I am happy to report that all of you who allowed me to beam them up or down to Marco Island, Florida had a marvelous time.  I caught a  glimpse of many of you at Tiki beach bar sipping those tropical drinks.  I'm not sure who it was but someone was parasailing over our heads. A few of you took out kayaks and sail boats.  I was among those resting on the beach under an umbrella and reading a book. The water was calm and warm so I went in. In so doing I overcame two of my ten greatest fears:

#1 - I didn't get swallowed by a Great White (I've been afraid of the water since Jaws)  and

#2  - My precious Airways prostheses didn't escape my Lands End bathing suit and start drifting their way from Florida to Texas via the Gulf of Mexico without me.

We laughed at the metal detector guy who took his equipment right into the water which was nearly over his head.  I didn't know you could do that.

Also funny - A couple who didn't know zilch about sailing took out a small sail boat and immediately grounded it on the shore line.  The woman got out to push the boat back into the water.  A gust of wind came along and the man sailed away without her.  She ran after the boat but he kept going.  Finally he figured out how to turn around but he just kept turning around and around.  Somehow he got back to the shore and, instead of fighting, they were laughing. Happy ending to that story.

None of the pictures I took looked as good as many of the beaches shown on this site. Besides another of my fears is using Photo Bucket.

We're back and I hope all is well with all of you beach beauties.

    Hi to everyone!

Hope you have had a great day! I have a new keyboard and it is wonderful! However,I had a huge post and lost it when I hit enter...Cry! So,I am starting over, again.

Jas,I had a really difficult time getting on this morning and thought it was my new hard drive. I did not see the top section that you mentioned;but, had a long time-out almost. Thanks for Fleetwood Mac yesterday! I loved that grp esp Stevie Nicks,Christine McVie and Mick Fleetwood. Maybe I can get iTunes album on iPod...I will add that! Also, you mentioned old college texts and I hv this one from 1969. It is my fave on American Literature. You are right abt it being hard to let some of them go(at least for me);I think abt people I knew or the profs we had that taught certain classes. You are right abt getting clear of some things as I have w/books. After some time,I just had to let some go...hard,though! I hate to throw out things;but, clutter gets annoying.

Candie,so glad that you are feeling much improved. Your yard sale sounds great and I know abt going back and collecting more things. Whenever I do the GCF donations,I have to always take back some and hurry to the place as I am a collector,by nature. Yet,it always feels much better after some things are gone and more space is available. These spring flowers are for you.

Sahalie,I love taking trips and since I lack coordination, these are wonderful!

The kayaking in those beautiful vessels and the Jeeping across the rugged terrain! Yep,now I like those adventures...and I love the way I feel like I am right there with you describing what we are seeing and awesome colors!

Here we are...all at the beach and ready for the next walk! I hv used this pic before;but,I like the motions. Maybe we will find some NC native shells like our state shell:the scotch bonnet. I love these horses-pic has been used before,I think, dedicated to all the angels who guide us on our way and are there with us...thank you!

Ames, thinking of you,my friend! Hope that you are feeling much better and that you know how special you are. Take a ride in the Wrangler for me! Hi to Tucker and all the other"kids".

Neesie, how are you? Hope that you are having a great Thur! I sure do miss those great MI red delicious apples that I had like  5 bags of this yr. They were the best! This pic reminds me of you.I think because of the happy expression and I see you with your kindness and the support of your friends. You would never know that I have collected bears over 50 years, would you? Hope your mom is doing OK;do you visit this Friday?

Margo, hope that you have had a great day! I know you are really busy this time-of-year with the upcoming fundraiser. Your hard work is so evident in all the planning and the events. Hope that you had a great visit with the grands and that Thur goes well.

I am not sure where this is in San Francisco-perhaps you do. It was beautiful and had Whitcomb Ballroom. It just reminded me of some of the neat events that you have described.  I think that chandelier would look lovely in my house! Ha! I know it might be bigger than my house--slight problem! Thinking of you!

Susan, how are you? Are you working full-time now? Tried to find a bear with books...this reminded me of your kindness and creativity! You have the neatest designs!  Have a great Thur!

