I got the "oh Dear" lady when I tried to log on this morning..............I thought she was history!
Margo: Thanks for clarifying...........sorry that DS broke his hand, but how nice to see that he was defending a girl!
Iris: My clutzy sister............so nice to have a 'twin' out there! It used to bother me..........but now I wear my "clutziness" like a badge of honor!!
Faith: Thanks for offering the discount.......very nice of you! Hoping the timer goes off soon and we can get the babies out of the oven..........not to soon....but pretty soon!
Jas: Loving your 'songs of the day'...........!
Angel: Thanks for your pic of the Cabana Boy.................he kept trying to sneak out last night..........finally convinced him to stay put until all was clear in the morning!
Gotta run........one of my Clients just went on hospice and the team will be there this morning..................probably would be a good idea if I was there on time since she is my Lady!!

Jaz: has the polar bear moved over, so you can see the sunrise? I still have serious challenges making this work..... but now that I've done it several times, I'm fiercely determined to make it click. I am genuinely challenged by tech.

Faith -- yes, I see the picture now. Its beautiful. Do you mind if I use it for my desktop wallpaper?

Jaz: what an honor. I'd be thrilled if that image could brighten your day, on a regular basis. Please share it with anyone who might be uplifted by the message. Now I must go wipe the tears from my keyboard.

BABY POLL TO DATE:
KimberSIS: April 7
Norm: April 9, 9:18 p.m.
Iris: April 11
Puppy: April 19
CharAngel: April 26
I finally got out a piece of paper to record your selections..... and have been combing back thru the posts since I asked for your insight. (Have a nagging feeling I've forgotten somebody, cuz I thought that there were 2 votes for the 19th? Whoever invented paper & pencil should win an award, because it's making keeping track much more straight forward.)
Now, seriously folks, the rest of you please make a choice! For whatever reason, my DD is loving this process. She keeps asking if anyone else has voted. So those of you yet to weigh in, please give me a time as well. That was from Norm's idea.
I'm a regular on his thread under 5 New Angels.... he, Kimberly & Puppy are votes from his thread. I told them I'd give a prize to the winner -- so I need to make you aware of that enticement!!

I'm picking April 23rd....my DH's b-day I don't think I told you earlier how much I loved the photo of your DD. I wanted to rub her tummy SO badly...LOL I love babies and am known for scooping up babies at church and loving on them until they cry....then it's back too mom! LOL

candie, do I need to send out a search party for you?
susan, amy, barb, janny, junie, shrink, dottie ... so many missing at the beach ....
sahalie, I so agree lol
iris, aka "trouble" lol .. very nice analogy of the seashell representing our lives .. I so agree and having real friends here help to keep us grounded as well.
faith, you definitely have a full plate and I hope you're taking care of yourself as well. I cannot tell you how to manage but somehow it will all work out! Thank you for the discount at your web site, I think my daughter would so enjoy your book and I will be ordering it soon! I know I captured a very romantic moment with you and your dh .. so nice to hear about how over-the-moon you still are and your blended tribe blessing! Your "two year old story" is a good one .. sometimes we think we'll never get through this time but I try to remember to cherish all the moments, even the difficult ones! Your post today to everyone is awesome. I just love how you write and you remember so much! You're like Iris in that way! Wow, what an Awesome picture! The cross and how beautiful the ocean waves are. You really captured something there!
jas, loved the song today, it's one I always sing to Ava at tubbie time!
neesie, lol, glad you're keeping cabana boy in the dark until it's all clear. I think he can come out now! Oh, not that "oh Dear" ninny again! Good luck today, that's sad.
deb, so nice to see you popping in here!
Boy, aren't I lazy today making everyone's name start with a lower case letter! Well today is my appt. with the doctor and genetic's counselor to go over the results of my BRCA test. Wish me luck!
Oh, and the strike was averted at 11PM last night! Audrey was not happy to find out she had to go to school this morning. Her dad is off work on Thursdays and she was planning to spend the day with him.
Have a great beach day buds!

