Greetings beach bunnies. All good news here on the coastal beach of central Ohio (one of the lesser known beach resort areas.)
My daughter is now 31 weeks along!!! Please sing: "Celebrate, good times, come on!!" (help jaz, need your techno know-how.... congrats on making the move.)
I've continued along on the mural, nearly have the first wall finished. I will have to have someone figure out how help me post some images, once I've gotten it accomplished. Today I added a picnic basket under the tree -- filled to the brim with juicy looking fruits.
Iris: thanks for keeping us straightened out. I'm learning people's history from your reminicents (sp???)
My DH has returned from his 7 weeks in sunny FL. He looks like tan-man.
Barb: sending energy of support for your recent losses.
Amy: so glad that you've been able to return to work.
Candie: do you teach? somehow I missed that??
Junie: I'm hoping that I've hung up the snow shovel for the final effort.

Faith, I teach CCD (sunday school) from 10-11:30 on Sunday mornings.This year I have 4th grade. I enjoy it so much. Hope we can see a pic of the mural when u are done. Oh the babies are getting ready!
I finally went back to my water exerc. class tonight. It is so enjoyable. But they only have it 2 nights a week. So tomorrow I will go to the 7 am class. I dont have to be to work til 9, so I will have plenty of time.

Susan, I can fly for free but don't have enough vacation left between those that I have planned otherwise I'd be at pinkstock for sure.
Iris, the weather here was awesome and tomorrow will be a carbon copy. Supposed to rain later this week. My husband is so not picky about his cookies. I bought some individually packaged white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and Ryan and I both think they are disgusting and won't eat them. Joe has no problem with that.
Amy, how are the shingles? Yup, $700 on a car that's worth less than $2,500.
Candie, my gym has both an indoor and an outdoor pool but I'm not letting anyone see me in a bathing suit - I work with some of them who go to the gym. Some of my flowers are starting to bloom. Yes, $700 for car seat covers, but not just any seat covers, covers for her 1980 something Mercedes.
Jas, how nice to have a Starbucks in the building.
Faith, isn't Iris awesome with her posts - she's great at remembering things.
Ok, time to go. Visit with the tax man today tired me out.

Almost another day as I am slow tonight! Yeah,I walked right before sundown! It reminded me of the beautiful pics here.
Barb-thinking of you and your BIL's service today. Thank you for sharing your FL trip with us. It was almost the same as being there. Glad that you had good flights and good weather.Take care.
Faith-I get wordy! LOL I drove my supervisors nuts;but I always would try to rememb a snipet abt a child/parent/trivia I love. Would love to see the tree/"fruits"of your labor/literally and figuratively. Not a pic expert,but this is fairly easy from a Photobucket acct. Singing the celebrate good times,come on with you! Is that Sly and the Family Stone? Now,I will hv to go look that up. LOL
Angelcharlene-hope that you are having a good evening. Will be looking for you soon as I have missed you and all of the lovely,refreshing pics. The ones that I cherish the most are the angels-go,figure! You think it has something to do with the Angel family name of mine? LOL
Candie-I was thinking it was abt the nine and ten year olds that you were teaching. That was my favorite age to teach in elem schl. I like their independence-yet,not too mature or teen yet.
Sounds great with your water exercises. Thought of you as I found some really beautiful shells last week. These were not NC native;lovely,though. I like the crocus and Easter lilies in spring,too.
Jasmine-Starbucks in your new office location. That would be really awesome. I love to treat myself there for a special time.
Glad you got things going so fast as moving makes life interesting. You are enjoying the commute,I know.
Amy-have to share with another animal lover this story. I was outside near the pier and a huge crane swooped down to grab a small animal-dropped it. I thought of the villain chilling as crane seemed really annoyed. Guess not always do things go as planned.
Countdown-three more days until I see my big computer screen-yeah!

There ...I said it. Yup, woke up this morning and was assaulted by <insert four letter word above>. What the heck! Its practically spring and we get this <insert four letter word above> now???? The only good thing is that IT WAS 70 DEGREES YESTERDAY so none of it is sticking to the streets.

Iris, I like cookies period. Doesn't matter what kind. I never used to plant until I got cancer. I have hyacinth (spelling) blooming and daffodils are starting to bloom. I even have strawberry plants in my front yard.

Well we got rain last night but nothing to do with tornados like they had said we would so that was good. We didnt even get as much wind as they had thought. I thing southern alabama got a bit more but it was still not as bad as predicted.