Shrink, great to see you and your trip sounds terrific! I loved that abt the couple in the sailboat! That sounds like something that would happen to me or my family. We have missed you and so glad that it sounds like a blast on your trip. This drink is for you...I have always liked the coconut and fruity taste. What type of fun things did you have to eat and drink? It just sounds so very exciting!

This is a special treasure for the Outer Banks of NC...Wings,how are you?

I know you have some beautiful pics of lighthouses and some interesting stories. Hope that your week goes well and your fam is well.

For you and all the special angels that have watched after me and helped me in tough times...this pic is for you:

Faith for you,dd,beautiful gs and the new little twins(hope to hear soon). Saying special prayers for the babies well-being and the family. So sorry fo r the extra stress. We are with you!

For some dear friends, thank you,for your support during a challenging week! This is for you...thank you for watching over me! This is  a special Wilow Tree angel and some "beary" special friends! The pollen has been really tough this week and all the noise from the repairmen! Here's to finishing the hammering...

Faith so glad to hear the baby is near.  How exciting.  Can't wait for the pictures.

Candie,  it's common for my lumpectomy breast to be sore.  I don't think it will ever be normal or "not hurting".  Glad you are going to see your doctor.  I even had an infection in mine once.

This is such a sweet caring place.

Here's my angel picture for the day.

No babies yet. No more time-able contractions.

The "drama" of the MIL horror story has continued to expand exponentially. We have a call in tomorrow to speak with the sheriff. I do not exaggerate. I'm sure you've seen some sort of episode of Jerry Springer that would pale to this current situation.

I think it will take divine intervention to ever put Humpty back together again.

Thank you for allowing me to come to our beach with my sadness and sorrow. I always get such sollace from watching the unrelenting waves. To imagine that we've found ourselves in this situation at what should be one of the happiest times of our lives????

Please pray that I can some how continue to hold up in the face of all of this. Please pray for my DD's grip. She is now 37 weeks along, even by her doc's calculator. Please pray for clarity and peace.

    Faith,

I am praying for you and your daughter.

I am so sorry you both have to deal with what ever the woman is causing.

Do you live close to your daughter?

I hope so as you seem so close and devoted to one another.

I know everyone here is behind me when I tell you our prayers are with you both.

Good morning Beach Ladies.  Yes, I agree that this is a sweet caring place.  I'm sorry that this week has been a busy one for me and I haven't had much time to post.  We're in the requirements/designing phase of a new project and that's the time when ten thousand meetings are required.

Faith -- what a shame you have to deal with something like this at such a happy time.  Can't the SIL help out here and get his mother to stop whatever she is doing?  Sorry if I'm being too nosey.

Here is the song of the day especially for Faith, DD, Wonderboy, and our babies:

    Surprise song of the day!

Shrink -- sounds like you had a grand time!  Welcome back.

Hi to Candie, Sahalie, Footpringsangel, Susan, Iris, Neesie, Divine and anyone else I missed from A to Z.

I hope to be much less busy next week.

Another flyby for me.  Until my fundraiser is over, a week from Saturday, I have no time.  I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you.  I'll be back this weekend when I have some time.  I'll try to check in to see how the baby watch is going.  Faith, hope the saga with MIL gets better - no one needs that right now.

Beach bunnies, today is wonder-boy's birthday!! He's TWOOOOO!!

And so we will fill the day with celebration.... we will reflect on potential and possibility and joy and exploring and eagerness and learning and discovery and sunshine and sand castles and delight and opportunity and kindness and giggles and miracles and love and amazement and new words and singing songs and wagon walks and future knock knock jokes, and worms in buckets and snuggling and cars-that-go-beep and campfires on the horizon and navigating and wisdom and splashing in puddles and every other good gift available

love to each of you on this special day.......... the sun always shines here at our beach and this morning i've been collecting a handful of goodies from the tide's abundance and thinking of how each one of you gathered here is so very special to me

wait till you see what the last big wave washed up!

The sun is shining and the waves are waving.

Good morning and happy Thursday to each and every beach beauty.

