Since it is exercise related, I will share this meme here. I love it so much!

I saw that video, loved how he honored her. And it looked to me like he did fingerip pushups.

Did steep hill workout with a friend last night, 2.43 miles in 55 minutes. Today I’ll be getting in as much deck rail painting as I can, hopefully a good 7-8 hours, then more tomorrow before the weather turns. Have an awesome weekend

Struck out finding yoga pants with pockets on my shopping expedition, and around here stores are not letting you try anything on these days - then went to pick up my glasses, and they had been sent to a store in a different town. At least the dermatologist visit went well.
Went for a 5 mile walk on the bike path with a friend yesterday, nice to catch up with her - and later today is pickleball, looking forward to that.

Such gorgeous pics, Ruthbru!
I can't believe that Century 21 in NYC is going out of business! My last pair of designer leggings pre-lockdown will be a fitting souvenir of decades spent shopping there. I could still try them on then but thought better of it.
Had a nice long walk with the granddoggy off leash as next week it will be illegal in parks.
I will have to do the maximum number of pushups I can do (15? with slight incline) in honor of RBG. And some planks as well. My hair rises when I think of her being the first woman to lie in state in the Capitol.

Great run early this morning. It's actually colder out now than it was then. Almost record breaking high yesterday as well as record breaking temps this past week. Today if we are luck we will get to 60 and tomorrow low 60s. We were worried it would be hot for Yom Kippur but it will definitely not be hot. Running shoes, not sandals tonight. I will layer, but I might even bring a blanket. We are attending services outside in the courtyard of our synagogue. It was hot the last week-end. The outside services are modified in that we won't be doing the whole service, but I'm grateful that there are outside services as neither DH or I would attend inside.
Got a good head start on my Beginning of the Year Conversation tracker - several pieces are still blank but those are parts that I've never filled in looking over the past few years. I meet with my evaluator on Thursday morning. This will be an action packed week since I'm out tomorrow and Wednesday I have at IEP meeting that is scheduled for 3 hours plus my regular schedule.
Need to go start on my professional development online training that I should have already done. Thankfully the training that I'm doing with 3 other staff has been postponed from this week til the end of October. I haven't looked at it in 2 weeks. I have to first past the test with 100%. The first time I took it, I didn't do so well. Then there are 2 modules about 1-2 hours each and a post test. It is an upgrade to a Trainer of Trainers I'm already certified in but need to do the upgrade to teach the class online.
So I'm jumping off the computer. Not sure if I'll get back today since we need to eat early as Yom Kippur services start at 6:20. Have a great Sunday.

7 hours painting yesterday and another 6.5 today. If my calculations are correct I’ll need another 14 hours to complete the project. Hope there are enough good weather weekend days before it gets too cold to paint

Pat, do you have a TJ Maxx around? They have yoga pants with pockets.
I did a hodge podge of exercises this weekend. Walked outside and went to half a Zumba class yesterday (they changed the time without me noticing it). Took half a Zoom Yoga class today (the power went out & we had to switch over to Zooming on our phones) and walked on the treadmill (it's cold & rainy here).
Here's a cartoon I can relate to!

Congratulations, sweet!!!

Congrats Sweet!
Ruth, I checked TJ Maxx when I did my retail therapy the other day, no luck. It shouldn't be so hard to find comfy pants with pockets - I know they exist!
Today I am in search of some more pickleball groups that welcome beginners - I played again yesterday, but it is becoming clear that I am not some peoples preferred partner - which I understand since I am not very good - yet! Playing with me as a partner right now guarantees a loss, and some people are too competitive. I really get where they are coming from, but the only way I will get better is through playing, so I need to find some beginner tolerant players who will encourage and teach.

I find comfy pant with pockets ONLY by shopping in the men's department. URGH.

Steep hill workout with friend, just over 2.3 miles I think, 55 minutes. Increased pace on reps 5 and 10. 'Ran' 40 paces in the middle of rep 10, which felt like slogging through pudding it was so slow....lol!

Pound this morning, Zumba tonight. It was cold and windy here today. Sadly, it's almost time to turn on the furnace.

Good for you S&S!
I'm in London and have been for the past two days on a course and will be here till Wednesday evening. I've never really spent much time in this part of London - Vauxhall (I will be as our consulate relocated here a coupe of years ago) and this area is known as Little Portugal, with many Portuguese restaurants & cafes. I'm low carb diet so I stick to salads and coffee., boring I know. This is for part of the practical days for postural stability for frail and elderly that I've been on for what seems like forever. When Covid finishes, we may not have many elderly left. Off to practice two balance moves to demo teach and than scoot on out to class. Have a good Tuesday!

