    I've often wondered why we pray for what we want rather than only God's will.  We had a visiting minister in church today and he put it this way...God has a plan, but He wants us to pray (ask) so we can see His answer to our prayer.  Makes sense this way.  I'm not really trying to tell Him what to do.  I am allowing Him to show his grace.

    Please pray for a friend of mine.  Her name is Joan.  She is a 4 1/2 year survivor.  At her most recent visit, they found a "cyst."  It is not palpable, but it is visible on ultrasound.  She is having it biopsied tomorrow at 12 noon.  Her oncologist thinks it is just a cyst, but wants to be safe.  Keep her in mind for me please.  Thank you.

    Lord, I wait upon You this day. I put my

    hope in Your Word and ask that You would

    fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit and wash

    away all my anxiety and doubt. Shine Your

    spotlight into the dark corner of my soul that

    needs to be exposed.  I know You are a good

    God and love me endless. Help me to remember

    you are always walking with me and to trust your

    hand to help lead me threw and see the light,

    Dear Lord, Please be with Joan tomorrow, As she has her test.

    You know her needs and I pray that it will all be good news. Help

    her to know that many will be praying for her. Bless the Dr and

    help them to help her. You are her best Dr and know all her needs

    So I leave her in Your care. In Your name I pray, AMEN

    Please all you lovely ladies offer up a prayer for a dear lady I met today "Brenda". She is a patient in the hospital where I work and is suffering so.....I spoke with her and got her permission to ask you ladies to pray for her. She has breast cancer and has become quite ill from mismanagement of her care and the devastating side effects of her treatments both chemo and rads.Please pray for her.......she was a kindergarten teacher before she got sick last March and is in very much need of our prayers and support. I told her about this web site......which she had heard of but she stated she never knew what it was all for......I told her support, venting, sharing, getting questions answered....and anything else she might need from a sister......Thank you Elaine

    Dear Father in heaven, Please bless this very special lady, Brenda, She is in need of your

    caring and love threw this very hard time, Help her to see she is never alone and You will help

    Brenda to get  all she needs met, so she may enjoy life again. Please bless her Dr's that they

    will work better with her and get her the help she is needed. Lord, wrap her in your comfort and

    peace so she may rest. In Your name I pray, Amen

    Father in heaven, Thank You for the life You have given me,

    and the eternal life promised through Your Son, Jesus Christ.

    Take my disease away, O God, and draw it to Yourself along

    with my sins, my worries, and my fears, Lord if You want me to

    live, help me learn what I can do to help You bring healing in

    my body. Bless and make wise my doctors and all who tend to

    my needs at this difficult time in my life. In Jesus' name, amen.

    I don't know what it means, but they removed Joannie's whole cyst yesterday and sent it off for biopsy.  She'll let me know when shw gets the results.

    I'll be praying for Joannie and Brenda. 

    This BEAST has to be stopped.....it's everywhere.....all around me, every time I turn around there's a new patient at the cancer center.  The other day there were 4 new patients for rads.  Two with prostate cancer, one with lung cancer and one with breast cancer.  It just makes me wanna cry......don't know if I notice it more now or there are just more and more people being diagnosed.

    O God,  Please take my weary soul, transform it, and renew

    the right spirit within me. Take my pain and the tiredness and

    turn them into pleasure and joy. Remind me of the wisdom of

    Your word, and revive me with the energy of Your love. You are

    the reason in this world. Thank you for Your cool water on my

    parched soul. Bless all my wonderful friends here and help them

    to see the rainbow even in the storm. Help those that need your

    comfort threw their pain. You are a wonderful God, Thank You for

    helping all to see Your light. In Christ I pray. AMEN

    God is love, God is peace and God is our strongest ceherence. When it comes to Him, we, no matter if we suffer or if we are weak, are all the same. In His light of hope we shine and rise and gain new strength to live one day after another until we are fully recovered.

    In this state of life it is our strength of belief in God that keeps us alive. The believing of Him in our lives and souls gives us tremendous power and will to keep our heads held high. I will pray for you all, as I am praying for those who I have lost on cancer. I will pray for every single soul that suffers from breast cancer in this forum every night before I face incapability of sleeping I will close my eyes, inwardly look at Him and pray for our souls to be saved and our bodies to be healed. 