Faith, What a beautiful post you just wrote.

A two year old wonder boy will most definitely keep your mind on all the joys you mentioned.

I know, I have three of them.

Of course they are way past two but the wonder and joy keeps in motion and I thank our lucky stars for that.

Candie, 70 degrees of sun and warmth in NJ is fantastic.

I am so glad to know you are feeling much better and I hope you are able to get out and enjoy the feeling of the sun on your face, sit awhile in chair, close your eyes and hear the "waves waving."

Margaret, Hello.  You may have told us what the fund raiser is for but I missed it.  I would love to know if you would mention it again.

How is your sister doing?  Is she home from the hospital yet?

Do you live close to each other so you can go see her often?

Jasmine, Busy is good.  Keeps our minds up to speed.

    Meetings are another thing though.Undecided

Your work sounds like it must be interesting with designing and requirements.

Debbie, I love what you shared. So beautiful and helpful to remember always.

Iris,  Have I told you that Iris and daisies are my favorite flowers?

I love all flowers but those are my two top.

Okay girls I know we rode horses in the waving waves a few weeks back but today we are saddling up and horse back riding up the beach and on up into the hills above the beach for half the day then rest and recoup on the hillside above our beach where the wildflowers grow and we can hear the sound of the water as it ventures in on it's methodical journey to wish us well with each ride onto the sand.

We will have home made granola bars with fresh fruit and fresh spring water already waiting for us brought up the mountain earlier by the beach patrol.

We will bask in the sun for a while while we reflect how lucky we are to be here and breath in the amazing ocean air that will fill our lungs and hearts with happiness for the good things in our lives.

We will then ride back down the mountain through the lush green ferns, trees and volcanic rock formations and ride back down the beach to the joy of music from the local acoustic guitar player and a sumptuous array of dinner delights and various assortments of liquid refreshments especially fresh pineapple, mango and papaya juices.

The beach patrol will take our horses back to the beach barn for tender care.

    Time to saddle up.

    Hi All,

I'm back! I have not had much computer time this week... busy busy.

Sahalie - I am ready for that horse back ride and light lunch.

Jasmine - Wish I could of heard the Prayer song - I do know some of the words so I am humming it in my head.

Candie - We are having a 70's day in MI today also - loving this weather!

Faith - Enjoy Wonderboy's special day. Sorry to hear about the MIL drama. Hope SIL has a safe journey home maybe he take his mom back w/ him?!

Iris - Thank you for the lighthouse picture - how I wish I were there admiring it in person. I do have several lighthouse pictures I will share. Having trouble logging on to photobucket. DH and I have rode our motorcycle to NC before - but no lighthouse visits. He is a big nascar fan so we did the Race City tour and DEI musemn in Moorseville NC. From there we went to Ashville and hopped on the Blue Ridge ParkWay. What a beautiful ride the parkway is!

Margret - sounds like you are working hard on the fundraiser - hope you have a great turnout.

Nessie - My DH finally scheduled his colonscopy for next wk after he made me do mine first. MEN - sometimes they can sure be wimps! Hope you are enjoying our spring weather.

Saddle up ladies let's ride like the wind.

Good evening Beach Ladies!  Well, its almost the end of the work week.  I have to take tomorrow off to take my car in for some maintenance.  I've decided to try to put off a new car until the fall so I have to keep this one in good working order for the trade in.  They estimate 3 hours for a tune up, flush and maintenance the transmission system, and new belts and hoses.  I hate having to sit in those waiting rooms.  Thank goodness for mp3 players and suduko books.

Faith -- any news on BABY WATCH 2008???   I can't wait!

Hi to all of you,Beach Buddies!!

What a day...in the 80's and I had the pleasure of seeing the most beautiful gardens today and took a few photos... My fave color-salmon tulips against pretty white buildings. It was an author signing her book and what a great afternoon!  You know how sometimes the day just seems to be so good to make up for not so fun other days???