The local beach patrol are up to their elbows in water looking for certain beach beauties who are said to be "looking for trouble"
They have put out an APB on Neesie, Faith and Bearlysane!
Turn yourselves in girls for the proper punishment immediately.

Beach Lovelies . . .
Dining this evening will be on the Schooner "Friendship"
Our crew is waiting for our arrival to the dock by the infamous
"Tiki Hut".
Casual wear and don't forget a windbreaker as it can get chilly on the high seas with full regalia sails.
Deck shoes required.

Hi Ladies,
May I join you wonderful ladies on the beach for a few days? I need to get away for a spring break.
Last year at this time I was lying on a hard cold steel table while a scary noisy machine came within inches of my breast to zap the C out of me. Lurking above my head on the ceiling was a painted beach scene. I really tried to picture myself on that beach but I was too scared of the big ugly monster zapping away at me. Please help me bury him in the sand.
I am ready for some sunny warm friendship and this looks like the beach to visit.

WingGirl,
You found the right place.
Amazing fun on the beach here.
Kick off your shoes and go barefoot.
You'll forget that zapper before the tide comes in.

WELCOME WING-GIRL!!
I've met this fellow biker woman (and wing-man, too for that matter) and I can vouch for both of them! They will fit right in with the general mayhem of our carefree festivities here. Wings was the first one to welcome me on the boards when I was overwhelmed and scared..... she's a keeper!!
My only concern is that we are becoming a bit "Michigan-heavy" all of a sudden and you know how we Buckeyes start to get paranoid when we're outnumbered. I'm willing to open my picnic basket for both Wing-girl and SusieLouToo, as long as Nessie takes care of the drinks.
Sahalie: I'd like to be the first to turn myself in for the proper punishment. I have seen the error of my ways and want to make amends with the patrol at their earliest convenience.
And seriously.... our honeymoon was on a schooner nearly exactly like the one pictured above. The boat was on the historic register and we sailed out of Maine -- in and out of little villages, having cuisine cooked on the high seas, or pulling into a bitty island to roast fresh lobster. My DH organized the whole thing. We also did a variety of bed & breakfasts up and down the coast. Quite picturesque. Too long ago for digital pictures.... just use your imagination!
Wishing everyone a sound night's sleep, with the waves lapping outside your window.

Susan, accounted for and hugs back! You need them after being in the slammer!
Sahalie, well, I've been known to cause trouble a time or two so perhaps that beach patrol needs to come and punish me as well!
Thank you for arranging dinner on the schooner "Friendship" .. how nice to spend time with all my beach buds on a beautiful sailing voyage!
Winggirl2, how nice to meet you and I hope you stay for more than a few days! I would love to help you bury that monster in the sand! Faith is such a wonderful lady so if she says you're a keeper you surely must be!
Faith, your honeymoon just sounds so lovely!
Goodnight beach beauties .. wishing you dreams of sun, sand, surf and shooting stars to help you get a peaceful nights rest!

Char, I have to watch it now because we have ducks flying around work all the time and since I walk across the street to the cafeteria, I want to make sure they don't hit my head because theirs are bigger than the seagulls.
Iris, no it was not funny in my hair! I always knew I was in trouble when I heard "Margaret Ann" the way the southerners do - since my dad was from Texas. I agree with you on this thread. The beach is a nice to be.
Faith, good job on the walking. Keep it up. I love to bake - just now I'm trying to bake WW or Cooking Light more than not. Cool pic. I'm going to guess April 15 - tax day - 8:37 pm - if I win - can I have a book from your website for my nonprofit? Our fundraiser is April 26 and one of my packages is an "instant baby shower." Included is a handmade baby quilt, a gift certificate for a cake from my local bakery, Gymboree items, etc. Would tie in perfectly and be advertising for you....
Welcome Winggirl. You can see what a nice place this is by the pics Sahalie found for you.
Sahalie, trouble here - call me by my first and middle names. Which one of the punishers can I have?
Night beach buds, going to take my headache to bed. wish me luck with my sister tomorrow, she's getting a bone marrow biopsy. It's going to be a good day tho - we're starting with an early morning breakfast - then it's off to Stanford's Cancer Center - maybe we'll see Patrick Swayze.