     I wish you all the best and please, in your weakest moments of your life remember one thing you are never alone, He is always at your side and our love and blessings and prayers are too.

    Just an HUGE thank you for all your prayers .....Brenda is doing better and was moved out of ICU...she found something that tasted good among the hospital food choices....."strawberry health shakes".....so I made sure she gets two everyday with meals...I gave her and her family this web site and suggested they join up as you all have helped me so much. Wow, it was such an honer caring for this patient ........HUGS and PRAYERS to all of you

    I was alone threw surgery and chemo alot. But with God help I did it. God bless you

    Prayer warriors..

    Tomorrow is my 1 yr date of DX.

    So far.. no one has remembered this in my family and friends circle.

    If you feel driven, could you offer prayer for me and ALL others deal with the day they heard.." you have cancer,"

    I have scheduled myself to work 12 hours tomorrow for this reason.

    I will be praying for all of us.. and for those of use to heal as we near these days of DX ....

    For those who where alone most of their treatments... for those who hear those word alone...that the Lord is right there with you.. and you feel HIM!

    Dear Lord, Please help Estepp threw tomorrow, I and alot of others know

    how hard it is sometimes to get threw that Dday, Be with her and others

    in need of your comfort and caring arms, Helping them threw and reminding

    them that we are Gods winners. Like You have said in Psalm 27:14, Wait

    on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart. Lord

    Please stregthen Estepp and others  threw these times. We love You Lord and Thank

    Here's prayers going up for you, Estepp.  Think about where you were emotionally one year ago.  He brought you through - Hallelujah!

    Just heard on the news that Farrah Fawcett has died from her BC.  My prayer is that she was a believer and is now with the Master.

    Hi ladies.....just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing.  To all that need them....you are in my prayers.  I don't have to name them individually because God already knows our cares......but I will be praying for you.

    I have 3 more rads tx's to go now.  One tomorrow and two next week.  I'm so happy to almost be done with them.  

    I have a prayer request.  My daughter called me this morning and said the Health Dept had called her and said she had a bad pap smear.   A few years ago before she had her two kids, she had to have a cone biopsy done because of a bad pap.  I was with her and the Dr. said that part of her cervix was white and she was at risk of getting cervical cancer because she already had bad cells.  He also told her she would never be able to have children........she has two........thank God.  I love those grandbabies.  I told her to call her Gyn and get in to see him soon......and let him figure out what to do as far as her abnormal pap test.  It worries me......but God is in control......not me!

    edit-sorry Genia didn't see your post.  I am truly happy that you are almost done.  Look forward to celebrating with you next week.

    Prayers are going up for your DD that the pap smear will be only that, a bad pap smear but nothing more.  I pray that the cells are no worse than they were years ago and will only need to be watched.  We know we serve an awesome God and he is definitely in control.   In His presence our fears will dwindle and doubts dissolved.

    Hi Ladies, I just got an email from here that one of the ladies that talked to

    me alot passed away today. It has been a long week at the DR anyway.

    Dear Lord Please bless Genia's daughter threw her test, That everything will

    come out fine. Please help the family that lost their love one today. Give them

    strength and peace to know she is in no more pain. Be with all the wonderful

    people on this line, They are such a caring group. Please help them with all

    their needs.  Thank You Lord for giving us our daily needs. Amen

    Whether your pain is physical,emotional or spiritual, the

    one constant is: It hurts. Pain takes over and creates a

    bleeding spirit.Your pain is so bad sometimes that you

    cry out to the Lord,"Help me, Help me!"

    God hears your cries, and He is here with you right now.

    He aches with you and aches for you. Jesus is the God of

    healing and hope. When you can barely move forward, He

    is there, walking with you, holding you. He is the relief to

    a life of pain, and is leading you to His healing tonic of love.

    Help them to see that they can climb any mountain with You there.

    Bless Genie  and her daughter, That all is going good. Lord please comfort

    those that are in pain or not feeling well. Bless all the Dr that they will do

    all things with Your guidance. Your are the Great Physician, Amen

    Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for this day that you have brought us through.  Today you watched over us with your loving kindness, protecting us even though we knew not of any danger.  We don't know Lord what awaits us at any point but we know that with you in our lives, as long as we trust in you and follow you we will conquer all adversity.  You are truly an awesome God and I praise and worship your very name. Amen.