Anyway, hello,to the friends that I look forward to "cybervisiting"with each night.

faith...keep hoping for news of two little ones for us to meet. I have thought of Sarah, the twins and little gson today.Hoping to hear good news as I am so sorry to hear that there are worries necessitating law enforcement. It must be so hard to watch your child in pain. It was difficult to watch my schlkids in painful times. So,pls know we all are thinking such good thoughts and hope you feel us there with you.

Happy late Birthday to little gson. Hope he had a great day! I just love the descriptions of his birthday.

Sahalie...It is such a pleasure to read your posts and visualize all those neat places where we all are.The horse is just beautiful! I can feel the ocean breezes ruffling my hair and the way the sand just gets on your feet no matter how careful you are walking! Love it... How abt these fruits as I was reading abt the mango juice, pineapple, and papaya,I was thinking how I love those tropical fruits.

How abt some daisies to add to our table?

Jas...hope that the car repairs go faster than you anticipate. I know abt sitting there and take my laptop,iPods and books as time seems to drag when I go. This is not your auto shop experience,I know, but it was funny to watch the tires. I just love to hear Celine Dion and Josh Groban sing that song! That is one of my favorites;what a great start to a day! Thanks!

Wings...love the areas that you are describing in NC. I have not been to Mooresville in a long time;however, that is a really pretty area. Lots of folks here go to Charlotte and to Martinsville,Va to see the NASCAR guys. I went to some when younger; smaller races-lots of people there. Hope that your fam is doing well. This scene reminded me of your beautiful descrip of NC mtn areas-I lived near the Blue Ridge Parkway when I was a teenager. That is a lovely place-except when it snows or they have rock slides. Your area fo the US is lovely, too.  Come back and visit,anytime...would love for all of us to meet someday...that would be neat!

Candie...hope that your day was a good one;was it 9-9 hrs today? I like the pics, too and try to find some fun themes. I love flowers...those salmon-colored tulips were so beautiful today.Have a great  Friday!

Footprintsangel/Debbie...good to see you and hope things go well for you! Here is a pic that reminds me of walking at the beach and seeing foot prints. Those were such fun times at the beach...beach walks, for my family and me.

Hi to all my angels who are the greatest friends and relatives that a person could ask for;thanks! Much love and happiness to all of you that I cherish and adore!!

Margo, this is supposed to be a sunset at a California beach which reminded me of your great descriptions. You have worked so hard on your fundraiser and I know it will be awesome! Congrats on all the terrific accomplishments! One week from Sunday...will be here soon. Hard-to-believe that time rolled that quickly...it just has zoomed by.

It won't be long until another sunrise...on the beach and many other places.Take care all of our Beach Buddies! Have a great Friday!

Well, this will be short.  I have to be at the car place at 7 freakin 30 this morning so I need to get a move on.

Here's to all you superhero's on the beach.

    Surprise song of the day!

Just remember, if it wasn't  for all of us 'average, ordinary, everyday superheroes', the world would be in very bad shape.  So, let's get out there, do our thang, and save the world.  :)

Look at the world thru wonder boy's eyes!!!

After sitting here on the nest for the last 8 weeks ++

I can't believe this, but I'm leaving this afternoon for 28 hours -- to go present for children's librarians & teachers up in Cleveland tomorrow. My DH will come sit on the eggs....

She's held them in this long..... I'm asking for at least 30 more hours.

When I arranged this event about 8 months ago -- never in my wildest, did I anticipate that she'd STILL be pregs @ this point????

This is a good thing and reason to celebrate.

***I was trying to read here, post this and sit and pre-sign my books..... I just signed one Debbie Cleveland (my first name & where I'm going this afternoon.) LOLOL A lesson in focus!! So if anyone wants a mis-signed book from this wacky time in my life, it's yours! You'll be able to remind me that I couldn't remember my own name.

P.S. The genuine discussion of involving legal back-up, seems to have calmed things down.... at least for the past 24 hours. Prayer is a mighty power. You prayed me right into today, when I wasn't sure I could get here under my own steam. Thank you!!