Margo .. well I guess you have to have something to deal with in exchange for living in such a beautiful place! lol I think I'd carry an umbrella everyday! Oh, the Best of luck wishes for your sister tomorrow. I've been thinking of her. If you see Patrick give him a hug and kiss from me.

Hi,
So sorry I haven't posted nor have I read back yet. Miss you all.
I have been a lil busy and working too. I haven't been feeling well either. Having heart palpitations and freaking myself out. I have had them before, I take med for them. Last year I had them so bad along with chest pain and arm pain. Had stress test, echo and heart catheterizationj done. Cardio doc said arteries are as clean as a whistle and I was ok. They subsided and now they are starting up again. I have had a hard time sleeping lately and I tend to sleep ON my left shoulder, so I am wondering if that is why my arm hurts...it is sore to the touch. Last year they blamed the chest and arm pain on rads. Also, my left boob is paining me (the one withthe lumpectomy) and a lil under my arm. Not in the arm pit but down from there. I am a wreak to say the least. I missed my water classes this week cause I just don't feel like going. I can't sleep tonite cause I am worried about my palpitations. I need to call the cariologist. I just saw him the week before I went to Mexico and my echo came back fine as did my blood work, so he said I didn't need a stress test this year. He said see ya in 6 months. Even saw my onc that week...he said all is well see ya in 3 months. Oh,my nerves are shot!!! Sorry to dump on you all.
Hope you are all well. I will read back over the weekend to get up to speed. Faith, hope all is well with your daughter and babies. You are all in my prayers everyday. I have been posting on the quick threads . I like the humor ones. I hate when I get behind here.
Love ya!!!
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

Got my shoes so I can hit the deck! Wow,talk abt a beautiful boat and lovely scenery...those pics are awesome!!! That is one beautiful sailboat made for us!
Neesie...hope that your day was good and that the oh,dear lady has gone on vacation. Bet that we could have some fun and get into trouble...where is Susan to keep an eye on us all? Hope your Friday is a good one! Are you visiting with your mom tomorr?
Angel...thinking of you and hope your Thur was good. Hope that the mtg went well and glad for Audrey(I guess!LOL) that the teachers'strike was averted. Bet she was disappointed as I always loved the snow days more than kids usu. What gorgeous pics today!
Amy...thinking of you tomorrow! Hope the families are well...miss seeing you!
Barb...hi to you! Hope you and your family are well! Miss seeing you, too!
Faithandfifty...love that pic and that is so beautiful to capture the sky is such a symbolic way. Thanks so much for the website and for sharing your talents! I cannot wait to see some pics of the room and the enchanted land. Your Maine trip sounds wonderful! I went yrs ago on a New England cruise and saw a bit of Maine;lovely area. Yours sounds fantastic as well as dh,too!
Candie...so sorry to read abt the stress and worry that you are experiencing. I am hoping that your dr can alleviate your worries. Is it possible to make an appt soon to talk to someone? I know what you are describing and it is a worry and stressful. Although, your tests and dr's repts sound very good. I am not medically trained-just been to cardiologists w/my father for many yrs and assisted w/his tests and meds.
Deb...great to see you and good news I read abt the node shrinking! Super!
Hope that your wkend goes well there in Alaska.
Margo...thinking of you and your sis tomorrow.Glad that you are going with her and sorry to read you had a headache. Yes,I bet it did blow across as it has bn quite windy here. Take care! That mom that got "targeted on the head" was not happy one bit with the beach seagulls. The child laughed, the mom was not a happy camper or beach stroller that day! LOL
Susan...saw you were keeping Neesie out-of-trouble. I think we have more fun when in trouble as long as it is not too serious. Think we got us some good assistants there-dressed up in the bow ties!
Jaz--like Bobby Darin and got one of his on my iPod..."Somewhere Beyond the Sea"...love that one and what a great voice!
Got a crazy computer to go along with a crazy me! Everyone have a great Friday!

