Posted my intentions on intentions thread & have 4/28 on my calendar!
Theresa - you had me laughing about the monk hammering!
I think my brother goes to the same monastery to buy fruitcakes and other things they make. He said they rotate monks for 'store duty' - and that's the only time they speak (based on their vows).Sheila - I'm usually up early every day! I saw your post and happened to have another apptmt today to aspirate seroma. I asked surgeon whether it helps prevent LE (I read that also on another thread). She said "I don't know that that's true." She didn't elaborate much as she was running very late - hour & half past my apptmt time!! So not sure if that means there just haven't been any studies. Mine is still there - another 20 cc today. She said at 5 weeks it should resolve soon and see if I can wait two weeks this time (instead of next week) unless it starts stinging again. She said same thing you did - that altho low, there is a risk of infection. I'm also getting some cording because I stopped the arm exercises thinking that was aggravating seroma! So she gave me script for PT again. AGGHHH. You can't win at this game!!!! Maybe PT would help you too??? And....get some sleep girl! We gotta get your body clock back in the right time zone

Theresa for those that are new, may be your description of who what when where why on a novena may be good update Also, the significance of being able to have both sets of Intentions taken right to the shrines. Theresa will you be putting the novena prayers here or on the prayer page? Slept a little, but it's MN and up again.

JV-----------thanks for your thoughts. Insomnia does interfere with life 24 hrs. I am making adjustments , but do not want to do too fast because then the culprit may not be found. I do have trouble adjusting to the time change each time it happens-spring worse than fall. I have deleted one drug, but have to give the body time to pick up making it again-that's norvasc and the I can go after propranolo next That was the last drug added so I'm very suspicious of it. Propranolol at the dose i'm on is for PTSD . I just have to be patient
Does your doc have you doing any mild compression on the side of the seroma.for example, sleeping on that side. to put pressure on it.---Ask her next visit.
Are you taking any meds that can prolong bleeding time, like aspirin Nsaids, omega 3 oils flax/fish.

Dear sisters,
I just flew back on Friday night, still recuperating from jet lag and the griefing. I want to thank you all for your prayers and your thoughtfulness. Seems like everything is surreal to me and I am having trouble concentrating, like I'm having ADD (attention deficit disorder).
I'd like to add my prayer intentions too (if it is not too late):
1): my mother will rest in eternal peace, be together with my late father and late brother.
2): our mortgages will get modified favorably.
3): family's good health
4): all the intentions will be fulfilled here
5): world peace
6): irradication of cancer
7): bless the soldiers protecting our nation
8): God please stop child abuse and heal the victims.

I wrote to the mods and made several suggestions-----I watch far too many Forencics programs. Don't delete and don't respond. The mods are evaluating situation with the Tech/Geeks. If we delete the letters until they are ready to do something with them . We may be deleting EVIDENCE. So, just let them hang there until we hear from mods. This could be VERY INTERESTING. Hope we catch these really bad buggers.

Shelia, do you know the date we will be stating our novena for the Lady of Fatima. I am going to Virginia Beach May 12-17th. I just want to make sure I get our intentions there on the first day or the day before our novena. Let me Know.

Laura it just started this week--------My asseessment is the started on a thread . then followed people thread to thread. I did not get one until I went to a certain thread then I got one. Today when I open the computer I had four. Forensically, I think we have a problem. Since there are people that believe in Alternative treatments which is their right , these BCO sisters are a target for non scientifically based treatments, that could put them in danger. I have advised Mods as such. Only within the last hour. I had sent a previous memo that the FDA> FCC< and FBi be contacted-----------sounds radical , but these people gained access to our names and know how to PM us and we got spammed on our PM...........Which is only by mouse click. These are dangerous slammers I hope the Mods are taking this as serious as I tried to point out. If one person takes this stuff-and is harmed what position does it put BCO in if they don't put out a warning.

i"m sure it's before you leaveBY several days and if it isn't we have talked of submitting the same Intentions for both so , it shouldn't be a problem. Essentially everyone should be thinking about what they want submitted to both. That's the way I have written mine. So, after the first print off, see if Sagina can fax or mail a copy to you. Then if their are others after that for the Fatima novena only print off those pages---have your finger posed over the cancel button and only print those that have not been copied.

