Lord, I can only make it through this time if I walk closely
with You. My days are in Your hands. While there are many
things that can happen in life that are frightening or overwhelming,
I know that Your power is greater than all of them. Even when
what I experience is too much for me, it is never too much for
You. Anything I face is nothing alongside Your ability to redeem it.
Lord, I lift to You the things that frighten me most and ask that You
would protect me and the people here I love from them. Specifically,
I bring before You all the wonderful Sisters here, and asked that You
comfort them. I know that my enemy is one of them who "has made
me dwell in darkness......Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me..
..Causeme to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift my soul to You."
Paslm 143:3-4,8
Whatever I need to do to make my path one of safety and peace, show me
how and enable me to do it. Give me wisdom, strength, and clarity of the
mind to here what You are saying tome in the midst of any dark or overwhelming
situation. My my life be a testimony of the power of Your glory manifested
as I walk in the light You have given me. Amen

Debbie I think I would find another Dr.......he doesn't sound like the type that shares what he is thinking. It's YOUR body and you have a right to know what is going on.
It's not gonna hurt to get a second opinion.....that's for sure.

Just recieved a text where a 2 yr was injured needs prayers. God is able he does miracles still.

Oh dear Jo, I am so glad you asked. We all need help sometimes silly! Besides I've had vertigo and it is not fun!!! You will be in my prayers tonight.
FYI- thanks for all the book suggestions, this afternoon I was on the church website, which was just redone and now includes a few links one being Biblegateway. I have started a small notebook so I want keep track of all this good stuff and make notes of questions and what I find out.

Dear Father in heaven, prayers are going up as we ask that you touch our sister, your child, JO. Please cover her with your healing grace and remove all vestiges of illness wherever they attempt to take hold of her body. Many things surpass all of our understanding but we know that you are a wonderful and awesome God who does not wish for any of your children to suffer. We claim victory over this new challenge for our sister JO in your name, Amen and Amen.
Lord Jesus, you came that we may have life and live it abundantly. We have just celebrated again the sacrifice you made for all of us at Calvary. Hi all, hope everyone's weekend went well. Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day here in central NJ.
JO, glad you are better. Will pray that the Lord will take your vertigo and earache away altogether.
Genia, please let us know how the new church went. I haven't moved much but over the years I've found it helpful to go 4-6 weeks straight to really get a feel for a church.

The church was great. Such nice people there.....and friendly too! It isn't a really big church.....but I liked it. It's a fairly new church so it is growing. It was a lot like the church I grew up in.......
JO....I've lived in Ohio for 14 years and had only found one other church I really liked. After going from quite sometime.....Christmas rolled around.....and the pastor asked the congregation for a vote on whether or not they should have church on Christmas Eve or not. That year it fell on Sunday evening. One lady in the church that gave a lot of money to the church said she had company coming and it would be hard for her to attend. So they canceled church......now......isn't the BIRTH OF CHRIST what Christmas is all about? Not company and meals and eating......that all goes along with it, but it shouldn't come first. There were other things that happened along the way.....and the pastor had no control over his congregation. They pretty much ran things......I just didn't feel like that is where I needed to be. So I stopped going. Hadn't found one I liked or felt I belonged to.

My current church I also "visited" for almost a year before I finally joined last year. I was not unhappy with my previous church but this one is much closer, only 10 minutes away. The last one was about 30 minutes, not really far, but it was difficult to get up there during the winter months in bad weather for evening services, evening Bible Study, other evening programs - I'm not one for church only on Sunday morning. We have both Christmas eve and Good Friday services which are fantastic. We also have Christmas and Easter cantata's in which I take part in the choir. Another reason for a church that is close or at least convenient to travel to.
My Pastor is truly anointed and his "helpmate" a wonderful wife and child of God. The Word of God comes first and they don't compromise, period.
Did I say I liked my church LOL.

Lord, Thank You that my life is never over here on this
earth til You say it is. And when that time comes, I will
see You face to face and dwell in your presence. Thank
You that You never give up on me, even when I have given
up on myself. I am so happy that You always have a purpose
for me to do great things, When it is time for me to do something
different, help me not to cling to the past or be afraid to move into
the future You have for me. My times are in Your hands, and I
know that I am secure as long as I can walk through them all with
You. Give me strength, courage, health, wisdom, revelation, and faith
for my journey. I trust You to keep the light I need for step I'm on. AMEN