Margo - Thank you for all the nice pics you posted. That's awesome that you can post them now and you have a good eye for nice ones. I agree, David Archuleta is looking like the winner of Idol already but you know how this show can go. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend with ovarian cancer.
Iris - I agree with everyone about how great your posts are! I bet you have some real cherished memories of attending high school near a coastal NC beach! That just sounds awesome! Regarding Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana ... I was so confused at first not realizing they were the same person. I've heard Hannah Montana is the biggest concert draw ... Audrey has her cds, games, clothes, etc. etc! Seems like the "Achy Breaky Heart" is raising a decent daughter .. she's so much better than the likes of Britney and Co. Hope she stays that way as she gets older though.
Amy - That is too bad you had to get shingles to get two weeks off work! Glad you've been recovering well. I think I'll keep what I saw on my long walk to myself ... I don't need any trouble! But now I'm back and chillin like a villain! That really does just roll off the tongue! lol Glad you skirted the tornadoes!
Faith - You're going to Aruba, what a nice present!!! I'm so excited for you about your twin grandbabies! Singing Celebration with you! The baby room mural sounds very cool. We'll help you with posting pics when you're ready to! Your schedule sounds so busy!

Janny - Thank you for the pictures you posted! I Love the comfort Angels one! We had some nice weather here yesterday. Did you take the bikes out? I heard some motorcycles go by my house. I think it hit 68. Today it's raining .. supposed to get a lot.
Sahalie - I would love to see pics from your Bora Bora trip!
Susan - I'm with you, I will always remember Margo's mom spending $700 on seat covers! lol
Candie - It's funny when you talked about working for a dentist 37 years ago and showing your age. I always think you're younger because your member id has 1971 in it and often times that is the year someone is born! lol I remember "The Midnight Special" as well .. that was back when music was Really good! Glad you are back at aquasize!
Deb C - I think of you all the time and suspect it's going to take some time for the world to stop spinning. We'll all be with you for your scans this week and hoping for the very best results.
Barb - I'm so sorry to hear about your BIL and friend who passed away while you were in Florida. I hope you're doing okay. Hang out here with us and relax your stresses away. My brother is a chief loadmaster and flew on C-130 planes most of his career. I think he's now on a different plane .. a newer one called an Fsomething.
Junie - No need to address everyone .. we're just happy to see you drop in! Glad you got the big screen tv fixed, hope it didn't cost an arm and leg for such a long trip for the repairman! Wondering if you made it out on Monday for your family trip .. sure hope so!
Neesie - Good to see you again. Spring is just 16 days away!!! I feel for you putting on the weight. I put about 20lbs on and I've never been able to gain weight before BC. Most of mine came after my oopherectomy. So many gifts that surgery gave me!
Donna - Come back and visit us again!
Well I better stop and post this now .. with my darling angel Ava being my focus it's taken me all this time to get this done! I'm hoping everyone has a grand day on the beach today!

My Sweet DH asked me last night When I was going back to work.......Whatever......................It did tick me off though........He could have asked what the Doc said, or how's PT going (he thinks PT is a racket), I make such a little bit of money that my two weeks at home didn't do much to the budget!
Okay, somebody give me a kick or roll me over in an hour................don't want to look like the picture Amy sent me this morning!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, it's a gray rainy day today in PA. But here at the Beach the water is perfect for jumping the waves!

Well, wouldn't you know it. The one day it snows here is the day the roofing company decides to come give me an estimate on replacing my damaged shingle. Fortunately the snow had melted enough up there to see the area that needed repair. Boy is it cold!!!

Amy, there is no story behind those seat covers - she figured if you got them at Costco, they wouldn't fit. Basically, they saw her coming and welcomed her (and her wallet) with open arms.

Iris, my sister does business in Raleigh and I have a girlfriend who lives in Wakefield (I think that's the name) so maybe one of these days I'll fly out with my sister and visit.

Beach bunnies and our dear CharAngel..... am I missing something of a soap opera? There's a street gang? When I'm here at the beach I miss all of the shinanigans of 'real life.' Don't tell me there's some junior high nonsense going on???? Holy cow. Had no idea there was so much high seas and intrigue. Pretty clueless..... but thank heaven you got turned around and are able to bask here in cyber-sand again.
Well my enthusiasm for being grandma all day long is wearing me out. I want to go back to my regularly exhausting work life. This chasing a toddler all day is enough to wear me out. LOL. I continue to paint the mural during his nap. Maybe I need to nap during his nap??? Started the second wall today: building the castle.
I want some of those cyber cookies Margaret!
