I've had both doses of the Shingrex vaccine. I will say both hurt like the dickens when administered but I really didn't have any side effects. So here's hoping your reactions are more like mine.

I'm putting the WWW collage I make every week for Facebook here. Plus what I wrote to go along with the picture, since I think it is so important.
WWW dons our Red, White & Blue to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote. We are committed to exercising that hard-won right and encourage all women, and men, to join us. Get informed, make a plan, VOTE!

This morning's exercise is tire changing!!! At least, it' happened starting out today, so no major hardship. Wish me luck, and yes I will accept "gentlemanly assistance"!

Good luck with the tire. I am also very open to gentlemanly assistance with stuff like that!
It's a balmy 45 degrees so I think we'll walk the dogs & I have registered for Zumba tonight.

I walked as planned this morning. Skipped yoga because I cleaned and that was definitely a workout.
Tomorrow I will walk and do the yoga class that I didn't do today.

As someone who has had Shingles 3 times in 2020, I highly recommend getting the vaccine. Trust me when I say you don’t want Shingles. I am just hoping to go 6 months without another flare so I can then get the vaccine.
This last episode sidelined me from anything except slower walking. I have been so wiped out and the hip area nerve pain has continued even after the rash has resolved. So frustrating! Today I decided to try Zumba and see how it went. It was rough. I am already so sore. Have a checkup on Friday and will see what dr suggests.
Lilac- glad you were able to vote; we need every one!

I went to Pound this morning. Tonight at Dance2fit, they are doing a 1980s theme......if my 1980s get-up looks good I will post a picture.

Used my Cubii in several of my online meetings today. It sure makes it more tolerable. I tie my fitbit on my running shoes. I'm staying remote til at least Thanksgiving break - as the school district is pulling grades 3-5 back to remote. The kids were only in person for 8 days. At the elementary school I'm covering I have kids in grades 2 - 5, but they are keeping everyone in person.. My two kiddos that are in person are in grade 4 and 5 - per my boss and her boss, we are NOT to go into schools to serve kiddos that are supposed to be online. Middle and high school are online the rest of the semester. Only students who are in person (unless parents choose remote) are ECE-2 plus our special education center programs.
The weather is warming up to the 60s and 70s by next week. We covered our petunias in the back garden and they are surviving, hubby uncovered them this afternoon. The hanging plants have been in the house all week - we'll put them outside tomorrow morning.
Maybe I can get a run in tomorrow morning as it won't be as cold. I miss going out before work but it's been bitter cold. Today I walked around 10, then after work.

Here's a picture of our 80's Dance2fit Happy Halloworkout (we moved together for a quick picture & then right back to our assigned spots 6 feet apart).

I played 9 holes of golf in 100 degree heat in South West Florida with my sister. Soooo hot. We had fun and I burned alot of calories being that we walked. Drank lots of water too. Beach today

Woke up to our first snow this morning - was supposed to be north and west of us, but they got it wrong. It is still going on out there, and actually accumulating. Very unusual to have snow before Halloween.
I've been walking a bit with friends, but not regularly, mostly playing pickleball for exercise, but this week has been mostly rain, and now snow! I did sign up for indoor lessons starting in a couple of weeks - I have mixed feelings about going indoors for exercise, but I need to keep my mental health in mind as we approach winter, and exercising has certainly been good for that, as well as the social aspect of the game too. And I think the lessons will be good too, help me not to develop bad playing habits.

I just did a Denise Austin Yoga DVD & am now off to walk the wild things (grandpuppies).

69 today - tomorrow 50s but then warming up to 70s early next week.
Positivity rate is almost 9% in Denver (or is it Colorado) - definitely going in the wrong direction. I'm waiting for the governor/mayor to announce stay at home order. Other than the grocery store I really don't go anywhere, except our walks!
Mailed my daughter in Israel he 5 boxes of Girl Scout cookies that we haven't been able to bring to her - plus two of her dresses that she decided she now likes. I offered to sent her the cookies and 2 dresses - those are the most expensive Girl Scout cookies ever! This package was more expensive than when I mailed her my cookies along with socks and dish towels to pad the cookies. Who knows when we will be able to see her.
Time to get off the computer and finish that last few things for Shabbat dinner.
Have a good Friday night and Saturday.

Yoga + 1 hr walk tonight. It snowed, not ready for winter. Here is a picture from today.

Ruth....Did you like the Denise Austin yoga DVD? I have several yoga (and walking) dvds but I have never tried Denise's.
Today's workout: yoga.

