Help those that are in need of more faith and courage to help them threw. I pray
that Genies daughters test came back B9. Please be with all the wonderful

This is a great place ladies. I've been reading the latest posts. Genie I will be praying for your daughter also. I have a question for you ladies. I'm four years out from my BC and one year out from skin cancer. I'm still going though shots every four weeks for four years now. I think I'm just getting weary. Have any of you ever felt distant form the Lord....like where are you? I know that I have to rely on what I know, that He IS here and watching out for me, but I feel distant at times. I just want to feel good again....don't get me wrong, I'm so thankful to still be here and I love the Lord, I'm usually very oppomistic and I don't usually feel this weary.....I guess I'm just having a rough week.
Lord, I know you're there...please reveal yourself to me in a wonderful way that I can see and feel that you are still there watching over me. Help me be your cheerful daughter again so I can share you and our smiles. And Lord please be with Genie's daughter and with Genie, give them the trust that you have been teaching me. Amen

Yes I have, That is when I needed to give my worries to the Lord, I found my Mom passed away
a year before I was told I had breast cancer. I was asking myself the same thing. Then I got a grateful journal started and it help my stay positive. When I got scared I said Satan get behind me, I am a winner.
Lord please give our friend peace and comfort threw this time. Amen

Brenda continues to improve a little every day....and her sister and her niece are so thankful for all your prayers. I felt like I was placed there for her, so the circle continues......I now know even with all I have gone thru that I need to "pay it forward".....what a blessing to have found all of you lovlies....Elaine

Another request - Bette on the April Rads page had a PET scan on Sat and won't know the results until Wednesday. Pray that the test will be good and keep her mind and spirit occupied during the wait.

I have a prayer request for a young man named Jordan. He is 19 years old and is a friend of my son. He was riding a 4-wheeler yesterday and somehow ran into a tree and he has severe head injuries. The doctors did not give his parents much hope last night but he is still with us and his head swelling has gone down. I pray that this is a good sign. His parents are having a tough time and they ask for prayers that their son will have a full recovery. So please remember this young man when saying your prayers. Thanks sisters.....

It always breaks my heart to hear about a child (my dd is 19 so, to me, that's a child) with his whole life before him severely injured like that.

Prayers being sent up now for all those who need them here.
I'm finished with my radiation so hopefully I will get stronger and feel somewhat normal now. Been a very LONNNNNG year.....but so many good things have happened to show me God has been there through it all. I know I couldn't have made it without him and his love and protection.
Thanks also to you ladies.....and for alllllll those prayers you have said for me and my family. You mean the world to me..........love you all

I am so thankful I found this post today. I just need to write out a prayer...so here goes....
Father in Heaven, I thank you for all you have done, all the new people in my life, and all the people that are no longer in my life, because I know it is all for your purpose. God, I pray for forgiveness, for I know I have been a terrible child of yours, especially recently. Lord, as I begin this new journey, I ask that it glorifies you. I ask that I keep my head held high, for YOUR glory, and that I do NOT continue on my self destructive path. Lord I ask that you tenderly hold O2B, Janz, FlFish, REKoz, and Pantufas and restore then Lord, comfort them, and bring them ultimate peace. Thank you Lord. In your son's precious name, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thanks for all of the prayers you said in Jordan's behalf. He has improved to the point that the doctors have told his parents that they feel he is out of the woods and will make it. Do not know if he has any kind of lasting effects. He squeezed his mom's hand today....I told her about all of my BC sisters praying for her son and she said to tell all of you that she really appreciates each one of the prayers because God heard every one .

Lord, I pray before bed that you hold all breast cancer patients in your arms. There is so much fear with us, and so much sadness.. please give us that hug we need and the strength only you can give us. We love you so so much! I even thank you for our trials. Inside, we know they help us get closer to You.

Just letting all of you know how awesome the power of prayer truly is. I just turned 24, literally a little over a week ago. My profile shares more, but my maternal grandmother was lost to this disease before I ever got to meet her, when my mother was just 16. So, when I found one lump, I was terrified.
It's been a long road in a short amount of time, one that has been a rollercoaster, as I am sure many of you know, but praise his Holy name, I do not have cancer.
I am still staying on this site, on another thread, and if it is ok with everyone on here, I would love to stay on this thread too, and any prayers I can offer up for you ladies, I would be more than willing.

Linda that is good news about Jordan. Improving is always a great thing.
Jo hang in there dear. Try yogurt for tummy issues. It helps when doing antibiotics. I am glad you are getting well.

Jane...as far as I know she hasn't even called to make her appt. I swear she's gonna be the death of me........seriously! I can't drag her to the Dr.......but she hasn't even mentioned going to one again. Maybe I do need to remind her.........she has too much drama in her life to worry about cancer......drives me nutso.
