Thanks Ruth, Guess I'm trying to do much too soon. Better today with my streching.

Martai, I remember a couple times early on that I overdid things and scared the heck out of myself thinking I had really, really screwed things up (which thankfully I hadn't). It will come back, although it will take longer than you want it to, and you might do some things differently (I don't do a exercise bike or elliptical for more than 15 minutes at a time because that repetitive motion still bothers me).
Lilac, I am beyond horrified with what is going on here......on many fronts.....
No Zoom classes today, I'll walk and do some sort of toning DVD. Our weather continues to be gorgeous and everything is startlingly and wonderfully green.

More lilacs

Marta: I know how scary that is. Glad your armpit is better today.
edj: I admire your fortitude.
LB: I bet your classes are the BEST! And you're right, it is crazy here on so many levels.
Ruth: The lilacs are gorgeous!
We've had rain, rain, and more rain this past week. Yesterday was only cloudy so I was able to get my walk/run in and later 30 minutes of mowing before it became too dark. My mower broke so dh and I had to share his mower to finish the yard today. I got out lucky and only had to mow for 40 minutes. He's outside now doing the rest of it.
While it rained I painted. My side of the family has been going to the beach together for 31 years. This would have been the 32nd year but we cancelled due to the virus. My sister decided that my brother, my other sister, and I need to send beach momentos to the kids (who after 32 years aren't kids anymore lol). Luckily I had some large cockle shells that I had collected so I painted them. I painted tic-tac-toe boards to be played with little shells for my brother and sisters (everybody needs a tic-tac-toe board lol). The fish one is a windsock and it's for my brother. He designs and makes his own windsocks and kites. We look forward to seeing his new creations every year.

Those are so cool, Wonderland!

Got my exercise by hanging out the laundry and puttered around the yard.

Zoom Yoga and walking. My fitness center is offering some in person classes; in big spaces, registration only. I am not comfortable with doing that yet, so will stick with Zoom for awhile anyway.

School is out for the summer!!!! And today, I'm not sure what day it is (LOL). Think we got the best of the weeds done in the yard - till more grow. Unfortunately, the petunias I planted a couple weeks ago aren't faring well. Was thinking of a box garden but now i've lost interest. Waiting till petunias go on sale 50% off to buy more. We still need a few more plants in the front zeroscape. One we bought isn't doing too well.
Stay safe everyone.

Beautiful day yesterday here on the shoreline of RI. Windy though. Sooo much yard work done. Looks so nice. Armpit area much better, not so sore. Still tire easily. Did manage to get in 2 nice walks totaling 7 miles. Feeling good. Have a great Monday everyone.

Marta, reads that is is going in the right direction for your surgical side.

Walked/ran today. Will be pulling weeds shortly. Lots of weeds bc of all the rain we had last week.

Dog walking & Zoom Zumba. I almost ended up going for a swim. When we got out of the car to walk the dogs at a beach, the little Dalmatian jumped from the vehicle, ran into the water and started swimming away! I didn't think she'd drown but was afraid her legs would get tangled up in the leash. I was taking off my shoes to wade it when she decided to return to shore. Never a dull moment!

Oh dear 😜 Ruth!
I'm on an hour zoom Polstar Pilates workshop later, focused on Pilates and lower back pain, yet first I'll walk and yoga class online.

PAfter months of lagging behind I did my first 5k in MONTHS!! It has taken forever to get be back here! I hope to be able to keep making post like this! My plantar fasciitis is still annoying. It's just my left foot. I found some really good insole made just for plantar fasciitis and they seem to help. That and icing it daily I will go back areas dallnthe post o knew if I took the time to read them all I wouldn't post!

WTG Vargadoll! Glad you found some good insoles. I had plantar fascitis years ago and good insoles and daily icing is what helped me also.
Walked/ran in the early afternoon.

Walked for about an hour and did Zoom Barre Sculpt.

Good morning all,
Yesterday I was actually able to play 9 holes of golf!!!! My axilla right arm was a little sore but so much better. Can't say that for my game. I haven't played since being diagnosed in July of 2019. It felt soo good to walk the greens and feel good. Things looking up. Also walked my aka (beast) 80 pound golden x 2. I was on a high last night

Did I already mention school is out for the summer!! It just feels weird this year since I haven't been in a building since March. I have volunteered for a couple projects, one is due in a couple weeks. I guess it will keep me out of trouble.
Doing work around the house. Have cleaned out the most of the kitchen cabinets and drawers - the donate pile continues to grow. Still lots to accomplish.
Managing 3 walks/day. Need to get out earlier in the morning as it has been hot. IN the afternoon, the cloud cover helps.
Martaj - good for you on golf. The only golf I've ever played in miniature golf - and I wouldn't call that golf. I used to ski but haven't going on 15 years - so nice its ride my bike (a cruiser) thought not often and walk.
Varga - congrats on the 5K
Ruth - that Dalmation is really giving you a run for your $
Mommy - I should hang out my laundry more often - I remember the laundry line as a kid - ours is 3 lines between 3 poles in the yard. Once in a while, we'll hang a few shirts out, but I should do the sheets. Towels don't get soft enough to hang out. The sun in Colorado sure is hot enough, even in the winter.
Ruth - gorgeous lilacs
Wonder - you are so talented.
Have a great day!