A quick pop, now that the sun's up..... i highly recommend the "bow-tie" treatment to each and all in turn!!
Margo: my prayers for you and sis today and thru the weekend ahead. Hold each other up. Muster all the courage and audacity that you can find (or borrow) to face this hurdle of unknowns and waiting. Strength. Solidarity. Compassion as you move forward together.
When you have time please do tell me about your nonprofit. I feel like I've joined the party late, and know so little about our beach peeps. I have you registered on my poll for tax day.
Candie: My heart goes out to you today in the face of so many questions and concerns. Our bodies and minds are so woven together and when one gets effected the other can go hay-wire, too. It certainly sounds like you've been taking your concerns seriously -- seeking the guidance of specialists and enduring tests. My hope is that there are answers ahead..... oh, and sound sleep, too!! Sleep is such an important and illusive componant of the equation. Praying for you to have insight into the whole picture.
Iris: You're in your splendor now -- with all of the numeous cheery images to start our day. Thanks for pepping up the place. I'm so glad that you found a spot to bury Wing-Girls steel monster for her. Are you feeling better yourself? What's the report from your mom? Has she continued to head toward wellness? Thinking of you both with healing vibes.
AngelChar: IT WORKED!! I just opened an email from my warehouse people, that your order has been processed and PROPERLY with the discount!! You have no idea what this means to me. It's something I've thought about doing for over a year now. You're the first! It was yours & Nessie's nagging... I mean encouragement, that got me to connect the dots to get it done. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Can't wait for feedback from your daughters!!!
Would you like me to personalize it? To both girls, together? If so -- please spell their names as you'd like me to inscribe. I could stop by the warehouse today on the way home from DD's doc appt.
SusieLou & Winggirl: come splash some more here..... you have to stop thru often, as you never know what Sahalie is cooking up for us.
Deb: i can just picture you snatching up babies at church and lovin' up on all that new-baby smell. i'll send you some 'cyber-baby-powder-baby-hair-newborn-scent-'n-love' just as soon as we have the new batch in. Consider these unborn little souls, working so hard to get ready to join us, all of the amazing adventures that lie ahead for them. I give you permission to let them inspire you thru your treatment at hand. You can do this, Deb. I want your energy here to guide me thru the endless nights ahead.... reminding me that I'm up for a challenge, too.
Jaz: where's our song for the day? Did I miss you?? Hope that everything's fine on your end.... any great plans for the weekend. Let us live vicariously thru them.
Susan & Nessie: please see if you can have a day or two without causing the beach patrol to have to do paper-work for your antics. They need to be pumping iron and getting sun -- as much as possible. Let them focus on the priorities girls.
To each & all who may be splashing around here at the edges of the beach, know that we send you the healing that comes from sunshine & friendship. Raising my tropical cyber-drink to wellness & wholeness for each of us on this journey. Better days ahead! Make today matter.

Sahalie - the beach picture does look inviting. I'm going to plop down in the deck chair and admire the teal blue water.
Faith - Nice to see you here. Don't worry the MI peeps promise not to bury the buckeye in the sand. Your honeymoon sounds like a romantic movie script.
Margaret - Hope you had a pleasant breakfast with your sister. Gotta love a warm big breakfast. Best wishes to your sis today. If you run into Mr. Swayze kidnap him to the beach. I'm sure Nessie would love to train him as our new cabana boy.
Iris - thanks for helping me bury the zapper. We can watch the tide carry it away. Do those deck shoes come in men sizes? We may have to order a pair for Mr. Swayze.
Angel - thanks for helping Iris and I with the burial. I agree Faith is a wonderful person. We are blessed to have her among us.
Candie - hope you feeling better soon. Heart palpitations can be scary. I get them if I indulge in to much caffeine. I can tolerate no coffee but giving up chocolate because of the caffeine is very hard for me.
Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome. Have a Happy Friday!