Hey there, faith! I would love any book from you! You are an amazing writer and beach buddy! Yesterday,I went to an author's tea/book signing. Now,that is cool...I just kept saying oh,to be up there and have that knowledge to write and speak to the crowds. You are awesome and so are all of those who have such talents. This was Dorothea Benton Frank...what a gifted speaker and writer. I,who can't focus on books these days as I have the patience of a bumblebee...buzzing like the saws outside this townhouse and they will be here for eternity,I think!

Gorgeous pic of the little wonder boy! Does he not have the most beautiful eyes? Wow! Best wishes on your speaking engagement,I have such great admiration for writers and speakers. Our author was telling funny stories abt being lost in a no-tel motel in a tiny town and worrying abt the small town safety. That was pretty interesting as I think abt the big cities and the safety issues... Sarah, with you my cyber friend! We are all thinking of you and hoping for Monday, right(you return on Sun?)

Hi to Jas! Hope that the car repair goes faster than you anticipate. Do you have work that you do while there from your laptop? Just sitting on those seats drives me insane and pretending(for me) to look at the cars and see the new features. Hope that you have a great day! Still sorting and cleaning-out closets here and hoping to do more spring cleaning here. It is always "growing" it feels! It does look cleaner than three yrs ago...progress!

Candie...hope Friday is a good one and you do get outside for lunch. I think your weather sounds like ours. I just think spring has sprung here...but who knows? We have had snow in April here...one never knows in this state! I am so ready for more days like the 80's yesterday. People were in shorts and one guy had no shirt...now,that is a bit much as he might want to check that small innertube around his waist before he walks his dog! It was amazing that someone that chunky would be without a shirt...maybe tanning?

Some of my bunnies, bears and other friends wishing you all a glorious Fri! Still renovating rooms as it has been only 13 months since the burglary and all the curtains were taken down and new doors, etc. I never thought it would be near this "normal" again. Thank you, friends, for caring! The Beatles were right abt..."I get by with a little help from my friends..."

Hi to all of you that I have not mentioned: Margo,Sahalie, shrink,Wings,Amy,Susan,Neesie,Debbie and all special angels that are cherished and fondly thought of! Take care!

Even at the beach,we can get too burned and crisp! LOL I think I have used this one before, but a good chuckle for a wkend!

Good afternoon Beach bunnies.  I'm home.  Everything went well on the car maintenance  front.  It only took half the time they said it would.  A weird thing happened.  The mechanic came in and complimented me on taking good care of the car.  Its 10 years old and has over 150,000 miles on it but I have to wonder if they are so amazed because I'm a GIRL.

While I was waiting, the rain came and let me tell you...its a MONSOON!   I kid you not.  We already have so much water from the last few weeks that the roads are just one big water puddle.  But I'm home now with a nice cozy cup of cocoa coffee and ready to watch some good movies.

Faith -- I'm so glad that things have settled down for you and DD.  That wonder boy has the most incredible eyes.  He's going to break alot of hearts just with those peepers alone.

Stay safe on your travels.  I would be worried if you weren't distracted with all you have going on.  Give yourself a break.

Iris -- keep up the good work on the de-cluttering and spring cleaning.  I do it the flylady way.  A little at a time so I don't feel overwhelmed.  Right now I'm working on getting rid of books and cleaning out the garage.

Wings -- I heard about the earthquake on the news.  How freaky!  I've never been in an earthquake but they say when the New Madrid fault goes, it will be a doosey for us here.

Hello to Neesie, Sahalie, Shrink, Footprintsangel, Angel, Divine, Candie, Margaret, Amy, Biker, and anyone else I didn't name from A to Z.

Watch out for those waves girls.

They are calling to us to take a morning swim.

I could go for that actually.

    Iris, those tulips are beautiful.

They have a different type form to them that i love.

You gave me a giggle this morning with the cartoon and bacon.

I've been there.  One too many Mai Tai's on the flight to Hawaii, got to the beach and passed out.

I woke up like a lobster and paid for my recklessness the rest of the trip.  Where was our beach patrol when we need them.

They carry sunscreen in their patrol kits.

Wings, Your avatar light house is so much fun.

Faith, Happy safe travels and you know what will happen now of course since you are going to give your talk.

