    Thinking of you Genia and praying that the Lord, our Father and protector, will touch you in a mighty way giving you an inner peace.

    Trials either leave a scar of bitterness and cynicism, or they forge strength, humility, and compassion.  With Jesus as the center of our lives the latter is the truth.

    We love you.

    It is you who light my lamp;

    the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.

    This God--his way is prefect;

    the promise of the Lord proves true;

    He is the shield for all that take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:23

    Please pray for me. I have this severe ache in my whole body, everything is painful, muscle, bones, joints, name it. Besides the pain in my whole body, I experience this chronic fatigue.

    I had bilateral mastectomy Oct. 2008, radiation Dec2008 to Feb 2009. NO chemo, NO hormonal therapy.

    I saw my primary doctor and I had my blood works done today. the results will be in a week or more bec. it takes time for the Vit. D.

    Everybody is blaming it from my radiation but I did not even feel the chronic fatigue while in radiation. And why body aches all over.

    Prayers are needed for Edith.

    Thanks

    Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.  Dear Lord, Creator, Father God, I lift up my sister Edith to your outstretched arms awaiting her faith in you that you are with her.  Lord I pray that she will find peace as she awaits the results of her blood work and that the pain that she is experiencing, physical and emotional, will ease or disappear.  In Jesus name, Amen

    Edith, can your doctor give you something to ease the pain and/or help you sleep while you await the results?

    Father, We reach up to you and ask that you bless Angel40, Genia, Patoo, EWB,                     Jo5 and all the other wonderful people in need of your comfort and peace threw their

    battles. Lord give them strength to stay strong and beat their pains. To remember you

    are always there to replace our pessimism with optimism, fearfulness with hopefulness.

    As Jesus healed the man with the withered  hand, heal our withered attitude and fill us

    with hope, as well as a desire to meet You in the midst of our pain and worry. In Jesus

    name. Amen

    I believed; therefore I have spoken.  With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence.

    All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

    Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

    So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

    2 Corinthians 4:13-18

    Thank You Genia, God bless you.

    My soul, wait silently for God alone,

    For my expectation is from Him.

    He only is my rock and salvation;

    He is my defense;

    I shall not be moved.

    In God is my salvation and my glory;

    The rock of my strength,

    And my refuge, is in God. Psalm 62: 5-7

    Edith, I am so sorry you are having such pain and tiredness. My prayers are with you that the doctors are able to find a reason for it all and are able to help you feel better. Remember to breath, and take it slow, one day at a time!

    EWB & JO,

    Thank you!

    Jo, enjoy your vacation.

    To all thank you very much and I will say a prayer for all of us.

    Lord, still our anxious heart as we seek

                            to understand why.

               Teach us to transform our

                     Suffering into growth.

                     our great fear of tomorrow into

                   Faith in your presence.

                  Our tears into understanding

                         Our discouragement into courage

                 Our anger into forgiveness

                   Our bitterness into acceptance

                                  Our experience with cancer

                               into my testimony

                                Our crisis into a platform

                On which we can learn to help others

    God grant that one day we can embrace this time

    As our friend, and not our enemy.

    Please give us strength, patience,

    understanding and love.

    When faced with a mountain,

    We will not quit!

    We will keep on striving

    until we climb over,

    find a pass through,

    tunnel underneath,

    or simply stay and

    turn the mountain into a gold mine,

    with God's help!

    Lord, I know You have great purpose for me and

    a plan for my life. Open my ears to hear Your

    voice leading me into all that You have for me.

    Align my heart with Yours and prepare me to

    understand. As I am endure the suffering of

    the pain of never realizing what You made me

    to be. Because I hear your voice say, "Well

    done, my good and faithful servant," when I

    meet You face to face, I will listen to Your

    voice now. Please help me to remember this

    when my pain is bad and things are hard. I love

    You Lord. Amen

    Lord, we walk this way by faith knowing that you are our supplier, our comforter and that we can rest in you.  Help us to continue to hold on to that through our pain and all our trials.  We know that we will never have all the answers but we ask that you continue to help us through the Holy Spirit that lives within your children. Amen.

    There is no sorrow, Lord, too light

    To bring in prayer to Thee;

    There is no anxious care too slight

    To wake Thy sympathy.

    Thou, who hast trod the thorny road,

    Wilt share each small distress;

    The love which bore the greater load

    Will not refuse the less.

    There is no secret sigh we breathe

    But meets Thine ear divine;

    And every cross grows light beneath,

    The shadow, Lord, of Thine.     By Jane Crewdson

    Ladies- if I may be so bold to ask- would you all offer a prayer for a friend of mine? She has cancer and has not been doing well lately, there has been talk of bringing in hospice. Her husband is also not doing well physically (not cancer related) and she has been his caretaker. Needless to say things have not been going well, I know she would appreciate prayers.

    Thank you so very much...Elaine