Good Morning Sweet Sisters,
We had another night of severe thunderstorms last night. It seems it is never going to stop. So many people have suffered damage to homes and property and many in surrounding states have lost their lives as well.
We are supposed to have severe thundrstorms, flooding, and severe tornades today so please remember the people in our area in your prayers today! Please especially remember those who live in mobile homes or homes which are built below standard. Please also remember the elerdly and the children as well for they tend to suffer greatly.

Sandy you are in my prayers, hoping the storms leave just the amount of water you need, and the rest clears up and leaves as quickly as it comes. We haven't had a drop of rain since January....

Betty - The start of the Fatima novena is on the feast day - May 13. But I think you can bring your intentions sooner?
Sandy - we had a bad storm come through on Easter Sunday and are calling for more tonight and tomorrow. We've had more than enough rain! I wish we could share with Gina!
Janet - yes, it must be the same monastery... Holy Cross Abbey? It's in a beautiful situation at the foot of the Blue Ridge along the Shenandoah. I've been to retreats there and it's wonderful. It used to be Brother James who alway ran the gift shop, but he was very old, so I wonder if that's why they have the other Brothers take turns.

Here are the intentions that were posted here and not on the Catholic Intentions page... I think. If you need me to modify, let me know. Anyway, I will post them tonight for Gina and Betty to take to their respective places. I'll post the St. Therese novena next so that the early birds can start tomorrow morning. Nine days. It will end on our Friday night prayer meeting on May 6th.

I would also like to add personal intentions.Sandy: my children feel an irrestible pull they cannot resist to become closer to Our Lord, the Blessed Mother, all the Saints, and our faith.
I also pray my children will have continued good health, good jobs, happiness, and will select a Godly mate for their marriages.
I pray my relationship with my husband will continue to flourish and strengthen as God intended.
I pray for all my sisters here and all over the world who are facing cancer of any sort. I pray they have strength to fight this beast and win their battle. I also pray there is not a single one of them who must go without proper medical care that is afordable. I also pray they never feel they must walk this road alone.Traci: i am asking for help to start caring about myself, and i choose to treat my body. i pray for help to join my mind body and spirit, to have freedom from my addictions with food and nicotine.
Gina: That the healing hand of God touch all those that suffer in any way, that they may know His love from the deepest of His Sacred Heart.

Please God, my most sincere prayers for any child suffering from cancer or terminal illness, please allow some of these little Angels to stay here in good health. If you call them home, please help their parents understand their time was meant to be short, and that they will be reunited together and with you.
Lastly, please help us all with financial security and make unknown resources open up for those in need. Please provide protection of our homes, jobs, livelihoods and disability payments.

Thank you Sheila and Anne. Last year she had a massive sinus infection - no fever - that went undiagnosed for 6 months, until she suffered a concussion and had a cat scan in an ER. She was at a private university and they took such good care of her, she's at a state school now, no where near the level of customer service, but then again no where near the tuition.

I am praying your daughter is fine and that her headache has been successfully relieved! I know you are worried and pray for both of you.
My prayers are also for all the people affected by the terrible tornados in the South yesterday and last night. My Godson and his family live in Alabama and I have yet to hear they are safe. Please remember them - Eric, Jennifer, Lauren, and Aden - in your prayers. Phone lines are down and we aren't able to connect with them just yet.
We were spared so much destruction here in Nashville this time, Praise be to God, but many are dealing with flooding. Jerry and I are safe and dry but please remember those who are not so fortunate.

She left the ER at 3 am and called me. The CAT scan showed nothing, thank God! But she left still with the headache. She comes home for two weeks in May, will get her in with her regular doctors....perhaps migraines starting? Thank you all for your prayers. Will print out intentions this morning and taking them to the Basilica on my lunch break.