Babies will say, "Let's surprise Grams and be born now."

Silly babies.  I hope they appear on the 24th, the day I picked.

Glad to hear you have good back up for what ever the problemo is.

Wonder boy looks like he is ready to jump into his chocolate cake.

    What a cutie he is.

OK, Brunch by the pool.  Ready set go!

Jasmine,  Good luck with the car and I wish even more luck with the bill.

    Car and vet bills.  Horrible.

Let me start with a genuine "hello" to all!  It is Beautiful in the Mitten State today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 78degrees and I love it!

Iris:  You are so good with words................are you a 'writer' like our Faith?

Love the teddy bears...............been collecting for a long time, eh?  In my house it's Angels!  95% are contained in my Curio Cabinet...........I started collecting when My Son Died...........each one means something. And I can look at them and tell ya where each one came from! (or close anyhow!)

Faith: Hope you enjoy your conference/seminar this weekend!  How does it feel to be 'sprung' from 'baby watch' for a few??  I'm totally bummed....my guess was for the wee ones to be born today!!  Wonderboy is soooo cute..and looks like he had a great b'day!

My GD is spending the night tomorrow...............I'll be giving her the book, CD and DVD from you.............can't wait to watch with her!

Jas:  I am absolutely  stuffed!!!!!!!!!!  I made your Potato soup today.....very easy and very good!  I think I messed up on one thing though...  I had picked up a packet of Country Gravy Mix a couple of weeks ago..........before I knew it should be 'Pioneer'................didn't notice until I was using it tonight that it was 'sausage' flavor!  It was still yummy....but I could definitely taste the 'sausage!'

Margo:  I know you make the soup also.............ever tried using 'potatos O'brien in it?  That's what I used and they have chopped onion and peppers in it already!

Winggirl:  Nope...........I didn't feel the quake here!  Kinda scary..feeling quakes in MI!!  Aren't you glad Spring has Sprung in MI??  Are you walking with us this year?

Gotta call and check on Mom.........she wasn't feeling to good today and I am kinda ashamed to say that my patience weren't the best with her today. I hope I masked it well.

This is the lighthouse from my avatar just a different angle. Lighthouse is in N. MI it is one of a few that you are allowed to actually tour the lighthouse. This one also has a small museum. We have a few lighthouses that offer a summer "host" program. You sign up for a week and volunteer your services to operate the lighthouse tours and museum. You get to stay in the house as your payment. How fun would that be? One of these summers I am going to sign up - my dream job!

Iris - We live close to the MIS track about 1/2 hour away. We don't go to the races anymore - crowd and fans are a little wild for my taste - teehee. Your picture did remind me of the parkway. I remember being a little scared at first cause of all the curves, twist and turns on the motorcycle but after awhile I found it soothing in fact started to doze off. We have also rode to Cherokee which is another scenic ride.

Candie - Did you get to relax outside w/ your book today?

Jasmine - Glad your car is in tip top shape. What movies did you watch?

Sahalie - Thanks for noticing my avatar. I have a passion for lighthouses.

Faith - Happy you got some time for yourself and the drama has tapered off. I have to agree w/ the others - Wonderboy has the most gorgeous blue eyes.

Did anyone watch Survivor last night? I am still in awe of the power play on voting out Ozzie - too funny.

    Wings,

That's a beautiful charming light house and facility.

I hope you do take them up on volunteering and get to stay in it then tell us all about it.

    It's so neat.

Yeppers I did watch Survivor last night and Ozzie's boot from the crew was a work of art.

There he was smirking at everyone making little remarks and Wham he was broadsided.

And he had the idol.  Foolishness.

    Now we have a game.

Who thinks James is next Cool

We have "beach power" and "girl power" here and the girls proved to play a really good game last night on Survivor.

Ya just gotta love Murphy. I've already lost so many rounds to him on this short-hop trip, that I figure he won't tax me beyond redemption --- bringing the kids tomorrow, just wouldn't be right.

