Got my vote in Lisa....thank goodness they are still taking them!
Thanks for the ongoing prayers Diane and Jean!! I think I'm staying healed because it has almost been 2 weeks now!!! YAHOOOOOOO! The power of prayer is an awesome thing!!
I found out that my PS's waiting list for exchanges is 9 - 12 months long...I've been on the list sinced Feb 14. He did request the exchange in 3 months (from Feb) but the surgical care coordinator said that was quite unlikely. I spoke with him at a meeting we both attended on Wednesday and he said he'd try to get me in on a cancelleation but that as he operates on Tues and Fri, I shouldn't eat anything after midnight prior to those days and up until 9:30 each of those mornings. I said I'd gladly do that if it meant me getting it done sooner. No coffee until 9:30 was tough - LOL!!! The thing is that I am healed right now and he won't do it if the incision opens up again (infection issues!). I'm hoping that one Tues or Fri soon I'll be popping on here to say I'm done...I'm optimistic if nothing else!! In a way I'm lucky that I work with the PS (peripherally) and have a chance to chat (interpret as complain) to him a bit. Gotta get back to work...glad to spend my lunch with you all!!! LOL

Deborah (Whippet):
Thanks for your help. I am happy with my size now. I do need the width to maintain good cleavage. The PS did a great job with the placement of the TEs and they look good for my frame now. I will tell him to keep things as they are. I do have an appt for next week for another expansion/ consultation in case! I appreciate your expertise!!!!!!
Jax + Elaine - I hope you're feeling well today. You're in my prayerss.
Ladies - You're all so special to me. I thank you for sharing and being so open and helpful. We need a "ladies with foobs + foobs in training reunion!" Georganne

Lisa,
I forgot - you have my vote too! I hope you win. Georganne

Georganne I would say when you think your to the size you like add 50cc for a little over expansion
I was thinking you said when your TE is filled full it should be about 15 by 14 by 6.3
I see Natrell has style 20 in 700cc which is 14.5 by 6.2 projection
So if you like your shape at 600cc in your TE you might want this implant to acheive the same thing
the weird thing with implants is on 1 person it can make them a C and on someone else it can make them a D

opps I missed several post in front of me (Deb's)
Plus Georganne you snuck in a minute before me : - )
I just figured out how I missed you guys...

Hi Jan,
I will be having a skate flap procedure for my nipples on June 17th....so that's 3 months after my exchange was. They are taking the graft from my tummy. He will also do a little more fat grafting for my breasts and then I'm done. I'll get my tattoo's later, probably in the early winter....just in time for a trip to NC or Sarasota to see makeupchick or facecrafter. Can't let anyone tat my nips but a sister!! BTW....Mine was a bilateral mx this past December. Do often miss the nip sensation but my sweetie doesn't seem to mind at all. He just lovin' the old new me. Thank god for the people that love us....makes it alot easier to love ourselves during those blue times.

Kathie: When you have the skate graft transfer - will they do a tummy tuck? Also, how are the fat grafts holding up? What will the additional fat grafts do for you?

Lisa! You and I and Whippetmom (Deborah) need to get together!!

Kathie! I will make the trip for tats with you!!

Oh my...I don't have a tummy to tuck after the initial lipo for my first round of grafts! I don't even have a c section scar. My PS takes from the tummy instead of the inside of the groin/thigh because there is peach fuzz hair there. Although I tease him that one small slip of the knife and I'm doomed to have pubic hair on my new nips...and in the quote of Laura...."eccckkkkk" LOL I can just picture her little self saying that!!
So yes...it is a bit of a tuck in that he needs to pull the skin back tight together. I teased him again that my vagina was going to end up around my belly button.....lmao. Fat graft took famously to one side but the side that had the tumor had more of a "step off" I think you call it, so while my sweetie says it's beautiful and it is not noticeable in clothes or unless I force someone's eyes right to it....you really don't see it. But alas, we have gone through so much that I am willing to tolerate one more round for near perfection. He thinks that will take, And honestly, He did say he thought I would need more at my nipple surgery before he even did the exchange. Honestly, I'm not sure where there is any more fat to harvest from, but my friends have lovingly offered to line up!! He doesn't need as much this time.
I still have nerve pain but I'm very pleased with the results so far. I have cleavage to beat the band and a flat belly. If you're thinking of the grafting, I would recommend it as well as the skate flap. I think the recovery is a little more but the ensuing tummy tuck I've heard is worth it to most. But oh well, we're all so alike but so different. I can send you more pics if you'd like.....Loraine can vouch for the results too as she has been my "so what do ya think" picture recipient...LOL. I'm too shy to post on the forum but have been willing to share with a few trusted souls!!!
Take care...nice to see your sister floating around on the forums....you guys must have driven the boys in your school crazy...you're both very beautiful.