Tried some power walking today (not running, I kept one foot on the ground at each step). Averaged 14 minute miles, which is so far from running I want to cry. I see the podiatrist tomorrow, thinking strong, healing bone thoughts.

Pat, I like leggings and yoga pants from Lands End. They have small pockets -- enough for a chapstick and a folded up mask so I am ready for facing someone!

TT, how do they run size-wise? I usually wear a medium, but with TJ Maxx yoga pants, I need a large.
Doggie walking and Barre Sculpt for me today.

The lands end yoga pants (full length pants and capris) run true to size and last for years...like I have had some for 5+ years and they look great. I can wear the pants/capris to gym classes or running around town as they are slim cut but not tight/skinny cut. The leggings are another story, they are on your skin...so I buy a size up so they are slim cut to wear at classes or around town with longer tops/sweaters and ankle boots at this time of year.

Thanks TrmTab - I have looked at the Lands end pants, especially their starfish pants, but I want a pocket I can stick my phone and readers into. But I agree with you, their quality is amazing, I have many tops from them.

Pat01 - you might be able to use a shirt that has a pocket on the sleeve for your phone. (Depending on the size of your phone). I have a moisture-wicking long sleeve shirt like that.
I have also seen people wear a new kind of fanny pack that is really like a low-profile belt with a pocket (not bulky like the old ones).
I hope you find something that works!

Hi everyone! Its been a while since I checked in! I came on to read a BCO article that was shared on Facebook and decided to pop in here too. Wanted to chime in on pants...
Pat...I also would recommend Athleta. I have several pairs with a side pockets on leg and most also have a zipper pocket on back. Athleta offers several styles with different compression and for different uses..street wear, running, yoga, etc. They are a Gap company. More expensive but I have had a few prs of their tights for over 5yrs and still in great shape. Gap and Old Navy also offer decent leggings at cheaper prices. Most running brands have quality workout clothing too. Watch for sales! The issue I have with cheaper material is waist rolling down during some activities. Never fun to keep having to pull up leggings in the middle of a workout! Also have recently bought some leggings from a company called zyia. They are like a tupperware, pampered chef, Mary Kay, etc company. Not sold in stores but thru direct sales. A little cheaper than Athleta and quality seems good so far. And they have pockets!
EDITED to add about the belt that was mentioned in post above mine...I have a flip belt! Wear it all the time when running or walking...no bounce, holds my phone, Kleenex, keys, gels, etc. They are about $20'and well worth it.
I ran a virtual full marathon the end of August. Went very well and am currently training for a real in person half marathon the end of Oct. So excited. Fingers crossed it still happens. So over virtual anything right now. My St Judes Marathon in Dec also went virtual so will run that in Dec. Super bummed about that as it was supposed to be a girls trip/reunion weekend with 2 of my HS cross country teammates plus it benefits an organization that is dear to me. Hopefully we can do it next December instead.
Edj...hope the foot heals soon!
Hope everyone is well!
Ran last night so today is XT and yoga. Hope everyone is well!

Hi Runner! Good to 'see' you! Is it windy enough for you? (We are under a high wind warning; it's already blowing like crazy and gusts are supposed to be up to 50 mph later.)
The Walking Women took a walk uptown & around a pretty park. This picture is taken on the stage of an Arts Park where they have outdoor concerts etc. in the summer.

Hi Ruth! Oh my...dont blow away! Its windy here today but not that bad! The wind is definitely bringing in some colder temps for the rest of the week. Not ready for it either. I am signed up to work fb game on friday night.. high of 50* that day and low of 37* that night into Sat morning. Should make for a cold game on Fri and a chilly long run on Sat morning at 6:30am! I want summer back!

Runner: Good to see you!
Ruth: I see little lights on the structure and I bet it looks really cool when they are on.
Sweet: Congratulations on 8 years out!
LB: I REALLY wish I could take your classes!
edj: Hope you received good news at your appointment.
Pat: Good luck finding your pants. Lots of excellent advice here.
So thankful for the cool weather we have been having. I've been walking/running and of course mowing. Tomorrow is mow day for this week. And I turned 65 last week! Finally on Medicare.
It's that time of the year again! Painted pumpkins yesterday and today. Here are a few.
