Dear Lord, Please Help us to see you are always with us, You are more powerful than any plan the enemy has against us. Thank You that You will never leave us or forsake us, and that You are always strong in our behalf. " I will lift up my eyes to the hills--from whence comes my help?

My help comes from the Lord who made the heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2, Rise in the Lord,

wait patiently for Him....." Psalm 37:7 Lord please help us all to see that we are winners to You.

Please bless all our friends having treatment of any kind.To remember all you have given

us,And special friends, Genia, Jo, Spar, EWB, Marejo, Patoo and others that help us remember

    When faced with a mountain,

    I will not quit!

    I will keep on striving

    until I climb over,

    find a pass through,

    tunnel underneath,

    or simply stay and

turn the mountain into a gold mine,

    with God's help!

Dear God, As I walk through this life, the culmination of my

journey is to be with You. Help me to remember that You are

holding my hand as I take each step; You are guiding me every

step of the way. Some of these steps may be joyous and buoyant,

filled with good health and happiness and some may be filled with

pain- either from illness, loss, misunderstandings, and other challenges

in my path. You have promised that you are always with me, that Your

peace will always be with me as I travel on my journey. Help me to

learn from every experience I face on this journey. Give me courage

II need to face the unknown and the knowledge to know the meaning

of the lessons in my life. As I walk through this journey of life, I am

    comforted to know that Your rod and staff will prevent me from stumbling;

Your goodness ans mercy will follow me every day of my life and Your

peace will comfort me in sickness and in health. Your healing hand

will deliver me from earthly pain if it becomes more than I can bear.

Thank you for every opportunity I have to let a light shine through me

to help others on their pathway. Whatever the test, I rest in the

knowledge that You are always there and You will always take care

of me and those I love. Thank You for guiding and loving me. Amen

Whether you pain is physical, emotional or spiritual, the one constant is:

It Hurts. Pain takes over and creates a bleeding spirit. Your pain from

even the cancer is so bad sometimes that you cry out to the Lord,

    "Help me! Help me!

God hears your cries, and He is here with you right now. He aches with

you and aches for you. Jesus is the God of healing and hope. When cancer

has it where you can barely move. He is there, walking with you, holding you.

He is the relief  to the pain, and is leading you to His healing tonic of love.

Dear ladies, please pray for my friend Pat. She and the doctor have decided to stop treatment and call in hospice. Please pray for this new chapter in her very long battle with bc, that the transition to this new adventure be easy. I am so very grateful that her family is very loving and supportive. I pray that some thing wonderous happens and another treatment is found to continue her life if it is meant to be. Mostly I pray for her comfort both physical and emotional.

Jo - Thanks for that web site.  I was one of the ones wondering if I would be raptured before I died.

Genia - You should read my rant on the "bitch and moan" site.  There I whine that nobody understands me like you do.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,

And whose hope is the Lord.

For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,

Which spreads out  its roots by the river,

    And will not fear when heat comes;

But it's leaf will be green,

And will not anxious in the coming drought,

Nor will cease from yielding fruit.  Jeremiah 17:7-8

Oh God,  Please take my weary soul,

transform it, and renew a right spirit within

me. Take my pain and the tiredness and

turn them into pleasure and joy, Remind

me with the wisdom of Your word, and revive

me with the energy of Your love. You are the

reason in this world. Thank You for Your cool

water on my parched soul. Amen

Lord, You alone are my guide, my companion, my strength,

and my life. Sometime when I am fighting this cancer, I forget

You are right beside me, So I will walk with you. Finding comfort

and peace, You teach me what I need to learn to be stronger.

Please guard me from the temptation to resign to passivity, negativity,

or anxiety. Surround me with people who care about me and  will

pick me up if I fall. In Jesus' name, Amen

    Hello All,

My name is Debbi, and I was wondering,  if you all had some extra time if you could say a prayer for me as I so need all I can get, I am kind of down and my faith is a little shaky for the first time in my life and the last three years have started to take their toll on me and I will explain why.

You see 3 years ago Christmas day my Daddy died unexpectedly of a heart attack, then my mother who had never lived alone went to pieces and needed someone with her and althoug I was the only child she never wanted growing up I was the one there for her and I did that for 26 months every night I stayed with her and left my own family alone and during that 26 months I continued to go to church, read my bible daily , pray daily sometimes hourly and also continued to try to live my life the way I felt would glorify God I also took in a family members 16 year old boy who needed someone to love him and wanted a family as well as someone he could count on then I was also diagnosed with cancer still my faith stayed strong, all thru Chemo and surgery even after they told it was in my nodes and I would need rads, then I am not sure what happened, Honest I don't, all I know is somewhere between then and my 17 year old daughter who knew right from wrong whom had been raised in church and taught about the bible and Gods word came to me and told me she was pregnant and all of the sudden BAM!! things changed my faith seemed so out of sorts and all seemed wrong in my life and I got scared and now I am trying to recver and My faith is there I know it is but, it is so shaky and I need prayers I am not sure what to do and I feel so alone and feel like I am letting God down and I didn't know where to turn and my church recently had a change of pastor and I do not feel close enough to him to discuss this and really do not want to be judged and I am not even sure if this is the right forum or catagory to post this problem but if you could at least just say a prayer I woul greatly appreciate it.

    Hugs, and Thanks,

    Debbi

Debbi......what you are feeling I'm sure is very normal.  We are humans....and humans tend to ask questions and be angry about situations they can't control.  As hard as it may be....one has to trust that God is working in our lives.  He created us.....he knows the number of hairs on our head.....even the ones that fell out.  We have to have faith that we are right where we are supposed to be......and that God's will is going to be done, regardless of what that might be.

You have been through many trials and struggles.....but dear one....you did not walk through them alone.

I will pray that God lessens your burdens......and gives you the strength to keep fighting.

    Genia

Father, instill in me a reason for hope. Bring, I pray, calm

to the raging storms of my life. I am afraid of the cancer, but

I am not afraid of You. Help me to place my trust not in the

well-meaning doctors, nurses, nutritionist, and clergy who

attend my needs, but in You and You alone. Use them, I

pray, as conduits of Your grace, and bring me healing I know

You will bring me if You so desire. I offer my humble prayer in

the name of the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. AMEN