KMMD, Thank you for your honesty, it is a relief to know that I should have 2 similar size lumps ; ) You brought up a subject that I have thought about, but never when I am reading the posts. I want to keep all sensation in the breast I have left, do you lose sensation when they do the augmentation on the natural side? I understand that they go in around the edge of the areola and this was a concern for me. The fact is that the exchange needs to be done, but I would seriously think long and hard about a "nip lift" if it took away sensation. I am fortunate to have a breast that so far hasn't been affected by BC, so I am going to hang on to it for as long as possible. You never know with my history, it could go the way of the other one. Sam 1991, I hadn't thought of going to a "sister" to have the tattoo's done, I am thinking this could be a vacation/celebration of a job well done. I want someone who knows what they are doing since I would like the tatted side to look something like the natural side. I am amazed that you came up with this idea. Is this a common plan to vacation and get the nips done? Is there a recovery time after the tattoo? My DH and I would love to visit NC as he is into wooden boats and boat building and depending on time we could do something like this. I have never been to Sarasota either, will have to look up to see where that is. There is so much to know, and you are so right that my DH loves me not just the parts. We are so blessed to have so many compassionate sisters in this very unique "club". Jan

Jan...
Fairy49 (Lorraine) is up for the nip road trip. Actually she and I have met and my son is going to Chapman University in the fall. I know Earleen will make the trip if we pay for her expenses. Since I'll be in OC quite often as Sam will be playing football and Lorraine lives in Hungtington Beach, maybe it would make sense to fly her to us. Although I'd certainly be up for a sister tat vacation too as I will be leaving my relatives in August to move to Seattle.
I'll be the first nip girl among the 3 of us and would be willing to wait for you gals to catch up...hee hee. We can make it common place...LOL. I just think a sister knows better than my PS for tats!!

Jan I think sometimes when they add a implant to the healthy breast they open you up at the base of your breat and not by the nipple
When I had mine done I had a lift and implant done
When they do a lift they make the nipple smaller which I didn't realize
I think I have most my sensation but it might have changed just a touch

Kathie, Jan, Lorraine:
RE: EARLEEN - MakeupChick....and areola tattoos.........
I have talked with Earleen in the past about getting a group of people together who will fly her to Los Angeles and pay her airfare. We could do this at my house in Long Beach [Naples/Belmont Shore area]. So PM me if you have an interest. I am in no hurry for my tatts...I want to wait until all final revisions are complete. I am looking at no earlier than October - after the Las Vegas trip - but I can wait as long as necessary.
So PM me if you are interested in being part of a Tattoo Group. Here is the link to Earleen's work: You will need to scroll down for her photo gallery.

Oh....and Lisa....perhaps you want to join us in the Tatts for Titts group....
Lisa - Just TRY getting together with Lorraine. Oh, she talks a good talk, but as the most coveted wedding coordinator in Southern Cal, she is awfully difficult to pin down.....

Deborah,
You are really close to me! We will have to try to get together for lunch or something! I'm new to this thread....not even doing an exchange LOL! Jax invited me so that I could get votes LOL!
but, maybe I'll hang out here!!! I did a DIEP reconstruction, starting rads in Mid May. Then will need phase II of DIEP and tatts!!! I will look for the tatts for tits group! And....I may be interested in Earleen doing my tatts!
thanks!
Lisap.s. I didn't know that Lorraine was a wedding coordinator....will have to read over pages of this thread sometime

Lisa....no, no, no...I was kidding. There is no Tatts for Tits thread....I was just making that up...I meant to invite you if you were interested in joining those of us who might want to bring Earleen here for group tattoos. And this is one of the hottest threads on bc.org....and you are welcome to hang with us...

Deborah.....you are FUNNY! I hadn't gone looking for the tatts for tits group yet but I would have LOL! I'm usually not quite so gullible! My mind is on my Dodger bat girl contest and I'm on the computer voting for myself over and over LOL!. I'm brain dead!
Anyway, I may join in on the Earleen thing.....but don't know what my timing is. Depends on how I do during rads and how long till my phase II surgery is scheduled. I'm also having my ovaries removed. So many surgeries....so little time!

Hello ladies! I am back . . . went to ND to take care of my parents for nine days and was swamped at work when I returned. I would like to welcome the newbies, to congratulate the new softies (exchanges), to thank the "educators", and to encourage those facing challenges. You are all in my prayers.
I am almost two months post exchange and most of the time, I think the new girls look just fine, especially when wearing a bra. Then, I will see someone with a nice set of breasts (usually a woman!), and I just ache for my old sick, cut-up (seven biopsies prior to BL MX), flat as pancakes, breasts. Isn't that just the dumbest thing!
Just one question tonight. . .do the nerves regenerate at all? I am still very numb at and near the incisions. Thanks! Sharon

Okay today I found out something...my PS's receptionist told me that he ordered Allergan 410 Biodimensional Cohesive Gel, Low Height, Extra Full Projection (27-LX 135-405) 13.5 x 11.4x6.2 - is this good/bad...I have no idea!!! Help Sandy and Deborah!!! I am 5'8", 159 lbs and wear a 34D now and I would say my old Saggy Aggy is a low flying girl...what are you true thoughts on this??Are these gummy bears? I am so clueless.
0 -
Jan, yes, my PS told me there was a small chance of losing nipple sensation on the aug side. Because we talked about it and I was worried about it, she did the incision at the bottom crease of the breast instead of at the nipple and was very careful to stay away from where the nerves come in when creasting the pocket for the aug. I would talk to your PS about it ahead of time.

Yvonne- Yes those are gummy bears. Allergan 410 is the gummy. I'll let the other girsl answer the rest. Sounds like great projection...! JUDY

Boy; the Tatt's for Tit's byline is a great one! Way to go Deborah, you are too funny. Seriously, I did private message you about wanting in on this shindig if it comes about. If there are "sisters" that want to join in and don't live in Southern CA and don't want the cost of a hotel, I could offer a place for 1 or two to stay. I don't know how many ladies Earleen could tattoo?, but what a get together this would be.
Sandy, thanks again for the information. I think my PS stated he would do the lift by going through the areola. I am going to double check at the pre-op appointment and verify this. I want to keep as much sensation as possible.
KMMD, thanks for letting me know how your PS did the procedure and your outcome. I too want to keep the sensation if at all possible, thanks for the advice, it will be heeded. Jan
