Good nite all...I'm praying and trying to make sense of the fatigue and all.  Thanks for all the prayers.

I've been praying for our group in the morning.  What is the plan for Friday?

will be taking the 7pm shift PST tonight.

I have added all the names to this thread for you own intentions plus several family member and friend requests. If there are any other special intentions Please let me know today!

I am feeling stronger and better today, I think it is pure lack of sleep that gets me down.  I will get little sleep, then feel physically bad, then I start thinking of BC, then I come here for solace and I read other threads as well and hear of so much pain, then I get more down. the after math of BC is s a viscous circle, you can read about it all over these boards. Women feeling so down and physically hurting. Soooooo. I will return to the prayers and faith that has gotten me through each time. Blessings to all of you ladies this beautiful morning. The blessing today that is in this moment we are ok and have much support!

    mmm5,

You do sound much better :) I understand the sleep issue, as I tend to feel like I pulled a college exam week all nighter much of the time now.  It feels pretty bad, and that was my yesterday.  Excellent reminder to take good care of ourselves. I think there should be "sleep resorts" where anyone who has been through cancer treatment (all forms) can go and sleep on a memory foam bed, in little cocoons, with soft breezes from the ocean wafting over us. There would be Angels by each person's soft bed standing watch. The beds would actually be "floating"  so you would think you are are on a cloud. Soft music would permeate the air, and would provide nutrients for your body was you breathe in and out.

yes, I am tired, and wish I could sleep all day!

I looked up the Time Zones, so for Easter ST, I will be here at 10:00 PM.

Have a wonderful day Sisters, I look forwards to being with you in prayer.

    Squid,

love the imagery.  BTW, a few posts ago you quoted a priest in a collar, and I read it as if you were talking--so that is why I thought you might be "official"  LOL

Saw this today and wanted to share.  God bless us all. Sisters! xo

    Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:
    If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
    (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NIV)

    lovemyfamily,

I also thought it read as if I were wearing the collar..but I'd out myself pretty quickly as I am not very learned with the Bible. I do have books that help me navigate the Bible, however, so all is not lost :)

I had a friend help me out yesterday, and it got so bad I finally asked.  I think we might be surprised at those who are at the ready, that we don't even know about. Thank you for sharing.

    Blessings for your day.

Is it @ 10 p.m. Est. tonight?  I will try to pop in too.. The Power of Prayer sisters!!

I'm not giving in to my bad report, because I know our Lord is mighty and bigger than my disease.

My friends mother phoned me yesterday in the a.m. and felt she was called to do an annointing for me. She reminded me our Lord is in the miracle business and felt a strong calling for me. I'm ready!

Love my Family, that passage is lovely. We're all here for one another.

Thank you for picking me up sisters. In Jesus' name. Amen!

    Hello sistas,

I will also pop in to the 10pm EST (7pm PST) but not 100%.  But please know that I've said prayers for this group in the a.m.

Traci, do you have a prayer selection yet?  If yes, can you please post the sequence of how we will have it said?  Thanks for rounding us up :)

    Jan!

    So nice to "see" you!

Paula...and all.  Would you like to post a prayer in addition to the St. Peregrine?  Or we could use the same prayers as last week.  I am going to have to do more study before I can recommend any prayers.  I will sit back and enjoy what you all bring to the table.

    see you soon,

    traci :)

    SAME AS LAST WEEK

    Prayer for Healing

Jesus, you are my deliverer, the true physician who comes all the way from heaven to visit the sick.  I put myself into your hands.  Help me to resolve to put all my trust in you alone and to patiently undergo any treatment.   If you will not heal me, my Savior, my case is beyond hope.  But if I am to be healed, it is you, Lord, who will heal me.   You alone uproot the sickness and give me lasting health.  You are my salvation and life, my comfort and glory, my hope in this world and my crown in the world to come.  Amen.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine for Remission of Cancer

Saint Peregrine, you left a life of comfort to dedicate yourself to the salvation of all peoples.  You endured the most painful sufferings with such patience that you were healed miraculously.  With a touch of the divine hand, your incurable leg wound disappeared.

Obtain for us, Dear Saint, the grace of resignation to our present suffering with cancer.  Enkindle in our hearts perfect resignation to what God has in store for us.  But, if it is in God's plan, deliver us, through your intercession with our crucified Lord and our sorrowful Mother, from this sickness that is afflicting our bodies.  If this is not possible, enable us to merit everlasting glory in paradise.  Amen.

Prayer Before Chemotherapy, Radiation, or Other Painful Procedure

O my Savior, who underwent such suffering for me on the Cross with consciousness and firmness, help me as I face this terrible trial and the physical pain associated with it.  Enable me to bear this procedure with some measure of your calmness.  May the radiation that enters my body be as your light so that it is you, O Lord, who heals me.  May the chemicals that flow into my bloodstream be as your saving grace so that it is you, O Lord, who cures my illness.  May the instruments associated with this medical procedure be as your saving hands so that it is you, O Lord, who grants me lasting health.  If I suffer, let me suffer along with you, so that these sufferings may be a sign of repentance for my sins.  Amen.

    Hi ladies-

I offered the above prayers for you all but also found some of my own, and ended with the following verse.

"My Grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you!"

    2 Corinthians 12:9

Mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance." Jude 1:2

I want all of you to have so much, more than just a healing..true mercy for your ailing, peace in your hearts, and so much love you feel light just like above!!

    Have a great evening!

    hello--lost my post URGHHHHH

    LOve to you all.

Been praying for you all week long, back from the cruise. My roommate and I prayed everynight together.  Her type of prayer is talking to God, then I would say Hail Mary's , then we would finish together with an Our Father.

WE were thrown toghether at the last minute. But the commonalities were amazing  We both lost our husbands at 38 years of marriage. She was married June 23 , we were married June 24th.  She's nonjudgemental. Stuck with me me in some of the more tense momments. And we had a blessed time. I haven't tried to catch up on the reading because I have many posts to make , but will be back and you all were in my prayers each night. L&H Namaste sheila