My roadie friend who was to do the driving, keep me company etc wasn't able to come @ the last minute. We were to meet a friend from up here for dinner @ she couldn't come at the last minute..... so I changed my plans & went first to tomorrow's site, only to discover that the warehouse folks left to major boxes out when they packed my car...... then my room @ the Hilton wouldn't let me on the Internet & I spent an hour on the phone w/techies.... but now they've put me in the penthouse floor -- so maybe that's ok!!

Wonder boy does have incredible eyes... of course I've always thought that, but it's interesting to hear you weighing in agreement.

Mine are very dark brown... his mommy's are very bright blue. I used to have people tell me all the time that they 'knew' she was adopted as it's impossible to get blue from brown. Hello? Recessive!!

I learned not to attempt to argue or educate folks on the street and in grocery stores. It was always pretty funny to me.

So now all will go swimmingly well tomorrow, since all goofy things went poorly tonight! They have a tech man assigned to me, so I'll sleep well with that thought. OH, they are gonna video the whole 4 hours!! She asked for permission today..... maybe just as well I didn't have a lot of time to think about that ahead of time. It's for their staff people unable to attend. They have 3 cameras to splice together.... starting to feel my diva status growing: LOLOLOL!!

If all goes according to "plan" (hahaha) I will be back to DDs tomorrow night for splash-time and a big hug.

Hugs from A to Z and back again!!

Good morning Beach Friends.  Its a gorgeous Saturday here so I'm going to post and run.  Gotta get out and enjoy the day.

Here's a song to get you out of that bed you sleepyheads.  Get those feet on the floor and dance.

    Surprise song of the day!

Just wanted to quickly say hi to all my beach buds.

Sahalie, my fundraiser is for an organization that benefits underpriveleged kids in my county.  In my county, in 5th or 6th grade kids go to an outdoor science camp for a week, I remember going as a kid. I guess it's over $200 for kids to go now and a lot can't afford it.  We are the only organization that provides scholarships so kids can go.  We also provide teddy bears to fire and police departments and hospitals to give to kids that are in traumatic situations and we provide restaurant gift certificates and movie tickets to kids that are living in temporary housing, they've been pulled out of their homes and put in group homes.  So that's our three projects and the fundraiser next Saturday night is to raise funds for them.

Faith, babies will wait til you get home.  Hope the taping goes well.

Mid-west ladies, I just never think of the mid-west getting earthquakes.  Hope all is well for you.

    Good Saturday morning to all.

Today, I have a baby shower at 1:00 and a Confirmation party at 8:00. It's either nothing or too much some days, isn't it?

Margo, what a great thing that you do. I just love volunteering for things. What a wonderful service your organization provides.

Faith, oh how gorgeous wonder boy is...and those eyes...what a sweetheart!! Good luck for your day today. Well, I predicted yesterday as the twins birthday. Better they stay in Mommy as long as they can.

Iris, you just write so beautiful. Have you ever thought of writing a book of some sort? Love your teddy collection.

Sahalie, love the seahell pic. I collect them...since I was 16 yrs. old and that's a long time...lol. I also collect ducks and salt/pepper shakers.

Wings, yes, I did get to sit outside lunch time, soak in some sun and read. I am reading Bob Newhart's book. Oh,gosh, it so funny and youcould just hear him saying it. I like autobiographies...oh, I collect those too.

Jas, that Beach Boys clip is from over 40 yrs ago...wow...to think I am old enough to remember. Boy, where does the time go.

Neesie, so good to see you. Were you near that earthquake...I sure hope not. That is freaky and I was concerned for all on this website who live near it.

Footprints, good for you doing the Relay for Life. One day I would like to do that. In May, I am volunteering at the Komen Race for the Cure. I will be welcoming/greeting the runners. At least I can help in some way. I am not physically fit enough to do a wlk let alone a run.

Take your time walking...it's not how quick you walk but that you participate.

Have a great day. Great weather here again today...The baby shower I am going to is for DH's cousin. Her MIL is having it at her house, I understand MIL's house is huge. 90 women...wow...must be a big house...can't wait to see.

Well, as the Beach Boys say..."have fun,fun,fun...til daddy takes the t-bird away..."

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie
