Today, let's pray for all cancer patients and others who are suffering once more. Let's pray that their lives -- that all of our lives -- will glorify God alone. We do not exist for any other reason. Let's pray that we all live for our true purpose: for Him.
Also, if you experienced an answered prayer during this novena, please share it with us all here:http://www.praymorenovenas.com/blog/answered-prayers-st-peregrine-novena-cancer-patients-2015
Here are the novena prayers for today:
Day 9 (January 27th) - Saint Peregrine Novena for Cancer Patients Dear holy servant of God, St. Peregrine, we pray today for healing.
Intercede for us! God healed you of cancer and others were healed by your prayers. Please pray for the physical healing of…
(Mention your intentions)
These intentions bring us to our knees seeking your intercession for healing.
We are humbled by our physical limitations and ailments. We are so weak and so powerless. We are completely dependent upon God. And so, we ask that you pray for us…
Pray for us, that we will not let sickness bring us to despair.
Pray for us, that we may persevere in hope.
Pray for us, that we will have the courage to offer up our suffering in unity with the Cross.
Pray for us, that the loneliness of our suffering will be consoled.
Pray for us, that the fear of death will be replaced with the hope of everlasting life.
Pray for us, that our suffering will not rob us of joy.
Pray for us, that in our pain we will not become selfish but ever more selfless.
Pray for us, that this sickness will teach me to depend more and more on God.
Pray for us, that our lives will glorify God alone. We know, St. Peregrine, that you are a powerful intercessor because your life was completely given to God. We know that in as much as you pray for our healing, you are praying even more for our salvation.
A life of holiness like yours is more important than a life free of suffering and disease. Pray for our healing, but pray even more that we might come as close to Our Lord as you are.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be. Amen.

Prayers for Grammy and Penny and all who are undergoing treatment. The 31st will be the first anniversary of the "I have bad news, it is malignant cancer" speech from my primary care. What a year it has been...Not as good as I would have liked, but not nearly as bad as I expected......

This is the closing prayer that the Pray More Novenas Website always shares the day after a novena. If you are interested, the link to their website is at the top of each day's prayer in the novena, and it is Pray More Novenas Website. They pray a number of novenas throughout the year, and send the novena prayers directly to your inbox each day during a novena.
At the end of every novena, we always pray the following as our final prayer. Please join us in praying it today! Now, Let us pray...
Dear Lord Jesus, I have specific requests that may only partially fill the infinite needs and desires that are in my heart. I ask that You answer me not only for those requests but also for a greater reliance on You to satisfy the needs and desires that You have given me.
Please grant the prayers of all those who prayed this novena with me. Bless them with Your love and make them holy!
May I seek You with a sincere heart knowing that it will profit me nothing if I gain the whole world yet lose my soul.
So, help me to see Your good and gracious purpose in all my trials. Help me to see Your blessings in every day and help me to love You more.
Thank You for everything, Lord Jesus!

feelingfeline- Ronnie-Kay- Penny- reheaded1- I am now awaiting of them scheduling a repeat chest CT since it over 6 months. Had good vibes from this new MO . Young and trained at UM and Tufts so like that. He seems open to discussion too, which my old one was not. Anyway he thinks possibly arm pain related to some LE or neurological as the rest of my body and labs look good.
Of course I put all the Glory in God and now he watches over us all.
PatMom- thanks for posting Novenas. Amen !

Prayers, GrammyR. Please keep us posted.
Please include me in your prayers on the 9th. I'm having Y90 embolization done to the left lobe of my liver. I had the right one done last month. All was fine except recovery. The pain was tremendous - worse than childbirth. Thanks.
Prayers for all,
Penny

Prayers for both Penny and Grammy. Sounds like we all need to gather for a "pocket party" for Penny on the 9th. When you undergo this, you will remember we are all in "your pockets" or somewhere under your gown, etc. as you do this. Me,personally, I like to hang off that big light fixture in the procedure room...HA0 -
Penny- so sorry you had to deal w/that pain. One down one to go- make sure they give you lots of pain meds . Prayers for next one w/less pain and success in halting things. I have my CT chest and abdomen Feb 10 so am praying for stable report.

Penny & Rene, my angel has an evil twin, so you will each have one with you. You should feel her get there, she's known to give you a little shiver or goosebumps when she arrives. And that's how I know when she comes back to me.
Jerseygirl, HER + is usually some chemo. But it might not be more than 4 treatments. I'd give it a whirl if I were you. Beats having it pop up someplace else later and wishing you'd tried it. But you get yourself some good opinions from the best you can find out there on the east coast, and do what you think is best for yourself. I will pray about it and for all you gals having appointments this week. I see my Radiation Onc on Thursday for my first check up with her since finishing my rads at end of May last year.

Thanks to all my Christian sisters! Biospheres done. All we can do now is wait and see what the next scan shows. Thanks be to God for getting us thru all this. I didn't have as much backpain in recovery because he put a metal clip on the right femoral artery so I only had to be on my back 2 hours, instead of 4. Good things happen when you give the day up to The Lord! :-)
Prayers for all,
Penny

Happy for "only" 2 hours of staying still, Penny Let the healing begin & health restored!!!! Hope rads went well for DH, Feline & Rene...hope to hear the all clear signal! Thanks to God for working overtime :-). My beautiful priest, Father Ryan, announced Sunday, that his sister has a very aggressive form of cancer...she just lost her husband of 53 yrs recently. His homily was about looking at the gift of healing...rather than only focusing on a cure (my simple paraphrasing). It was a beautiful talk...expressing the different aspects of healing in our lives...my heart is full every time he speaks. I pray for healing for all...wherever it's needed

Ronnie-Kay - a huge thanks you for taking me to my scan today, you are indeed a kind person and am blessed to have you as a friend. Always thinking positive . I will keep praying and await the reports. Do not see my MO until Feb 25 but feel sure if bad news I will get a phone call. I think I may be able to access my report on my medical chart online. Still will think good things unless I read or hear differentRedwolf- Am praying for your continued improvement and less pain. ( St Michael the Archangel Novena) started today- Amen. I again prayed the rosary during my CTs but lost track every time the machine said " take a deep breath then hold it " -. Kinda hard to pray while holding your breath- ha.
feelingfeline- I had to return to my note re- my grandson as I forgot what I wrote ( my did chemo do a number on my brain-ha). Hoping your weather is not too severe over there. No snow here but my oh my the rain is never ending. Am including you and hubby in my Novenas.

Grammy R---maybe praying the rosary during CT scans is like praying it in bed when you fall asleep---The angels finish it for you! I prayed it during my radiation treatments....I had the sensation of falling during my 2nd rads and it freaked me out for the remaining 26 sessions........can't say enough about the power of prayer and contemplation.....although I tried, I never mastered "centering prayer" found out I can't sit still very long......If you 've ever tried it, you will know what I am talking about....0 -
Thanks for prayers for DH. All good so far. He is 3 days into the rads today. As he finishes on Wednesday of Holy week it makes Easter look extra specially attractive this year.
Signs of spring abounding here. Birds getting up earlier, staying up later. Longer daylight. Daffodil spears appearing.
