the beach,to boot. Couldn't get your pic on my BBerry today. I am sure it was pretty.
Jasmine-hello and happy. Sun!
Thanks for the visit with all of you wonderful beach buddies! Have a great afternoon and let the volleyball game begin! Yep,I heard the whistle starting the game.
Iris0 -
Hi Jan,
We were posting during same time-just I am slow typing today. Hope your Sun goes well! Ugh-hate tax time and all the papers to locate. Good for your husb to start early instead of April like me,sometimes. I saw the twins pic as I was looking through this thread last night. They are so cute!
Iris0 -
Popping in quickly .. have to run out for a bit.
Cyber beach volleyball .. great idea! I can actually play this without worrying about hurting afterwards!

Char, now I remember who he was. I'll have to watch him close Tuesday night. I play soduko all the time, even have a computer version. What did you think of Randy and Paula's debut?
Hazel, thanks for the lounge chairs and fruit.
Barb, I think I'm going to Maui the first week of August. Can't wait.
Iris, do you shop at Trader Joe's? Love that store.
Nicki, are you playing with Photobucket? Lost your photo and I swear I saw it earlier today.
Back later.
Faith, keeping your DD in our prayers.
Jan, I've been watching Idol since the first season, love that show. As foul as Simon is, he's right a lot of the time.

Margo: Yep! Photobucket was full. Has to move my pictures tgo sub categories. All have gone poof here on the boards.
Nicki

((Cheri)) So sorry to hear about your brother.
0 -
Whew! That Matthew has still got it for sure! Sorry we were gone so long.
Charlene - have you been hiding away with Brad all this time?
0 -
Faith ... I love your posts. Thanks for starting the cyber volleyball game, it was fun! I'm hoping to go to Disney next year so maybe I'll get to stop by your new winter getaway! I'm so glad they didn't have to admit your daughter to the hospital and will keep her in my thoughts for monday morning.
Janny ... Simon often goes over the line on Idol but most of the time I have to agree with him! I just wouldn't be as harsh as he can be!
Iris ... I'm just amazed at your talent on your Blackberry and how nice your posts are! The snow is melting quickly now .. we hit the 40's today .. it's funny because there is still snow under the trees where the sun didn't hit but otherwise you can see the grass!
Margo ... I really liked Paula's video with Randy in it. Even though she can be a twit sometimes, I feel for her because I can relate to her chronic pain issues. I can see she has them just by looking at her. She's definitely a great choreographer and it showed in her video. Did you like it?
Donna ... Yep, I had Brad with me until I finally had to give him up so he could take his pregnant wife to the Academy Awards ceremony. Can you believe he actually wanted to leave me and the beach to go somewhere with her??? lol
Well I stayed up far too late tonight. Spent a few hours this evening at the Coliseum .. a very cool place with an arcade, bowling alley, bars, restaraunt, magee moos, etc ...
It was a lot of fun but we spent the time bowling and in the arcade for Audrey. Next time I definitely want to make time to go to the restaurant.