Karen, one of my teacher friends just retired, and said it was such a disappointing way to end her career.
The Wednesday Walking Women are still trying to social distance while being together.

More strength work, gosh it's boring saying that over and over again.
Although I did find a three week series of workouts with a broken foot (did I share that already?) She's got a YouTube channel if you're interested, called 5th Journey.

Ouch edj3! Hope you heal quickly!
Ruth- I’m glad you can still walk with your group on Wednesday’s!
Wonderland- I love the bright colors! You are so talented.
Marta-my DH would love to play golf right now. Most of the courses are still closed here.
Karen- I have gotten lots of cleaning done to!
Got my 5k in by 10 this morning. Took the oldest grandson to the 8th grade parade. It was just a drive through. It was bittersweet and I wish his Mom would have been the one to take him. Can’t believe he will be in high school! Finished up the day with a total of 29,404. I want to get out of bed and get 596 more steps

edj, Hope your foot is healing quickly! I read somewhere you can exercise the uninjured foot to help the healing process. Actually exercising anything will help with healing wherever needed.
Martaj, February was not too long ago. Be gentle with the armpit. Good though to be doing weights as lymphedema prophylaxis. I did that as well as scar massage with a physical therapist.
Kudos on 5K by 10, vargadoll. I get 2 cups of coffee by then and get ready for lunch.
Our gym also requires registering for each group class. Salsa begins soon. The theory seems to be that if you cannot social distance or distance doesn't cut it in enclosed spaces, then they need to have your name and contact details for contact tracing. That's not so reassuring for me. Been biking, hiking and dancing on Messenger instead.

Worked in the yard this morning, walked enough to get 10,000 steps this afternoon, doing Zoom Yoga in a few minutes. Some of my favorite classes have gone back to the gym (limited class size, pre-registration required etc.). Yikes, I don't know. I am pretty leery.....

Good WWW picture, Ruth.
Walked/ran in the morning both yesterday and today. Heat and humidity have definitely returned. Need to get acclimated.

Well, gyms opened here on June 1st. I was doing some personal training at local LA Fitness & my trainer contacted me in re: resuming training. Since I am almost 66, DH is almost 73, not going to a gym until some kind of immunity is available. Imagine I may have a fight on my hands to either suspend or sever my personal training arrangement. They did suspend billings for April & May, though.
Hot & humid here, but lovely and cool in my home (lower level) exercise area. Did Pilates & Relaxation this am. Zumba cancelled today, so will have to do something cardio today or tomorrow. Luckily, looks like my local cancer support community will be continuing their zoom offerings through September now.
edj3 - Hope your foot is coming along and healing well.

A gorgeous day here. Two long walks & Zoom Zumba Strong (which is very hard & which I modified a lot....I was too lazy to do a toning DVD on my own). I'm debating if I should go to the gym for Zumba tomorrow. Yikes!

Record high of 96 today in Denver.
Annual Physical today and in person. EKG normal. Asked for Cardiac calcium test. NP thought this was a reasonable request and wort the referral. She said she had one and so did her husband. I have an appointment Monday at 12:30. Test is not covered by insurance but its only $129 so worth it. The gal tells me there is prep for the test: no smoking, no caffeine (neither and issue and I don't smoke or consume caffeine), no chocolate (can handle this) and no exercise to rev the heart up 6 hours before the test (this is the tough one). So the gal is giving me times starting at 10:30. I told her I was up early in the morning and would walk early, so she gave me a 12:30 slot. I will need to walk and be done by 6:15 to give me some leeway. Can't do without my morning walk. I"m up 5 to 5:30 without an alarm. Labs had to be done at the lab place as their phlebotomist is furloughed. Went to my usual lab. Should have results from labs Monday or Tuesday. I will get an email when they are done as I'm signed up with the labs patient portal.
Good walking day. Over 19K already and we still have one more walk for the day after dinner.
Sweet dreams.

Karen: 96 degrees! That's awful. I'm not looking forward to the 90s. We were 87 today. That's close enough for me. Glad you were able to get a referral for the cardiac calcium test.
Celia: Hopefully you and your trainer can work something out. That's great that your local cancer support group will continue the zoom offerings through September.
Ruth: I've never known you to be too lazy to exercise! Let us know if you go to the gym tomorrow.
Walked early this morning. Not at early as Karen, but early for me as I'm not a early bird!

Got my 5K DVD in early yesterday. Had plenty of time to take the leaf blower and clean up the carport, Veranda, breezeway and driveway. Things are looking pretty outback and we have the pool ready. We've had Random storms with thunder and lightning so the past two days have been a no go for the pool. Hoping today to enjoy it because like Wonderland will be in the high 80s.
Well checking my email on Thursday night there was an email from my oncologist she was trying to reach me and said that my phone number was invalid. I called the cancer center yesterday morning and a nurse called me back. She had no idea why my MO was trying to reach me and she said that Dr. Raab would call me. I had an oncologist appointment last week and had the typical blood draw. My estradiol level has been hanging out around 15 which is still considered peri menopausal. I have been told they want me postmenopausal for three consecutive labs. I figured that the phone call would be to tell me that my labs were finally showing postmenopausal. Well guess again! My oncologist wanted to know if there was anyway I could be pregnant! Apparently my estradiol is 570! So more lab work for me next week. Anyone have the happen