Good morning beach friends ! Hope everyone has a Beautiful Friday. Isn't it SPRING ???? Then why did I wake up to 4 inches of snow !!!!! The Robins are so confused, and so are my flowers that are trying to peek through. The reason I was MIA yesterday and Wednesday, is because My DH and I were kidnapped too!!! Some friends had a free room at the Salamanca Casino, so we went and spent the night. We were having a real nice time, until we found out the room was on the tenth floor----my DH is closterfobic, and does not do elevators---He can usually do the stairs to about the sixth floor---but he only made it to the fourth floor, and couldn't make it any further, he ended up sleeping in our van !!!! Other than that, we had a nice time----would have been better if the machines would have given some of the money back !!!!!
Faith, I was the other one who said April 19---are we suppose to guess a time too ????
Ok--I'll have to catch up more later--gotta do some house work.
HUGS to ALL my beach buddies !!0 -
OH, OH !!!!!!--don't know why that came out Sooooo big !!! Oh well BIG smiles to ALL.

I like being the top priority of the beach patrol. That is a nice picture. hmmmm......

Good morning beach beauties! It's a great day. My BRCA test results came back negative and I'm so relieved!
Candie, I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I hope you call your cardiologist back and get in there for more tests. I can feel your anxiety. Are you able to take anything for that like Ativan? You should call your oncologist also. The not knowing and waiting can wreak too much havoc. In the meantime hang out here and let the calmness of the ocean wash over you. We want to be able to support and encourage you sweetie. Big hugs.
Winggirl, glad to see you back today ... that was a wonderful welcome image from Sahalie with the beautiful beach scene! Great idea for Margo to kidnap Patrick Swayze to be our cabana boy!
Faith, yes, yes, yes, I would Love to have you personalize it and my daughters would love it too! I hope it's not too late. My 9 year old is Audrey and my 2 year old is Ava. I'm so happy the discount worked as it should! I can't Wait to receive my order!
Donna, that sounds so yummy for lunch today! Could you at least send one of the beach patrol back with the lobster if you don't make it back yourself?
Barb, awesome beach smile!!! That's too bad about your DH having to sleep in the van but glad you had fun anyway! Ugh, don't want to think about snow any longer! Sorry for you!
Susan, lol
Iris, you find the best pics! Love the Beach Patrol Headquarters!
Margo and Amy, thinking of you both today and anxiously waiting to hear how things go. Holding you both tight and sending positive vibes for the best results.

Jasmine, TGIF for you!!! Where are you and our perfect song of the day?

Popping in with a quick hidey ho. It takes so long for my puter at home to load this thread. Yes, I'm still on dial-up. I'm going to do something about that soon. I'm at work right now.
Everyone have a peachy day and weekend.
0 -
As we all move into the weekend I want to wish each of you a carefree weekend.
I know many of us are dealing with situations we would rather not.
You are all so strong, you give me strength.
I hope all those that went on our dinner sail at sea last night enjoyed it.
The beach patrol has heard some rumors of a few misdamenors and will catch up with those who created mischief.
You know who you are so front and center.
On the bulletin this morning I read they are looking in particular for an Angel named Charlene and a Margaret aka Margo.
There could be others.
The ship captain was very impressed with our conduct though.
Who slipped him the extra rum?
Okay Beach Beauties, enjoy the wonders a Friday evening can bring.

Hi to all!
Gonna make DH take me out to dinner...........so I'll be fast for now!
Faith: You forgot me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! April 18th was my pick for your babies!!
Hey Winggirl! Another Michigander..................3 strong......and we can count Deb as 1/2 cuz she used to be a Michigander!
Everyone must be good and not 'tarnish' my reputation with my MI people!
Susan.............I tell ya, glad to see you around..........and to the rest....I tried to keep her out of trouble, but....failed miserably, so decided to join her and it is much more fun that way!!!!
Did you all know that Susan and I want to rent a RV and do a rode trip to visit as many as we can????? Can't you just see it.............I'm picturing us bopping down the road in a VW van with Peace signs all over.............two blondes and ditzy ones at that.............wonder how far we could go.........GPS would definitely be in order!!!!!!!!!!!
Oops.........DH is up from his nap.........gonna go eat some not so diet food and will be back in a bit!!