Yes, I do like Denise Austin's Yoga DVDs. She also has some good Pilates DVDs. I went to a Pound class and walked on my treadmill. We are in a High Wind Advisory and it's already howling like crazy! Happy Halloween!!🎃

I do NOT like the time change. Woke up at 2:30, couldn't go back to sleep so got up at 3:30 -texted and sent my daughter in Israel pictures. She asked why I was up. Got back into bed at 4:45 and stayed in bed till 6:15. Not sure how much I slept. Went for a short run and will run with DH went he goes in a bit.
Nice weather today - sun is shining and 60s

Did a run in the woods yesterday as DH forgot my ebike battery and biked by himslef. (Yes, he's supposed to remember those things.) It was so gorgeous I didn't really miss trying to chase after him on the bike. Plus he and I are social distancing because he had a close contact who tested positive and had to quarantine and now somebody else in his office tested positive. Ugh. Positive rate here is 25%!!! I still have not been to the gym nor the dentist. But I did get a flu shot at my onc's office.
Keep safe at the polls and everywhere else!

Yikes, stay away from DH Heidi. Our positive rates are bad, but not as bad as yours. We early voted the first day possible, so that is crossed off the list. If you haven't voted yet, please do so!!!
The winds yesterday were gusting to 55 mph, so we had lots of branches, twigs, more leaves all over the yard. I just got in the house after cleaning all that up, Zoom Yoga is in a few minutes & I think I will do Barre Sculpt as well. The forecast for the whole week is wonderful, in the 60s; which is VERY rare for November in North Dakota.....we'd be happy if it were in the 40s. I am going to spend as much time outside as possible. Bonus Fall Days!

Walked this morning...carried weights while I did which felt great. Tomorrow walking and hopefully yoga if I have time/energy.
Anyone else kind of holding their breath as we head into this week?

I am going to try to stay busy.....outside if the weather forecast comes true. I also have a bathroom that needs to be painted if the weather doesn't hold up to it's promise.

Walked several miles yesterday. Being that we are in our winter place of South West Florida, very very hot and humid. My summer home in RI got snow!. Last year when I was home in RI all winter getting chemo and such, we had only a few snow storms. I love the snow. What am I doing in Florida? you ask. My husband has severe cardiac disease and can't tolerate the cold in the winters. I refuse to give up our New England home

Well, today was the first morning in the 30's...38 but still. So I thought of you, Ruth, and your southern weather man as I reached for socks for the first time this fall! Have settled into a steady pattern of 6 yoga or pilates classes a week -- in person. We are still doing okay here in SE Virginia...hope we can stay in person. TT

We are having a week in the 60s, which is an unusual and very happily received gift from the weather gods!!! We plan to be outside as much as possible; maybe go hiking one day, clean out the cars, go on puppy walks etc. etc. After picking up the branches & raking all the wind-blown leaves yesterday, we should be done with yardwork as there are no more leaves left on the trees.
I went to Pound this morning, we'll walk dogs this afternoon & I'll do Zumba tonight.

Beautiful weather here in KS too, mid-60s today then about 70 every day until next Tuesday when we have our next chance for snow.
I see the orthopedist tomorrow for my foot, hoping for all clear.

Happy Monday!!
Looks like a lot of us will see nice weather this week. I am beyond excited! Great week to get out walk, run, enjoy the warmth and finish up a few things in our yard and garage!! Wishing the above avg temps continue thru the end of month, but not sure we will get that lucky!
Ran 10 miles yesterday on my own and 4 milesbefore work this morning with my running group. 3 yrs ago today I finished chemo. I still had 6 1/2wks of radiation to get thru but I chose to ring the bell and celebrate after that last grueling chemo treatment. Dinner with my family this evening. Feeling grateful today that I can celebrate this milestone.

Power walked with weights. Felt good!

70s all week in Denver, then during the week-end its cools off and by Monday 30s and snow!! As much as I don't like the time change, it was nice to run this morning before work at 6:30 in the light. Walked mid morning before I spent the rest of the day looking at a computer screen.
Positivity rate in Denver is over 9%!! Definitely going in the wrong direction. All the metrics are red.
Stay safe and stay healthy.

Runner, Mother Nature gave you a perfect day to celebrate. We had so much fun with the puppies, I don't know who enjoyed the great outdoors more!
Karen, our weather will take a nose-dive next week too, so we're enjoying it while it lasts. North Dakota's Covid numbers are even worse than yours. It is absolutely horrifying. Very little masking, no state leadership.......what could go wrong?
